Yeah, I agree, the flying controls are, shall we say, not great haha. What I did for those races was, between each ring, I would stop, move up or down as needed, then move forward. Then, when you get sections where you don't need to move up or down, double tap to speed up flight and make up time for later rings. Using this method, only 1 race gave me a bit of trouble, the one on the Shield Heilcarrier I think. That one, you HAVE to go up and down while moving forward as the time limit is kinda strict, but it is definitely doable. Hope this helps! Yeah it'll help when I get back to that game. The flight controls starting with Batman 3 and further were great, especially Avengers, though Star Wars can be wonky.

Popular Post ArmoredSnowman
MARVEL'S Spider-Man Be Greater Plat Number 10! Well, it was a long journey with many breaks, but this is definitely the best Spider-Man game in over a decade! I loved almost every part of it, but I can't give a 10/10 for it. I disliked doing the research stations and the Taskmaster challenges didn't really add any value to the story. I HATED the stealth sections with MJ and Miles...well when MJ got the taser, that was pretty fun, but dying multiple times as Miles running away from Rhino? FUCK THAT. But, aye, that'll all change as Miles dons his costume (hopefully in the sequel, if not the DLC). Besides that, many things were changed from the comics to the game, such as Pete never having met Gwen Stacy (well, there's no Green Goblin, so no death on the bridge, no Captain Stacy -- only Yuri, so...). Green Goblin doesn't exist while the rest of the Sinister Six do. You never hear from Fisk after the game's events. You don't get to wear the Venom suit or the Captain Universe costume. Somehow, you never face Shocker again after the prison break... No Sandman, Venom, Carnage, Hobgoblin, Kraven, Morbius, Morlun, Madame Web, and no Dr. Lizard! But I digress, fitting all those characters in wouldn't have been conventional to the overall story, and I'm sure Insomniac will give some of them ample screen time later on. If not, we've always the Lego games, lol. Okay, so during the Dr. Octopus boss fight, I couldn't stop hearing Sasuke Uchiha's voice from Peter, lol. Now, I'll probably hear Sasuke as Spider-Man. Overall, excellent voice acting, especially with Pete, MJ, and the Osborns. I loved MJ's character, and made me wish OMD never happened in the comics (fuck Marvel for retconning their marriage! What was humorous to me was that Spider-Man and Yuri's voice actors are married in real life, and they both played as Naruto characters, and that MJ and Fisk's voice actors are married! Okay, back to the game. I loved the combats, and the parkour. Liked the subway transport, but the characters and story are so emotionally-driven. You actually tear up at the ending scenes. I had no trouble with the faction crimes...seriously, just swing around the city for a few seconds, and you'll find a crime...really not as hard as people make it out to be. I loved the different methods to take down baddies, but I preferred web bombs + invincible suit power, while using Ben Reilly's suit! I love that you can skip all the lab experiment steps, and I can keep my combos going for days lol, whereas on any Arkham game, I'll be pwned by a stun baton enemy, or Titan. I love the idea of XP in this game. And the game also features Alex Jones J. Jonas Jameson. For those who don't know, JJJ has been heavily anti-Spider-Man in the comics, to the point of using Spider-Slayers against him. While he's Spider-Man's biggest ally in the comics now, it's only fitting that he'd be a crackpot conspiracy theorist in this game. I am disappointed that Norman didn't go to prison, but of course, he's rich, so he can get off for his crimes. Remember, like in the real world, crime does pay. But damn if his story for Harry isn't emotional. I won't spoil it, but there's a very emotional death in this game, and we might have two spider-powered persons Hell, the game even has its own 'Scarecrow' sections, if you're familiar with Arkham. That said, I can't fucking wait for the DLCs! Well, if Insomniac ever attempted a Spider-Verse or Spider-Clone game, I have 120% faith that they'd be great! Would love to see Ben Reilly and Kaine, or Spider-Gwen. All in all, very awesome game. If you haven't played it, you're either an Xbox player (can't imagine why), or you're in a coma. Oh yeah, enjoy a flight-suit enemy getting stuck in a wall: But Insomniac, PLEASE bring Venom or Carnage into the next game. My wishlist for this series is to see Spider-Girl (be it Mayday or Gwen), Silk, or even cameos from other Marvel characters. Now for the rating: Difficulty: 3/10 (once you adapt to the game, and get better skills/gadgets, 2/10) Enjoyment: 9/10 (fuck research stations and Taskmaster challenges) Well, now to get back to Tomb Raider and God of War! Popular Post Redgrave
#137: Where It All Began - Yakuza 0 After a year of holding this off I finally did it! To explain a bit more, when I first played I felt a bit overwhelmed by all the mini-games and side content knowing I had to get all the completion points for them, so I wound up leaving the game alone despite really liking it at the time. However after playing Yakuza 6 I thought I would go back and at least get some of the other trophies I was missing like the Real Estate storyline and the Cabaret story. Sure enough I was clearing out all the mini-games one at a time and I started to get the feeling that maybe I can do it. My biggest obstacles were Disco, arcade games, and the dreaded Mahjong but once I figured out how those worked I chipped away at their completion requirements and sure enough all I really had were simple mini-games and the Climax Battles. The Climax Battles themselves weren't too bad apart from a select few. It feels like Majima gets the worst ones since I don't recall having much trouble with Kiryu's. After doing those Legend was pretty simple for the most part apart from having to protect Makoto during two segments (one of which requires you to do a chase sequence over again if you fail it) and the final boss fight mainly because failing it means replaying about an hour of the game again. But even so, I'm so glad to get this as it might be my proudest Platinum yet! The game itself is just badass. I really don't know how else to describe it other than that. There's so many scenes that just ooze with manliness and badassery that I could probably watch them over again and again and still have a big smile on my face when seeing them. Especially the Kuze scenes because he's just cool no matter what he's doing Then of course Majima has one of the best introductions of any game that I've played. Seriously, this game is great, and despite my frustrations with some of the mini-games and Climax Battles I still love it a lot. Highly recommended, and I don't think you would need to have that much Yakuza knowledge to get into it as a first game since it doesn't dump too much info on you but you might not get some references. Popular Post TheLastSurvivorD
#88: Tomb Raider True Survivor Unlock every Tomb Raider trophy. Another first plunge into a brand new series for me, as I've never played a Tomb Raider game before. But I've always been extremely interested in them. The series and its reputation for adventuring and exploration has always intrigued me, so I've definitely looked forward to trying them out. So what better way to do so than with the critically acclaimed reboot of the series? With everything that I've previously seen and heard about it, I was expecting to enjoy it whenever I finally started it. Well, now that I have, it certainly didn't disappoint: it's quickly become a memorable favorite of mine. Marooned, alone on an island with a dehumanized cult, and trying to survive every obstacle the island seems to throw at you. The set-up expertly ties everything from the incredibly grimy atmosphere of the hellish island and the dark secrets behind it's origins, the combat, to even the majorly likable Endurance crew, together into an awesome adventure that justifiably stands as one of the best present on the PlayStation 3. The attention to detail is clear in mostly every part of the game. And as expected, I loved the prominent surviving theme here. The goal of trying to stay alive in a place that's lined with seemingly insane survivors and that's seems primed to collapse on itself at any moment, and the way Lara grows and eventually hardens into the tomb raider and true survivor she becomes at the end of the game, made the game unforgettable. On the single-player side, there was nothing not to like with this. There were only two parts of the game that did leave something to be desired, being the tombs and puzzles that were far too quick and the climbing mechanics that posed more than a couple of problems at times. The online side of the game and the incredibly mindless level grind that came with it were also unnecessary to say the least. But, once again, thanks, to @bigpuff18 and certain others for helping with the other multiplayer trophies. My first adventure with this series was nothing short of amazing, and I can't wait to see what Lara's other expeditions are like.
Popular Post StraightVege
#173 - God of War III Remastered Still my least favorite of the main trilogy. Honestly, the annoying Pandora character and her repetitive lines about "hope" make me cringe. Nevertheless, it was pretty enjoyable to platinum this again, and it can be done very easily in one day with a few tricks. Just earn every missable and collectible trophy on Spartan difficulty, plow through the unlocked Challenge of Olympus, then use the Combat Arena glitch to start a new game on Titan with infinite health and all maxed equipment. In Hades, you can skip straight to the Judges and break the chain early, bringing you directly to the final battles with Zeus and bypassing over 90% of the game. Took me 10 hours, 14 minutes to reach full completion, and I had a couple of breaks. Fun, tidy plat.

Popular Post Donkrieg1011
Plat #111: Alien: Isolation This gen has seen so many great survival horror games coming out. Never thought an Alien game would be this intense of an experience. The atmosphere is excellent and instead of relying on cheap jump scares, the game uses the Alien (with the best AI in a survivor horror game I've seen to date) to create tense situations that forces you to utilize your initial limited arsenal. That said, the difficulty curve is pretty weird as the first half of the game is getting hunted by the Alien pretty much all the time and the latter half forces you to deal with the androids, which are neither scary or difficult. The game is still an 8/10 for me. Survivor horror games don't need to take away weapons from the player to make it scary.

Suparichie123
After not getting a plat for 4 months, I finally finished up this: The Big One Obtain every other trophy in the game. It was one of two games I got with my Ps3 back in 2011, and I am glad I got the Online trophies before it's server shutdown, thanks to a hint from an awesome user one here! =) Getting to rank 40 in Multiplayer and finding all of the 150 (!!!) Motorstorm cards was a grind, but still worth it imo haha. Now onto Borderlands 1, the plat of which I am going to make my 2000th trophy! Just have to fill up the remaining 15 trophies.
Popular Post Ala-Arska
Bound by Flame (PS3) Platinum Trophy Win all of the trophies in Bound by Flame Her career as a naturist adventurer was, unsurprisingly, short-lived. First impression is always right. Except when it isn't. My very first impression, when playing Bound by Flame, was "wow, this is one ugly looking, badly controlling piece of junk." I immediately regretted starting said abomination, and thought nothing but quitting it. Aaaaand that's when the first trophy popped. Now it was too late, I had to start pushing through towards the rest of 41 trophies. With a sour taste in my mouth I was dying constantly, camera would play tricks on me, the game was too hard on me. Wah wah waa, I had baby tantrums left & right! But, suddenly, a miracle of sorts happened. The game began to make sense to me. Combat turned more fluid, camera would stay put. Praise be! I would use hit and run tactics, let my ally take the heat. Stab 'em in the back, watch me win all day every day Music sounded good from the get-go. My tone-deaf ear would pick notes from greats like Bionic Commando (NES) and Final Fantasy IX. Isn't it weird? Story was nothing amazing, but having a demon possessing you did give a lot of humorous dialogue. People around the hero swore a lot, and the amount of sarcastic comments was staggering. And like a poor man's Dragon Age, it had some awkward seduction lines as well (which made everything all the more awesome, to be honest) Overall Bound by Flame is an average C+, but there's something bad that's really good about it. Well, the many cheap deaths are just bad
Popular Post Juzota
#105 - Marvel's Spider-man Be Greater Collect all Trophies Yup, this game was pretty cool. I know pretty much everything has already been said, but I did enjoy swinging around the city and the main story line was a solid effort. I especially enjoyed the Act 3, most of the coolest stuff happened there. As a trophy whore I didn't really enjoy the side missions and especially the random crimes were extremely boring and mind numbing. Nowhere near a perfect game, but really good nonetheless. Definitely gonna check out the inevitable sequel. Enjoyment: 8/10 Difficulty 3/10

I knew that i would love this from the moment i saw the trailer. I played Dragon Quest Builders and the art style and anything else made me fan of the series. I took my time on playing this game by exploring, farming, taking every item and so on. I had so fun and i am looking forward to the previous Dragon Quests on being released on PS4 and the new ones. The Dragon quests are like Final Fantasy series but with dragon ball art style. I also am watching the anime series lol. The soundtracks...were ok...and there weren't any new soundtracks when you were visiting or whatever.. Final Fantasy 8 or 10 for example had many soundtracks for almost every world or town while DQXI had 1 same soundtrack but i got used. Popular Post snakebit10
#254 I guess you could say I had kind of a love/hate relationship with Gravity Rush. I like the concept, the characters and the story. I hated when you thought you were shifting one way and Kat seemed to have a mind of her own and go another way. Maybe it was just me. I never felt 100% comfortable with the controls of the game. Thankfully nothing was to challenging, Some of the challenges I had to try a few times but most were easy. The airboat challenge was probably the worst for me. I am one the ones who was glad this came over to the PS4 because I never have had a Vita and I know I am missing out on a few titles. Maybe one day they will come to console also. I do own Gravity Rush 2 but I won't be jumping right into it.
Popular Post RedRodriguez87
PS4 A perfect Storm Master. 1 year, 1 week, 6 days. Yep, here's another I had no plans on ever coming back to. I had gotten the PS3 plat on my old account, and I didn't remember it being hard, just really long and tedious. And it's certainly that, as well as not being hard, really. If there is one thing this game did, it was reaffirm that the direction they chose for Naruto's voice actor was the absolute worst. Not the series in general, specifically Naruto. And I'm talking about BOTH the eng and jpn versions. If there's one thing you can't knock about the dub, is that it nails his annoying Japanese voice perfectly. I don't know what they were thinking when they thought "permanent screech that sounds like hell on your vocal chords" was the direction to go in, but it is the reason I can't take this character seriously. His ninja way? How he'll always protect his friends? Sauce gay? No matter what he happens to be talking about, this character will remain a joke to me, all thanks to his voice acting. (side note, I wanna laugh at how Naruto screeches at Orochimaru that he doesn't own Sasuke, when all Naruto does is negate Sasuke's agency at every possible moment, acting like he is a disobedient child that ran away from home). Not helping this is the dialogue, which is one of those instances where it tries to be faithful and true to the source material, but ends up sounding stiff, awkward, and unnatural. You got lines that point out the obvious (*jutsu does a thing* some asshole: the jutsu is doing a thing!) which makes sense in a still image of a comic book and helps the reader, but is utterly pointless when the picture is MOVING. And of course, the one-two word farts. "Foolish" "so strong" "Know pain" "nuisance" "adjective" "its over" Ok, I kinda wanted to get that off my chest, but let close by saying when the game cuts loose and does its own thing is when it gets great. You got unique spins on things, believable imaginative translations from manga to video game. I would argue that the Ultimate Ninja Storm games are probably, so far, the best example of how to translate from one media to another in terms of visual storytelling through the action. Popular Post linkdevivo
#141 - Chalice of Torment This had me literally on the edge of my seat while playing Deadly Obsession mode. My first playthrough on easy i didn't enjoy very much to be honest, but On Deadly Obsession i fucking loved it. A good difficulty mode in video games is definitely underrated. Didn't care much about the story but i loved that the combat encounters were sparse and that the game wanted you to play stealthily. Also thank god the 100% completion trophy didn't glitch on me, i feel for the people that did encounter this glitch.

It's advisable to watch the first season at least to avoid spoilers. The story is good with not so may branches like is used for other visual novels. A lot of tropies are obtained following a specified behavior with other characters. Following a guide is higly advisable for the Platinum. To unlock collectibles you have to farm points with a cell style minigame.
Popular Post Eyjabria
Katamari Forever(PS3) Platinum Katamari Collected all trophies. Recently got the itch to start a new playthrough of Katamari Forever on my main account. The game is 9 years old and I've beaten it on my old account back in the days. Now I thought I could try to get the platinum for it. The objective of the game is to roll up all kinds of items into your sticky katamari ball, starting from tiny objects like pins and candies, increasing the katamari's size to be able to roll up bigger and bigger goodies. Eventually you can roll up humans, animals, cars, houses and even planets. The game has over 4000 different items that you must collect for a trophy. There are various challenges where you must make your katamari big enough in a limited time or make it exactly the required size. In one level you must keep your katamari burning to light up a big campfire and in another gather enough fireflies so a "Nerd boy" has enough light to read a book outside at night. There are four different game modes with slightly different mechanics. Thanks to the art style the game still looks fresh and it's just as much fun as I had remembered. Some levels are tricky and you need to learn a good route to complete them in time or you need to be extra careful so you won't roll up wrong kind of items. The best thing in addition to the addictive gameplay (I even had dreams at night where I was rolling a katamari) is the humor - there are lots of silly things hidden in the levels. There are cats wearing diving helmets under water, ghosts peeking from toilets and dogs playing poker. The music is really catchy too and quite unique. The game is sure to put a smile on anyone's face with its funny level designs and dialogue. There was some frustration involved when I couldn't get the "Prince Hop" to work consistently with the gyro controls... until I realized I can just press R2 to perform the jump. The game has occasional performance issues where the frame rate drops dramatically. Most of the time it was harmless, just a little irritating, sometimes it made it difficult to control exactly where you were going. The most difficult trophy to get was Completist (Completed 100% of the Collection) as some of the items are quite well hidden. Luckily I found discussion on some of the stuff I was missing, otherwise the platinum would have been an impossible mission for me. Overall Katamari Forever is a really nice and relaxing game and I think it has one of the most unique gameplay ideas of all time. I recommend trying it out if you feel like playing something different.
Popular Post LimitedTimeGamer
24# - Marvel's Spider-Man Be Greater Date Earned: 22 September 2018 Platinum in 2 weeks, 1 day So this one was sooooooooooo much fun! It really was a marvel to play a good spiderman game for a change. You play as a experianced spider-man in this one, and it goes through the sinister six villans + a few extras. The Main story was a lot of fun, but i felt that stealth was really strict, and i failed a few times for no reason. Its not a perfect game either, with many bugs afflicting my playthrough. It even failed to launch a few times on my MonHun Ps4Pro. This was fixed with a reboot however. Other bugs included enemies getting stuck in buildings more than once. Overall a really fun game and i am looking forward to the DLC. My Tip: If a backpack is stuck in a wall near the UN, look for a street to go under. I originally thought it was a bug, but someone on reddit helped me out.
