Popular Post Dragon-Archon
#186: Ratchet & Clank (Reboot) I finally got around to playing this game, got it with the PS4 over a year ago. This game retells the events from the first game, but changes some things. There are some new characters and Nefarious and the Galactic Rangers are introduced too (those originally made a debut in the third game). The game looked amazing. I also liked how the sound of combat and music was almost muted while being underwater, which added to the feeling. Then there was the whole narrated approach of the game, where Qwark recounts the events with some hilarious parts. This was also a good way to incorporate hints into the game. The maps of some worlds felt identical to the ones from the first game, which was great. I just wish some of the new characters were fleshed out a bit. I wouldn't mind seeing more reboots like these, though a new game would be better.

Popular Post Viper
#129 Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel (PS4)Borderlands Defender Round 1.5 This was a stack as I platted the PS3 version back in 2014. Still love this game...will never understand why it gets so much hate. While Borderlands 2 is one of my favorite games of all time...in some ways this game plays better. It opened up the lore for the series so much, and adds gameplay elements such as Buttslams, Cryo Elements and Laser weapons, that there series HAS to have going forward. So beyond ready for Borderlands 3 at this point. Edited August 21, 2018 by Viper
Popular Post Vrisnem
Dead or Alive Xtreme 3: Fortune DOAX3 Master This took me far more in-game hours than I'll ever care to admit. My old flatmate used to look at me in disgust whenever she saw me playing this game. I wonder how she'd react if she knew I was still playing it over two years later? I almost gave up with it several times as it is such a grind and could've benefitted from more mini games (they removed the coolest ones from the previous instalment ) but it was bugging me that such an easy game was just sat there on my list unfinished! Seeing that plat pop was like a huge weight had been lifted.
Popular Post Gommes_
Zero Time Dillemma - #93 Zero Escape I actually got this game before it was free on PS Plus ?. Anyway, I wanted to play that eventually, cause I really liked Virtue's Last Reward. While Zero Time Dilemma had better visuals and an overall better presentation it never really clicked with me. I thought it was a good story but it lacked the huge surprises and shocks. Maybe because the game starts pretty early with some graphic violence and murder within the first hour. I saw the overall topic of Zero Time Dilemma in countless other mediums but they were mostly executed in a better way. Overall it was a good VN but nothing outstanding, especially if you know the predecessor and/or other stories with a similar theme.

Popular Post voodoo_eyes
#295 - Energy Invasion I have some fond memories of Arkanoid, so I thought I'd pick this up. Ended up regretting it, as it's a fairly bad clone that resets your progress if you decide to quit the game. Enjoyment: 2 Difficulty: 3

Popular Post black__bunny
#36 Dead Rising 2 Earned in 3 years & 7 months (2.27% rarity) Another plat that has been a long time coming. I cant even remember how many playthroughs I ended up doing but I was much more than I should have done if I had organised myself better. Most of the trophies aren't too difficult, but there are quite a lot of grindy tasks and collectables (which carry over thank god). The game is quite unforgiving until you level up which can take a little while. The mp trophies were simple enough as long as you can get a good group and a decent partner for the co-op. The worst trophy by far is grinding out those 72,000 kills in one playthrough. I had a few attempts at the 72 hour method but found I always came up short due to the lack of room for error. 93 hour method is much easier, pretty much guaranteed and actually less time consuming given the attempts I made doing the former method. I never played the first game but I still had plenty of fun playing 2 and would recommend it to any zombie loving gamer. Also, its good to add another UR plat to my collection Edited August 22, 2018 by black__bunny

Popular Post Dragon-Archon
#187: Cyberdimension Neptunia 4 Goddesses Online Due to this game being a parody of Sword Art Online, it piqued my interest. In this game the main characters are selected for the beta of the MMO 4 Goddesses Online. The game was entertaining, but the digital version has an issue where it would randomly close the game and also made it impossible to move around during boss fights. This latter bug meant not being able to dodge and having to rely on blocking. The game is on the short side, so bosses are recycled a lot for quests.

Popular Post Vrisnem
Plague Inc: Evolved Fully Evolved I can still hear the zombie noises from the Necroa Virus scenario echoing in my head even 20 minutes after turning the PS4 off. "BLEEGGGH! BLEEEGGGH!" Blegh, I don't even like zombies and of course that is the one I got stuck on for hours on mega-brutal difficulty! But playing this game took me back ten years to fond memories of evenings spent on MSN with my high school friends playing the Pandemic flash game and racing to see who could beat the game first and cursing Madagascar.

Popular Post Zangril
#58 Tekken 7 Difficulty: 1/10 Enjoyment: 9/10Rarity: 32.33% (Uncommon) I wasn't originally going to get this platinum next but I've been watching fighting game videos on Youtube and I got that itch to play a fighting game. So I sat down and grinded out the last 21 trophies I needed for this platinum. It was still just as fun as I remembered it being when it first came out.
Popular Post Sergen
Injustice: Gods Among Us (PS3): Platinum #120 Difficulty: 2/10 Time Taken: 30-40 hours This is now my 4th and final time earning this platinum, I am glad it's over. I can say doing back to back Injustice platinums wasn't a great idea, because this game bored me this time around. It was incredibly easy to do it now, as I'd done it 3 times previously. The only difference between this version and the others is the fact that I didn't have any of the DLC, so the Impossible Battle did consist only of base game opponents, but that didn't make it difficult whatsoever. S.T.A.R. Labs were all a big joke because recently doing the vita version made me aware of what I had to do every time I attempted a mission, on vita I had forgotten some of the requirements of the missions because I hadn't played the game since October last year before playing it on vita. This version was very comfortable to play with the dualshock 3 and it was good that none of the touchscreen crap was in the game this time. Here's looking forward to the PS5 remaster with the same trophy list

Popular Post Zach
#102 Assassin's Creed IV Black Flag Enjoyment: 8.5/10 Difficulty: 3/10 Time: 40-45hrs Assassin's Creed IV Black Flag is a truly fun.....pirate game. It does not feel Assassin's "Creedy" at all. There are some missions towards the end that pay homage towards the older games, but most of the game is Edward Kenway starting as a lowly pirate, and turning into a respectable force to reckoned with. Edward is very selfish and standoffish at the beginning, but with hard work he easily becomes one of my favorite characters in the whole series. The ship battles are fan-fucking-tastic. I'm so glad they realized the potential after Assassin's Creed III's ship gameplay and decided to make a game of it. However, what made this game a 8.5/10 instead of being a 9 or higher, is the DAMN TAILING MISSIONS. This game has the most tailing missions in the whole damn series. Which is a shame too because the story was arguably one of the best in the series! Anyways.... Final Verdict: Play the game! You will not be sorry. Even if you're tired of the Assassin's Creed games, this is kind of its own thing.
