Popular Post Willstown
Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor Master of Mordor One has walked in Mordor. One of the oldest unplayed games in my backlog. Still kinda fun, did feel a little dated. Trophy set nice and easy, not sure I'll be going back for the DLC anytime soon though.
Popular Post Crocky321
Color Guardians Legendary Win all trophies in the game! Overall a fairly simple and fun game. But some trophies were very difficult. Such as completing the last boss level without dying and completing the credits took some concentration and determination

Popular Post Rick_Sanchez
Platinum trophy: 224 Fun: 9/10 Difficulty: 6.5/10 with DLC, 7.5 without DLC Time: 112 hrs I think the developers got the message that doing everything in the last game was way too much. This is nowhere near as bad as the 1st game in terms of completion time. There's a lot of gameplay changes that fixes a ton of what was wrong with the 1st game. The combat flows more quickly and you can see where the crystal affects on the field instead of having to select it like in the 1st game. Moe killing is much simpler to where it shows what each phrase does so you don't select the wrong thing to make things worse for yourself. The true ending is one of those you gotta look up the guide to not miss an event type ending. Even after you get a ton of grinding done to level up your gear you're still going to need luck and patience. Get use to seeing the game over screen.
Popular Post Omar
#132 - Dragon Quest XI Living Legend - Awarded for earning all available trophies Achieved: October 9th, 2018 PSNP's RS: Rare Difficulty: 5 (Draconian Quest Restrictions ON) Enjoyment: over 9,000 I finally obtained my first platinum trophy since June! After living through what I call "Summer of Switch" I could finally return to PS4 and I'll probably stay around for a while now! I am a Dragon Quest regular, having played every mainline entry except DQX through to completion. As such, I was pretty hyped coming into this one, and it quickly escalated to become my favorite entry in the series! Dragon Quest XI offers a FULL journey, intriguing, exciting, magical and properly tied up which makes use of an incredible number of narrative twists and turns that keep the player captivated, or at least they worked with me! Best cast in the series, most refined gameplay and a game that looks GORGEOUS. Series newcomers won't even notice this, but the game's music leaves much to be desired for 2 reasons: -It's recorded as MIDI and not orchestrated -It reuses tracks from several other games in the series (DQIV, V, VI, VIII, etc....) When it comes to trophies themselves, the list is quite manageable for a JRPG and I barely had to grind for the purpose of trophies. If you play the game on its standard setting you won't find much of a challenge, but I like challenge so I went for Draconian Quest right off the bat, and that's part of the reason why my journey is a 170-hour one. Game can get TRICKY and that forced me to find strategies and ways around mighty foes, it was super exciting! All in all, this game is the best JRPG of the year and I will forever treasure it. I had the goal of acing it before Soul Calibur VI arrives and I made it with 10 days to spare so I'll play some Celeste in the meantime!

Popular Post Gommes_
#94 Marvel's Spider-Man - Be greater This game was worth the hype. While it's no masterpiece the game was really, really great! I loved the city, the graphics, the (surprisingly) good story and the characters. It does not revolutionize the open world but it's just fun to swing around the city and do stuff. Just after a while, some of the side mission were a little tedious and later on in the game, the action was a little too hectic. But besides that PS4 owners should definitely check that out. Popular Post B1rvine
Twisted Metal I am Sweet Tooth At 0.34%, this is my rarest platinum to date. I'm currently the 18th fastest platinum achiever. I'm so thrilled! In case you've been living under a rock, Sony has the stated they're shutting off the servers on the 15th of October. Being I hadn't started the game with less than 30 days notice, it was quite an exhilarating experience. I'll just give a tip for the final level for those struggling: use the race car. Speed is the most important thing, since otherwise the obstacle course will be awful. The game itself is above average. Blah blah blah, that's your review. But still man, the ending hits you so hard. It's just heartbreaking ? But that's the brilliance of Telltale games. They're gutwrenching for most of the time and yet they make you keep coming back for more. They know how to tell a thrilling story which makes it all the more tragic they ended up bust ? Anyway, at least there's still a few more TWD games I haven't played yet. Popular Post Elvick_
Platinum #146 Astro Bot: Rescue Mission Star Lord You collected all ASTRO BOT Rescue Mission™ trophies. You rock! Now, time to get out and see the real world! I would've liked this to be my 150th milestone, but I couldn't resist finishing it. The idea of playing something else (multiple things) just to put this one off wasn't appealing. Not a big deal to me. I compare this a lot to Tearaway in the way that it uses PS VR and the DS4. Tearaway really mastered the use of PS VIta's features, and involved the player in such great ways that it was something special. And this is like that, but for VR. It's easily my favorite VR game thus far. I can't even imagine going back to flat 3D platformers now. The level of scale is incredible, and the level design being so vertical and three dimensional is amazing. It was just a super fun time. And pleased the inner child in me. The music was super catchy and pleasant. The graphics are excellent, especially the water, the audio design is really good as well. The way sound changes when you're underwater is a great touch as well. It wasn't too hard to play though World 5's boss gave me a few problems in not getting hit. And a couple of the timed challenges took practice. But it was a fun platinum to get. Which is always nice. And the collectables were largely easy to find on your own so weren't a pain like so many other VR games with them. I'm just sad it's over honestly. I want more. I like my plat screen too. Love the framework of the story told thru DVD commentary on a old film. Nothing fancy, but simple and entertaining none-the-less. Pretty easy platinum, too. Play the story and hunt a few collectibles. Next project is squaring up my next milestone, trophy #4000. Popular Post Dragon-Archon
#193: Toukiden The Age of Demons October 7 2018 First of all, I'd like to thank @viech54 and @ab4h4r4k1 for exchanging avatars with me, which allowed me to use their avatars as A.I. party members. As usual, I'll start with some of the good things about this game. I liked the story, it's nothing original for a monster hunting game though: humanity is losing -> player character arrives to turn the tide. In this game an event occurred 8 years prior to the start of the game where oni (demons) invaded the human world. Only Slayers can defeat these demons and purify them. I also liked how a special ability (Eye of Truth) makes it possible to see the health bar and breakable parts. These parts are also colour-coded to indicate how close they are to breaking. Now for the bad things *cracks knuckles*. First of all, the game has no f#$%ing jump feature, while there are large oni that sometimes don't even fit on the screen. What kind of idiot thought that shouldn't warrant jumping. Two out of 6 weapons have a leap attack, which is the closest thing to jumping. There's also a bow, but it's not that good due to not being able to track oni fast enough. Some large oni receive a huge speedboost when they're in perma-rage mode. The biggest grinds in this game are to obtain at least 1 of every material for the slayer record + area record and collecting all mitama (souls of fallen heroes that grant abilities and buffs). Collecting 1 of every material applies to both enemy drops and materials that are found in mission areas. To make things worse: the post-game maps have a completely new list of materials (both for areas and enemies). In addition to that: there's a specific material (Eye of Truth Mask) that can only be obtained by breaking every part of large oni. However, breaking every part doesn't guarantee an Eye of Truth Mask will be obtained. Oh no, you just have a chance to obtain it. And this material must be obtained for every single large oni to completely fill out the slayer record. Areas can also have an Eye of Truth Mask as a pickup reward, but again, this is random and has to be obtained for every area to fill out the area record. As if all that wasn't bad enough, materials obtained for completing a mission doesn't even count towards the slayer record and area record. Which means it's necessary to obtain the Eye of Truth Mask 30 times (once for every area and once for every large oni). There are also small, grunt oni that have enemy drops, but luckily no Eye of Truth Mask. But fear not, the developer found a way to add annoying things for small oni too. There are special version of a few small oni that only spawn after killing the regular version and coming back to the area. Besides that, there are shadow oni, which are usually invisible and can only be seen with the Eye of Truth ability. However, these shadow oni have a chance to spawn. The A.I. party members get in the way most of the time, as there's no way to issue commands. For example: after a part has been broken, it must be purified. Otherwise the oni can regenerate it and that wouldn't count as breaking all parts. When breaking a part it's random whether or not the A.I. helps out with purification or keeps attacking. Another thing is the A.I. continuously attacking parts that have been broken, which deals more damage. That in turn makes it needlessly harder to break all parts before the oni is defeated. Or when an oni uses an AoE attack that lingers, the A.I. just charges through it, instead of going around it. How hard would it be for the developer to add a command system so that the retarded A.I would prioritize purification, hang back, go all out, or even focus on reviving? Apparently not that hard, as it's been added in Toukiden Kiwami. It's possible to take fewer party members, but this results in fights taking longer to finish, which is highly unwanted when farming for mitama. There are 200 mitama in the game and about 5 are story-related. The rest has to be farmed from oni. Mitama have a chance to be dropped from oni and you can't just fight the easiest mission ~195 times. Nope, mitama are dropped only by fighting the correct oni in the correct map. Of course there are different drops in the post-game maps. Then there are story missions and online missions. You've probably guessed it by now: some mitama are exclusive to story missions due to the area-oni combination. It's actually better to use the online missions, as it's possible to use other players' avatars as NPCs during these. Not only are those a huge improvement over regular A.I. members in terms of damage output and skills, but it's possible to stack a buff that increases the chance to obtain a mitama. Each player character can have 2 of these Heroes Guidance buffs, so a party has a maximum of 8. The avatars I received both had 2 of these buffs, which didn't disappear after a mission. That's right, having these buffs on your own character means it'll disappear after completing a mission. Obtaining them is up to RNG too, as one is obtained by visiting the Pool of Purity with a specific character. This character is fixed and only changes when completing a mission. The other one is obtained by making a donation to the offering box. This last one can be save scummed though. Remember those shadow oni I mentioned earlier? Well, those have a grand total of 24 mitama too. There are 2 shadow oni and there's one for each map and post-game map. Getting them to spawn (and more importantly, obtaining the mitama) is up to RNG too. There are 2 DLC packs that have guaranteed shadow oni spawns, which makes it possible to obtain 8 out of those 24 mitama. I eventually caved in and bought them. There was also an error in this mitama checklist: Kajiwara Kagetoki isn't obtained from Honour Bloodhunter, but Honour Manhunter. I wasted a lot of time trying to obtain it from Bloodhunter. After 50 attempts, I moved on to shadow oni farming and got it the first time from Manhunter. I can't believe no one updated the checklist in the ~4 years since the game has been released. One final thing I'd like to point out is how easy it is to be knocked back or even ragdolled by large oni to the point it's incredibly cheap. For example: when an oni starts to fly, lands, or even roars, you're knocked back. Getting hit with attacks results in ragdolling for 10 kilometers. And the oni love to spam the same attacks a few times in a row. So, recapping: I do NOT recommend this game at all. It has huge, pointless grinds, retarded A.I, and terrible RNG. You'd be better off with Toukiden Kiwami, as the trophy for completing the slayer record is removed and a few things are improved. Popular Post Omar
#133 - Celeste Heartbeat - Unlock every trophy Achieved: October 11th, 2018 PSNP's RS: Uncommon Difficulty: 10 (Assist Mode OFF) - 0 (Assist Mode ON) Enjoyment: 8 (Assist Mode OFF) - 0 (Assist Mode ON) A chronology of my contact with this game: 1 - I saw it got glowing reviews and amazing scores 2 - People on Twitter said it was brutal, got me intrigued 3 - Came to PSNP after a while and saw many people got the platinum which turned me off because I wanted a challenge 4 - Bought the game anyway, only to find out it has an Assist Mode, but I didn't know how it worked 5 - Decided to do it the way the developers intended players to, or at least try my best And that's how my journey started. Not only does this game touch on very important issues, but it also does so in style. Super solid, fun platforming and a great learning curve allowed me to play through the main levels and collect every strawberry and other collectibles without using Assist Mode once. Then came the B-Sides, harder versions of each level. I STRUGGLED, I SUFFERED YET I CONQUERED. I did not use Assist Mode. And when I thought I was done, then came the C-Sides, short, ultra-hard versions of each level and the game got me good here LMAO I prevailed in the first five levels but the last 3........I decided to turn on Assist Mode and I was shocked to find out it's more like God Mode, as it makes you invincible and you can just dash through the levels as if they were empty. I used it to do those last 3 C-Sides but I am really glad I didn't use it before, as it takes the fun and the challenge completely away from the experience. If you go for it, make sure you try to get as far as you can without Assist Mode and, when it gets too rough for you, don't hesitate to turn it on, it'll save the day!

Popular Post kaluna1
#29 Danganronpa 1・2 Reload First of all, really fun games. I wasn't really planning to go for trophies here, and didn't even look at what was required until beating the first game. I like to keep my first playthroughs natural, it's especially important with story heavy/spoiler heavy games like this. But once I learned not only was nothing missable, but it had an extremely flexible save system, I decided to take the plunge. Seriously, this game's save system should be industry standard. No matter what chapter or game mode you save in, it keeps your total progress in all relevant statistics. So you never really had to keep track of anything, if you just kept plugging away everything would get done eventually. So that allowed me to enjoy both stories normally, and then just worry about any cleaning up after. Just a really good quality of life feature, there are some other games I didn't bother with trophies that I might have done if they had nice features like this. The game was still a grind, but I'm more likely to grind in games I really like. Plus it was the kind of grind that once you get used to you can just autopilot it while listening to a podcast or something. Looking forward to UDG and D3 now.

Popular Post Rick_Sanchez
Platinum #225 Fun: 7/10 Difficulty: 6.5/10 Sadly, this platinum is no longer possible as of the end of June. Unless you have all of the online trophies and minor miscalculation you're SOL if you want this trophy. The game on Mercenary difficulty is hard but fair. There are a few areas where the game is blatantly giving you the middle finger but if you set up your turrets and farm rift energy you can just have the turrets kill everything before they become a problem. Checkpoints are sporadic, they sometimes let you farm things, sometimes you don't get to. The hardest part was defending a bomb but setting up a supply bunker, dropping 3 turrets on top of it, dropping a few turrets on top of an area where enemies spawn in at, dropping a lot of turrets around the bomb, and building a few beam turrets and turning them into AA guns will get you by it. That strategy works most of the time. Anyway, it's not difficult on mercenary difficulty is what I'm getting it as long as you prepare.

Popular Post StraightVege
#175 - Rocketbirds 2: Evolution A fairly fun little shooter to platinum, despite some questionable design decisions. This game could do with less of the needless backtracking, and the boring "take control of an enemy" puzzles. A quick menu or hotkeys to manage the many weapons would've been nice, too. Grinding through the second half of the game (Rescue Mode) gets repetitive fast, but fortunately, it doesn't take very long. Not much challenge to speak of, as the only difficult trophy is "UFO Hit and Run," which requires a bit of practice.

I think after my major disappointment with Batman, I became a little skeptical of Telltale's stuff.. I was kind of on the fence of even getting this one, but couldn't find anything else I wanted at my local GameStop when they had that 3 for $25 special. Which I'm extremely happy about now. This was definitely one of their better offerings, in my opinion. Maybe not quite as good as when they were at their peak (TWD, TWAU, and TftB), but as close to it as they had come in awhile. Loved the humor in it. And it's got me wanting to rewatch the first movie, and check out the second. Spoiler
