Popular Post Nauticus87
#297, #299, and #300! (With a couple of Devious Dungeons at 298 and 301) I've never played Crash Bandicoot before, didn't realise it would be quite so difficult. I was waiting for it to go down in price, finally got it for the equivalent of £6 on the Hong Kong store. I liked the first one the most, thought it had the purest platforming of the three and was the most consistently challenging without being too unfair (okay maybe The High Road was a tiny bit harsh...) Liked the second the least, for some reason I found the positioning completely off and kept messing up landings. Eventually got used to it and powered through the relics. Warped was pretty damn easy by comparison to the first two, was doing most of the gold relics as I went along without the speed shoes. Squeezed into the top 50 fastest too, not bad out of 5,000+.
Popular Post DiegoMolinams
Adam's Venture: Origins Hero Of The Day I really enjoyed the puzzles of this game, some were easy and some were quite challenging but none of them felt unfair. The story of the game is quite ridiculous and the graphics are straight from a PS2-early PS3 game but I didn't mind since it was very cheap. About the voice acting...omg, it was so emotionless that I found it relaxing,? to the point that it gave me ASMR which was super weird. Anyways I had a lot of fun with the game, recommended. Super easy platinum also. ?

Popular Post ex10097
#90 Difficulty 4/10 Enjoyment 10/10 I really enjoyed this short game from start to finish. The narrator does an excellent job of storytelling as you progress through levels with pacing done just about right. Died a few times but never needed to restart the level and fell off so many times on my first playthrough lol. Starting Score Attack I actually managed to obtain first place in most Proving Grounds with only 1/2 upgrades! Thought I would have difficulty with the shield but only took three attempts. Messed up my timing for rolling, so final Scumbag knocked me off platform then jumped off before I finished respawning netting me first place with only 2 hits! All the Proving grounds are easy enough to get first place in with only the last one proving to be a real headcase. Getting the final upgrade means 1st place is a cakewalk but just completing it to obtain the final upgrade took some effort. My first real challenge in this game was the dream sequences with ten idols invoked. Attempting it at Level 5 was a mistake as those spinning Gasfellas cause way too much damage, but not that difficult once you have the right spirit setup and got used to their movement patterns. I actually found Zia's Dream to be much easier than Kid's Dream for some reason and Zulf's Dream wasn't too bad but Stranger's Dream? Uggh now that was a real pain. 30 waves with no recovery items is a bit too much. My first attempt I carelessly died in the middle. On 2nd I managed to get to final wave but with only 1,2 health potions and no special skills so got completely wrecked by that annoying melee/crossbow tag team. Third attempt my game just crashed in the middle lol. On 4th got to final wave again with 3 potions and 3 special skills left but still got destroyed. Went to eat dinner then tried again. This time I used the Squirt Lure Special Skill and managed to get to final wave without using up any potions/skills/continues! Guess my gaming skill improved. The Squirt easily kept the other two enemies occupied while I just spammed Mortar on the Ura Leader, then easily finished off the ranged Ura before playing Queen Anne to death. I chose to Spoiler Abandon Zulf the first time to experience the invincible Bull Rush against the Uras, then chose Restoration because it felt more appropriate to start a new playthrough on Score Attack on. Second time, I chose to save Zulf and went on a new journey with Stranger and Zia plus got a free cook by saving Zulf. Wonder if Kid and Zia will end up together? She did say that if she could relive any moment then it would be AFTER the Calamity happened. Would be nice if one of the ending pics showed them having a kid together like in Demon Gaze. Unless she happens to be an old man lover. Then again the Kid has white hair For Score Attack, there is no need to ever pay any attention to the score multiplier, as completing all dreams with 10 idols invoked is more than enough to get you a score of 1mil+. The trophy popped for me after completing the third dream, plus final dream can net you anywhere from 400k-600k.

This game is short, but a really cool little platformer that delivers! It's actually quite challenging at the beginning but once you know the patterns, it's actually not that bad. The 1 HP mode was a little bit frustrating to me, but managed to do it without too much retries! Recommended! :-)
Popular Post Lidiardo
#37 Fe Sustain Forest Love 8-10 hour platinum with lovely visduals and soothing soundtrack and worth playing. But i've never been so friustrated with a game before either! The flying mechanic was clumsy and the amount of times i would jump between trees in totally the wrong direction, or mistime a leap and fall of ledges and then have to spend ages working out how to get back to where i came from was so annoying! So i echo the thoughts of @Phoenix_argentea in that getting all the collectables felt more of a slog than neccessary. I was lucky enough to not have the glitched counter so was able to so clear out each area. Its a game worth playing but i felt it a shame that a lot of the charm was lost a little on me towards the end because of the above frustrations. Popular Post Nostalgy_Flow
#57: Bulletstorm: Full Clip Edition Probably one of the most particular and fun FPS I've ever tried. There are plenty of ways to kill the enemies, and that's where the game is based, because there's a point system (every kill has a certain value) and the goal is to score as many points as you can. The plat is quite simple, in essence you have to finish the game at Very Hard (which of "Very Hard" frankly I haven't seen anything), execute each of 131 skillshots and other things in Echo Mode. There's also an online co-op (it's basically a survival arena), where you need to have at least one friend to achieve a 40k score in a round (I don't think it's possible doing it alone) and complete 50 co-op challenges. There are other online trophies but you can do them without a partner. The difficulty lies more in being able to connect together lol, given that for some strange reason by invitation some people, including us, cannot join, but you can solve the problem by using the Party method. Thanks to capitanfabio and lionchief for the co-op stuff.
Popular Post Ala-Arska
Minecraft: Story Mode Season 2 Jesse Victorious Completed Minecraft Season 2 Black loading screen IN DA HOUSE!!! A very typical TellTale Games' game, only reskinned with Minecraft visuals. This was a title hard for me to take seriously. I couldn't quite catch what it was trying to be. A deadpan story with heavy issues? A light adventure with semi funny dialogue and upbeat characters? When everything looks butt ugly (sorry, Minecraft), blocky and non-eye pleasing, all that grimness is a tough pill to swallow. On the other hand, the comical reliefs weren't funny either (hello, Ivor!). Looked and sounded like a bad episode of South Park, now with more cringe And while I usually like Patton Oswalt, I just found his main man Jesse irritating and nasal ringing as f**k. He's as soft as a marshmallow. This is a series I could've lived without. All in all, it's a very average experience, leaving me feeling nothing afterwards. Okay, the llama was pretty cute At least we won't be seeing Season 3, thanks to the developers' bankruptcy, har har (what, too soon?)
Popular Post ResoluteRock
#5: Batman: Arkham Asylum What a fantastic game! The story was overall excellent, and I actually ended up enjoying the combat challenges as it forced me to really refine my combat skills. Once I did my second playthrough on hard, I found the combat to be much easier for me and I was able to make much better reads on the enemies (which is fortunate, as the counter symbol is gone on hard difficulty). I actually didn't enjoy the predator challenges too much, which I thought would be more enjoyable, but I got through them! I plan on playing through Arkham City and Arkham Knight in the future! If you haven't played (pretty sure I'm the only one who hadn't ) I highly recommend it!

Popular Post Bullstomp
Nefarious "Ultimate Villain" 5% Ultra Rare (3rd person on the site to achieve) Difficulty: 8/10 Fun Factor 9/10 First of all, this is a platforming game that has you play as the bad guy kidnapping princesses! How cool of a premise is that? I made some videos on the game, here is a video about the first level: Don't let the graphics fool you, this is a very challenging platinum, particularly getting S ranks on all the levels, Buster Run (No upgrades) and completing the Purple Pauper run (collect no more than 1000 Lucre and complete the game). However, the game is very fair. You just need to keep practicing. The story and writing are very well done. There were actually some parts that I genuinely laughed at. The main issue I had with the game is the health bottles. Sometimes they will tether to you and sometimes they will fly through you and off the screen. This is particularly frustrating on the Buster Run and Purple Pauper run when you only have three healths (pro tip: I did the Buster run and Purple Pauper run separately, you can save time going for each at the same time). I would highly recommend this game at it's normal ask price of $14.95. However this game is on sale this week for $6 in the NA store, making it a steal!

I wish I would've done these before Sony Rewards ditched the trophy passes, I may've gotten an extra $10 out of it. Anyways... all 3 had a decently good story, although I didn't like that choice you had to make at the end of that second Batman game. & The Wolf Among Us had a real glitchy feeling to it too, it took me 3 tries just to start the game (it kept freezing on me during the first load screen), it had a few FPS hang-ups too. Gameplay is what you'd expect from Telltale games, just point & clicks, with some QTEs thrown in. I didn't really care for the QTEs in The Wolf Among Us though, you have to be pretty quick with some of them (although I don't know if you can actually get a game-over or not if you mess up too many?), but while the two Batman games had a ton more, they were a lot easier to deal with. I got all 3 during flash sales for a pretty good price (I probably only spent around $10-$15 for everything), definitely worth it just for the stories on them. Oh, & I'll be skipping the screenshot section of my post, The Wolf Among Us was the PS3 version, so that's out. The Batman games just had a black screenshot & one telling you to buy the season pass (even though I already have it). ...in fact, nearly all the trophies I got in the Batman games were all on a solid black loading screen.

Popular Post Viper
#143 Minecraft: Story Mode - Season 2Jesse Victorious These were odd games to say the least. On one hand they had very kid friendly dialogue and it had that "be your best self" and "friendship is magic" kind of lesson to them...but on the other hand they had great music and pretty awesome action sequences you wouldn't expect when you see everything else. I think I enjoyed this season a little more than the first...it felt faster paced and the action was more plentiful, the stakes felt higher. I would have actually welcomed a Third season had Telltale not gone under. Edited December 13, 2018 by Viper
Popular Post Alegarz
Platinum #6 - Twisted Metal Enjoyment - 5/10 This game, in my opinion, is decent and has an alright storyline which is somewhat enjoyable. However, the online is an absolute nightmare as only the host can get the trophies, and that's taking into account the trophies not glitching on you, which luckily for me they didn't. Here's a tip for anyone grinding out the multiplayer for wins, and that is that wins by forfeit count, meaning you can start a game as host get one kill then have all enemies leave allowing you to win by forfeit which does count! Difficulty - 4/10 With ammo glitch & 10/10 Without ammo glitch. This game is very doable with the ammo glitch and in fact quite easy, much easier than I initially thought it would be. Although, without this glitch then this game is an absolute nightmare and is extremely difficult, but is still doable! 0.47% Ultra Rare
