Popular Post PooPooBlast
#111 Yakuza Kiwami I mean what can I say, after playing Yakuza 0, I was never so hooked in a series since the batman arkham games so I immediately bought a copy! Another fantastic game, however in my opinion 0 was better from a story, substory, and soundtrack viewpoint. That's not to say that Yakuza Kiwami is a bad game , in fact it's fantastic! But it was just missing a few things that made 0 so wonderful such as more developed characters, a more complex story with more twists, and memorable substories. Kiwami's substories were geared more towards serious substories/ events that calls for an excuse to fight someone because that's how most of them ended up as lol. There were definitely a few gems however so they weren't all about fighting fighting and fighting. In terms of difficulty/ grindiness, it took me literally half the time to finish this game than I did with 0. My time came out to be about 73 hrs and 4.5 hours for the legend playthrough so it's just shy of 80 hours. Legend difficulty was a piece of cake once you're maxed out and you finished the climax battles because of the cheap reward you get lol. The only challenging thing was the escort mission but I somehow finished it in two tries. Then finally, there is a series of things you have to do ( I won't spoil it) and one of them was getting a 950/1000 score on a karoake song which was damn difficult! After about 10 tries I finally got it. My favourite soundtrack in this game was this: Gets my head nodding while beating up baddies lol. FEEL THE FORCE. Overall I was happy with this game and I have to cut it some slack as it's just a remake of the 2005 game so I understand that they can't change much with the story/ events versus 0 where it was basically a brand new game built from the ground up. I'm definitely looking forward to Yakuza Kiwami 2 now that it's out! However, I'm going to break a little before I continue with the series .
Popular Post DamagingRob
#340- Aer: Memories of Old Pilgrim Explore the Land of Gods. This is an exploration game with some light puzzles and platforming. Really short, easy, and relaxing. But that's about all it has going for it. Turning into a bird and flying around the world was kinda neat. Spoiler Gotta love those all white or black Platinum screenshots.

Popular Post Zach
#103 and 100% Assassin's Creed III Enjoyment: 8/10 Difficulty: 4.5/10 Time: 52hrs (Including DLC) This game had so much potential to be one of the best in the series. The story was good, and I loved Haytham Kenway and Charles Lee as the bad guys. My negatives for the characters/story was that Connor was boring and we needed more of Charles Lee. Charles Lee was very close to being my favorite antagonist in the series, but again, I needed more of him. With that being said, Crawford Starrick from AC Syndicate is still my favorite antagonist in the whole series. Now what made this a 8/10 instead of a 9 for me was the fact that the gameplay was buggy as shit, even to this day. I appreciated the new gameplay mechanics (an upgrade from the Ezio Trilogy), but it didn't work out as planned. I'm so glad that they perfected the gameplay in AC4. All and all, the game isn't too bad if you can look past the bugs. (Edit) P.S. I LOVED THE TIME PERIOD. I miss learning about the American Revolution in school. ? Popular Post DeathNyx
Persona 4 Golden Platinum N°70: Golden Completed Earn all trophies Enjoyment: 9 Difficulty: 7 Comment: After years off from the series I'm glad to have returned on this, i almost forgot how much this series is addictive. Definitely one of my favorite series ever, i had good memories of the PS2 version while playing Golden. Trophy list is perfect, well balanced not too hard and not too easy (few games are like this). A full 9. I've favorited this game alot over others, after more than 200 hours i can now take a break and plat other few games i left before start P5 but i've intention to start other playthorughs of Golden with my own fav choices now that i don't have to focus on trophies anymore. Popular Post jacks
Platinum #103 Yakuza 6: The Song Of Life The Song of Life Obtained all other trophies. Enjoyment: 10/10 Difficulty: 3/10 Most Annoying trophy: As much as I loved Clan Creator (even if I may be in the minority on that one), there's no reason to raise any of your leaders ranks to 99, and it just seemed like unnecessary busywork. Not going to lie -- I was a little burned out on the Yakuza franchise after 3. 3 being such a grueling platinum that was relentless in difficulty and time dedication, it was hard to go right into 4. I readily admit that I have only scratched the surface of 4 and not touched 5 yet, but I was so excited to see what the new Dragon engine looked like ahead of Yakuza Kiwami 2's release that I jumped right into this one. And this game kind of rekindled a lot of the fire I had with the franchise from playing the first 2 games on PS2; great side quests with some hilarious moments (as well as touching ones, as well) mixed with beating up tons of bad guys and a super serious story. On the matter of the story, it really contains an amazing final act that I don't think any fan of the series should miss, and the epilogue was fantastic as well. I know a lot of people were burned by this game being kind of a Yakuza-lite, in that half the content from the previous games seems to have disappeared. Even 35-40% of the trophies can be obtained in the opening chapters, and this kind of follows through with the rest of the game with only some slight grinding to max out your Kiryu (more so if you did it all in chapter 7 like I did). Compared to Yakuza 3, the difficulty of this platinum is basically a Telltale game, but trophies aside, it's a very enjoyable kind of care free list that you can just go along with for the ride without worrying about too much hassle. Overall, fantastic game. Yakuza 0 is one of the next ones on the list to play as I work through my Yakuza backlog (including Dead Souls).

Enjoyment: 9/10 campaign...5/10 Death Mode Difficulty: 5/10 (luck based) Worst Death Mode levels: Event Horizon #1, Thermogenica and Galaxanoids Well, Death Mode it´s done for good, it´s an annoying platinum because a lot of the death mode levels end up being luck based of if the notes/coins spawn in your favor. This can be frustrating sometimes. BECK RULES!!!! Spoiler Edited September 4, 2018 by fabiansc83

Popular Post Terra
#151 Thank You For Playing! Obtained all Trophies Difficulty: 3.5/10 Enjoyment: 6/10 Not much to say here. As a fan of the series, it would have been best to start with this one before Estival Versus and Peach Beach Splash because the story didn't really offer anything new that I didn't already know. Combat was alright but it had its problems. Locking on is hard to do because you have to aim right at your target and the Vita won't register the lock on unless you are precise. The camera was frustrating because the characters moved so fast that it took to long to move the screen, leaving me open to attack without seeing the enemy. The game is highly repetitive and completing all of the Shinobi Girl Missions was a tedious chore that lost its charm after I did Asuka's (my favorite girl). Overall, a good game, but flawed. I recommend the other two over this one.

Popular Post madbuk
#271 - Yakuza Kiwami 2 Just like Yakuza 0 and Yakuza Kiwami 1, this was a lot of fun. A lot of the returning minigames got an overhaul, some being beneficial (like batting), others making the minigame worse (like UFO Catcher.) This helped them feel fresher than they were in Kiwami 1 after playing 0. The combat in this, however, wasn't as good as it was in 0/Kiwami. Until very late game, it felt like Kiryu lacked a lot of basic abilities, which made dodging attacks/blocking attacks more annoying than before, and even with a maxed out Kiryu it still felt a little awkward controlling him during battle. There are barely any heat moves, and it puts a lot of emphasis on using weapons - but weapons have durability, a mechanic in games I hate, so you can't really use them freely. I missed the style system of the previous two games a lot. I'd also say this was probably the most difficult of the three Yakuza games I've done, because of the final 9 bouncer missions. They're garbage, the bosses in them aren't very well-designed and then you have to fight all 3 of them in a single mission and it becomes a bit of a mess with the new combat mechanics. The substories were better than Kiwami 1's, but 0 is still the best when it comes to that. There were still quite a few generic "beat bad guys, end mission" substories here with no real narrative payoff, which was a big problem in the first Kiwami. There are still plenty of interesting ones to balance it out though. The main story itself isn't flawless, but I enjoyed it a lot. The new characters are great, and it was good to see some characters from Kiwami 1 come back that I wasn't really expecting to see again. Majima's story was good too although I think it should've been a bit longer to flesh out the characters more. His combat also wasn't very interesting, but there was barely any combat with him so it's fine. I was disappointed he only had one karaoke song lol. I'm looking forward to seeing where this goes with Yakuza 3-6, and I already own 3-5, but it'll probably be a while before I get to 3. It's nice to have the opportunity to jump in whenever and not have to wait for a release date though.

Popular Post Yoey_666
#268 - The Witness Very cool puzzle game with a wonderful look. I like how you just get thrown into this game without knowing what is going on and just puzzle your way to the end. I was concerned about the „Challenge“ trophy because many people said this one makes the game a 9/10, but it only took me one hour, so I guess I just became lucky with the puzzles. Great game!
