Popular Post Undead Wolf
#212 - Rime The end is a new beginning Obtain all trophies. A really chill game with a great art style where you explore a mysterious island and solve puzzles, all while trying to piece together the story. Heavily reminiscent of games like ICO, even including the plot twist ending as is often the case in stuff like this. I greatly enjoyed my time with this game - it's definitely worth checking out.

Popular Post Carol
#137 Rayman Legends Legendary Win all trophies in the game! And... the grinding is over for the third time! I don't think anyone can question my love for Rayman now! This is my third Rayman Legends platinum and if we add all the time that I spent with this game across all three versions, I played Rayman Legends' challenges for more than a year! I could do this version faster, because there were more people playing, since the game was on PS Plus recently, but the other two versions took me 5/6 months. This time, I could do lots of gold cups and even some diamond ones, which was nice. I really love these modern Rayman games. They are extremely fun, colourful, original and charming. I have a personal preference for the first game (Origins), but Legends' levels are great too. Especially, the musical levels are something that everyone should play! There aren't many of them, but they are where this game shines; it's not possible to describe how much fun it is to play them. Talking now a bit more about the platinum, we all now it's extremely grindy, since you have to achieve the last level of awesomeness, which means you have to play online challenges for weeks/months, in order to get cups, that give you points. You also have to rescue all the teensies in the game. Most of the levels are easy and fun to complete, although some invasion paintings (time-trials) can be a bit hard and frustrating. If you do the plat three times, like I did, everything will become easier! I really wish Ubisoft gave us more Rayman. Anyone knows why there aren't new Rayman games? Didn't the games sell very well? If this is the case, then it's a shame that people keep supporting AC and FC, but not Rayman. They are amongst the most fun, original and creative things you can play from Ubisoft, even if you aren't a fan of platformers. They are also games for everyone (both kids and adults), which, for me, is a good thing and should be supported.
Popular Post ughrora
#56 - Senran Kagura: Burst Re:Newal Path of the Shinobi Obtained all trophies. This is my second time platting this game. Got the plat for the JP version last Tuesday. This is the AS version! This run went a lot quicker than the last. I love this series, so I am a bit biased with opinions on it and the like. Only thing some people may not like is that while it is a remaster, it's basically Burst as a 3D action game, not a side-scroller like the original. I will more than likely get the plats for the EU and NA versions as well when they are released!
Popular Post vampiresarego
#53 - Detroit: Become Human (PS4) 12th July 2018 Detroit Master 3 weeks, 3 days, 12 minutes Another exceptional game from Quantic Dream. To be honest, this is the first game by Quantic Dream that I have platinumed. I think Heavy Rain is still the best game produced by this studio, but Detroit is a very close second. I think of all three games this one is a lot more accessible. You can tell that Quantic Dream is really perfecting their style of gameplay and it really shines in this one. The story is really engaging, you become attached to these characters. Even going back to do the "evil" playthrough, it was tough to make those decisions. The trophy list is not too difficult as well. I don't feel it was too big of challenge making my way to the platinum trophy. Of the three games by Quantic, I feel this one is the easiest to get the platinum for. Please, if you are a fan of the other two games, and you haven't played this yet, get a copy and enjoy. Popular Post Cellcrash1991
#47 - DETROIT: BECOME HUMAN DETROIT MASTER Collected all trophies! Since the demo game "Kara" was released back in 2012, I was looking forward to what it was to become. And it turned out awesome! I needed 3 playthrough's for this. The first one with how I should decide the events. Wich was pretty decent since only "SPOILER ALERT" Spoiler Hank commited suicide and Connor was shut down The other playtroughs were done with the help of a guide. Off all three games (Heavy Rain, BEYOND & DETROIT), I like Heavy Rain still a bit more but DETROIT has a solid 2nd place for sure! I wonder what gem will be next, QuanticDream.

I didn't really have any struggles with it and it had been so long since I originally played it that it was also a fun platinum to get. I'm going to be taking a small break before I jump into Kingdom Hearts Re:Chain of Memories to get that platinum. #53 Onechanbara Z2 Chaos Difficulty: 1/10 Enjoyment: 10/10Rarity: 7.76% (Very Rare) I had a blast with this game from beginning to end. Like KH I never felt any struggle from this game. It was smooth sailing all the way through. Having to play through it 3 times didn't matter because I was still having fun in the end. During my 3rd playthrough I was messing around and found a bunch of glitches/skips you can do to skip a bunch of different levels so that was fun lol.
Popular Post Brawler
Platinum #90: Crossing Fate (Blazblue Cross Tag Battle) I've done a few Blazblue completions and this was by far the fastest/easiest. I didn't even go out of my way to do things efficiently and still managed a time of just over 4 hours. The game itself is fairly solid, though there isn't much there for people who won't be playing online. Ranked lobbies were fairly dead (Thanks to A-Brawl3r for the assist) but the casual lobbies still had a fair amount of players. It's a cool premise having all of these anime fighters on one game, but the tweaks to the usual Blazblue controls threw me off quite a bit. Overally it's a fun game and I'd say it's well worth a rent, but a buy is tough to justify if you won't play much outside of the trophies. Popular Post FluffyAssassin64
#96 - Heavy Rain (PS4) "HEAVY RAIN Master" Unlock all trophies Boy oh boy, was this such an interesting game! I'd originally played it in 2012, but was more than happy to play it again now that it's been free on PS+. Heavy Rain has its incredible highs, and somewhat disappointing lows, but in my opinion it's a game that deserves to be experienced by most people. The 'bad' first... if you're one of those people who hates exploration, quick-time events, and 'mundane' tasks, then this absolutely isn't for you. I personally love this stuff (not all the time, mind you, but it's done excellently here), but I can understand if it's not your cup of tea. There are also a few issues with sound-syncing, odd-looking facial expressions, and wonky controls (sometimes the camera is too clever for its own good!). The story also has a few questionable lapses in continuity & occasionally fails to explain why and how something happens; but generally it's very well put together. Alright, enough of that; on to the good stuff! Wow. Some of the scenes in this game - particularly some of Ethan's trials - are up there with some of the most memorable scenes in any game I've ever played. The intensity and emotion demonstrated by the facial capture (which is, overall, excellent by the way) go a long way to making you cringe, tense up, or just feel for the characters. The more 'intense' scenes are interspersed well amongst more 'conversational' or relaxed scenes too, which keeps the pace flowing nicely and prevents it from becoming overwhelming. Apart from a few 'messy' chapters, there is a lot to love here. The story - while not perfect - unfolds nicely, with reveals and explanations being drip-fed slowly before a well-done reveal later on. Really solid stuff. The characters are all pretty great too. Some can be a bit annoying in parts (but aren't well all, sometimes? :P), but I certainly felt for all of them and wanted to do my best to keep them all alive! That brings me to the next part; the very well-made branching narrative where - get this - choice ACTUALLY MATTERS! I know, right? There are some parts that might have less impact than you would first imagine, but the possibility of a character dying, missing a vital clue, or being arrested (and unable to continue with trials, for example) keeps the intensity going throughout. Playing on hard makes this even more tense, as you never know which mistake will be your last... haha. Seriously though, great stuff. Ambience and general atmosphere is also absolutely fantastic. I love 'rainy weather' generally anyway, and it's used to great effect here to really make you feel like you're there. I honestly thought it was actually raining in real life a few times! The musical score is also amazing, as are sound effects (for the most part). Gameplay... is a bit variable. There are some moments where it fits perfectly (matches what your character is doing, moving slowly makes sense, prompts 'shaking' to indicate fear/stress...), but others - looking at you, controller tilt! - where it feels unfair and frustrating; particularly when it feels that your controller didn't detect the input properly. Thankfully, these moments of frustration were few and far between, and didn't negatively affect my experience overall. Trophy-wise, there's nothing too taxing here. You'll need to play through a few times for all of the endings (and to 'mop up' a few missing trophies), but there are only a few that require memorisation or 'skill'. Don't worry though; there are guides / videos out there to help if you get stuck That said, I absolutely, 100%, recommend that you DO NOT LOOK AT TROPHIES BEFORE YOUR FIRST PLAYTHROUGH!!! This game - and others like it - is built upon the story elements; please, please don't ruin the experience - for your first run-through at least. You'll get a lot of the trophies anyway, and chapter select is easy and intuitive. Re: the 'all endings' trophy, the guide available on this site is excellent, and specifies exactly where to replay from & what choices to make to get each one. I made good use of it! In summary, Heavy Rain is an incredibly affecting game with some absolutely stellar moments. Even having played through it once before (6 years ago), the moments that I remembered still hit me hard the 2nd time around! Some of the character endings - particularly the 'sad' ones - are particularly strong as well; make sure you pay attention when going for the 'all endings' trophy. Seriously, you might even cry... So yeah, if you like this style of game / are willing to give it a go, Heavy Rain is absolutely worth a play. Just don't expect it to change your mind if you're not big on the genre in general... but you never know, you might be surprised... Popular Post ShonenCat
Platinum #29 - 007 Legends Difficulty Rating 6/10 Enjoyment Rating 5/10 Ultra Rare - 1.48% Ooh joy! It's 007 Legends! The supposed successor to GoldenEye Reloaded and Eurocom's final nail in the coffin that lead to them ceasing all further operations. The game follows James Bond in him remembering his past missions (some great, some not) as he sits at the bottom of a river after being accidently shot by Moneypenny just like in the opening to Skyfall. You experience missions from Goldfinger, OHMSS, License to Kill, Die Another Day and Moonraker. The game is an unpolished and glitchy mess. Trophy wise, everything seems to pop naturally though. I don't blame Eurocom for the final product. They've been known for doing a better job with GoldenEye Wii and GoldenEye Reloaded. There is only one culprit here and that's Activision, the publisher. They obviously put Eurocom under heavy time constraints in order to quickly push out a product as fast as possible in order to make bank on the current Skyfall hype at the time. If you ask me, we deserved something so much better for Bond's 50th anniversary. Alas, we are left with this. Campaign is fairly an easy if not somewhat boring struggle, some collectibles can prove to be confusing and the video guides out there are mostly terrible. So much so, I about lost it during the collectible hunt. However, I found a random YouTuber by the name of Anthony Gerhart who has collectible guides for every mission and doesn't miss a single one like some others! Plus the guy has a sense of humor, I highly recommend using his guides should you choose to torture yourself with this game. Challenges are like MI6 Ops in GoldenEye Reloaded but not nearly as difficult. Unfortunately there is no cheat code to cheese your way out of these ones A few video guides will show you the right ways for obtaining all stars. And finally, the most absolute foul culprit of the trophy run, the online multiplayer! It's miserable and has no players so boosting will be required. You'll have plenty of mode related trophies as well as the dreadful "get to level 50" trophy. Those aren't even the worst, there is one trophy for Legends mode where you'll need a lobby of 10 people (counting yourself) and you have to shoot the other 9 as Blofeld. Nobody plays this so finding a random lobby is no longer possible. You'll need to gather up a bunch of people to pop this one, and these servers aren't exactly the most stable. Getting everyone to connect to the same public lobby is troublesome. As for everything else online related, you can trick the game somehow into thinking you have slow internet and it'll start a public lobby for a max of 2 players. This makes it real easy for you and one other person to pop all other online trophies. One nice thing this game has going for it is it's 4 player split screen, which isn't really heard of anymore. It's nice to see Bond games still following this tradition since GoldenEye 64. This game is very average at best and feels like it should of been nothing more than an expansion pack for GoldeneEye Reloaded. To this very day, 007 Legends is still the latest James Bond game and seems to have left a very bad taste in everyone's mouth. Even the biggest of Bond fans like myself find it hard to enjoy this game, even ironically. Worry not, for James Bond will return as he always does and hopefully we will soon see a game with him that pushes expectations ? Popular Post SmilexBomb
Tales of Zestiria Master of Zestiria This is proof that you've obtained all trophies. We're thrilled you like the game so much, and we hope to meet you again in future titles! Enjoyment: 6/10 Difficulty: 4/10 Time: 62 hours Wanted to try finish in one play-through but messed up on a missable and had to do a second speedrun. The game seems to get a lot of flak but to be honest I thought it was pretty good. The story is a bit of a mess but personally I find that I always enjoy the character/party interaction via skits and whatnot. Gameplay I thought was pretty fun though. Combat is fast paced and I like that harder difficulties don't drag out battles like other Tales games. The normin/fusing/upgrade system is a massive drainer and a grind, and could definitely be improved, but if you work for it you can get hilariously broken. Overall I had a good time, though I thought the DLC kinda sucked. Edited July 31, 2018 by SmilexBomb
Popular Post AJ_Radio
Platinum #152: Sleeping Dogs: Definitive Edition (July 27th, 2018) Difficulty: 3/10 Excitement Rating: 8/10 Estimated Time to Platinum: 26 Hours Since I covered this game two years ago on the PS3, I’m only going to talk about the new features and the differences. It was enjoyable playing this game the second time around. I barely noticed any graphical changes, apart from the resolution of 1080p to 720p. But since the Definitive Edition comes with ALL DLC, which I didn't realize until after I bought the PS3 original, I highly recommend the PS4 version over it. There is more required to do to get all the activities done. There are a few new races, none of which are difficult. There are Cop Jobs which are basically favors you do for the police. A few new events which are a bit more involved. A new side quest involving a vehicle with mounted machine guns and an EMP which renders cars useless when used on. My personal favorite by far is the Zodiac Tournament. Which obviously is a spoof of the old Bruce Lee movies, even trying to make it look like a ‘70s flick. Sadly it is very short, and took me around 30 - 40 minutes to get everything done. It adds two statistics that count towards the Pure Gold trophy, so you don’t have to do all of them (only 30 out of 32 stats need to be fulfilled). Apart from the activities I listed and the DLC clothes and vehicles, everything is basically the same. This is an open world game, and it took me around 26 hours total to get the platinum. The additional content tacked on a few more hours, but it was definitely worth it. Wei Shen is the ideal cop. It's too bad United Front Games closed up shop. Hopefully a spiritual prequel or successor is in the works. The lack of games with Kung Fu influence is disheartening. Popular Post Beyondthegrave07
#69 - Watch_Dogs 2 Difficulty: 3/10 Fun: 7.5/10 RECOMMEND?: Pick it up in a sale! I'm really conflicted on this game. Really conflicted. I will tell you that I thoroughly enjoyed playing through this Ubisoft sandbox. I've said this once before, but it reminds me of a mix between Grand Theft Auto (heavy influence), Assassin's Creed (Heavy influence, but not as much as GTA), and Batman Arkham Series (mostly just the stealth and analytical approach to fights). It was great and was a fun 25 hours so why am I so conflicted? Ah, the story. The story is about a bunch of nerdy hipsters pretty much trying to bring down big, greedy, corrupt corporations and to "stick it to the man." so to speak. Essentially, the big bad companies are using data from everyone in San Francisco to manipulate their decisions to benefit the corporation. Of course, our team of hackers aren't going to have that and decide to start a war with them so they pretty much put on a bunch of childish pranks or sneak into their facility and steal their data and release it to the world to gain followers. If that sounds interesting to you, just play it and be ready for disappointment. The writing is really (really) bad and cringe-worthy and the voice acting is meh. There were points where big things happened to certain characters, and I really didn't care because none of them were very interesting at all besides Wrench. There are multiplayer trophies, but most of them can be earned by accident or half-assed while you play the story. The servers aren't dead, so if you have this one waiting in the backlog wings, now is a good as time as ever I suppose. Otherwise, I'd pick this one up in a sale at a later time.
