StraightVege
#172 - Foul Play Although the gameplay mostly boils down to repetitively parrying and mashing the attack button, this game is kind of saved from being just another generic brawler by its presentation as an old-timey stage play, along with a good sense of humor. I also liked that health and score are both combined into one unique "Mood Meter," which requires performing well to stay alive and earn the best rating. Some of the level challenges are a bit aggravating, but putting the unlockable charms to good use makes all the difference. Far more enjoyable than 99Vidas, at least!

Popular Post monkeydluffy512
#276 Horizon: Zero Dawn After hearing so many good things about this game I finally got around to playing it. After spending more than 100 hours exploring and killing every robot that crossed my path, I'm pretty sure I can say it was really fun. I'm glad i picked this up, and can't wait to get into my "ultra hard" play through to finish up for 100%.
Inuty
#106 Jotun (PS4) Enjoyment: 9/10 Difficulty: 6/10 Time: 25 hours What a game This is a indie game about the northern myths and your character die in the beginning. You don´t die like a warrior and Need to prove that you deserve a place in Valhalla For this you Need to defeat the Jotun to prove it to Odin. It´s a hard but rewarding game. All in all you don´t Need a lot of time to Play through the game but trophies are really hard because you Need to defeat all Jotun without any Magic, without taking damage and in a harder valhalla mode after you finish the game. I love it, the Environment is beautiful and the bosses are all totally different and challenging in their own way. I´m number 27 for the platinum in the EU and I think the game should deserve some more Players It´s not impossible to beat so if you like a challenge you should try it out!

Popular Post cr1s
#378 and 379 - Senran Kagura Estival Versus (Vita and PS4 respectively) How I Spent My Summer Vacation Obtained all trophies. Difficulty: 2.5/10 Enjoyment: 7.5/10 No, that's not how I spent my summer "vacation". Not all of it anyway. I know what you're thinking right now... "you played this game because of the fan service". And while that's true, I'm also glad there's more to it than that. This game is pure, mindless hack-and-slash fun with a decent story that occasionally tries too hard to be thought-provoking when it doesn't have to and a whole lot of "plot". But seriously, fan service aside, even without the story and light-hearted moments it would've still been a good hack-and-slash game. Even though you're limited to a few attacks per character, there's still a neat variety of combos to perform, and some characters have awesome "super attacks" (I didn't pay attention to what they're called... ). Additionally, the Creative Finishers definitely live up to their name. It's pretty clear that the developers had a lot of fun making this game (or any other game in this series for that matter), and I sure had a lot of fun playing it. That said, the fun factor does wear out after a while, particularly after you finish the main story since the side missions don't add anything of value IMO and many of them feel like filler. The platinum is pretty easy as you can play on the easiest difficulty. This also means that you can just spam the same attack over and over, but where's the fun in that when there's a lot more to experience? The trophy list is a mixture of story-related trophies, collectible-related trophies, combat-related trophies, and a few miscellaneous trophies. The game features online multiplayer, but there are no trophies attached to it. It took me 30 hours to platinum according to my save file (I admittedly did skip most of the side missions' cutscenes), so it's not really grindy either. And it's not that other grindy either. Dilust
# 109 - Dungeon Punks It's a very generic brawler graced by a good longevity and a decent story. All the other aspects of the game are above the average and very far from modern standards. Became a bit repetitive in the end.
Paulie1313
# 87 Finally came back to this after being away from gaming for awhile. Campaign was fun, not really what you'd expect from a Battlefield game, but nonetheless, I found it enjoyable. Easy enough Plat, but getting 100% is another story lol. Popular Post Bumperklever
#75 Sir Eatsalot (PSVita) Defender of Gluttington Date Achieved: 15 September 2018 Rarity: Uncommon (39-40%) Enjoyment: 4.5/10 This game reminds me a lot of super exploding zoo and can be summed up in one sentence. Nice looking; cutesy/great art style, but boring gameplay. Probably due to combat being attack/block/attack without really any variations and you just being way to slow. This game is also clunky as hell and pretty much summed up by the following quote from the trophy thoughts thread: Spoiler On 7/6/2018 at 2:38 AM, readytofuky said: This could have been a fun laid back game but the three times you have to finesse the touchscreen while rotating the analogue stick 360 degrees are a crime against gaming. That shit is so uncomfortable to do. The cherry picker trophy was a bit of a bastard as well. I have a screen protector on & had to hit the cherries pretty hard to make them fall. The clown boss can be really tedious if you miss a cycle or two, there were a few times I had him stunned in the right place & the back touch pad just didn't want to acknowledge the input & fire the cannon. Recharging the carrot light during & having to deal with robot bureaucracy made the mines areas kind of awful to deal with. Also hated the way the late game bruisers would switch up the 3rd attack when going for the quick kill so you have to do the boring block/wait/attack sequence. Oh that last bit of boating, had to retry that several times after dying right at the very end. In the last area after that also had to do a second loop of one set of screens thanks to accidently entering a tunnel. That also reminds me of how nasty it was having to backtrack through trap ridden sections mid-game. I think this would be a fun title playing a bit each day with absolute patience. All my mistakes were made because I was trying to rush which made things more annoying than they should have been. This is a really easy platinum but it's not entirely without effort. I reckon it'd be a lot more enjoyable without all the forced touch screen/camera/gyro stuff. Game just isn't worth it and it's a shame since it actually looks really nice on paper. Popular Post B1rvine
Borderlands The Pre-Sequel Borderland Defender Round 1.5 Pro Tip: Start your first play through as ClapTrap. You'll save tons of time. Anyway, I thought this game was awesome, considering how it seems the majority of the Borderlands community shuns it. I felt it played almost identical to Borderlands 2 gameplay-wise, with a few new game mechanics such as zero gravity, a new gun type (lasers), the Grinder (thanks for spitting out those legendaries), and best vehicle ever, the Stingray. As usual, I like the sarcastic attitude the game has, and how it slightly makes fun of some game stereotypes. The 100+ eastereggs and references to other games and movies were also fun to discover. Thanks to @Squirlruler for playing with me, it definitely made things more enjoyable.

Popular Post Undead Wolf
#221 - Yakuza: Dead Souls Platinum Trophy Earn all other trophies in the game. I went into this game not really knowing what to expect. I mean it's a spin-off title about fighting zombies with guns, so I wasn't sure it would grab me like the mainline titles do. Well, I'm happy to say this game is actually a lot of fun, and there are a bunch of great moments in the story which put a smile on my face. The boss fights remind me a lot of Resident Evil which can't be a bad thing. Sure, the controls are a little wonky, and the gameplay isn't as refined as you would expect from other third person shooters, but there's a certain charm to it. You get to play as many of the best characters in the series, but this time they have a ridiculously huge Anti-Material or a Gatling Gun for an arm. So cool! The trophies aren't difficult to obtain; I was under-prepared for Dead Souls difficulty and still beat it with no problems. It feels a little more grindy than some of the other Yakuza games I've played, particularly because you need to clear all of the Subterranea stuff and reach max level, but that's about it. Fun game. I'd definitely recommend that Yakuza fans give this game a try even if it didn't initially appeal to them. It's unlikely to ever get remastered too, so don't miss out!

It could be even better if some side quests and the collectibles (for example, something like the riddles in Batman Arkham games) were more imaginative. Can't wait for the dlcs and the villains that they will introduce.
Popular Post Carol
#139 Dead by Daylight Dead by Daylight Collected All The Trophies I am a multiplayer enthusiast and I love online trophies. I was in serious privation of a decent list of online trophies since the times of Uncharted 3, that I completed back in 2014. I was, therefore, thrilled when "Dead by Daylight" was announced as a PS Plus game. I started the game as soon as it turned free and I immediately loved it. I knew the platinum was hard and time-consuming and, usually, I don't do such rare platinums, so I didn't think I would achieve it. However, love conquers everything. This game is extremely addictive, so I just couldn't put it down. And...well, I just devoured the trophy list. Working on the trophies just made everything more fun. The trickiest trophies are some of the killer ones. The nurse, especially, has an absurd learning curve. I managed to get her trophies, but I'm still terrible with her. Killing people by your own hands is tricky too and it definitely requires some luck. The survivor trophies are, in general, easy. The only trophy that I couldn't get by playing normally with randoms was the "Where did they go!?" one. This trophy is almost impossible to get legit and it blocked my platinum for a couple of days. Fortunately, I found a very friendly group and also, after some tries, a kind killer that allowed us to get the trophy. I, obviously, would like to thank all the people that organized the boosting session and the generous random killer that we found. Without them, I wouldn't have my platinum. This is a very special platinum, for me. I feel very emotional about it. It's my rarest trophy and my most prestigious platinum. It took me a month of playing the game almost non-stop, but it was definitely worth it. Now, it occupies a place at the top of my rarest trophies section. I couldn't be prouder of this achievement! Popular Post TheActualMeg4cy
#40 - Assassin's Creed 2 (PS4) - Master Assassin My 1st ever Assassin's Creed Series Platinum, probably not my last either. I played through AC2 on the 360/PS3 in the past on previous accounts but never was too bothered about the hunt for plat's back then but oh boy, AC2 was quite the fun experience. The port on PS4, however... didn't shape up too well. The textures are still sub-par compared to what is available on the console today and the fact they couldn't even get the game to run at 60FPS is a bit laughable (truly demonstrates how poor/rushed this port was for the PS4). The only issue in regards to the platinum for this game is the collecting of the 100 feathers. There is (as far as I know...) no way to actually track where you've collected feathers from, so when it comes to collecting your remaining lot; be prepared to go through the complete video guide over to ensure you're keeping on track. I've heard horror stories of people missing 1 feather and having to sit through all of the guides just to find it. Overall; Excellent Game from a story perspective but compared to what other remasters have been able to achieve, Assassin's Creed 2 is definitely the poorest of the lot thus far for me.
Popular Post Baker
#196 Exist Archive: The Other Side of the Sky Total Playtime: 82 hours Difficulty: 4/10 Enjoyment: 8/10 This game has been on my radar for a long time but I was a bit hesitant to buy it as it doesn’t get a lot of good reviews. When it was on sale again a few weeks ago I decided it was time to pick it up and I’m glad I did. The story is decent, with some good humor and the game doesn’t take itself too serious. The locations, which are types of dungeons, are fine. But what hooked me to this game was the battle system. Some good old turnbased battles! The game is definitely one big grind, dungeon after dungeon, battle after battle. Too bad there aren’t more Anime cutscenes in it, as there are only 2. The beginning and ending scenes. Anyway as I can play JRPGs for hours straight I managed to get the fastest platinum achiever time. That’s a first. To sum up: Anyone who likes turnbased JRPGs should give this game a go. Now what better way after playing a turnbased JRPG is....To play another! I just bought Persona 5! (Finally)
Popular Post Sergen
Grand Theft Auto III: Platinum #124 Difficulty: 3/10 Time Taken: 25-30 hours Another simple, yet enjoyable platinum. A huge downside of this game is the fact that they didn't include the option to see the full game map, initially this made it difficult for me to find things that people were showing in any video guides, like a location for a collectable. I did eventually end up knowing where things were, but I think I took the fact that you can see the whole map for granted in the other GTA games. This game was the first 3D GTA game, so they did have minimal content within this game compared to the other GTA games, the other GTA games improve upon various mechanics significantly. I see that a lot of the guides made for this game are made with the modded PC version, on PS4 you don't even get to see your gun aiming, you just shoot in the direction of enemies. This game benefits from the fact that cheat codes don't disable trophies, so I used a ton of cheats while working on the game, but I did later learn that some cheats will lower your criminal rating, but I had over 4000 criminal rating when I was done with everything else, which was enough for me to spam the money cheat and get the criminal rating trophy at the end. This game's story is quite minimal, you simply run to a character's marker and they tell you what they want, then you do what they want and get some money for it, because of the cheat codes, I really never spent any money on the game. Due to the fact that this game doesn't have a map, quite a few of the guides available for the game start the collectable hunt in a very familiar spot and you follow them from collectable to collectable, this really wasn't the case for the GTA games that have the option to see the full map. I will soon do GTA Vice City and San Andreas on PS4, then I will be done with the GTA series as a whole .
