Popular Post Conor
#8- KINGDOM HEARTS II FINAL MIX (PS3) KINGDOM HEARTS II Master Enjoyment: 10/10 Single Run, 8/10 Platinum Run Difficulty: 5/10 Rarity: 2.3% Ultra Rare (PSN) / 10.12% Rare (PSNProfiles) Time Taken: 2 Weeks, 2 Days, 1 Hour (75 Hours in-game time) Hardest Trophy: Critical Competitor (Gold)- Clear game on Critical Something something DARKNESS something... Well at least this was far more enjoyable than the last one! Truth be told, I have loved Kingdom Hearts II since it released and it is in my Top 5 PS2 games of all time and proably would be in my Top 10 games overall as well. It took everything great about the first one and made it so much better! There's so much to love about this game and really only a few nitpicks that don't take away from the overall experience in any significant way. Improved control, combat and Gummi Ships are but a taster of how amazing this game was to me as a Disney-loving teenager. Sure, this is where the story of the series began to spiral into incoherence but for what it is, Kingdom Heart II is a masterpiece of its era. The Final Mix version brings a whole bunch of new stuff to the table. I loved the idea of battling the Organisation XIII members I'd bumbed off in Chain of Memories but under different conditions. I liked the extra challenges that it threw at me overall, but sometimes things did get frustrating on Critical mode. I made a big mistake at the beginning so when I get to the PS4 version, note to self: Pick. The Shield. I have a habit of rabbiting on about games in this thread so I'll refrain from doing so here, may go more in-depth when I plat the PS4 version later this year. My journey to platinum all Kingdom Hearts games before Kingdom Hearts III drops is well underway now, and since I'm more refreshed on the game, it shouldn't take me so long next time! Now, onwards to the real grind that is Kingdom Hearts: Birth By Sleep... Edited October 23, 2018 by LepreCon1991
Popular Post erwint0920
#32 Sims 4 - 2.13% Ultimate Sim GuruEarn all trophies. Yessssss!!! Finally, this one took me forever to get, I was getting frustrated with this game. Don't get me wrong I love the Sims but only when I play it like it should be played. But when I went going for all the trophies it just got so boring after a while, mainly the skill and career trophies, some of them took way longer then others. The last two trophies I needed were 'Basketcase' and 'Triple Play'. Getting triplets was annoying at best, and I also screwed up one time when I got one set of triplets I found out that I hadn't saved a seperate file, so I couldn't go to the save before labor and move them in. So I had to retry but thankfully I got it like two hours later. Basketcase was also quite annoying but I got it in three times. the first time I tried getting the sad emotion (which was the last emotion I needed) by using a emotional painting but it wasn't working. so after trying to get help from the forum here I killed a random Sim and let my Sim mourn and got it that way. But anyway great game, but when going for all the trophies quite boring. Edited October 22, 2018 by erwint0920
Popular Post Viscera1900
#193 - Gravity Rush 2 Ultimate Shifter "Collected every trophy." Enjoyment: 10/10 Difficulty: 3/10 I absolutely love this game. It started really slow, but once you get to explore the world and do some side quests; it gets really good. One of the best things about this game is the soundtrack; absolutely fell in love with it! The overall story, characters and art really hooked me in. It's been 5 years since I played the original Gravity Rush, so unfortunately I don't exactly remember everything that happened in that game, but it did feel awesome to return to the world of Gravity Rush. Now I really feel sad that I have to leave this game behind and move on the other games. A red pineapple Fell from the sky... Right on my left pinky toe It hurts like heaven I want more pineapples on my pinky toes!
Popular Post SSheepGuy
KINGDOM HEARTS Master Obtain all trophies. I did it! For my next game, should I play Yakuza 0? I've been interesting in playing it and getting the platinum. It seems like a GTA game set in Japan. Also, what difficulty should I play on since this is my first time getting into the series?
Popular Post Sergen
GTA Vice City: Platinum #127 Difficulty: 3/10 Time Taken: 30 hours With that, I now have one of each GTA platinum, I just need to do the PS4 version of San Andreas to have the full set. I did take my time with this and have a big break, because Twisted Metal was announced to shut down so I had to prioritise that. I did this game just in time for the release of Red Dead Redemption 2, so I'm glad I don't have to worry about finishing this game now. Although I really enjoyed this game, I have to say for some reason that I can't really play games like this a lot in one sitting, I always took frequent breaks from it. I did start the game and get Take the Cannoli early on, because after getting 100% on the game, the last thing I wanted to worry about was that. What I'm not looking forward to with San Andreas is the fact that cheats disable every trophy, since I've become too used to just spamming the cheats on GTA 3 and Vice City. 100% completion on this game requires more than you would have to do on GTA 3, but this game also has the option to see the full map, which does make it a lot more pleasant to play compared to GTA 3. The PS4 GTA Games do go on sale a lot and I highly recommend them for some simple and enjoyable platinums. Of course, the games do have collectables just like any game would, but they're not too bad compared to other open world games.
Popular Post J2V89
#167: Warhawk Warhawk Supreme Achievement All your base trophies are belong to platinum. After 197 hours, it's finally over. One thing I learned was I should had got this done when I got the game. Man, this was a grind and it's all I played since the announcement of the servers closing. Had many times servers giving me errors at times. Longest part of the grind was the Air-To-Air kills and the XP to rank up. Nearing the end, I just listened to music so I wouldn't get bored. Playing the PS1 version of Warhawk years ago motivated me to go for this. Glad I made it just in time.
blu3st4rdust305
Madden NFL 18 - PS4 (#119) Decided to nab this one on a whim when it was deeply discounted. Never having any experience in video game football (hand-oval-not-futbol) since NFL Blitz back in the day, this was a bit of a daunting learning curve. The game has a very deep system to bring you up the learning curve thru all of the various mechanics and play calls. Investing a little bit of time in the skills trainer section paid off big time. What surprised me most was the depth of the Longshot single player story mode. Initially, it felt tacked on as a small detail on a larger finished product. What I found was a well developed, if short, story of a former college player trying to find his back into the big leagues. A little silly, but certainly easy to get invested into long enough to make it to the end quickly. The trophy list is quite easy when broken down into sections, with the most challenging bits being a couple of skill/situational luck scenarios and the Full Set trophy requiring you to win a game with all 32 wins. Overall, I was very impressed by the product and the experience, even though it clearly is not something I will invest a great deal of time into moving forward.
Popular Post DarkSoleride
Title: Epic Mickey 2: Power of Two Name: Can I Get A Pin of That? Platinum Achieved: 23/10/18 Fun Factor 8/10 Difficulty 8/10 (Damn Auto-Save) Platinum Rarity: PSNP 0.71% // PSN 0.5% So here we are back again with a shiny new platinum trophy and another one from my PS Vita backlog. Well since Kingdom Hearts III is soon approaching i have been in a weird mood to play some Disney games more specifically ones with Mickey Mouse! Why? Because you NEVER GET TO PLAY AS MICKEY IN KINGDOM HEARTS DAMN IT! So i went for Epic Mickey 2! This game is well absolutely fantastic and i am disappointed in myself for not playing it sooner! You play as Mickey Mouse and if you have a second Vita you can play as Oswald the Lucky Rabbit too! This was to shine more light on Oswald since he is basically a forgotten character in the Disney world. You have to navigate through the worlds as the Mad Doctor is trying to destroy the various towns. Mean Street North/South, Ventureland, Rainbow Falls and so on. The gameplay is very smooth especially for the PS Vita. It does sometimes drop to about 24FPS at times when fighting bosses but otherwise hold up well. Trophy-wise (the part where most of us will be paying attention to) this game is very unforgiving. It has a Auto-Save system which basically is looking to scew you over right left and centre! You need PS+ Cloud Saving if you are playing on Vita or on PS3 (you can USB drive if you are doing it on PS3) because your choices can lock you out of collectables or put you on the wrong path to make somebody angry which will result in quest failure and you will again lock yourself out of more trophies. I would highly recommend this trophy guide for your collectable run or "Paint run" as its called, from PStrophies.org and use @Lumpycheesegames Youtube Perfectionist / Master Pin Collector guide. These two for your first play-through is advised! Quite happy to be 57th achiever for the Vita version too which was a surprise Also forgot got to say this game has Ad-Hoc trophies so an additional copy of the game and additional PS Vita is needed to platinum this game! Otherwise fantastic game 8/10 Lumpycheesegames Guide PS Trophies Guide https://www.playstationtrophies.org/forum/epic-mickey-2-the-power-of-two/282291-epic-mickey-2-power-two-trophy-guide-road-map.html DarkSoleride Out! Popular Post snakebit10
#257 I bought this from the current Halloween sale. It is a psychological horror game. Taking place inside a women's mental hospital during the late 30's early 40's. It is told in first person view. It was cool the first time through but repeating parts to unlock other chapters got kind of boring Thankfully it didn't take to long.

Popular Post Durandal
Darksiders Warmastered Edition I started this game quite a while ago but it sort of fell of my radar. I guess I was too busy with other games but I picked up recently and finished it rather quickly. And it was a pleasant experience. I mostly like that this is not a your typical hero saves the world story but a personal antihero tale of someone who seeks redemption, of sorts. And they really did the good job telling the story, the ending is especially good for this kind of games. And the second part picks up right where this one ended. I already started the second game and it seems to be even better! I think I will finish it right in time when Darksiders III comes along. In any case if you are looking for a nice hack n' slash game with good combat mechanics and an interesting plot you really should pick this one up! Trophy-wise I think this is mostly your typical run of the mill stuff. There are a few trophies that require quite a bit of grinding, like riding your horse for 100 miles and leveling and upgrading all your weapons. And of course you have to pick up a lot of collectibles on the way too, but all in all it is still not that bad. The boss fights trophies aren't that hard either, mostly because these battles are more tactical then simply brute force, which I really enjoyed. Ironically the hardest difficulty level seems to be the hardest trophy but it is actually quite easy, if you collected the Abyssal Armor and played the second session with it. This armor is quite overpowered and you are hardly ever in danger, except maybe a few fights. But it feels rather rewarding to finish a second playthrough this way. I would recommend this rather then doing it all in one session. And the game is also rather short, took me 32 hours for the first run and 13 hours for the second one. And I am a really slow gamer! Popular Post Dragon-Archon
#195: Mind=0 In this game teenagers are transported to another world where they form contracts with other beings to fight together. These beings are called MINDs and people that have a contract are Minders. This game may be the biggest bomb of 2018 so far. It's best described as a terrible Persona clone. But, I'm getting ahead of myself: before going into details about that, let's take a look at the good things first. *Thinks long and hard for a while* right, good things about this game... oh, I got one: it's possible to equip/unequip skills in this game, provided you have the necessary skill card. That way you can adapt to new dungeons and boss fights. In case you're thinking "Is that it? Nothing else was good about the game??", then congrats; we're on the same page. And nope, that's it for the good things. The story ... well, calling it a story is actually way too much credit. Anyway, the story is very lacking and doesn't explain anything, except for the basics about MINDs. That's it, there's a very brief explanation about the bad guy's plan at the end, but the majority isn't explained. This game just feels like a prologue that overstays its welcome and it was obviously intended to have a sequel. The story also takes place over the course of 9-10 days. After the initial meeting (and getting their butts kicked), the party is somehow strong enough to defeat the bad guys 2-4 days later. The antagonists are introduced exactly halfway through the game. Before that the main characters wind up in dungeons filled with hostile MINDs that want to kill them, so the logical conclusion is to reach the end of the dungeon rather than finding the exit. Once the antagonists are introduced, not much changes. Nothing is revealed. Only after defeating each of them, you see a short scene (for a lack of better word, as it's just a black and white screen with some dialogue) that vaguely implies why they joined. Even their fate is not clear. One is confirmed to have died (for reasons unknown), one got away, and the other two... I don't know: they could be dead or escaped . If it wasn't for the confirmation about one of them dying, I never would've guessed it. Most dungeons are very uninspired and the interior is recycled often. Interiors include an abandoned factory, subway trains, pure white mental facility-ish setting, back alley shopping street where every store's shutters are closed, and some hideous thing that resembles a 3-year old's colouring book. I liked the Japanese festival-ish theme and the movie theater though. The post-game dungeon had nothing new, instead it recycled every other dungeons. Enemies are also recycled over and over again with just a palette swap. After the second dungeon there's only 1 new enemy per dungeon. There's no character growth or real events that make you care about the characters. There are 4 events per main character, but those don't add anything useful. Enhancing skills at first doesn't seem to do anything, as the skill's description doesn't reflect the changes. You need to manually equip a skill, then take a look at the stat boosts or damage inflicted to notice the difference. Also, enhancing skills in one go from start to max costs much less skill points. If you raise a skill a few levels per time, the cost goes up about 100 times. Finally, there's no item to escape from dungeons, you need to reach a warp portal. This is especially annoying in the post-game dungeon, where you need to backtrack from floor 50 to floor 42 to escape, which is BS.
Popular Post MidnightDragon
#38 Jack N' Jill DX (PS4) (NA) This is a cute and simple game. The platinum is very straightforward. However, I like how the sound, graphics, and feel remind me some of old school Game Boy games. When I saw this, it evoked Kirby's Dream Land for me. I decided to continue on after the plat and enjoying it so far.

Popular Post DamagingRob
#356- Twisted Metal I am Sweet Tooth All Trophies Well, here's a game I thought I'd never Platinum. Bought it since I liked the old Twisted Metal games, and it was a PS3 exclusive. Originally, all I was going to buy on the PS3 were games not available on the 360. But little did I know how trophies would consume me.. The high difficulty ratings scared me off right away.. But then I heard about the infinite ammo glitch, and decided to give Twisted difficulty a try (after some persuasion from @cr1s ). Even with infinite ammo, a few levels gave me some problems. And the last one damn near made me give up.. But some friendly advice from @B1rvine got me through it. But I had already agreed to boost Drawn to Death, so figured I'd have to give up my chances at the Plat, if they were closing on the 15th. When it turned out they weren't, I saw one last chance to go for it. Probably would have made or joined a session here, but @TheYuriG offered to lend a hand with it. And I have to give him a huge thank you for all his help. Though completing the online trophies was a much more difficult task than anticipated. All because of someone trying to stop people from getting the Plat. (Seems kind of silly to me. I would lend my PS3 to the cause if someone asked) But I had to run some crazy hours, sporadically sleeping for a little bit here and there, to get it done. Can finally rest, and hopefully get a good night's sleep tonight. ?

It was gonna be number 100 but then Persona 5 came out, then it was gonna be number 125 but then Final Fantasy IX came out... you get the picture. Well, that was quite the experience, I've beat this game 6 time in the past on the Gamecube, but those were just blind playthroughs, after doing everything thing the game has to offer in the PS3 version, I can't get over how much more content there is in this game, I missed out so much back in there day, seeing all the stuff I missed out on has made me love the game even more.

Popular Post Viper
#136 Metro: 2033 ReduxPlatinum Not really sure what to say about this one. In some ways, I enjoyed it...in others I'm happy it's over with. It's really kind of a slog of a game, and the way the trophy list is made, makes things VERY tedious. To the point where I don't know if I want to play Last Light anytime soon, and may be second guessing what I think about Metro: Exodus. Plus I missed fine details in the story, because those Russian accents were hard to understand...especially in scenes where their voices are muffled because of a gas mask.
