Popular Post I need more BIOSHOCK
Platinum 500 Being a massive horror fan since I was a kid I knew I was going to love this and it did not disappoint! The only things I hate about it, all online trophies and way too many shitty toxic gamers around for this one. Be prepared to delete tonnes of messages from idiots. For the most part it really isn’t that bad but with all online only games there are always going to be some really stupid pain in the arse trophies and the few with this game are just that. For the skilled huntress trophy I just messaged any random survivors I got paired with and most of them were happy to help out and farm bloodpoints and heals for themselves after I downed them throwing hatchets at them from afar. Same for all the nurse trophies because that killer is worse than useless. I’ve seen a lot say that that killer is the best in the game but no she is not. She is a useless mong! Then there is the stupid bullshit trophy that all 4 survivors need to escape through the hatch together at the same time. Why!? Absolute pain the arse that should never have been added to the list. Another case of messaging the random killer to see if they will help when there are 4 of you in a crew. 50/50 if they will or not, I did it quite a few times helping others and most of the time it was all good apart from one leather face killer that just downed every one of us with his chainsaw at the hatch and killing us. You do encounter so many ARSEHOLES on this game. Asking randoms to assist is the only option with this as boosting is not easy to do. I tried many times with 4 survivors to get paired with a friend as the killer and I’ve never seen it work once. Only time I seen it happen was when I searched solo as a survivor and got paired with my friend as the killer. We are both from UK and found each other very easily. Any games I had I was always happy to help anyone that asked and it really pissed me off when you get those shitty survivors that fuck others over by just escaping and wasting their time. It happened to me one game when I was going for the adept nurse trophy. The other 3 were cool then this wankstain escapes just so he can get a few easy trophies that require no effort at all. Got an absolute tonne of abuse and I really do hope that you get roundhoused to the balls preventing you from breeding any more of your kind. So yes, apart from shit online trophies and far too many arseholes this is one hell of an enjoyable game that always keeps you wanting more. I’d say I’ve sunk way over 200 hours in so far and I’m still not bored with it. I took a break away for a week at one point when I dreamt that some of the survivors turned up at my house trying to blow up my boiler, then the hag jumped over the fence trying to eat my cat and I couldn’t get rid of them for ages then had a baldy Dwight and Claudette teabagging my backdoor lol. As the Halloween sale has all the DLC up I’ve got me the saw killer and Michael Myers. Pro tip to anyone before you waste any money, the spirit killer/clown killer and survivors can be bought using the blue shard currency you get every time you level up each costing 9000. I discovered this one day when the latest spirit killer arrived. Popular Post dermarx
#100 Nier Automata Enjoyment 9/10 Difficulty 3/10 Finally hit platinum #100. I bought Nier Automata a few weeks ago in a sale. Love the game and the controls as well as the soundtrack, so I decided to make this one my #100. Nier Automata is never unfair to the player because the enemys always have the same level as the player (or close enough to your level). Only really difficult thing is the secret boss 'Emil'. It is a lot of grinding to collect everything for upgrading your Pods and Weapons and of course EXP and money. It was fun finishing it. One of the best games I ever played. Popular Post Justin__Harris
Platinum #54: Spider-Man (PS4) Game Score: 8/10 Platinum Difficulty: 3/10 Oh hey, look at that. I platinum'd the same game that a bunch of other people got a platinum in. And I know they say the title is Marvel's Spider-Man, but F that. Everything is Marvel this, and Marvel that. Movies, TV, video games. We get it. Marvel did it! Marvel is God! Pffff. Anyway, I haven't played a Spider-Man game in a really long time. The last ones I played were Spider-Man for Sega Genesis and the horrendous, but now super pricey and rare, The Amazing Spider-Man: Web of Fire on 32X. My brother had the 3D ones on Dreamcast, but I never got around to playing it. And I'm glad I waited because with modern technology and graphics, this game certainly gave me the full feeling of feeling like that wise-cracking webslinger. This game is really fun to play and I really can't say anything that's already been said about it with the praise. Some faults of the game are that it had various glitches. The best part was when I was playing against Mister Negative and I kept throwing things at him and attacking him for literally 20 minutes and was like, WTF? How the hell do you beat him? So I looked up a video to find I was doing everything right, but for whatever reason the game fucked up and wouldn't go to the cinematic when he was beaten. So I just reloaded my checkpoint and beat him easily in 5 minutes. Then there are some cut scenes where the voices were way off and certain animations looked incomplete. Little things like that are very annoying. It's like when you see a $200 million movie and the CGI looks like shit. No excuse! But the game is very good. The platinum is tedious, but very easy to get... I think like half of the people playing it are able to easily get the plat. Popular Post Dead Weight
#199 Punchline Trophy images are lame for this game I picked it up because Uchikoshi (the director of the Zero Escape trilogy) was the writer for the anime and the game I WANTED TO LOOK AT PANTIES! There's anime of this and the game tells the same story, maybe just extra characterization and fluff since its 21 chapters compared to the anime's 12 episodes. The story is okay, really it uses a lot of similar plot devices that Zero Escape uses. But its more upbeat and takes it self less seriously than Zero Escape. DID I FORGET TO MENTION PANTIES? BECAUSE YOU NEED TO LOOK AT ALL OF THEM FOR THE PLATINUM \ Anyway, 200's going to be a good one.
Popular Post Phoenix_argentea
New Platinum No. 85 Shadow of the Colossus (PS4 remake) The horned boy First of all, I think they should do a VR experience only for wandering around the land, because it’s really beautiful and I like this union of nature and ruins. I’d put a tent in the circle area with the water in the north-west area of the map (just before the Coliseum with the 8th Colossus) and I’d stay there for a long time (you have fresh water and some fruits around, so no problems!). ? Seriously, I think it took inspiration from Rime (another artistic game that I liked so much) for the ruins and the nature, but I have to remember this is a PS2 2005 game, so it's Rime that took inspiration from Shadow of the Colossus. Okay, now the game. I’ve never played this, so it was a blind run, and it was an unique experience. You have to study and understand how to defeat every Colossus (and sometimes a bit of luck. For example, after numerous attempt to climb Gaius, I made him hit the iron circle by accident, and I said: “Wow! That’s why there was that circle. Now it’s my turn!”). I spent something like 6 hours and a half, wandering in this beautiful land, killing Colossi and collecting lizard and fruits. And some platform sections like Prince of Persia. After that the Normal Attack Mode was really easy. Then, on my second run on hard + no death, I finished it in 2 h 28 min (and I’m proud of this. Yes, I know there are better speedruns, but I like my result. I used only a mask and a mantle to upgrade Wander’s attack). ? After this there’s the hardest part on the platinum path: the Hard Time Attack (HTA). Most of them didn’t gave me any trouble, but I left Gaius (No. 3) and Argus (No. 15) for the last attempts, because I knew they were the most annoying (but they are also my favourites due to their amazing soundtrack, so this was a good reason to make them less frustrating). I know on PS3 version Gaius is a nightmare and you have to beat him in 5 minutes or less, but I managed to defeat him on the PS4 version on my first attempt on 4:50! ?(yes, it’s beginner’s luck! But I’m sure I won’t manage it in the PS3 version). When I saw that time i said:”Seriously?! On my first try?! Ok, Argus, you’re the final one!”)… ? Well, with Argus I ended in 9:36 (after four attempts) because I wasted time for two reasons: Argus threw me down through the bridge (I made him leave the sword, so he didn’t destroy the central bridge, then he moved under it and when I was ready to jump on him he moved his arm through the bridge, hit me and made me fly in the air. “What?! Are you kidding me, right?”), and the second it’s quite obvious, since he didn’t smash his hand on the floor, just once before the 10 minutes limit (luckily). The worst one? Number 12 Pelagia. I liked it in the first run. Then I hated him on the HTA, because when he was supposed to stand up near the roof shrines he always wandered around and I had to hit with arrows to make him come back and (maybe) stand up. ? After the HTA there’s a little bit of grinding in order to max out health and stamina: just kill over and over the first two Colossi. Then, the long climbing to the secret garden and the 7 minutes marathon on the bridge to the gates. The music it’s amazing. I am one who really cares for the soundtracks since they make the games more enjoyable and unforgettable (I really love Shimomura’s works, Final Fantasy and NieR’s soundtracks ?), and this one it’s outstanding. Really really good (and surely I’m strange and curious, but on my second run I played Ashes of dreams [NieR o.s.t.] in the ending and it really fits it thanks to its melancholy. Maybe because the endings of the two games are a little bit similar, it’s just my opinion, maybe there’s nothing between them, but I liked this effect). The story it’s also good, simple but it works. You have to strike down 16 Colossi in order to bring back to life your beloved. Just a little bit criptic in the ending (but I think I understood what “The horned boy” platinum title refers to). Only one thing I don’t get it: How could Agro survive from that fall just before the final battle? With only a broken hoof? And he also managed to come back to the temple with little time? Man, I’d surely turn into dust from that height! About the graphics, it’s amazing, there’s nothing else to add. This remake it’s excellent. The water and its physics are really well done (and they are what hit my attention!). Surely I advise this wonderful game to everyone, I think it's an artistic experience. ? Fin. P.S.: I hope I didn’t annoy the reader. ? I know I’m prolix when I write something about what I really like, because I try to express what I felt, especially to someone who didn’t play and knows nothing about the subject. It's just something I like doing. =) Edited October 18, 2018 by Phoenix_argentea

Shout-out to @fbdbh for making a trophy guide for this game. It helped me a lot to find my way back in to the world. Game is pretty easy and took about 10 hours to the Platinum. Popular Post Carol
#141 Detroit: Become Human DETROIT MASTER Collected all trophies! I really like Quantic Dream's games and this game was no exception. It's a very well-made game and a very enjoyable and interesting story about the struggle of Androids for freedom. You can choose to be peaceful or to be violent, but, in my opinion, the story is much more beautiful if you decide for peaceful actions. My favourite playable character was Kara. She's a very sweet and "human" Android and her story is very interesting and emotional. She was the character I cared the most about and I always tried to keep her safe. Obviously, the game wants you to like Androids and their cause, so sometimes it was hard to play as Connor, the Android sent to investigate deviants. I could never really find the strength to harm them, when playing as Connor. I also really liked Hank, Connor's troubled human partner. It was good, although sometimes challenging to become his friend. The third and final playable character is Markus, the charismatic and persuasive Android leader. He's definitely a strong character. Trophy-wise, the platinum is easy. It's mostly about doing different choices and collecting magazines. Emotionally, however, these platinums are never easy for me, because they force you to do violent/evil playthroughs or to fail with certain characters, on purpose, for certain trophies. I hate having to do this, for a trophy, but what can I do? I'm a trophy hunter!

Popular Post AJ_Radio
Platinum #167: Deadpool (October 11th, 2018) Difficulty: 4/10 Excitement: 8/10 Estimated Time to Platinum: 12 - 15 Hours Hardest Trophy: It's a trap! (Score a combo of 75 or more while fighting up the stairs at the "Front Gates of EEEEEEEVIL!") Deadpool marks the first game in several months that I rented from Gamefly, with the last title being The Book of Unwritten Tales 2. It is one of many games that Activision has pulled from the Store, making it now a physical only game. As the title suggests, you are Deadpool, the supposed "merc with the mouth" with a can of whoop ass and a holier than thou attitude. Deadpool is sent a script from an studio worker, or what I think is a studio worker, and later does his own editing. And the game begins. Deadpool is a hack and slash title, and doesn't do too bad of a job for a superhero who is owned by Marvel. The game is full of humor and blood and gore, with Deadpool providing all the attitude and big talk. Killing enemies awards the player with tokens, which give Deadpool points which are used for upgrades to turn Deadpool from badass to super badass. Tokens are also found in various areas of any given level, with some giving more points than others. You can replay any level in the game to get more points, so upgrading is fairly straight forward and easy. This game contains a lot of pop culture references, as I expected from Deadpool who himself is full of comedy and humor. Nolan North provides the voice for Deadpool, which is both a good thing and a bad thing. Nolan is a talented voice actor, able to portray sadistic characters and serious characters, but also able to express a range of comedy, and that's just what he does here in this game. But far too often his 'Nathan Drake' voice pops out, and much like Spec Ops: The Line I expected Sully to come out and give me some advice. The controls are easy to get used to. The graphics aren't impressive considering that this is a port of the original PS3/Xbox 360 version, but they're alright. There is nothing too difficult in this game, with only a couple sections giving me several attempts. Playing on Normal difficulty and then on Hard was a good choice because you keep all the upgrades you bought in your previous playthrough, and like most games, enemies are a lot tougher in Hard. Deadpool provides challenges which put you against waves of enemies. Bronze, Silver and Gold tiers provide more difficult waves respectively, but with a fully upgraded Deadpool I didn't find anything too difficult. Deadpool may not appeal to everybody especially if you never read the comics or watched his movies. But it is a superhero game that I feel people should give at least one try. It doesn't do anything outstanding or great, but it's quite serviceable for what it is, a comic book superhero who finally got his own title. Popular Post dmland12
#70: Laser League The Real Laser Lord So, this one is a grind, but at least now I'm apparently a real laser lord. Laser League is out on PS+ this month, and is pretty fun & competitive. And although the trophies look very difficult right now, they're mostly just grindy. It's multiplayer only, so the main annoyance is that sometimes the players you're randomly teamed up with are really really bad. It's probably a good thing I didn't use a mic while playing this. ? As for the gameplay, it's a team based (2v2 or 3v3) arena game. There's lots of lasers that move around. If your team activates a laser it's your color and safe for you to pass through, but deadly for the other team. It can get rather hectic. There's 6 different classes with 3 modifiers each that you can choose from. 4 are offensive classes, one will help you steal opponents' lasers to your own color, and one is defensive (temporary invulnerability). So there's a lot of variety there. Overall, it seems like a well balanced multiplayer game that rewards good play and punishes bad play. I had a good time with it, and will probably play some more past the platinum.

After a lot of fun in 100%ing the main game, and a lot of daily challenges for the final level of awesomeness, I finally got the Rayman Legends platinum - today, October 19th 2018, while I got the first trophy October 20th 2014, I did not notice this until just after synching my profile here for the platinum. It's one of the best platforming games of the past years and I recommend it to anyone who is not against playing platformers. It's my very first ultra rare platinum in the PSNP calculations. It's not too difficult, it just needs a lot of commitment, especially concerning the daily challenges.

Popular Post Asvinia
#35. Aven Colony A good entrance to city-builder sims I guess, not very hard and with almost no depth. If you're already more experienced with city builders, go for Tropico or Cities: Skylines. I swear the story for Aven Colony was originally a 4chan greentext, not greatly implemented either. But then I don't know how you would implement a better story for a city sim game. At times it felt like it was far too slow, even when on x8 speed and there's a lot of just sitting, waiting for stuff. This might sound typical for a city builder but I'm telling you, it feels so much slower than other games. In the end, it was okay, an easy plat but otherwise kind of meh. Wish I'd bought Cities: Skylines instead.
