Popular Post NorbR338055
#13: Ratchet & Clank Enjoyment: 8/10 Difficulty: 3/10 Loved it! Good old fashioned gaming fun. Just what the doctor ordered. I really should play more of this kind of games. The game is fun throughout, rather easy for the most part, though the final boss gave me quite a bit of trouble. That and the hoverboard races, one of them is quite tricky. Challenge mode was awesome, I usually don't much like multiple playthroughs but I was happy to do this one, with all the weapons on hand it's really fun to revisit the early areas, and be showered in bolts. A bit of grind at the end to upgrade all weapons, but nothing terrible, well worth doing for a fun and easy platinum in the end. (And yes, I know I said 'fun' a lot. That's how fun the game was ^^)

Popular Post DamagingRob
#335- Unravel The Red thread Collect all trophies Despite it sounding like I was "playing Super Meat Boy or something" while going for those no death runs, I actually rather enjoyed this. Just don't do well with the pressure those types of trophies come with. Lol. But this is a very fun and unique 2D platformer, with stunning visuals. It's like you're actually outside. Highly recommend. Spoiler
Popular Post ukiukimidnite
Platinum 23 - Bad Apple Wars I liked it overall, but it started to drag a bit towards the end. The story is overall interesting. It could benefit from a bit more variety in the routes though. I preferred the Prefect routes to the Bad Apple routes. Not amazing, but definitely not bad.

Popular Post KawaiiSlowpoke
#3 - Persona 4 Golden (vita) Golden Completed Earn all Trophies Spoiler Man after wanting to play Golden for 6 years I finally played it and got the plat for it. Golden came out when I was a freshman in high school so I literally did not have the money to get a vita so I was content with my ps2 version that I played a couple years beforehand. I have not touched Persona 4 since I beat it on the ps2 back in 2010 and let me tell you....god it was so good to get back to this game. Given playing it a second time IMMEDIATELY after to get the plat was not so enjoyable, but Im glad I did it. All the social links were really lovely (except Naoto's is always a disappointment imo)
Popular Post Caldor2K2
#109 - Mega Man X Legacy Collection Back when this collection was first announced, I knew right away that I was going to buy it. Having been a huge fan of the original Mega Man series, I was in awe with the first game in the X series. Maybe it was just the wow factor of seeing what the SNES did that the NES couldn't. I'm sure that everyone can relate, seeing their favorite game series move to new hardware (although not always a good thing). The overall formula of the games didn't change much, defeat 8 bosses and maybe a sub-boss here and there, and enter the final area. A few changes such as X starting out really wimpy with about 50% maximum energy capacity, along with upgrades to find around the levels made things interesting. Oddly enough, he seems to put away all his upgrades from game to game and has to find them again. I mean seriously, the fighting continued after the first game, so all that gear is still needed, and starting the second game he's default again lol. The X games are also connected with a storyline (which eventually gets harder to follow) as compared to the original where Dr. Wily builds some robots to take over the world, Mega Man stops him, he avoids going to prison and repeats. This collection has the first 4 games on it, while the second part has the other 4 games. The X games aren't exactly easy, but if you've never played them or are die hard platformer fans who want to test their skills, you should check it out. And 8 games for the price of one, it probably won't break the bank too bad.

I'm sure that everyone can relate, seeing their favorite game series move to new hardware (although not always a good thing). Always gets me when people say "back when this happened" as if it had occurred years ago. Not too impressed that this has two platinums and yet the first two Mega Man collections don't, and I consider those games to be more difficult as was most of everything back in the NES era. Honestly this makes me wish we had old games from Konami and other Japanese developers who made SNES games to get ported to the PS4, but that's likely never going to happen. There's a lot of great games from the NES generation to the Playstation 2 generation that haven't gotten modern touchings or at the very least get ported over to modern consoles. Bit of a shame really. I definitely enjoyed the first three Megaman X games growing up, but the newer ones I am completely unfamiliar with. So that should be fun when I play them in the coming weeks, depending on how busy I will be with some of the games I'm playing right now.

Popular Post Aeir_
#54 God of War Really enjoyed this game and am looking forward to NG+. My favorite part was the well written dialogue, especially between Kratos and Atreus. I never got tired of listening to them talk. I won't say too much more since so many others have already praised this game, but I would definitely recommend it. Makes me want to get a PS4 pro though, since my normal PS4 was in rocket mode the entire time.
Popular Post Bumperklever
#70 Guacamelee! STCE (PS4) Guacamelee! Platinum trophy Date Achieved: 14 August 2018 Rarity: Very Rare (9-10%) Enjoyment: 9/10 I cannot declare my love for Guacamelee! enough and this is just a better version of it. I enjoy, just like the original, the combat and platforming sections. It is a good mix of can be challenging while still being doable and still rewards skill above anything else. But I still think that the game is a tad easy for me, and NO I think the Tule Tree orb is easy... As for the added STCE content: I was scared of the el infierno challenges, but they seemed a dumbed down version of the original with easier criteria. And both new areas, while not being my favorite, extended the game a lot. The costumes were (even though they were also added as DLC in the original) really fun to try out. But in general nothing too special was added, but they were nice editions. --------------------------> NOW IT IS TIME FOR GUACAMELEE! 2!!!!!!! Edit: Since Im replaying guacamelee original version, I must say that this game looks much better and is way more fun to play through because of that, therefore is a bit painfull to play through the original version... Popular Post OobiGod
Platinum #6 CARTOON NETWORK PUNCH TIME EXPLOSION XL (Digital Version) Punchtime Explosion Pro Earn all trophies People always say "PS All Stars Battle Royale was a smash clone". It was, but at least it was more original. This is just smash but with a bad story mode. The combat somehow feels worse than smash. Percentages don't feel as clear so knockback physics feel insane. No poofs for getting hit. just knocked back however much. The story mode has some of the most bland presentation ever so I skipped most of it. Oh btw story mode is kinda bullshit so if I were you as soon as you get blossom start maining her. Her neutral special is incredibly good for combos with a combination of jab. The trophy list is fine aside from a few VERY ANNOYING luck heavy ones. Anything involving a synergy assist is minutes worth of boring grinding. Using 2 controllers helps immensely in these sections and the beat ____ with _______ 10 times sections as well. I paid a dollar digitally for this game last year. Now I would say pick it up for that price but it got fucking delisted... This game is not worth 10 dollars. 1-5 bucks at most. Peace out not sure what my next plat will be. Tools of Destruction is pretty fun so far but that has no trophies (yet I'm still there trying to level up my weapons to 5 lmao)
Popular Post Meachamp-
GOD OF WAR #28 and 1337 trophy Time to Platinum: 30 hours | Difficulty: 3/10 | Enjoyment: 10/10 I think I stand with the majority of people when it comes to this game. Which is this game is absolutely brilliant. It really is. The huge change in gameplay from the previous game would have avid fans on edge but it works so well. The series has come a long way and I honestly think it will get better as it goes forward. There is a lot of stuff going on in this game. Like you get so much information it actually is overwhelming. I will say the next sentences I will be saying will be spoilers for the game. Nothing heavy because in case you want to read some thoughts though. Spoiler Overview I'm literally only going to post what everyone knows of the story from the trailers and from tiny stuff you have read on sites everywhere. Upon starting the game you are chopping down wood to build a pyre for Kratos' wife? i'm going to assume so, there wasn't anything specific mentioned (that I can remember anyway) with your son Atreus. Upon completing the task, Kratos takes Atreus hunting to see how well he can survive and I guess bond. Upon completing that task, it's basically a tutorial on how to work everything. You return home, after a chat with Atreus a stranger knocks on the door.. Gameplay Take everything you know from the previous games and improve them 100x and brutalise them 100x and everything else and 100x it. The gameplay is brilliant in this game. A lot of it is your basic traversing, puzzles etc but where it shines is combat. I think that's pretty much obvious when it comes to God of War. There's a shit ton of variety when it comes the gameplay. The more you level up the more you have access to and the flow of it all just makes it so much fun. I don't think I ever got bored in one fight. Stringing everything together makes it so much more rewarding than just spamming the buttons. Obviously you can spam but it's so much better if you were tactical. Like you could heavy someone put them in the air and then spam them with light attacks to keep them in the air. You can hit people, pause a moment to change stance and then attack again and it does different area attacks. Like I said, there is a ton of moves and ways to play this game so finding your best combination is so rewarding. Another big factor when it comes to combat and how useful Atreus is. He is actually really really useful. Especially when you level up his bow. He can stun enemies so quick giving you time to run in and do finishers on them. Then there is the combined attacks where you can hit people and then Atreus will fly in off your shoulders basically Legolassing the shit out of people. Everything else is brillaint. The areas are quite big to explore an there's all sorts of puzzles and ways to go about it. Nothing to serious in terms of puzzles but fun regardless. Traversing is cool, nothing different that most games really. Move along then press circle to move to the next section etc. Characters Now in the previous posts I've done about God of War in here I've always said this game is about Kratos and everyone else is in the way. Thankfully, this time around there's a lot more characters and all of them are actually quite likeable. Even the bad guys honestly. Kratos this time is borderline quiet protagonist. He speaks all the time don't get me wrong but the main person who communicates with people is Atreus. Kratos is actually quite calm in comparison. Like he's matured and everything he's done in the past he's finally sat down and thought about all of the consequences. You can tell it haunts him. He's actually very wise in this game, very wise. He probably could of used his own advice half the time in the previous games. He's still got his temper though and you see it in some scenes, especially with "stranger" and other choreographed fights. Atreus is literally the guy who speaks to everyone. He tries to impress his father constantly and to be honest. His attitude shifts a hell of a lot in the game. He starts off quiet and shy at the start. Then after a certain event he becomes really arrogant and cocky. Then he becomes moody and cocky finally followed by respect for everything. It's a bit of an emotional rollercoaster when it comes to this kid but I must say a very very good character. The kid who played him done a great job if you ask me. There's a few more characters I could go into detail about but it would be quite spoiler heavy so I won't do that, since those are the main 2 I'll go with that. I could speak about "head" but he's pretty much a spoiler as well but all I will say is, he's the know it all of the lands. When travelling around the lake he tells stories about the lands history. He's got some great tales and I literally could sit there and listen to them all day. The Norse mythos in this game is so interesting. Trophies Nothing to difficult really, there isn't a difficulty one. (Count your lucky stars, the game is tough on the higher difficulties) There's a lot of story ones. It's basically your typical God of War trophy list. Upgrade your health max, Upgrade your rage. Upgrade your axe and yeah not going to say what else. Kill 1000 enemies, will be easy obtained throughout the story and grinding for mist echoes. DRAGONS! Side quests for spirits and the Dwarves. The majority though are a lot of collectables. I guess the trials of Musphelheim is your arena trophy like in the previous games. If you manage to get yourself to Level 8 you'll walk it. You'll have to go through it anyway because they're is Valkyrie at the end and these are some badass side bosses. Especially the final one. That was a great fight. Overall nothing too difficult. That's why it's an uncommon one. I wonder if NG+ will add any in. Conclussion It's a soft reboot of the franchise but only where it comes to style of game and combat and blah blah blah. It is an actual continuation of the other games but everything else is different. Although, you could play through this game without having to see the other games, in my own personal opinion. Knowing the old side of Kratos and his event's really does make you feel a lot more towards specific events in this game. I have no doubt not even scratched the surface of what I really wanted to say but everything is just too spoiler heavy so I guess I've done the best I could. What I will finish with is, this game has some of the best boss fights in video games if you ask me. The final fight was so epic, all of the boss fights are amazing they really are but I literally had goosebumps on that final fight. It's something you've got to experience yourself.

Popular Post RedRodriguez87
Master of the Hunt Yet ANOTHER game I had on an old account that I re-obtained. This was actually the first Cabela game I played as well as platted, and honestly, thanks to this and the other one I played, African Adventures, it's the reason I keep an eye out for Cabela games. It's essentially 1st-person shooter dedicated to hunting, meaning you gotta track, call, wait out and snipe animals. The frame-rate is choppy, and the character models are really awkward in motion, but the game-play is really fun, and the scenarios switch up enough that it never gets boring. So yeah, what's next on my list that I can actually afford?

So is still a really good coop game to have fun, mess around, yell at each other, and nothing like being in a punching distance while playing ?. I really enjoyed playing it with @HailHale81, twice ? and hope there is some dlc coming to play more! #337 - The Sims 4 Ultimate Sim GuruEarn all trophies I used to play the first one a lot when I was younger, so it was cool to play this again, although it took me a bit to get used to the controllers. The only part I dislike and took me forever was the generations and the damn triplets trophies ?. I gotta say I do feel this is more a pc game or at least better to play at, cause I felt here it didnt run as smooth, specially if trying to accelerate time.
