Popular Post QrazorQ
Enjoyment: 8/10 Difficulty: 2/10 Overall great game and has a beautiful story with a little twist leading to a sad end. Liked this game because of the art. The art looks like Zelda The Wind Waker and I adore the style of these games. First playtrough was just fun for and second for the collectibles (which was kinda boring). PS: How do you embed the trophy pictures. It works for me with the game picture itself but not with the trophy pictures.

Popular Post voodoo_eyes
#291 - Need for Speed I can't understand the design decision to make this game online. There were times where playing it online was literally unplayable as the lag was insane. Switching to solo mode would almost always lose connection to the servers entirely. It could've been a worthy successor to the Underground games, but end up being just OK. Enjoyment: 6 Difficulty: 3.5

Popular Post Meachamp-
God of War (VITA) #22 Time to platinum: 10 hours | Difficulty: 3/10 | Enjoyment: 9/10 I mentioned in my status update how I was playing through the new one and I was absolutely loving it. I liked it that much that I decided to try and nail the platinum for my "1337" trophy so I decided that it would be time to build up some trophy count as I have around 200 before I even get close. So I thought there was a great opportunity to play the first few games so naturally I did. Although very basic (should of started this waaaay before I even attempted the new one) it was great to play a classic game that I haven't played in so many years. Seeing a much younger and hotheaded Kratos in comparison to the new one is actually quite a big change. Spoiler Overview I'm pretty sure everyone knows this by now but to be put basically. You play as Kratos a man looking for revenge on the God of War. After giving his life to Ares, the God of War he then was tricked by him. So the whole purpose of this game is to get your revenge. Also, if you don't know what happens it's not just a little trick either. Something major. That's it really. You then have to go through a set of events to gain the power of beating him. Gameplay You're old school kind of PS2 action-adventure really. You smash a set of buttons on some enemies which throw out some badass moves on a load of different enemies at once. You can mix up the combos or you can keep it really simple really with just the same ones over and over but experimenting is the key on these games and besides you need to do some combos in order to break shields of enemies and what not. You also have a blue magic bar where throughout the game you pick up powers left to you from the Gods. Which gives the game a nice little kick. I've pressed so many times today doing the speedrun with the infinite magic. The rest is just puzzles throughout and nothing overly complicated. The games linear but some parts can be a little tough to figure out and navigate unless you've played the game before such as the cliffs when trying to get the necklaces to extend the bridges. It's a linear area but it's just a little confusing but yeah. Nothing too complicated to keep you from the platinum or carrying on with the story just can suck up some time. Characters The main one is Kratos and even if you haven't played the games before you would of heard how he's possibly one of the most angriest men in video games. He's just relentless and I think that's what make his character and games so liked. It makes it a lot more fun. In this game he just has one frame of mind and that's revenge and with good reason I guess. He doesn't really show any other emotions but he literally only has that one anyway. Everyone else doesn't really matter. The God's make an appearance through a magic hologram thing but it's only to give Kratos some powers so you don't really get there emotions and how the act and all that stuff. Even the people he speaks to in game are there merely seconds. Oracle, the grave digger etc etc. So yeah, nothing really too deep about characters in this game. Same with Ares, you only see him in a handful of scenes but all he does is torment Kratos. Trophies Nothing to annoying really other than the "Challenge of the Gods" but in all honesty it didn't take that long. I'm not going to say the difficulty is exaggerated on how hard they are because difficulty is subjective but there are ways to make it a lot easier on yourself. I didn't have a problem with it. The rest are rather simple really. There's the progression through the game really a lot of unmissables. In the form of fights with a certain enemy or picking up a power from the gods. They are basically your story trophies. There are no difficulty trophies to worry about in the game but there is a speedrun trophy. Which I absolutely will say that should be saved for after completing the game and the challenge of the gods. You get an outfit called "Dairy Bastard" yup that's the actual name. Basically Kratos in a cow suit and instead of blade he has milk cartons as his swords but the best thing about this suit is. Infinite Magic. So what I did for my speedrun trophy was I made sure I started the game with that suit and that I never went out of my way for collectibles that could help improve magic of health. There literally wasn't any need. Whatever red orbs I did get I focused on Poseidon's Rage magic and got that to max level and the same with the blades. Near the end I did use Army of Hades so I could rest my thumb I finished the game in around 3 hours maybe? It's really doable in 5 hours so don't worry. The rest are misc and can be picked up literally anywhere besides a couple that have to be done at certain points. Conclussion Great to live through this game again like I did all them years ago. Lucky for me when playing through the new one there are a lot of references to the older games. Not really necessary to play through these old ones first but you get a feel on the situation a lot more and why he tries to hide it from his son etc. So yeah playing through these before the new one isn't necessary but would go a long way. I loved this game again and had a blast with it. Felt very good on the Vita as well. Who knows, maybe one day I'll play the PS3 version as well. Popular Post DrBloodmoney
#332 - CHIME SHARP Quite proud of this one - 12th on the site to get it, and at 2.58%, right now it’s another Ultra-Rare platinum ? Game is good, though a little buggy at times - got quite a few crashes over the course of my playing, including one particularly heartbreaking one during the fifth board of an attempt at the ‘mastering’ trophy (the hardest trophy and my last one for the plat, which is for 100% completion of 5 boards in a row). The general concept is good, and the music generally pretty good too - it’s certainly addictive, though I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t kind of glad to be done with the trickier trophies. Will probably keep the game on my system for the odd blast every now and then though - much more relaxing when the trophies are already out of the way! Popular Post Brawler
Platinum Trophy #88: Master of Zestiria (Tales of Zestiria) I've got mixed feelings about this game. I wouldn't say it's bad however I would say it's probably the weakest "Tales of" game I've played so far, though that's not a terrible thing as most of these games are rather solid. The gear-oriented approach was a neat change of pace but I wasn't a huge fan, especially when going for a few of the trophies like "Sweet 16" for example. You still gain some benefits via consumables and leveling up which is a plus. Combat-wise it was more of the same with a few twists such as Armatization which was a cool new feature. Overall I'd say I enjoyed this when I was just casually playing it and didn't find myself getting annoyed until going for specific trophies. Difficulty: 4/10 (I did the one playthrough method and it still wasn't too bad) Enjoyment: 7/10

I was able to finish the eclipse with Schierke today, the last character I needed, i saved her for last because I thought she would be the hardest one, she was in fact the easiest!! After that it was piece of cake to grind the last 9 trophies I needed for the platinum trophy to pop. Woo-hooo! I have a collection of berserk mangas in brazilian portuguese, back in my country, but now I feel like collecting the english ones and reading everything again...or maybe watching the animes. Popular Post Alegarz
Platinum #1 - Neverwinter Enjoyment - 10/10 Absolutely loved this game throughout! As this was the first main MMORPG I have ever played, it didn't disappoint, don't get me wrong it's a super grind to get platinum but it's a very enjoyable journey, will definitely be stacking this platinum with the Hong Kong version. Difficulty - 3/10 The hardest part of this game is completing the 25 epic dungeons. However, if you have a well geared team it shouldn't prove too difficult. Also there are a few areas in the story which can get a little difficult if under levelled, besides that it's a pretty easy game. 0.75% Ultra Rare Edited July 25, 2018 by Alegarz
Popular Post Undead Wolf
#210 - Clannad Complete Collect all trophies. I finally got the chance to play this game in English! And my God, what an emotional roller coaster it has been. I totally understand why Clannad has the reputation it does now - After Story tore my heart into pieces... Not only is this one of my favourite visual novels now, it's also one of the longest I've played. There are so many different routes, some better than others, but all worth experiencing. My favourites were the Nagisa + After Story, Tomoyo, and Kyou routes. I may have finished the game now, but I'll remember what took place and how they made me feel for a very long time to come. I know that's a cheesy thing to say, but it's Clannad. I'm sure anyone who's played the game or watched the anime know what I'm talking about.

Popular Post Ala-Arska
Cladun Returns: This is Sengoku! Platdun Returns: You Did It! Obtain all trophies for Cladun Returns: This is Sengoku! This particular Hydra took about 12 x 100 floors to finally appear. Thanks RNG! Hells Bells! Bee's knees! Ant's pants! If any game ever was a struggle, this was it! Only nine Platinum achievers before me and with approx 1.3% Ultra Rare, I knew it was going to be a pain in the ass And with no trophy guides or complete information about some trophies around, I was doing everything the hard way. I wanted to do this because a: I was craving for a roguelike RPG to tackle and b: I need some f**king Ultra Rares, dudes (and dudettes) Main 50 dungeons and extra 50 ones only take 10-20 hours to complete (very roughly), so no biggie there. Story is basic soul saving stuff, btw. Real fun begins after that. There are these so-called Rangeons, with 100 levels each. And of course no chance to save at any point, duh Neogeons rise enemy levels randomly with every floor. That you have to complete at least 4 times to get every color of last boss Hydra to spawn. But, since it's RNG based, you'll end up missing the last one over and over again. 12 runs it took me. Plus the failed runs and freezes. Yup, the game can freeze when you're changing floors or at the last goddamn floor. It happened to me twice, and I did almost cry. Almost. Trigeons are the same shit as Neogeons, but here enemies scale with you level and there's no warps. "Only" one or few runs required. Last compulsory Rangeon is the Deathgeon. Only 10 floors, but you'll be running those few random floors hundreds of times. Yay, boredom! Enemies there vary from lv ~1000 to 9999. With your max level 99, you'll be in some deep, deep shit. And you'll die...repeatedly. FML... So, what you'll want to do is raise all your resistance stats over 200 and become a motherf**king invincible destroyer of planets! I can't emphasize enough how grindy all this is. And examples above were just a tip of the ice berg. Collect everything and do everything, and more! As I mentioned before, story stuff only takes max 20 hours. Farming all and getting RNG-raped in the butthole took me extra 100+ hours! My poor ass... Relying on luck to get a certain colored boss to appear at the final floor of a 100 room trek suck major donkey balls. I lost faith in trophy hunting more than once. At least there's always music to help you pass the time. Muting the TV and listening to Springsteen, Judas Priest, Journey, Fleetwood Mac and co saved my soul. Cladun Returns: This is Sengoku! is a game that eats away your sanity, breaks your will and makes you hate all games...of course you'll want to play it now
