Popular Post kaluna1
#24 Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA F The destroyer of hands, thumbs, wrists and everything in between. Well, most songs are ok. But the super fast ones on hard (or extreme if you're literally insane) can destroy you. I had this game for quite a while without starting it, and when I did I struggled big time at the start. I felt like I had never been worse at a video game than at this specifically (I was even failing songs on normal). Part of the challenge is not being distracted by the background events, I hadn't really played a rhythm game before with an element like that. But once I found settled on my ideal set up (strangely I preferred TV speakers to headphones to follow the songs) and control scheme I improved quickly. The main issue at the start was all the indecisiveness more than anything. Once you're settled it's a fairly simple ride, with the exception of a couple of songs on hard. NegaPosi is Satan, I just beat it with one of the help items and moved on with my life. I have no idea how long I'd be there destroying my thumb and wrist if I wanted to beat it normally lol. There's also quite a lot of side stuff, I basically ignored it until I had beaten all the songs on normal/hard, but it was all cute enough. There's a handful of RNG trophies, most are ok but the worst one (and my last before platinum) was for seeing all the loading screen art in the game. Since it's (supposedly) random you could get it naturally or have to grind it out at the end like me. Strangely it's not even close to the rarest trophy in the game, even though it was the last one a friend and I both got. So there's quite a few people who just got it naturally and didn't platinum the game. Meanwhile I was stuck on getting the last loading screen art for like an hour... Anyways it was a fun enough platinum. I'm always up for 100%ing games menu challenge based games without missable collectibles, multiple playthroughs and all that noise. Before getting plat in this I didn't plat Murdered: Soul Suspect which by all accounts is a much faster and easier one. But 200+ missable collectibles is a no for me. I always like to play games without a guide at least once, then if possible maybe cleanup after. But there I would have had to either play with a guide or do a 2nd playthrough, none of which appealed to me. So I moved onto this which looked more fun, and stuck it out to the end. I'll probably still go back every now and then to play my fav songs, but I doubt I'll ever become a God at it (like those people who perfect songs on the hardest difficulty). Such is the life of many of us on this site who constantly bounce between games, we're destined to be a jack of all trades but master of none. But hey variety is the spice of life.
Popular Post zizimonster
#50 A few weeks back, I promised myself I would choose a gorgeous game for my semi-centennial platinum trophy. I chose God of War. As person who hasn't played any God of War games, the new game crafted by Sony Santa Monica is everything I hope for a game of the year material. Good story, spectacular gameplay, and the best part, the Valkyrie fights. Never in my life did I feel so excited to fight bosses. All things considered, if you're an addict of action games, God of War is a must-play -- platinum it for enjoyment to the fullest.
Popular Post Walt the Dog
PLAT #500DJMax Respect (NA) Easily the best rhythm game I've ever played and I would wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone even slightly into rhythm games. The 100% is hard as hell and the plat isn't a slouch either, but it's worth it.
Popular Post RuNNinG-sCaRe_D
#94 - Detroit: Become Human Detroit Master Story could have been a little "deeper", but overall very good. I enjoyed Connor's part the most. #95 - The Long Reach Platnum Little psycho-horor-adventure like "Lone Survivor". It's linear. Only 2 collectible-trophies are missable i think. Easy platinum. You can do it in 1-2h with a video guide. It's ok. I didn't fully understand the ending, i believe ? #96 - Ni no Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom One True King I didn't enjoy this very much. I missed the "magic", that i felt back in 2013 with "Ni No Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch". Story: Naive child wants peace for everyone. Sidemissions are ones like "kill monster x and find item y" and the "build your kingdom"-feature is pretty simple. Annoying for me, were the skirmish battles (you need 50 battles for a trophy). I hoped for more, when i bought this game. Far away from a "masterpiece" (some reviews had that word in it...) imo. Desmuria
#97 - The Assembly The Director All prior trophies have been unlocked Enjoyment: 6/10 Difficulty: 2/10 A really easy and quick platinum. The Assembly was first released for PSVR, but they've optimised the game so you don't have to have a VR headset to play. I don't own a PSVR headset, so I was pleased to see that this game would be played without it. You can tell that this game was supposed to be played in VR, because it's all very simple and rather dull in comparison to something like Ether One, for example. Either way, it was an easy platinum to obtain. I missed one of the trophies, so I had to use chapter select to clean up afterwards.
Popular Post TwilightSpira
PLATINUM 189 - DEAD SPACE EXTRATION Date of Achievement : August 9 , 2018 Enjoyment : 8,0 Difficult : 5,0Hardest Trophy : Mega Star Dead Space Extraction was originally released for the Wii in 2009 as a prequel of a Dead Space. As a prequel of the original, Extraction allows the player to witness the beginning of the Marker's curse. The game also uses for the first time a different gameplay perspective, Extraction is a first person on rail shooter. Extraction starts with a small group of miners on a errand to extract the Marker from Aegis VII. Shortly after the extraction begins everyone begins to suffer hallucinations leading then to discover the horror of those that come in contact with the markers. One week later. Mcneill, which is working on the case of the incident meets Sgt Weller which is serving now on the Ishumura, after a briefly introduction, they discover that the entire colony is infected with something and is attacking everyone on sight. Upon sweeping some floors, Necromorphs starts to pilled up, forcing then to change strategy and fight for survival. Dead Space Extraction on PS3 offers the same experience from the original with upgraded graphics, a title that I really recommend to all Dead Space fans, specially now that one of the best franchises from last gen is in Limbo. Popular Post voodoo_eyes
#293 - The Count Lucanor One of the worst running games on PS4, if not the worst. The continuous lag makes this barely playable. Worse is only the amount of crashes this game has. Not to mention that they corrupt the game's save files. Then there's the auto-deletion of save files whenever you exit the game during the last third of the game. Furthermore the game is just bad in general. Gotta love that one patch note though "fixed missing issues", which to me means nothing but added issues that the game didn't have before. Well, thanks for that I guess. Kishnabe
Platinum #213: BigFest (PSV) Finished this before Server Closure and NA Delisted. Every Band being at 50 Vibe made is frustrating.....being so high up they are so stuck up. Can't put them in supporting roles without them making a fuss. Lower Excitement, less money made. Did not get as far as the VIP tokens section. Spooktacula levels recommended for Money grinding ( Werewolves drop up to 1.5 k, Vampires drop up to 800). You can also AFK when Manager has instructions. You can leave on and check every 30 minutes. You should earn 10-15k every 30 min. Though after a while it drops to less than 1000 every 30 minutes...because of clogged toilets and garbage everywhere. Probably would have had a better experience If I played this day 1. 5/10 Enjoyment 3/10 Rating
Popular Post Eli_bloodthirst
#64 - God Of War (2018) father and son Well I came back from retirement sorta? I mean life got in the way and I hadn't gotten anything really since feb but I thought hey why not. I got a platinum the only way I knew. From semihard games that'll get me going. Enjoyment: 8/10 - Well the game didn't really involve me backtracking enough for me to get bored and the story blossomed quite far in terms of the relationship bond between father and son. I thoroughly enjoyed the things to do in the game and nothing ever seemed that too hard and unenjoyable. Difficulty: 4/10 - It was pretty simple tbh nothing overly challenging other than a couple muspelheim challenges and 3 of the valkyries (my god they're cheap) but it wasn't anything I couldn't handle with some vaseline and a good time. 9/10 best in series would recommend. What shall I go for next?

After playing a few games and couldn't decide which one was going o be it, I decided it isn't worth the headache and played this today. I actually found it to be a fun little game. It wasn't as easy as I was expecting as I did struggle a little bit. Nothing to hard but it took more attempts than I was expecting.

Guest
Detroit Become Human #2 Masterpiece of the genre. I think the developers had in mind that you see every side of the story, rather than play it through for trophies. Because getting the plat is complicated... Technically I believe you could get it in 2 full playthroughs; I didn’t. The story is worth it, whatever you do to get it all. A great experience. The gameplay was flawless and the characters were the best I’ve encountered in any game so far. The idea of androids in a video game is so perfect since game characters are computerized anyway. Its also fun to be able to interact with great human actors. It all seemed so real... I love the ‘effect’ or attitude exhibited by all... I can’t put my finger on it other than to say I was mesmerized and captivated the whole way through. Extremely well done and enjoyable. Beautiful. Not to be missed. Worth having a PS4 imo. Popular Post RedRodriguez87
Platinum Trophy A super quicky plat I felt the need to get again, seeings as to how I had it on my old account. Yeah, game sucks. No glitches or bugs or whatever, but bare-bones platforming, lame combat, voice-actors who CLEARLY do not give a shit, and overall the aesthetic of an obviously cheap cash-in. Unlike almost every movie-based game I played before, this one makes NO attempt to either give us a robust and/or polished experience, or at least bring something unique to gaming. So instead, I'll talk just a bit about the movie. It... well, it had potential. I mean, what's here isn't terrible or even bad, but it could've been so much more. The movie starts out giving us a glimpse into the main character and his acceptance of being a villain, which seems like it could have been a fun direction a hero movie could take. We also had an interesting side-plot of a hero who may not have been so eager to be a hero after all, and finally an antagonist who wants to be a hero for the wrong reasons. Really, there is a good story in here. But then the obvious love interest in introduced, and you quickly see where this is going. The MC is gonna turn good, "get the girl" (a phrase the movie LOVES to use), and beat the bad guy. It also has a lot of the dumber "for kids" tropes in movies that are peeves of mine; the shallow pop-culture references (in this case the music), trying to hard to have hip dialogue the same hero's journey story beats (when it starts happening), the transition between clever adult humor and for little kiddie stupid humor. But again, not one of Dreamwork's worst. So... yeah, that's about it. Movie is an OK watch, game sucks.

Popular Post Valinor90
#28 Call of Juarez: Bound in Blood Ace of Spades Collect all other trophies. Finally after almost 8 years I've done it ? still mixed feeling about this game! On the one hand it has an interesting story with different perspectives but it also creates an intriguing world, on the other hand its often quiet repetitive (especially on the higher difficulty settings)! I can't really say anything about the MP cause it was already dead when I was attempting these trophies, so I ended up boosting them. In the end, I'm not sure if its the platinum trophy im most proud of or a game I've spent way too much time with
Popular Post Yoey_666
#261 - Overcooked 2 This game was really fun - as expected. I played this completely in coop with my wife and we had a lot of fun. But for a game with this pricetag I think the content you get is a bit low. The story is really fast finished, even with 3 stars in every level and in comparism to the first game, this one is a lot easier. Also - in my opinion - there could‘ve been some more meals to cook. The online VS and Arcade mode is cool too but it seems like there are not much players online right now. Anyway, a really cool and really fun game !
Popular Post GraniteSnake
#66: Final Fantasy XIII 8 years and 3 months later, I can finally say that I’ve got the platinum on one of my favourite games of all time ? I hadn’t touched the game in about 6 years until I finally decided to load it up again after completing XIII-2. With 55 hours played, I originally had a lot of the work done. Loading up my old save, I figured out what I needed to grind and it went by a lot faster than I thought. Gained a multitude of platinum ingots from the Adamantoise’s, along with 3/4 trapezohedron’s before I finally had enough and went on to 5 star the remaining Cie’th Stone missions. All I had to do now was farm Dark Matter’s, and that was over within 30 minutes, with my last 3 battles dropping 3 straight Dark Matters ? Dismantling a Genji Glove granted me my final Trap, along with the platinum! Definitely one of my favourite ‘s, something my younger self never thought possible!
Popular Post Undead Wolf
#215 - Steins;Gate 0 To the Promised Place 100% Completed Steins;Gate 0. I love the original Steins;Gate (VN + the anime) and I can say without a doubt that this game is a worthy addition to the plot. Some really great moments, and I adore the new characters, especially Maho (legal loli FTW!). I had to suspend my disbelief a few times due to how certain plot points in 0 weren't even mentioned in the first game, but I can forgive that given how they never intended to make a sequel. The only thing that bothered me about the game was how the localisation team swapped the first and last names of characters around to make it more western. Oh, and they really liked using the word "evidently" because it's everywhere. These are just nitpicks, though. Great game and I look forward to watching the anime.
