Popular Post Crzy Minus
#57 Uncharted: The Lost Legacy Don't Ruin The Moment The story is very average and the level design is weaker in comparison with Uncharted 4 despite the same combat. I'd say this game is for the people who love the characters from prior games who are in this game and female fans, and that's about it. Popular Post Bullstomp
The Voice "Completionist" 4.92% Ultra Rare Difficulty - 8 Fun Factor - 6 Ok so I am the 16th person tracked on this site who platinumed this game. Which would be more impressive if there were more than 305 owners! WARNING: The "fan" trick will NOT work on this game. If you cannot hold a long note, harmonize or use vibrato, steer clear. The song list is a mixed bag, some really fun songs and some REALLY STANK songs(30 songs total). To get the plat you have to get 90% on 20 songs and 95% on 16 songs. This means you will try to master songs that suck. Not to mentuon none of the songs are originals, they are all covers? Additionally, there is no in-game stat tracking. You really need to log your 90%s and 95%s in a notebook or risk losing track. Finally, the new retail version came with a pack-in USB microphone BUT you will need two microphones for the platinum. The good news though is the good songs are fun and there is no online that can get closed down. If you like singing games and don't mind a challenge (or being forced to master some songs that suck) this game is a good value. Not to mention I LOVE the platinum name (Completionist).?
Popular Post Dragon-Archon
#188: Batman I've never been a fan of Batman, so when this game came to PS+ I played it with no expectations. It turned out to be quite nice, especially the stuff about Bruce Wayne's parents. Don't know if any of that is canon, but it sure was interesting. Some characters were familiar from movies and others were new for me. Quite a few villains appear and the identity of the main villain was a real surprise. I did not see that coming. The ending sets things up for a sequel, which I'll definitely give a try some day. I've read some horror stories about the game crashing and being unplayable. Luckily, I didn't have any of those issues. Only in episode 2 there were a couple of completely black backgrounds and characters were looking in awkward directions during a few conversations. 9 hours ago, Zach said: Assassin's Creed IV Black Flag is a truly fun.....pirate game. It does not feel Assassin's "Creedy" at all. I agree, it's more a Pirate's Creed. Ubi should've used this as the start of a "new" IP. Popular Post Cave Johnson
Dark Souls II The Dark Soul Acquire all trophies Now there's just one stack left to get: Demon's Souls (EU). It'll probably be a while before I feel like doing it again, though. Anyway, I had a great time going through Dark Souls II again. It has its problems, (soul memory...) but it's still a damn good game. I like Dark Souls and Demon's Souls more, but Dark Souls II is above Dark Souls III and Bloodborne in my personal ranking of the series. Heresy, I know. I tried to help people online this time, but not many people are still playing the PS3 version it seems. Despite that, there was no shortage of people that needed help on Smelter Demon. Of the 17 sunlight medals I got, 15 were from that boss. For the bell keeper covenant, I had to kill the NPC 29 times. I had the ring on the entire time, but it only found one person to invade... Also, I only got invaded a few times throughout the whole game. It only happened in Iron Keep while I was waiting to be summoned, too. One guy actually invaded me (I killed him) then summoned me a few minutes later to help him beat Smelter Demon, lol.

Popular Post Mapa
#338 - Homefront: The Revolution Homefront: The RevolutionComplete all other trophies to unlock I enjoyed the campaign, except that I needed to repeat it cause one of the strike points glitched so I couldnt finished it. The mp coop was very glitchy and graphics didnt look that good, but glad I got to play with @HailHale81, made it more enjoyable. ? #339 - Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice DoneCollect all of the other trophies Highly recommended. It can get a bit intense at some points, but it is really a good game, a must play. Is very interesting how they created the story and puzzles related to someone with psychosis, they actually got deep into the aspects of it, very interesting. Popular Post grimydawg___
122 Difficulty: 3/10 Enjoyment 4/10 I'm extremely disappointed in the gameplay this year. I'm glad I was able to get this for free. Just look up YouTube videos of the nonsense in why I didn't enjoy the experience this year. Despite this, the grind wasn't too bad, maybe 25-30 hours of actual gameplay to get the platinum. I have all platinum trophies of the Madden series. So, that's a plus. I'm expecting my Shenmue collection to come later on today. I will continue the NBA 2K18 grind, but I won't overdue myself. I need to figure out what to go for next Edited August 23, 2018 by grimydawg
Popular Post madbuk
#270 - Uncharted 4: A Thief's End This might be my favourite Uncharted game. Definitely my favourite of the console ones. The balance between gameplay elements here was much more to my taste than the original trilogy. There's plenty of climbing (still brain dead simple, but oh well), puzzles (also brain dead, but oh well), exploring, and the story here was the best of them. Also has the best trophy art of the franchise, though that's not really a high standard at all. Unlike the other games which were generic treasure hunts for the magical mcguffin, this story felt a lot more character-driven, which works to its favor. The relationship between Elena and Nate and the tests that the relationship is put through are interesting, I liked seeing what everyday life is like for Drake outside of mass murdering entire military groups, and it delves into his urge to slaughter people by showing him playing with toy guns and targets and treating it like a real combat scenario. I do think the story could've been better in certain aspects, but it's much better than the generic stuff that came before it. The combat scenarios in this felt a little off balance. Crushing in this was a complete chore because the game has a larger emphasis on stealth, but doesn't give you enough tools to stealth reliably. You can't get back into hiding on crushing, enemies notice you incredibly fast, and if you get spotted you get thrown into a long, drawn out shootout with shooting mechanics that feel a bit odd compared to the other games. I made it to chapter 13 on crushing before dropping the difficulty and then using tweaks for chapter 13 onwards later. Combat certainly isn't the highlight here, but that was always the least interesting part of Uncharted's gameplay to me anyway so it getting worse doesn't really disappoint me much. They improved the gameplay elements I actually care about - climbing, puzzles, exploring - and that more than makes up for it. The multiplayer in this was horrific though. It's entirely built around a pay to win formula and Naughty Dog continue to patch and nerf strategies to further push their pay to win mechanics on people. It's incredibly shitty and I don't understand why they keep getting a free pass to do shit like this. Battlefront 2 fell apart due to their microtransactions so why didn't this game? Big thanks to RealLadyCroft's PSN community for helping with the co-op and I can easily recommend it for anyone looking to finish up the online.

ukiukimidnite
Platinum 25 - Little Adventure on the Prairie I'm feeling generous, so I'll describe this as an abomination. It's a very very quick and easy platinum, but it's not enjoyable at all. I got it because it was £1.49, but that was £1.49 too much. It's like a worse version of free Flash games I used to play at school years ago. Just not free. Thankfully, I didn't complete it in one sitting, so it won't be forever staring at me from my Trophy Milestones (Goosebumps is my current Fastest Platinum and I actually enjoyed it).

Popular Post PooPooBlast
#110 Yakuza 0 I just want to say that this game kicks all sorts of ass! Words can't describe how great this game is. My GOTY for 2018 for sure ( by that I mean it's my favourite game I've played in 2018 and I know it came out in 2017 in NA). This was my first entry in the series and I must say it surprised me in many many ways. I did not expect such a coherent and heartwarming story. So much so I was on the verge of crying during a pivotal moment in the story. They created such a believable cast with believable motivations and personalities. The characters in this world are very nuanced and well thought-out and this is where the game shines a lot. For instance seeing how Majima cared so much about Makoto in the end that he just let go of her so that he doesn't pull her down in his Yakuza life had me almost tearing up just because it hit home and resonated with me. Lol though one thing that had me rolling was the amount of times that I had to teach KUUZZEH a lesson throughout the game. I fought this man 5 times . . I'd say my favourite among the lieutenants is Awano. Something about the enigmatic grin of his gets me all the time man. In terms of the gameplay you're looking at a ginormous amount of minigames and substories that will seriously side-track you. What's that? your friend needs saving? Oh but I need to bet on cat-fights dammit! Okay fine! Instead, I'll go watch a quick sexy video first and give lessons to a donimatrix on how to dominate a masochistic male . Okay time now to go. OH shoot! Is that... ( don't click the spoiler if you're planning on playing this game miracle Johnson aka the discount Michael Jackson? . One of my favourite moments in the game was beating up zombies for a song shoot for MJ hahaha. . So many minigames, so many quirky substories, it is very easy to lose track of time doing them! AND THE DIALOGUES . MY GOODNESS I could write an entire book about how hilarious they can be hahahah. Here's one of my favourites LOL these were kids trolling a 30 year old pocket circuit racer hahahah In terms of plat times you're looking at about 140 hours! My time came out to be 159 but however I noticed that the counter was running despite pausing it. Did I also mention how fantastic the music can be? Seriously, theres a reason why I enjoyed Disco and Karoake sooooo much in this game. Here are a selection that were among my favourites! Spoiler Such a sad beautiful song, sung by Kiryu! Hype song while breaking crates in Ms Tatsu's training Two words!! MYSTERIOUS HITMAN Soooooo groovy The best part starts at 1:39 imo and when it feels great to hear in a battle. It's not my favourite but it is decent! I can definitely see a rocky montage of him training to this song One of the best Disco songs! Loved it even though I lost repeatedly to a dance battle when this song was playing Epic karoake track with Nishki taking lead! Love this for being so catchy and also Chika . I only love this because of Majima EPIC Another EPIC With that said, I had a huuuuge blast with this game and I can proudly say I'm a new fan! The only regret I have is that I wish I started the series sooner! I'm definitely going to start Kiwami next. Just need to recharge my batteries a little after playing this nonstop for a full 4 weeks Edited August 24, 2018 by PooPooBlast
Popular Post Dark Layla
#131- Guacamelee 2Fantastic, fun and challenging! is what i can say of this magnificent sequel, exceeded my expectations! A game with enough humor and several references for example of the controversy of memes of the first game (I will not use spoiler) By the contrary to what someone may think this sequel has more action and smarter enemies than in the first game, playing hard mode is the good exampleIn addition to having good bosses and in no way are difficult compared to the parts of the fight that the players will find throughout story.Completing all the main key pieces is a huge challenge, drinkbox did a good homework in my opinion.A good soundtrack a bit in the image of the first game, I leave a small reference to a song that i think is very beautiful (a little to match that level) Spoiler Obviously being this "indie" game one of my favorites, if i hadn't 100% I ran the risk of being sent to the other worldor be punished by the new world order ? Hasta la vista muchacho ?

Popular Post Dragon-Archon
#189: Dust: An Elysian Tail Another PS+ freebie and a very good example of indie games that work perfectly. You play as Dust: a person that doesn't remember anything and is found by a mysterious, talking sword. The sword guides Dust to recover his memories, all the while hinting it knows more than it tells. The sword's guardian, Fidget, is a great source of comic relief. It reminded me of Daxter from Naughty Dog's Jak series, both in terms of appearance and the bragging. Enemies in chapter 4 and 5 are very strong on Tough difficulty, so defeating them took a while. When doing a clean up before finishing the story, I got enough money and items to create the best equipment, which came with lots of multipliers for Fidget's attacks. They all stack, so that made it possible to breeze through them. Something I liked a lot about this game was being able to sell items that enemies drop. The stores would then add more of these items over time, which removed the need to waste time farming items. IMO more games should add this feature. The one flaw it has are the challenges: there are 6 obstacle courses that need to be cleared with a specific high score. The fourth challenge is by far the most annoying one due to the sliding mechanism not responding when trying to slide quickly, which results in Dust jumping instead. I really hope there will be a sequel (minus the challenges), as this game is fantastic.
