Popular Post RedRodriguez87
#188: Rise of the Guardians Merry Christmas eve! Here is my Christmas Eve plat for the year! I I'll keep it short; its concept (4 player coop with the main Guardians), ideas (traveling to different locations and realms) and half it's execution (the environments and music are great, and core gameplay are alot of fun) goes beyond what's (becoming more and more unfairly) expected of a movie tie-in. However, it still lacks the polish and refinements (buggy enemies, loads of padding and repetitive filler to fill out an otherwise short game) to keep it in the public eye after the movie goes to home dvd. Speaking of which, I really should get around to actually watching it.......
Popular Post RedRodriguez87
And now, my Christmas Plats! First off, my surprise platinum that I had no intention of getting right now. #189: Gnasty's Demise Ever since I played the very PSX demo released, I always wanted to play through Spyro, but for one reason or another (money) I was never able to. So decades later, I finally got a chance play it, and I'm glad I did. Though, I wonder how much more I would've appreciated it HAD I actually played it back in the day. Great grpahics, charming characters, easy levels capped off with an annoyingly frustrating finale, and you got the makings of a classic PSX game. It may have been an obvious choice, but I am glad they want back to this design for Spyro, instead of sticking with that ugly-ass Skylanders one. I also probably would've gotten this platinum alot earlier, but I ended up putting on hold during a bad day I was having, and just wasn't in the mood, then the following month pretty much preoccupied me. So lo and behold, I finish it during my next attempt in one day. And now my INTENDED X-Mas platinum: #190: Platinum Trophy I actually liked this one. Like, really alot. It is of course a spoiler-free take on Ice Age 3, and going off of that, the devs managed to get quite alot of diversity packed in here. You have solid standard 3d platforming, more complex combat based platforming, 2d platforming, chase sequences ripped right out of games like Lion King or Mickey Mania SNES, on rails shooting levels, free roam shooting levels, plenty of collectibles to find, upgrades to buy, time-trial and point challenges, there is so much content here that you would've never expected, and it all plays good. It's not mind-blowing content, but it feels like the devs attempted to go beyond what was expected, and I commend them for that. Anyways, Merry X-Mas, y'all! Popular Post DamagingRob
#361- SkyScrappers Masterful Obtain all other trophies I don't know what to say about this one.. Really bizarre fighting game, where you not only can win by KO-ing your opponents, but by reaching the top of a building first. Not much to it, and wouldn't recommend spending any money on it. Only played it myself, because it was on PS Now. #362- Adam's Venture: Origins Hero of the day You've saved the world from a religious war. Wow.. This was like, bad. Lol. The stealth sections annoyed the crap out of me, and if you happen to fall to your death, have fun repeating an entire section... Don't think there are many other games I was happier when it was finally over. Another PS Now freebie. #363- Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 Bye Bye, Xenoverse Obtained all trophies! And the big one. Honestly, don't know if I would have bothered with the first two, if it wasn't to line this up for my 18,000th trophy quickly for Christmas. Really couldn't be arsed to do the mini playthroughs, so it has sat incomplete for awhile. Lol. But they weren't really that bad or time consuming, so don't know why I waited so long. All I can say about this game, is the fact that I thought it was an improvement over the original on every level, and I enjoyed the hell out of it. Popular Post Ala-Arska
Adventure Time: Pirates of the Enchiridion Pirates of the Enchiridion Collect all trophies Looks like Jake is gonna pull the plug outta his...ummm.... Having read @Elvick_'s review about this game last page, I gotta say "my thoughts exactly". But with less problems. Framerate drops and general stuttering during boat sailing is so not 2018 indeed, but my mind just went autopilot watching it Interrogation parts were totally pointless, I felt like playing a poor man's L.A.Noire during those. Just stick to the light RPG, fellas. Combat itself was basically okay and cool, but instead of hundreds of encounters you're gonna have only a few dozen of fights overall. This leads to battles dragging on, and enemies being (at first) a bit more too powerful than they should be. Still easy, but slightly annoying Being not able to cancel out from the menu with was highly illogical. I kept pressing it anyway, in hopes of something miraculous happening (spoiler alert: NOTHING EVER HAPPENED) Overall I wanted to like AT: PotE so much, but all these small hiccups kept reminding me how unpolished it actually was. It's still a good buy, though. With a decent price and for Adventure Time fans (gazillions of 'em!) this piratey Zelda clone offers solid swashbuckling

Popular Post TwilightSpira
PLATINUM 197 - SHADOW OF THE TOMB RAIDER Date of Achievement : December 23 , 2018 Enjoyment : 9,0 Difficult : 5,0Hardest Trophy : Deadly Obsession Even trough I liked Rise more, this one is such a great finale for Lara's origin story. This one also feels more of a Tomb Raider then all others from the reboot series, with more platforming segments, traps and tombs to explore. Hopefully this isn't the end for Tomb Raider, they definitely delivered with this trilogy.
Popular Post Asvinia
#38. Spyro 2: Ripto's Rage Gateway to Glimmer Loved it. Though again, I think when stuff has too much detail it loses personality and cuteness, why did they give the crabs mouths? Just give them googly eyes and a cute snip snip noise like the old ones. #39. Spyro 3: Year of the Dragon What better why to hide the loneliness of Christmas than by burying yourself in a children's game that you only thought was 'okay' when you were a child? My least favourite of the trilogy both then and now. Mostly because of the area doors, backtracking, and the other playable characters. I only ever liked Sheila in the original, now I don't like any of them. I'd be surprised if Sheila's new thiccness wasn't the result of the designer being a furry lol Edited December 25, 2018 by Asvinia
Popular Post Ghost
Platinum difficulty 3/10 Enjoyment 10/10 Platinum time 10:08 I'm glad this trilogy got remastered as I had a really fun time playing the 1st out of 3 games. I didn't play much of it when it came out originally in 1998 so it felt like a new game. The road to the platinum is fairly easy, however some of the flight levels took a few tries. I wish the game had subtitles and a photo mode. Now onto Ripto's Rage!
Popular Post GraniteSnake
My Christmas Day platinum! #96: Bayonetta Bayonetta has been sitting in my backlog for WAY too long. 3 years and 1 month later and I finally have this platinum. I've got to be honest, I found the game quite difficult and pretty frustrating on my original playthrough.. a lot of the fights took multiple attempts but I'm glad I stuck it through and completed the game. Farming Halo's and using the cheat codes to get all of the best weapons/accessories in the game made the subsequent playthroughs and the Alfheim portals an absolute breeze. My final play time was about 21 hours, with the last 2 playthrough's only taking a couple of hours each time. Really great game with a steep learning curve and a combat system that's difficult to master. Once you learn how to time your dodges the game becomes a lot easier. Lollipops really help as well. My 100th completed game ? Other platinum's I haven't posted in here yet.. #94: Tetra's Escape Short and relatively simple. Used a guide for the more advanced levels. Got it cheap on sale so wasn't a bad purchase. Good to play games that work the brain a bit, i guess. #95: Twin Robots Fun little puzzle game. Got a bit tired of the levels about halfway through so I just followed a video guide for the remainder of the levels. 7 trophies didn't pop until I closed the application and restarted it. Again another easy platinum and not a bad game at all. Edited December 31, 2018 by Uncharted_Baihh

Popular Post Vermilion_Joker
Platinum #34 — RESIDENT EVIL 6 (PS4) Time to Complete: 3 months, 3 weeks (8/12/2018 - 12/3/2018) Platinum Difficulty: 3/10 I seem to have a bad habit of starting games, getting two or three trophies and then just stop playing, only to return and finish it within the span of a week. The story is kind of there, but this is definitely an easy game to platinum if you're looking for something to do. It's definitely something to play with something in the background, because while it's alright the first time through, you will most likely grow bored when you're needing to farm SP for your skills. Think I spent more time farming SP than playing the actual game, so I'm not sure what that says about this game overall. Boring? Probably. I'm only playing this out of my desire to get the platinum for every Resident Evil game out there, and since I bought the PS3 and PS4 versions of this game, I'll probably be back with the PS3 version as well. I haven't 100%'d the game just yet, but that's just because multiplayer is where the true grinding is. I wish there was a cross-save feature for this to auto-pop trophies between versions, because the multiplayer is what will be what gets you 100% or not.

Popular Post FluffyAssassin64
#101 - Spyro the Dragon "Gnasty's Demise" Collect all Spyro the Dragon Trophies Not much to say about this one; it was good, simple, relaxing fun! I played some Spyro as a kid (not as much as Crash, Ratchet & Clank, etc.), and - as is standard for remasters - looks like I remember it... of course it has had a tremendous overhaul and looks much better now, but that's rose-tinted glasses I guess Nothing specific to talk about here. It was fun albeit straight forward, with decent controls / platforming (but with frustrations compared to other games in the genre), some light humour, colourful worlds, and some puzzles. Not a bad game by any stretch, but nothing particularly memorable either. I enjoyed my time with the 1st game in the Reignited Spyro trilogy and I'm sure I'll enjoy the rest... but think I'll need to play something else in between haha. This is a super easy plat too - one of the easiest in my recent memory - with about 7.5hrs in total playing at my own pace for the plat. Some of the flying sections can be a bit finicky trying to balance the awkward camera with the lack of precision, and one particular level had some platforming that required a bit more finesse than normal, but otherwise everything is super easy. Not a bad thing after some of my recent plats though... If you're looking for a change of pace in your gaming life, Spyro is worth a look (based purely on the 1st game in the trilogy). Sure, there might be better options out there, but the Nostalgia that comes with this is worth the price of admission in my book Game rating: 7.5/10 Plat difficulty: 2/10 Edited December 26, 2018 by FluffyAssassin64 Formatting

Popular Post Katt
Dark Rose Valkyrie All Complete! Obtained all trophies. 10000 kills good lord, who is responsible for this!? it takes less than 3000 kills to finish everything. Traitor mechanics, a lot of random stuff, even in the main story GOD, it was too late, I had to finish this thing. Good character design from the "Trails of" series legend: Kosuke Fujishima. The music was good. Huge maps, but nothing worth mentioning. I finished the game I was like: "w-where are the EX dungeons?" I did everything wrong, because the game explains nothing or explains a lot of things that shouldn't be explained (information saturation). What bothered me the most is: you can use DLC once per savefile. If you begin a New Game Plus it's common sense to use your DLC again but, surprise surprise! no DLC for you, all the PP is gone with just a fraction of the total used, you are back to Lv. 1. Interviews? with different outcomes? OH FFS! AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA. I did a mini-guide to farm kills which is in the game's forum. I need to rest.
Popular Post Kishnabe
Platinum #250: Persona 4 Golden (Vita) Was going for either Dangaronpa 3, Tokyo Xanadu or P4G 2nd Stack for my milestone. Since I was craving a Persona game, and my first P4G plat did not get a milestone. I went with this. Hoping, Atlus ports the SMT games to PS4 even as PS2 HD version for next time. I don't want to blister my hands trying to plat Ultimax Games....though I do hope to get to them one day since I finished the Multiplayer portion. Wanted to pop this during Christmas Day but just missed out.

For me both are amazing series and are fun to play.
Popular Post Dead Weight
Here comes a longer post. #200 Devil May Cry 4 Special Edition Aw yeah, I'm hella hyped for DMC5. So much so that I had to make DMC4 my 200th plat. Lady, Vergil, and to a lesser extent, and Trish are all really fun to play with. DMC4 has always been a great game, even with the original being rushed out and having copy/paste content in the story, and Special Edition makes it better. Platinum is not overly difficult but you will need to remember red orb locations for every mission to get S ranks as well as the fastest and most efficient ways to kill enemies and bosses with each character . ( Especially for Dante Must Die and Bloody Palace), DID I MENTION I'M HYPED FOR DMC5 #201 Persona 4: Dancing All Night #202 Persona 3: Dancing In Moonlight #203 Persona 5: Dancing in Starlight Just realized that the plat images for P3 and P5 use the japanese "engrish" title lol. I really like the soundtracks for P3,P4, and P5. The remixes that they have in the dancing games are really good too ( though there are some questionably bad ones in the mix). P4 is a stack, pretty much the same as the vita version but now on the big screen. It's lame that the vita dlc is not cross-buy with the PS4 version. Even lamer that P4 is only available from the triple pack. There is just too much DLC for all 3 games really. I knew that they couldn't make a proper story mode for P3 and P5, especially with how P3 is, but I enjoyed the social events in the game. It gave more character depth for the P3 characters and more interactions and shenanigans for the P5 characters. BUT WHO CARES! JOKER IS IN SMASH PEOPLE! Popular Post DamagingRob
#364- Adventure Time: Pirates of the Enchiridion Pirates of the Enchiridion Collect all trophies What time is it!? Time for me to post my thoughts on this game. Had fun with it, even though it tends to lag and freeze a lot. If you've played a Telltale game, it's something like how one of their games would run. But as far as licensed games go, Adventure Time's always seem to be decent. Might help that I like the cartoon, and never get tired of hearing Bender's voice come out of that dog. This one is an RPG, and you'll fight a number of turn-based fights, while sailing around a fairly large open world, with places you can land at and explore. The combat will require you to heal a lot, so you'll want to stay stocked up on health items. There are no inns to sleep at, and enemies never stop hitting hard. So yeah... a lot of healing. :/ Interestingly enough, though, the game lets you use an item, and not end your turn. So you can heal, and then attack enemies all in the same turn. The level cap is really low, at 10. But you can spend money you've acquired from fights and chests, to increase your stats and special attacks' power. Like, leveling within leveling. Lol. Nothing else to really say, other than I enjoyed playing it. Spoiler
