Popular Post Starrk_01
Plat #140: Foul Play (PS4) Fun little beat 'em up game especially when you are playing cooperatively (My brother and I played on the same console.) The challenges and getting five stars are not too difficult as long as you use certain charms together for your advantage. Getting five stars isn't too bad either especially while going for the challenges for each level. If that doesn't work you can always just keep countering the enemies moves until you get the five stars (credits to the guide here for that bit), but once you get more experienced with the gameplay it isn't required. Besides these two parts the rest of the trophies are straightforward.

Popular Post Redgrave
#140: Full Cabinet - Shenmue Before playing this all I knew was Shenmue was kind of like the precursor to Yakuza and in a way it is but man the day/night cycle and time management stuff was way ahead of its time for a game made in 1999. Like pretty much everything in it is super impressive for the time. It's also pretty neat that they have it where you can upload your save from the first game into Shenmue II. Even the combat is pretty good although there's one part where you fight multiple enemies and I don't think it was really meant to be where you take on several enemies at once. Still, the game is just impressive and I'm surprised it took as long as it did to get a third game.

Popular Post D1RTIEST
#12 Deus Ex - Human Revolution. I've completed this about 7 times on PC between original and DC. Surprised I could remember where all the ebook locations were. Was fun but a lot harder getting Legend, Pacifist, Doctorate and Foxiest of the Hounds in a single playthrough using the controller.

Popular Post SirDave1988
# 94 Spyro The Dragon (PS4) Gnasty's Demise Collect all Spyro the Dragon Trophies Now this is how you do a remaster! Just like the Crash Bandicoot remasters that came before them, this is an incredibly faithful remaster to it's original PS1 game, brought up to a modern, polished PS4 graphical style. If someone said, "Redo the original Spyro exatly, but with modern graphics", this is EXACTLY what would come out of that idea. It was great to finally play through the original Spyro in full, as I only had the demo of it from the official UK Playstation magazine, way back 20 years ago. But even from the small amount I know, my god, the nostalgia haha. Even weirder, there were some secret (ish) areas that I still remembered how to get to 2 decades later, just awesome. The plat is not hard at all, very enjoyable, everyone should buy this trilogy, whether you're a fan or a first-timer. Now onto Spyro 2, which is the one I played to death back then, and where the true nostalgia lies for me. See you soon Moneybags! ?

Still it was nice to play as Alice in Wonderland. Also need to finish the DLC, but the controls are a bit odd, so i'm not really looking forward to it... Popular Post IntroPhenom
Platinum #38 SLYDE Hooah Rarity: 98.51% Personal Difficulty: 1/10 Time to plat: 21 seconds Get ready to smash that like button, buoys and gulls. My latest plat is SLYDE. For those who don't know, SLYDE is a 2D three-dimensional isometric action platform MMORPG horror game with visual novel elements cast in a metroidvania style. Some consider it the pioneer of the smorgasbord genre. The level up system is convoluted and demands a broad grasp of trigonometry, oology, and seismology. Despite necessitating several months of daily grind to be able to begin to comprehend the multi-tiered battle system with a backbone of polyglotism and random button mashing, the pay off of knowing you are mastering something few others ever will is reward enough to maintain your motivation. The trophy icon above is spot on, since a badge of honor this platinum is.

The trophy icon above is spot on, since a badge of honor this platinum is. It took longer for the trophies to pop than it did to finish the requirements. LOL. Anyway, for me, I have two plats over the long break: PLAT #308: DYNASTY WARRIORS 7: XTREME LEGENDS True Warrior of the Three Kingdoms Obtained all trophies A little light on content, but the Nightmare difficulty was probably the best difficulty they've had yet in a PS3/PS4 DW game that I've played. Still not on par with the difficulty of DW3:XL, but it was fun. A shame you have to do so much grinding for titles and the like at the end, since you can't really carry them over any where else. PLAT #309: PLANET OF THE EYES Eye of the Storm Collect all other trophies This was a fun diversion for the $3 or so that I paid for it. The puzzles were simple enough to solve, but complex enough to keep it interesting. Going back for missed trophies was a breeze thanks to the the strange replay system, and some good online guides. I would have been disappointed for $10, though.

Popular Post Deadly_Ha_Ha
#15 - Kingdom Hearts Dream Drop Distance So this one only took me 3 days and 22 hours. I no-lifed it really really hard over the break for Thanksgiving and I'm glad I did. I'm looking to have all 5 plats in the Kingdom Hearts series done before KH3 comes out and this was the fourth with just Kingdom Hearts to go. This was the second time I got the plat for this game so it was not new, and although I do not like what this game meant for the story of the series, as a game for its platinum in a vacuum it was not that bad. On to Kingdom Hearts!

Popular Post Conor
#12- DANTE'S INFERNO (PS3) Master of the Inferno Enjoyment: 7/10 Difficulty: 2/10 Time Taken: 2 weeks, 6 days, 3 hours, 53 minutes, 7 seconds Rarity: 3.7% Ultra Rare (PSN) / 20.95% Uncommon (PSNProfiles) Hardest Trophy: Gates of Hell (Gold)- Defeat all enemy waves in the Gates of Hell Arena In nomine patris... I'd actually beaten this God of War clone before on XBox 360 but since it was an easy platinum I decided to give it a go here too. The game is enjoyable if a bit easy and mundane towards the end, although it was interesting enough and it is a pity that it will probably never get a sequel. Not a whole lot to say about this one, really. It only took me so long because I stupidly missed a Vergil Commentary and had to start all over again and get literally to the end of the game once more, which was not a particularly enticing prospect so I played some other games in the meantime. The collectibles were a cinch and the Gates of Hell Arena was a monotonous gauntlet in the same environment killing enemies over and over again for a half-hour straight. It's a major bummer that the game is impossible to 100% now but I'll probably at least get around to the Dark Forest episode tomorrow just to boost the completion rating as much as I can. In all, it's a solid game but not an essential one by any means, just another break from Kingdom Hearts which is coming soon! Popular Post StiffTripple_X
Plat #32 Batman This was an easy plat that I’ve been holding off on for awhile since I wanted kingdom hearts re com to be my 30th plat. This game has an alright story that at times gets boring but that’s what happens when you already know about Batman already. Popular Post AJ_Radio
Platinum #174: The Testament of Sherlock Holmes (November 22nd, 2018) Difficulty: 2/10 Excitement Rating: 5/10 Estimated Time to Platinum: 4 - 6 Hours Hardest Trophy: The Brain (I never get your limits... there are unexplored possibilities about you.) Had to rent this game through Gamefly since the digital version is delisted from the store. For what it's worth it's a standard, solid Sherlock Holmes game bugged with terrible controls and awful input lag. Without giving away too much, unlike the later games Crimes and Punishments and The Devil's Daughter which both had a series of cases tied into one foregoing story, The Testament of Sherlock Holmes is one giant case with a rather interesting story twist. Sherlock Holmes investigates an artifact that is a necklace reportedly stolen. Upon returning it to the proper owner he later discovers that the necklace is a forgery. What follows is a series of investigations and strange clues that point to Sherlock Holmes being the criminal behind the whole act. The controls are sloppy and inexcusable for a point and click game. There is serious input lag when you are moving around with Sherlock or Watson. A bug seems to occur when either character gets stuck just prior to entering a doorway, and they simply freeze in place until the game decides to let you progress in the game. This was incredibly annoying and frustrating, and this bug occurred more often towards the end. Looking at Frogwares, they apparently aren't the best when it comes to proper coding and testing their games for bugs before they are shipped. Much of the game revolves around the story of Sherlock Holmes and thus I won't reveal spoilers. There are various puzzles to be solved and each one has to be solved on your own, else by skipping the puzzles locks you out of a trophy. Some of them may require a handy walkthrough guide because they are too archaic and sometimes abstract to be worked out in a given time. This game is otherwise pretty easy, with plenty of hints and help to determine what you need to be doing. Not too much more I can say about this other than wishing that another Sherlock Holmes game is in the works. I do not recommend The Testament of Sherlock Holmes because of it's issues with the controls, and compared to the later two games it is a very sloppy experience that will leave you irritated. Crimes and Punishments I felt had the best balance of crime solving, good voice acting, fairly decent controls and interesting set pieces to recreate late 1800s England. This game on the other hand is only for those who truly love Sherlock. Edited November 27, 2018 by Spaz

Popular Post GoodbyeBread
#75 - God of War: Ghost of Sparta So heres my story: I want to play this and Chain of olympus. I went to buy a 5 in one god of war saga, they were missing. I ended up downloading both of them seperately. Anyway, I was curious about these two games. Both were good, but I like Ghost of sparta more so here are my high points and low points. High points are Story, Combat and items. You would think that people would realize that pissing off Kratos would just end in chaos. WELP, choas ensued, and boy was it fun to see him execute his enemies in pure rage. Combat was nostalgic but the unique items really delivered. The horn and the item scourge of Erinys were my favorite. Low parts were Erinys boss battle and Temple of Zeus. Fighting Erinys felt broken on hard mode and blocking/parrying her attacks impossible. Temple of Zeus gave good content, but boy was it expensive. While there was an easy way to farm orbs, it was time consuming. Not sure how i would ranked these game so far. I only have two more god of war games to play: Ascension and God of War 4. I definately had fun with this game and if anyone wanted to play it, I would recommend it.
Popular Post X_Wizi_X
#99 Until Dawn Before starting the game I looked at some guides and it was practically impossible to avoid the spoilers, so I did what every guide says and I played through the game blindly the first time, but I used a secondary account because I did not know if I would have liked the game. (post-answer: yes XD). Here I had Spoiler Sam: Survived Mike: Killed by the explosion in the house Ashley: Same as Mike Emily: Same as Mike and Ashley Chris: Survived Jessica: Survived Josh: "Survived" Matt: Killed on a hook in the mines After that blind playthrough the storyline was pretty clear, so no spoilers, and I switched to main account and I used this guide https://psnprofiles.com/guide/3871-until-dawn-walkthrough-collectibles-guide, first to save everyone + collectables and then to kill everyone. The game is great. The Quick Time Events represent the only "hard" parts.
