Popular Post Beyondthegrave07
#71 - Uncharted - The Lost Legacy Difficulty: 3/10 Fun: 8/10 Recommend?: Probably the weakest in the series, but yes! I've had this game since Christmas and just now decided to play it. The game wasn't super short or super long which made it a great game to fit in between my exams. The game takes place after Uncharted 4 (on the timeline) and revolves around fan-favorite, Chloe. I always liked Chloe as a character as she always felt like a parallel to Nathan Drake, and does an excellent job filling in the wise-cracking, sarcastic treasure hunter of Nathan Drake in this game. She teams up with Nadine Ross, who is one of the antagonists in Uncharted 4, and though I like the dynamic of a "hero" and a "villain" teaming up for a kick-ass adventure, it honestly felt awkward seeing these 2 side by side, and I never really felt the chemistry between the partners like I did between Nathan Drake and Sully. I think part of the issue is that Nadine isn't really a well-fleshed out character like Chloe and going through the game, you don't really see her evolve as a character. I understand this is a story about Chloe finishing her father's work, but ND should have spent more time fleshing out Nadine's character. Maybe had some solo chapters for her in the game or where you play as her when Chloe and Nadine split up, something to further her character development would have done wonders for the game IMO. I like the game, but I don't love it. Anyways, it's still a great game and feels like an Uncharted game so if you enjoyed Uncharted 4, you'll like this one as well. I normally don't post my screenshots, but I thought this one was pretty cool! Spoiler

Popular Post snakebit10
#253 I thought this was a fun little game. A 2d game with some platforming in it. The whole idea of you just being a had looking for your body was neat. It wasn't difficult at all and didn't have much post game clean up either. Really don't need a trophy guide as everything is pretty straight forward and easy to find.

Popular Post jacks
Platinum #104 Marvel's Spider-Man Be Greater Collect all Trophies Enjoyment: 9.5/10 Difficulty: 3/10 Most Annoying trophy: I would say the trophies overall were consistently enjoyable and encouraged quite a bit of exploration, but the only annoying thing is, believe it or not, the tiles. REALLY wish that platinum trophy was Spider-Man colors (maybe the same as the avatar pre-order bonus) so I could proudly display it in my trophy cabinet. Probably one of the few I've ever quite literally started the moment I got home from work, and fired up the day I received it. Sometimes games get put in a backlog due to sales, sometimes I'll even buy something on release, and not touch it for a month, but nope... this was on my hard drive ready to be played at first opportunity. Even with sky high expectations, it generally met most of them. The story hit pretty hard, the gameplay loop was very, very entertaining (though I could see some arguing the repetition in some of the Ubi-fied side activities), and I think the best thing I can credit Insomniac for is that they seemed to have masterfully paced the game so that almost nothing -- even the most mundane of tasks -- overstays its welcome, making for a very enjoyable platinum. I know a lot of people will pit this up against the Arkham series as among the best superhero games ever made (and possibly one among the best licensed ones, as well), and while I know a lot feel that Arkham still outshines it, the fact that it's even any sort of company as such a phenomenal series of games bodes well for the argument that this very well may be the Spider-Man game many people have always wanted. It's almost close to perfection in terms of how I envisioned a great Spider-Man game, and hits all the right notes, but .5 points gets knocked off for the end game that dumps 80 crimes on you, and that was about the only time in the game I felt I was grinding. That actually speaks well about the game considering I was very inefficient about the way I went about doing the side activities, traversing Manhattan probably over a couple hundred times back and forth as they unlocked one by one through story progression, and one could say that that could lead to the horrid "grind feel" when it feels like I'm just backtracking through similar areas, but with just how meticulously and lovingly crafted the map was, I would get lost for hours doing other things without ever feeling like I was getting sick of it but in fact wanting more. I could probably gush over millions of other things that I absolutely loved about the game, the references to the comics, the landmarks scattered throughout the game, the MCU-grade audio design that knows when to make you feel like you are being a true superhero, and, of course, my favorite pre-order bonus being the Infinity War suit that I totally rocked for a good portion of the game, but I feel it would just take too long to list everything about the game. Spider-Man fans rejoice -- this one is one you'll keep on your hard drive for quite some time. SIDE NOTE: On the topic surrounding the collector's edition statue, I actually didn't know what to make of it the first time I opened it. But after finishing the game, I can kind of appreciate it a little more (though, kind of unsure about what's spoilerish about it to anyone but those who have never seen a Spider-Man movie or read the comic books or even have a basic knowledge of the rogue's gallery, but whatever).

Popular Post Ala-Arska
Tales of Zestiria (PS4) Master of Zestiria This is proof that you've obtained all trophies. We're thrilled you liked the game so much, and we hope to meet you again in future titles! The only trophy screenshot this game allows to have, and it's Claptrap's worst enemy...stairs. Well over a month with this game. Feels almost like a hiatus. And now it's finally over, goshdarnit! I'll say this right off the bat: Tales of Zestiria was a disappointment for me. It's the changes that alienated this dude Combat system is highly different than what I'm accustomed to in previous Tales of...titles. Let's start with the camera position... Characters either fight in third person mode, or in weird angles. Sometimes you can't even see what's going on due to cameraman passing out Then there's the combos. More than often my member would continue hacking thin air after missing once, even if I've stopped pressing buttons. And that's something that really pissed me off a lot. There's no fluid movement or mixing different artes, it's all just blind luck if anything connects Leveling up means jack shit. Now it's up to fusing equipment with different skills, if you want to survive. F**k this, I'll take grinding EXP any day, old school! It's stupid and illogical when you're over one hundred levels better than the enemy and the monster still occasionally takes 0 (zero!) damage from you. F**ksh*t. Some of the trophies related to fusing and getting a certain amount of skills suck ass. I hated the whole micromanaging system here, and the trophies as well But still, as sucky and flawed this pain-in-the-arse-of-a-game can be, it does have some redeeming qualities. Music is pretty darn good. Even when farming Gald or equipment for hours upon hours, I didn't feel the need to mute my TV. I liked the soundtrack quite a bit Characters are interesting, funny and have a history and a story arc. Tales of...games usually succeed in this department, this game is no exception. Story doesn't blow, let's just put it that way. Lot's of watchable cut scenes, and the animated scenes were always a welcome addition Still much left unsaid about the good and bad qualities of Zestiria, but they're more or less nitpicking on my behalf. This is now my 7th Tales of...game completed, not many left. Zestiria is in the bottom half of my catalogue. Still better than Dawn of the New World, though

Mad Respect From Everyone At SMG Studios. Put it in spoiler tag because the Death Squared platinum trophy is white on black, and since PSNP doesn't bring along black backgrounds in trophy/game images... Got the platinum in Spider-Man yesterday, after putting priority gaming focus on it for the past week. I thought it was a fun experience, thoughsome bits could've used more polishing and/or thought. Death Squared is a game I bought right when it came out on the Switch, and I thought it was great, and worth the full price. I bought it on PS4 on a great sale a few months ago, figuring I could convince my brother-in-law to do a co-op playthrough with me and get all the trophies. We finished the Party levels today, and the only thing we still needed were some random trophies, which we quickly churned out. Death Squared is a great puzzle plaformer, and I recommend it. Its stroy levels are playable solo.

Popular Post Buje-Boy
46: Fallout Shelter --------------------------------------------------------------------- Platinum Trophy Collect all other 34 Trophies for this Trophy. Difficulty: 4/10 (easy to achieve… it‘s just time-consuming) Fun: 1.5/10 Rarity: 12.85% (rare) Includes 35 Trophies [1,140 Points] 1...4...10...20 Finally… Today I earned the plat from Fallout Shelter. It took me about 61 in-game hours to get this (in total it was one month and three weeks). The first 55 hours were really smooth and everything was really casual. When I was home I always had the clock in the eye, only to know when the next quest is ready or other stuff. But today I noticed, that if you wanna craft and collect any legendary outfit or weapon it takes up to twelve days! That was enough for me. I looked up on @PowerPyx' Trophy Guide and was really surprised that there was a time skip exploit which saves hundreds of hours. I was so mad at myself I didn‘t know that before. Well, with this new technique it worked very well and after a non-stop-six-hours-gaming-session I reached my goal. For myself, I don‘t wanna play such type of games; it‘s nerve-wrenching and it makes you paranoid. I‘m so glad I don‘t need to play Fallout Shelter again.

Yomako01
#74 Fallout Shelter Platinum Trophy Collect all other 34 Trophies for this Trophy. I've now completed the Fallout franchise for the time being. It has to be the most tedious game I have ever played, due to its real-time counters. Avoid unless you are an avid Fallout fan, and even then, it isn't worth it.
Popular Post Valyrious
#75 - Spider-Man Laughably easy platinum. A little too easy for my liking, as I've stated a few times already. But I guess better that than a completely tedious trophy list. The saddest thing about getting this platinum is that now I have to go back to playing mediocre games. Can't wait to start a second playthrough. What a game this was. Well beyond what I was expecting. Can't wait for Insomniac's sequel. The cliff hanger ending was fantastic. Pretty obvious what direction they're taking the series next. My new game of the year. Popular Post RedRodriguez87
Sigi - A Fart for Melusina Platinum Ah, I tell you, when you are going through a super annoying game that requires multiple playthroughs (De Blob), sometimes games like Sigi are just what a person needs to break up the grind and provide instant fun gratification. It's a super short, super cheap, easy platinum, but one that is satisfying and has that certain indie charm to it, starting with the obvious similarities to Mario, to the Ghosts and Goblins style gameplay. It gives you the semi-satisfaction of 100% in under 30 min without actually putting you through the wringer. Popular Post Conor
#5- SPIDER-MAN (PS4) Be Greater Enjoyment: 9/10 Difficulty: 3/10 Time Taken: 1 Week, 1 Day, 3 Hours Rarity: 4.6% Ultra Rare (PSN) / 22.85% Uncommon (PSNProfiles) Hardest Trophy: I Heart Manhattan (Gold)- 100% complete all districts It is safe to say that I have been waiting for this game for a very long time. I haven't played a Spider-Man game since the disappointing Spider-Man 3 over a decade ago, but now I'm eager to go back and check out some of the ones that are better regarded. This is probably not going to be topped by any of them though. Not since Batman: Arkham City have I been so immersed in the world and role of a superhero. Swinging around New York kicking ass and taking names is exhilarating, a pure joy and one that was well worth the wait. The story was brilliant, really captured the tone of the character and world perfectly, and Yuri Lowenthal put in a career-best performance as the titular character. Combat is awesome too. Some will say that it is a knock-off of Arkham, but those of us who know better remember the fighting in the also excellent Spider-Man 2 back in 2004, of which the Freeflow combat system in Arkham was an evolution, and now it has swung back full-circle. It's not a perfect game by any means- the camera doesn't always work with you and the collectibles are a bit too much of the same open-world busywork kind, though the traversal system and the genuine feeling of being Spider-man makes it pretty tolerable. Completing all of the districts got a bit tiresome by the end but I'm delighted to be done for now. I also came across a few bugs, such as glitching into the Empire State Building's spire and having to reload checkpoint as well as enemies glitching into objects making them difficult- but not impossible- to hit. In all, there's nothing really glaringly wrong with the game at all, nothing to take away form the overall enjoyment. Although it really shouldn't be something to be applauded in an ideal world, it is really cool that Insomniac were able to craft such a great experience and shy away from the fuckery of microtransactions when it could have been so easily implemented. The hunt for trophies was simple and straightforward. However, there was ample content and I spent well upwards of 40 hours on this game so far, so I definitely feel like I got my money's worth, really sticks it to the fools who think that a game needs 100+ hours of grindy busywork or an online mode (which nobody would play) to be worth the asking price. It's an extra big middle finger to the likes of EA and their bullshit notion that gamers don't want single-player anymore. Well here's the proof that not only can single-player be as amazing as ever but there is a very big market for it still. There's no doubt I'll be getting each of the DLCs as they come out. I'm excited by the possibilities of this. There is sure to be a sequel and I'm all in for Insomniac to put us into Spidey's suit once again. All of the Easter eggs and references, however, are even more tantalising- could we see an interconnected Marvel Game Universe? Would it be possible for Sony to get all of their in-house first-party studios working on this? Maybe, maybe not, but the thoughts are very, very exciting indeed! Proud to have this as my 5th platinum as well as my first on PS4! Edited September 17, 2018 by LepreCon1991

Popular Post Inuty
#107-108 Shenmue & Shenmue II (PS4) Enjoyment: 4/10 Difficulty: 4/10 Time: 35 hours I´m not even sure how to start... I bought the games because I heard from a lot of People that the games are a good experience. Sadly for me it was more work then having fun with the games. You Need to find the murder of your father and investigate through the City to find clues about the murder. So the game is mostly talking to People to Progress through the Story. Sometimes there are some fights in an old beat em up style. You can´t trigger the fights and if the fights are not Story relevant then no fighting is Happening at all. But you Need to Train in parking lots etc to improve your fighting skills. So you will have a lot of practice fighting to improve the skills and this is extremly exausting after a while. All friends of Ryo in the first game seem really unneccesary because I didn´t had the Feeling I care for anyone of the characters and so it seems for Ryo. There were no emotions from the characters. I guess it wouldn´t matter if they weren´t there. The worst part for me were the Harbour working. I felt like playing a Simulator in a Harbour to carry crates from one Point to another. You can´t fasten up the time so you Need to wait until specific times for specific Story Events to trigger or even until you can go to sleep. I found myself in a lot of situations Standing still for 15 minutes because you couldn´t do anything because of the ingame time. The second game was a bit better because you could skip ingame time for specific Story Events. Also the friends seem more important then in the first game (but only slightly). I played through the Storys because I thought maybe after some time the Story will get really good and I will have fun with the game but the second game Ends with a cliff hanger. I don´t want to imagine the People who waiting until now to receive the ending of this saga. Trophywise you had in both games some missable trophies you Need to take care before you Progress in the Story. I´m not sure if the games are just to old for me because I can imagine they were great for the time they were released but it didn´t catch me at allIf you are interested you can try them out but I wouldn´t recommend the games.
Popular Post madbuk
#274 - Shadow of the Tomb Raider This is without a doubt the best game of the rebooted trilogy. It combines the improved combat from 2013 with the classic TR puzzles and exploration that Rise tried to bring back. Eidos did a great job with the challenge tombs in this, and even the main story puzzles were interesting and took a while to solve as well. The new difficulty mode, deadly obssesion, is amazing. It added so much to the atmosphere of the tombs and crypts - they truly felt deadly. In lower difficulties you're robbed of that tension because death doesn't get punished, but in deadly obsession death can be a substantial setback so you actually have to take your time and think about what you're doing. It gave me strong PS1 TR vibes and I loved it so much. I also have to thank Eidos for finally, after 12 years, getting rid of (or at least giving you the option to get rid of) the awful white ledges that take any challenge out of the platforming. The game is so much better with those turned off, I'm surprised Crystal Dynamics never even tried it with the 12 years they had with the franchise. I hope Uncharted takes notes if it ever comes back, because Uncharted is plagued by the white ledges as well. On top of this, you can turn off Lara's annoying hints while you're solving puzzles - finally the puzzles are a challenge and Lara doesn't just spell everything out for you like she did in the previous two games. Also, because I started on deadly obssession - the way the game felt like it should be played imo - survival instincts was entirely disabled. This further added to the complexity of the puzzles, actually experimenting to see what I could interact with instead of the game just pointing everything out via SI. As far as combat is concerned, the actual gunfighting felt like a step down, there didn't feel like there was any feedback for the guns and something felt a bit off. The stealth was heavily improved though. The encounters were very fair and the new grass wall and mud mechanics are great. There's something so satisfying about hiding in a muddy wall and pickaxing someone as they walk by. There was also a genuine reason to craft with bottles/cans/etc. to use as weapons. Whereas I never did that in the previous games, I crafted a molotov more than a few times here because they are great stealth tools. Also, because I was on deadly obsession - I can't get over how great that mode is - the stealth encounters had genuine tension to them. You also couldn't use survival instincts to tell who you can kill without alerting nearby guards, which added more to the experience as well. Being spotted could be a disaster, and in some of the later stealth missions it's almost certainly a death. I usually don't enjoy stealth in games, but here I had a lot of fun. Despite being a big fan of the stealth encounters here, I also have to mention that the game has barely any of them and is more focused on exploration, puzzle solving and platforming - which is absolutely amazing, because that's exactly what I want out of a Tomb Raider game. Survival caches are still a dumb collectible because they're the hardest to spot and offer no benefit, but oh well. I feel like Eidos oversold the town element a little in the marketing, they made it sound like town hubs would be a big feature but there weren't that many. That's okay though, they were a little annoying to explore because some areas of the towns force you to walk slowly, so I can't say I'm too devastated that there weren't more of them. The story... was pretty laughable. I was very invested in it up until you reach the jungle and then it just drops off a cliff and for some reason I stopped caring. The early section is great, you get a slight remix of the main theme of 2013, Lara is far more confident than she was previously, and you could really tell that she has come a long way since 2013... but then nothing really happens until you get to an awful conclusion that I won't spoil but it didn't feel like the climax of a trilogy at all. The side quests also weren't very interesting, in regards to narrative, although some of them did lead you to a fun tomb or crypt that made slogging through the uninteresting side story worthwhile. Bad story and Tomb Raider just goes hand in hand though really imo, the only ones I actually ever cared about were Legend, Anniversary, Underworld, and 2013. Angel of Darkness could've been interesting but it had the flaw of starting a trilogy and then the other 2 games getting cancelled. I'm interested to see where they take the franchise from here. I really hope they don't shelve it entirely like they did for Deus Ex. Spider-Man's sales have painted the sales of this in a negative light and even with Rise, the sales ended up being less than they were for 2013 - and Square were disappointed by 2013 sale's so I dread to think what their opinion of Rise/Shadow's is. If they do shelve it, I'm happy we at least saw a conclusion to the trilogy, despite it being a bad one. The opportunity to finish its story was something Angel of Darkness never got. In my trophy checklist, you can see my thoughts of Rise and I open with "I truly hope that Eidos do this franchise some justice with the next entry." I can safely say that they have, and I cannot thank them enough for finally listening to fan feedback that Crystal Dynamics ignored for so many years. I highly recommend anyone getting this to start on deadly obsession, to get full appreciation of just how good this game is. It's a shame that both Eidos and Crystal are stuck on Marvel projects now and probably will be for the foreseeable future.
