Eramir
#25: Pro Evolution Soccer 2019 Yay, my first ever soccer platinum! I have been playing PES & FIFA for a while now and this is the first time I got the platinum trophy! Enjoyed it really, it wasn’t that hard. The co-op contributer trophy was the hardest trophy. Finding people who had the same goal was the challenge. At the end I made a lobby with the name: 'co op contributer trophy’ and the people came in fast haha. The ‘Win a clan match’ trophy was the most exiting one, because I had the least influence. Those matches really felt like real matches and it also made me nervous.? I think I’ll try to go for the Ni No Kuni II platinum now, already complete it and only need to grind now
Popular Post zizimonster
#55 Burly Men at Sea Burly Men at Sea has minimalist gameplay, but the branching narrative concept is quite good. And you get to play the story twelve times to obtain all of the endings. Each playthrough ranges from 10 to 15 minutes. Since it is "free" for PlayStation Plus subscribers, time for everyone to snag that shiny 2-hour platinum trophy.

Popular Post Desmuria
#125 - Fat Princess Adventures 100% Clear Unlock all other trophies Enjoyment: 10/10 Difficulty: 5/10 So, my friend and I were looking for something to play that has online co-op. He suggested this game to me and, after waiting AGES for it to go on sale, we finally got round to playing it. Trust me when I say this: it's A LOT better than it looks and it's super fun when you play co-op. The game is brimming with puns, British slang and humour, it makes it hard not to love how cheesy it is. You eat too much cake, you get fat (or "Fat Baby" as we lovingly called it). You get to a checkpoint and the game either compliments you or insults you. The game has amusing character customisation in the "Twiddly Knobs" section, including weird skin tones and personality types. I chose the Clown personality and every time my character said she'd earned her "brown pants badge" we were in fits of hysterics. Trophy-wise, this game can be a little grindy. You need to play the main game three separate times. One on each difficulty (they don't stack). I imagine Cakemare mode (yes, that's actually a thing) is pretty tough on your own, but we managed perfectly fine playing through it together. We had a lot of laughs playing this game, totally recommended if you have people to play it with you! FOR CAKE AND COUNTRY!

Popular Post AJ_Radio
Platinum #171: Stories: The Path of Destinies (November 4th, 2018) Difficulty: 3/10 Excitement Rating: 5/10 Estimated Time to Platinum: 18 - 20 Hours Hardest Trophy: C-C-C-C-C-Combo Breaker! (Achieve a 60 hit combo.) Stories: The Path of Destinies is a little adventure game starring a courageous anthropomorphic fox named Reynardo. He comes across a magic book that reveals all the possible endings, with one ending being the true ending. Plenty of humor, dialog and combat throughout this game. The game has a rather simplistic RPG system that is easy to follow. Enemies give XP when killed, which is used to level up Reynardo. Upon each level up you can invest points in a skill tree, which further enhances Reynardo and gives him new abilities. Each new level requires more XP to level on to the next. What starts out as a fun little adventure with a sense of humor turns into a boring slog about five hours in. You have to reach all possible endings, and each playthrough takes around 30 to 40 minutes. Doing simple math, playing the game 24 times takes around 12 to 15 hours. Unfortunately there is some grinding that involves playing this game beyond the endings as chances are you won't unlock all the skills in the skill tree. This made for some monotonous grinding which really wouldn't be as bad if the game offered a bit more variety. The only changes are how you approach the end of each level, some doors require a certain sword to unlock and there are alternate paths to take. The narrator does a good job voice acting but he is the only voice you hear in the game. Couldn't a couple other voice actors pitched in? Otherwise the story is quite amusing, although certain choices you can make result in a death, which forces you to replay the entire level over again. This can be a good thing if you need to grind XP to gain skills. Stories is simply alright. I think it would of been better suited to a three to ten hour game, rather than a boring slog that far outstays it's welcome. Popular Post Durandal
Unravel The Red threat To be honest, I didn't like this game that much. It is not a bad game because the elements are all there and they work well enough, apart from a few technical irritations. My problem with this game is that it fails to connect the player with the story. Instead you get somebody else's slideshow with a generic soundtrack, and even the story is nothing but a cliché. I understand that games don't always have to tell an epic tale or turn the player into the big hero who saves the world. I actually like that Yarny isn't a hero. He is just a medium for the story. But like I said there is no connection to the story itself. I couldn't care less about the fate of the people in it because you never meet them and you don't know anything about them by the end of the game. Just that something awful has happened in the past and someone died because of this. But the worse part are all the subtle messages in form of writings in a photo album. They are all nothing but pseudo philosophical ramblings, and that annoyed the hell out of me. It is almost like a dogma. I hate dogmas! Ironically it is still a fun game. Because if you ignore the "story" you end up with a fun puzzle platformer with nice visuals, although they really should have turned down the depth of field for the background. Sometimes the whole screen is nothing but a blurry mess. And the physics/collision system can be rather strange at times, which leads to a few unpleasant situations or even unnecessary deaths. But for the most part the controls and camera work well enough. And the game mechanics itself are quite unique. Since Yarny is nothing but a string of yarn, you can do all kinds of unusual things. As for the trophies, you have to do quite a lot of fun things that involves using Yarny abilities or complete a specific task that is tied to the level itself. There are hardly any generic trophies apart from the usual collection trophy. And there is nothing challenging either, maybe the one where you have to finish every level without dying in one go. Which can be done with a little practice and (a lot) patience. And you can replay every level at any given moment. There are collectables hidden in each level but usually it doesn't require a lot of searching. To sum it up there is nothing hard or annoying about collecting trophies and there are only 25 of them, which makes this a nice and fast endeavor. Popular Post AJ_Radio
Platinum #172: Batman (November 10th, 2018) Difficulty: 1/10 Excitement Rating: 6/10 Estimated Time to Platinum: 8 - 9 Hours Hardest Trophy: I don't need to explain this game, Batman is pretty much a name everybody should be familiar with. TellTale Games does their take on Batman and it's adequate. Penguin was given a different style, being a young man donning a penguin mask as opposed to the fat, old gangster he is in the Arkham games. This game puts a lot of focus on Bruce Wayne and his deceased family. His entire legacy as well as his family is put at risk when old truths from decades earlier surface, putting Bruce himself in great danger. A cast of characters, including Harvey Dent (Two-Face), Catwoman, Penguin and a mysterious leader make a well rounded crew to move the story forward. Unfortunately this game has a lot of slowdowns, stutters and a few glitches. In one scene in the first Act, Bruce's head is turned backwards, which is funny but shows poor testing on TellTale's part. Some cutscenes were horrible because of how jagged they played out due to the stutters. For a game that isn't that big in file size TellTale could of done a lot better, but they didn't bother to iron out the performance issues. There is nothing here that hasn't already been done in other TellTale games. You are given dialog choices, but like other games there is barely any noticeable difference in how the characters react. Some choices will determine where you will be, choosing one will lock you out of the other. This I also feel has no noticeable difference, and the entire game is basically linear with no real branching paths. Play the game, earn the platinum. Nothing more I can say other than I picked this up when it was featured on Playstation Plus. Thanks for giving me a TellTale Game at least.

Popular Post Rodow_
#67 - Twin Robots (VITA) Enjoyment : 6/10 Difficulty : 3/10 A cool plateform game. Not really hard (but some trophies are bugged...) An easy platinum, in one or two hours you can finish it #68 - Jak N' Jill DX (VITA) Enjoyment : 5/10 Difficulty : 1/10 Under 20 minutes for platinum..... lol It's sad because you just need to finish one world to have all trophies. This game isn't bad, I like playing it, it's really "old school" I continue to play even if I have the platinum #69 - Tetra's Escape (VITA) Enjoyment : 5/10 Difficulty : 3/10 A simple but nice game. Easy platinum but you need to think a little to finish some levels. Again, it's bad to have platinum even if you have not finished the game... #70 - Game of Thrones (PS4) Enjoyment : 6/10 Difficulty : 1/10 I didn't see the TV Show so I hesitate a long time for playing it (got it for free on PS + some months ago) But it was time for me to play it, it's an easy platinum, like all other Telltale games I think The bad thing about this game is that your choices doesn't change a lot of things... It's like you're forced to see the death of some characters Well this game doesn't make me want to see the tv show lol but I will one day for sure
Popular Post Conor
#11- THE ORDER 1886 (PS4) The Grail Enjoyment: 5/10 Difficulty: 2/10 Time Taken: 2 Days, 19 Hours, 46 Minutes Rarity: 6.3% Very Rare (PSN) / 36.54% Uncommon (PSNProfiles) Hardest Trophy: Inspector First Class (Gold)- Find all inspect items Bleh... Don't really want to say much about this one. Got it for free and heard it was easy so I went for it. The graphics are very impressive, even for a four year old game. Pity that seems to be where most of the budget went because I found the story and characters to be lacklustre and the gameplay very clichéd and tired, although the gunplay was fun for the first little while and some of the weapons were interesting. There was lots of potential here but it just turned out to be a very mediocre game. Worth a playthrough if you're going for an easy plat (use a guide for the collectibles) but quite forgettable.

Popular Post starcrunch061
PLAT #307: DYNASTY WARRIORS 8: EMPIRES Completionist Obtain all of the trophies in the game Right, so that happened. This game is a mess. It plays well enough, but the design is so flawed. I've bitched about the Ways of Life before, but let me say again: what were they thinking? It was particularly strange to be awarded the Virtuous Saint Way of Life when my current virtue was (literally) -9999. Tying the WoL to previously earned titles, and then tiering the system was bad enough. Tying fixed strategies to WoL was the feces icing on the shit cake. But even simple things were screwy here. I never got a handle on getting items within the game (other than as gifts for quests or just having them given to me). Having to create an item store in a certain town, raise it to a certain level (none of which was shown to you), to buy a certain item was incredibly confusing. Also, there was an item called Custom Saddle. Supposedly, this gave you access to a Custom Warhorse. For the entire game, that never happened. And where is the music?!? Was it really DLC? Give me a break, Koei. Oh well. This is the worst Dynasty Warriors game I've ever played (that includes DW6, but not DW9).
