Popular Post madbuk
#272 - Uncharted: The Lost Legacy This was okay. It has the best puzzles in the franchise, which isn't saying much but it's still a huge plus in the games favour. I'd love to see future games continue to add more puzzles and make them more complex. I really wasn't a fan of the large open chapter in this though, it was annoying to navigate and there wasn't really anything interesting to explore. It felt like they took the "Uncharted is too linear" complaint to heart and created an intentionally bland open area to shut people up. Thankfully it was only one chapter though and then it went back to being linear, which suits Uncharted best. The final chapter was also a boring retread of an already boring section from Uncharted 2, and the fights involving vehicles were more annoying than they were fun. Story was nothing special, but that's to be expected from an Uncharted game. Chloe was the best here she's ever been, in 2/3 she was very bland and one dimensional, seemingly only there for fanservice ("You're going to miss this ass") but delving into her backstory in this helped flesh her out and actually make her a character. Nadine also got some backstory and development, but it was nothing remarkable and didn't really add to her character much. Also with this I'm finally done with all 10 Uncharted games. I wonder if we'll see any more of these smaller adventures with side characters or whether the franchise really is over like they implied it was. The franchise as a whole has its ups and downs, sometimes leaning too far into the combat and not the puzzle/platforming side (2 was especially guilty of this), but other times getting the balance just right (like in 4 and Golden Abyss). Final ranking in terms of enjoyment would be 4 = Golden Abyss > Fight for Fortune > 1 > 3 > Lost Legacy > 2. I hated 2 the first time, hated it a little less the second time but it was still easily the worst. Also Elena > Chloe, fite me. Popular Post RavenousOutsider
DETROIT MASTER My tenth platinum. Man, I really love David cage games and this one just takes the cake for me. The story is really good, the characters are enjoyable and relatable save for a couple of them, but I really enjoyed my experience playing this game. Given that the trophies are very straight forward, I could've easily breezed through it, but why do that when I can just... Savor the game? #ConnorArmy
Popular Post Phantochi
#85 — THE WITCHER 3 definitely one of the best rpg's ever made, amazing storyline, with some great and memorable characters, but like every rpg, this one has many missable trophies, those are the worst, specially the card collector one, which you have to collect every gwent card to earn it. I lost exactly 1 freaking gwent card on my 1st playthrough, simple because i progress way to quickly with the main plot, and got a nice failed on the following the thread quest, which awards you with a card when you complete it. I had to replay the whole thing again, on speedrun mode, smashing square so people shut up. and going after the cards only, this took me about 12hours to finish. Besides that, the game is absolutely amazing, i will go for a 100%, but not now, play a lot of witcher recently, so i'll leave it for the future.

Popular Post FOOTBALLNUT
#100 One Last Time Collect All The Trophies Platinum on 18th August 2018 (3 months, 1 week) **********My Personal Gaming Enjoyment Experience********** Is "Uncharted 4: A Thief's End" really the "One Last Time" Nathan Drake's story? Ugh...I hope so and please don't get me wrong that I don't like Uncharted games. To the opposite it's was the first Uncharted game that I got my PlayStation 3 in 2010 just to play this masterpiece and It's was my favorite series of all time until Naughty Dogs rise another level and released another masterpiece "The Last of Us". Hmm..."Still Got It" huh? Personally I feel "Thief's End" storyline is a bit been "Force" or Naughty Dogs is trying to squeeze and cash grab for another Uncharted sequel before the franchise fade away in memories lane? If my memory didn't fail me, from "Fortune" to "Deception" never once did our Hero mention that he had a brother decades ago. In previous game there is one or two chapters where younger Nathan meet Sully for first time after the encounter till the end they also didn't said or talk anything about his Brother. Although my rants it was one of the better story among those 4 titles but in my opinion the best is still "Among Thieves" follow by "Thief's End" then "Fortune" and "Deception". Forget my rants with Nathan's family trees history, well...one thing I'm sure is that I absolutely 100% enjoyed the gameplay... but they add something nice and they also removed something useful from UC3. I like the sheath system where I can sneak through the area or I can choose to spook the enemy by picking them off one by one and the whole thing feel like "Last of Us" again but ND take away the grenade throw-back mechanics that is pretty useful in UC3. Oh well, at least enemies A.I in UC4 didn't spam as many grenade as in "Deception". I also like those creative not too hard but fair puzzle and the platform climbing is way better than previous Uncharted series especially the moment when I reach the highest peak and see those beautiful scenery it's give me a moment of peaceful when those mercenary are still on my tail. I can said crushing difficulty is the easiest in all Uncharted series, thanks to developer for adding "game play modifier" and when enabled they don't disable trophies so it make life a lot easier for higher difficulty and speedrun. Although those modifier I only use "Bullet Speed Mode" for crushing difficultly and I activate "Slow Motion" for the final encounter. As for speedrun I use "Barok.44" with "Unlimited Ammo" enabled and I really hate speedrun or timed event. Never in my dream I'll be able to reach #100 platinum trophies cause I didn't hunt for trophy on my first year in 2010. It all started when I got my first platinum on Uncharted: Drake's Fortune. Luckily I didn't give up during crushing difficulty or maybe in that period I didn't have any credit for new game so I bite my teeth and push through the game and the rest is history. But I still stay true to my gaming habits and try to 100% every game I played even there is no trophy required for 100% and trophy is another bonus that squeeze the game out even more. Actually some trophy requirement is so hilarious and in my early days I didn't know some multiplayer trophy can be boosted, Lol. Anyway I'm not a true hardcore trophy hunter so it's was still a small achievement for me. Uncharted 4: A Thief's End Platinum Video
Popular Post Lum
#32: STAR OCEAN™ - THE LAST HOPE -™ 4K & Full HD Remaster Platinum Trophy Congratulations! You've collected every last STAR OCEAN™ - THE LAST HOPE -™ 4K & Full HD Remaster trophy! This may be my proudest platinum yet not because of necessarily the difficulty, but because the fact that I've never spent so much time and dedication in a game for just a single platinum (about 627 hours). What got me first interested in this game was not only the low rarity % of the platinum itself, but also the grinding "horrors" that many gamers speak of about this game. This peaked my curiosity and if what is being said about this game is true, then I'm also willing to put my endurance to the test...and boy am I glad I passed! Outside of trophies, as someone who's playing the Star Ocean series for the first time, I'm glad to experience great gameplay through a new (to me), simple, but nifty enough battle system. The story was overall enjoyable, though I had more fun experiencing the characters and their quirks, as well as their interaction towards each other (Sarah's innocence and slow demeanor in certain scenes were the most hilarious parts in the game imo). Anyways, I'm glad to experience the journey and after platting this I feel like I should be able to handle any amount of grind in a JRPG that comes my way (yes, I see your head poking out of the corner there, Mugen Souls). Omelette Paradise
#226 Zeus Quest Remastered Picked this up in a recent sale. An enjoyable point & click game with some amusing moments and quite short as well. I believe it was originally a mobile game which quite clear from the game's interface and menu. A few glitches to watch out for so be wary. #227 The Long Reach Another one I picked up in a recent sale. It plays very similarly to Claire and Home which is no bad thing and it even borrows the hiding from enemies element from Claire. The game's story starts off strongly but for me it went completely off the rails later on. I didn't have a clue what was going on towards the end. Hopefully I will understand the latter half of the story a little bit better when I play the Vita version of the game which I'm also waiting for a sale on since there was no cross-buy
Popular Post Oobedoob S Benubi
You're THE Driver, babyWin all trophies. Did some grinding today, and got to the platinum. This game is a lot easier to 100% than the first game, which I didn't even bother with in the end. It's cool that they added planes (and boats, but I mainly like the planes) but there's so much that the first The Crew title did better... Like progression, less obnoxious rubber banding, and a map that needed to be explored instead of opening up all at once. It's like The Crew 2 goaded me into getting the platinum as quickly as possible without looking back, as quicktravel goes straight to events, instead of how in The Crew 1 you could just point on the map (where you had already explored) and faff about. I'm glad I got it on a sale. I paid €35 for it, and can get €20 back for it now (by trading it in at a game store for credit towards Red Dead Redemption II). It was definitely a fun game for €15. Platinum #45, by the way. May have to start thinking about what to do for #50. Assassin's Creed Odyssey could be a good bet. Desmuria
#104 - Zero Escape: The Nonary Games You Found It Gained all trophies. Enjoyment: 7/10 Difficulty: 3/10 The first of my Zero Escape platinums is from The Nonary Games, which is two games in one. You have 999 and VLR, which are both great to play. I'll review them separately below: 999 - Nine Hours, Nine Persons, Nine Doors The first game in the franchise and definitely the simplest of the bunch. You only have to earn a few trophies for this one and the story flowchart only has six endings. Nonetheless, the story is great, the characters were fun and the escape rooms were challenging enough without being infuriating. VLR - Virtue's Last Reward The second game in the franchise definitely ups the stakes when it comes to story-telling and challenges. There are numerous endings in this one, which is all kept neatly in a helpful flowchart so you can easily flit around and play different routes. New characters are introduced and are portrayed very well in the story, plus they brought back some of the characters from 999. The animations in comparison to the first game weren't as good, in my opinion. However, they improve a lot more in Dilemma (see below). #105 - Zero Escape Dilemma Zero Escape Collect all trophies. Enjoyment: 7/10 Difficulty: 3/10 The third game in the franchise and my personal favourite. They brought back a bunch of characters from the first and second games, which was awesome. The escape rooms weren't too painful and the puzzles were challenging enough without being too easy. The character animations were A LOT better in this one compared to VLR, despite dodgy lip-syncing. My only complaint was that they ditched the flowchart, in favour of "fragments" which didn't flow as well. Nonetheless, I had a blast playing these three games and I recommend them if you like visual novels and/or point-and-click games. Connor's path was my favourite of the three, with Hank being my favourite character.
Popular Post FarSideOfSaturn
#30 Old Man's Journey - Life, loss, reconciliation, and hope Wanted a change of pace after the Ezio trilogy, so I went and bought three puzzle games featuring an old dude who may very well be the Father of Psycho Mantis (OMJ) another who seems to go on the loudest and most intense acid trip in the world while he works (North) and a boy who's going to need counselling for the rest of the life after I've completed the game (Inside). It's diverse at least. Old Man's Journey is the story of an old guy who receives a letter, we don't get to see the contents but as he's visibly distressed it's safe to assume shit's went down somewhere and he has to get there. So off he fucks into the wild accompanied by a pretty good soundtrack, there's a problem though. Wherever he goes the routes are impassable, as in there's a fucking mountain in the way impassible. It's almost like the old guy's millenia old enough that in the time since he built his house out on the cliffs, the entire geology of the Earth has transformed behind him. That means the postman who delivered the letter earlier is one determined bastard. Mountains don't matter to this dude though which is where the puzzle solving element of the game comes in, for we can literally move mountains and raise/lower the ground to create bridges, crevices and paths to get this guy to where he needs to be. He seemingly has the power of a thousand Psycho Mantis's to be able to transform the landscape. Or maybe he's borrowing an idea from 400 Years and waiting for nature to forge a path for him. Aside from a fun section on a train and manipulating the terrain to roll boulders through walls blocking our path, that's almost the entire game. Every so often our old dude sits down and you'll need to find an object to trigger a reminiscing session, at this point he'll gradually recall events from his life, getting married, having kids and so forth that tell the story of his life. My reaction to his memories ranged from "aw, that's sweet" to "you fucking dick". The ending wasn't particularly original and tried to be emotive, but didn't quite pull it off in the way say, To the Moon did. In short, I'd describe it as the tale of a man out to put right the wrongs he did earlier in life. It's not a difficult platinum in the slightest, and it's stupidly quick. As I said earlier I'm just off the back of three Assassin's Creed games back to back so games like this are perfect for chilling a bit before going back to AAA titles, and it's fun to try something different every so often so if that sounds like you, go for it. Overall then... + Simple and easy to play + Colourful and atmospheric with some good artwork + Nice soundtrack - Story falls a little flat at the end - For the length of the game, it's only worth buying on sale Difficulty: 1/10 Enjoyment: 7/10 Edited September 8, 2018 by FarSideOfSaturn
Popular Post SebGamer93
#3 - God of War Difficulty: 3/10 Enjoyment: 10/10 Estimated Time to Platinum: 30-40 Hours God of War is a masterpiece. It's just that simple. It's the Game of the Year. I love everything about this game. I could write a whole essay on why I love this game. In terms of the trophies, nothing is missable. Everything can be done post-game, but I prefer to get it all done before the ending. This is an easy platinum, but it's extremely time consuming. Basically you have to 100% the map. The Valkyries even on lower difficulties are no joke. The biggest pain in the ass for the plat is collecting all the ravens. Some of them fly around in circles and it can be really hard to hit them. I can't wait until the sequel.

Popular Post RuNNinG-sCaRe_D
#97 - Vampyr Time is on my side Good story, interesting NPC's with some background (you can also unlock hints about them what brings some EXP and more EXP when embracing them), but only a solid combat system. If you go on a "no kill"-playthrough you have to earn exp through unlocking hints of the citizens and completing sidemissions, what makes the game a little harder. Bosses will kill you with 2-4 hits, if you are underleveled or not good in dodging their attacks. I recommend to read a trophyguide before playing it. It has some missable trophies and only one auto-save... €dit: Also reached my 5000th trophie-milestone with Vampyr: Unlife is strange Funny, because i planned "Life is Strange" to be my 100. Popular Post Scarred_LWolf
#48 Dark Chronicle (Dark Cloud 2) Past, Present, and Future Difficulty: 5/10 Enjoyment: 10/10 Estimated Time to Platinum: 80-100+ Hours Well i finally managed to complete it! I remember when i was a kid, i couldn't finish it on ps2 and lost many missable photos and so on. I gotta say that i am surprised and very happy that i finally completed this gem! I decided to add this platinum trophy as my 2.000 trophy milestone. I loved every bit of it...I only disliked this frustrating Spheda mini golf...as the game trolled me very hard and many times but in the end, it couldn't stop me! Haha. I will wait for the new Dark Cloud 3 hopefully... Oh i also managed to be top 3! Yay! The game itself is easy cause as you can do the lure glitch on chapter 8 and makes it easier to max out the weapons.. Without it, the platinum could be over 200-300 hours.. One advice for you is to read a guide to take all photos, get as many medals as you can early to save time and finally about that monster leveling...well there is no easy way to get exp...so leave it on chapter 7 Moonflower palace and finally on Zelmite Mine to get to 76. Popular Post voodoo_eyes
#304 - Black Mirror It's unfortunate that this didn't have more polish, as it could've been an excellent game. It's still good overall, especially the voice acting, musical score and story. There are however some technical issues (crashes, lag, cutscenes not finishing properly), spelling mistakes and sections where the characters look ugly as hell (usually when they're not in cutscenes/conversations).
