Popular Post Fire
#198 - Muv-Luv Muv-Luv Aquire all trophies. This VN is divided into two parts. First part EXTRA features main character Takeru who wakes up one morning to find a girl sleeping in his bed just in time as his neighbor Sumika comes to wake him up. So as the story progresses both girls compete for Takeru's affection and he has to chose one of the girls. So cliché Second part, UNLIMITED explains that BETA (aliens) invaded Earth and mankind fights back against them with mecha called Tactical Surface Fighters. There's not much similarities between two parts except some characters, so it doesn't matter much which one u start first. All in all, really chill and relaxing VN with interesting characters, dialogues, visuals and music. Enjoyment 7/10 - Difficulty -/10
Popular Post Juzota
#108 - Guacamelee! Super Turbo Championship Edition Guacamelee! Platinum trophy Luchador #1! This game was so much fun. I originally played this in 2015 but for some reason did not go for the Platinum. Now that Guacamelee 2 was released I thought it would be nice thing to play this again and I'm glad I did it. Hard mode did punish me occasionally but it wasn't anything too brutal. Infierno-challenges were probably the most difficult thing to do for Plat, but even those were little bit easier than I remember. I would definitely recommend this to any metroidvania-fans. I already bought Guacamelee 2, but I think I finish the Spider-man DLC's and Full Throttle before diving into that. Popular Post Phoenix_argentea
Finally I update my last platinum trophy (after 10 days ?). No. 98 Lost Sphear Tale of memories and the Moon This is a a very good RPG, the characters are brilliant (I mean, I liked all of them, especially Van and Locke). The combat system is simple but it’s fun, since it’s similar to the one in FF XIII with the ATB system: you can move around in the battle field waiting for the ATB charge, and there is a second bar for the Momentum which can be used for an extra attack. And the special attacks can be improved with the sublimation, which can add buff and debuff effects (usually I used poison, ATB charge, raise you defense or recover the HP). I always used the shooter characters (Van and Sherra, who is a very good white mage), but when you unlock (again) Locke (?) you have a really powerful character who shots everything with Snipe, Break Shot and the Spray Shot (and he’s also a cool character due to to his tragic story. Poor Locke! ?). The story is simple but I liked it a lot: the memories, the fading world and its restoration with the powers of the Moon. There are very few sidequests related to the background of the characters, and some of them are really fun, like the Van’s sidequest and his fiancee. As soon as I saw her my reaction was this one: WHAT?! How can Van have a fiancee? He has a bad temper. By the way, I’m still thinking he’s a disguised Riku from Kingdom Hearts, since he's unemployed until KH III comes out. There are also the Vulcosuit, but I rarely used them since I didn’t like them: they are strange and I don’t think they suit very well in the plot. Ok, they are really powerful, but they drain a lot of Vulcosuit points, and after a couple of special attacks they are useless and you have to remove them. There is no grinding, which is really fine for a RPG: 40 minutes for the one million money (with the Vulcosuit and the Scan function you can touch the enemies and kill them instantly if they have a level which is lower than yours) and all the Vulcosuit paradigms. And you discover that one of them is a tri-slash with the three swords (the emblem of the Tokyo RPG Studio). Brilliant! And now the disappointing issues (just a couple): first if all the lacking of the savepoints before a boss battle. And this is annoying: you clean up a dungeon, make a turn and suddenly you find a boss (who usually wiped the floor with me, since I didn’t recover the HP and the MP before this battle), so you have to clear the dungeon again and use the quicksave (which has the same function of the savepoint) just before the boss battle. ? Please, Tokyo RPG Studio, put more savepoints in the next game, and tell me when a boss is coming, ok? ? And the second one is due to the texts: a lot of reading texts. I’m a reader and it’s fine reading in English, but you fall asleep when you play this game at night and you have to read for 15 minutes … ? I hope the Tokyo RPS Studio creates other RPGs like this one. I know they made I am Setsuna, but it should be available only on the PS store (and the cover of the Japan retail is really beautiful). No retail version in Europe, as usual... ? Oh, and here I put the screenshot of the Platinum. I made it in the the Fade Lake with the night sky reflected by the water. Maybe it’s too crowded, but I think it isn’t too bad for a Platinum screenshot. ? Edited December 28, 2018 by Phoenix_argentea
Popular Post StiffTripple_X
Plat # 38 I bought this when it first came on ps4 long ago and finished the game within days of buying it. A few days ago I decided to clean up the trophies I had left and ended up platting it today. This game is an extremely good game that I wished they would make a second one of because it deserves a sequel big time. The trophy list isn’t very challenging for this except the one that you need to get the high score on all the arcade games. Other than that the trophies are very grindy and involve a lot of distance trophies such as 100 kilometers on foot and bike and 50 kilometers on skateboard which these will take awhile. The other most grindy trophy is accumulating 160000 trouble points which will most likely be your last trophy. Enjoyment 9/10 Plat difficulty 4/10 The arcade trophy will be your deciding trophy on if you plat this or not.

Popular Post Sergen
Star Wars Battlefront II: Platinum #129 Difficulty: 3/10 Time Taken: 80+ hours Special thanks to @Potent_Delusions who endured the whole grind with me on this ! Now that's it for the duo of Battlefront platinums. I started this game because there was an XP event that awarded 1.5x more XP than normal, this event lasted from December 17th to December 27th and I managed to finish the rank 50 grind entirely during that event. I was aware of the XP glitch that people discovered early in this month which allowed people to get 200,000+ XP in a match, I didn't want to risk being banned by EA for using that glitch, so I held off until the December 17th event. I don't regret doing it during the event, as it was better safe than sorry, the last thing I'd want is to be banned from EA's network of games because I took advantage of a glitch, based on how they have been with a lot of their games I wouldn't put it past them to ban people for using the glitch. The only somewhat challenging trophies for this game are the online trophies and luckily the single player is incredibly simple and only requires you to complete every chapter and get some misc trophies that are doable within minutes. The other non-online aspect is Arcade Mode, which puts you into matches against AI where you have to win with heroes and villains, the mode is incredibly simple because you only need to play on the 1 star difficulty, I'm glad there wasn't a 3 star requirement since it was a bit annoying to do Master difficulty on the first game and I'd hate to have that here. I doubt anyone is a stranger to EA's antics at the release of this game, but luckily now it's not full of microtransactions, instead of pay to win, it becomes grind to win because the star card system favours people who have spent more time playing as that class than you, this can be annoying because at this point many people have played the game for 1000+ hours and have likely levelled up every class to the max level which gives them the advantage against a new player. Rank 50 on this game is around 2x longer than rank 100 was from the first game and 10x more boring, I won't go into details about it but you can see from the many forum posts about how long people spend on rank 50... I'll say I'm glad it's over and here's to waiting 1 year after the release of Battlefront 3 to then do that one, a game like this definitely doesn't appeal to me on release date. Popular Post Elvick_
Platinum #157 Saints Row: The Third Kingpin Unlock all Trophies in Saints Row: The Third. Overall that was fun, but man there were too many stupid challenges. It's been awhile since I played IV and Gat [the PS4 versions were my entry point - played 2 before this, so didn't quite work my way backwards... I digress]. I don't remember them being this annoying, I mean Gat had it's share of tedious trophies. But I don't remember IV having them, and Gat and IV are just overall more fun. The Clone DLC actually really made me miss IV. Why they didn't let you keep the powers to use in the main game from that DLC, is beyond me. It was super fun to run around, and it would have made farming the shitty survivals easier. They appear randomly and only when walking around with nothing going on. So you have to have no notoriety. And any time you want them, they don't show up. Anytime you don't want them, they show up. It feels like the game can read your mind, so you have to actually set your mind to something else entirely before they show up. If in your head you have "I'll run around until I find one" they won't give it to you. I set my sights on a building in the distance to get to and completely divorced myself from the survivals and got the last two way faster than I've ever gotten them. :/ Game is a witch. Trail Blazing was a nightmare, why the time additions don't add right away is beyond me. I know there are old school racing games that function that way but the 4-wheeler you drive on controls like crap, and it's so easy to miss people and the cars exploding as you ram into them obscure your vision like crazy. Doing one of those on hard was a nightmare for me. Luckily I got the tron-ish ones first try even though I turned around due to the slope. Why that stupid vehicle can ram through cars, but a telephone pole stops it dead is beyond me. Why the telephone poles are unbreakable at all I never really understand in the game. You'd get stuck a lot in that yarn minigame from the Genki DLC as well. Or just stuck on the wall. The AI allies are trash, they can't land any of the flying vehicles so that awesome feature to have stuff delivered is gimped. And even with cars they bash into things, I had one spawn in stuck to the ground and slowly being destroyed. And the thing is on a cooldown [which there's no indications of how long it is or how long you have left - which is more a problem for the notoriety wipe calls than this] This is the only Saints Row, so far, that I got the plat without the last trophy being standing around [playtime]. Granted I did the three DLCs before even getting both story endings, and I was only a few hours over I think [too many breaks to break up the challenge tedium]. Story was fun, though it annoys me they show a butt in the story. Uncensored and your character can't run around with a bare butt. What's the difference? It makes no sense. And I noticed that from The Third going into IV they nerfed the bulge size which makes me retroactively sad. But whatever, I can still bash people with a purple dildo bat so it's fine. The game is really glitchy at times, you explode so easily sometimes. When you need cars around it's a wasteland, when you've got other shit to do there's no end to them. And the drivers sometimes panic drive for no apparent reason, you'll be driving along and see a car turn away quick and dash away and then immediately burst into flames for no reason. It's strange, and annoying when on foot [waiting for those survivals...] and they run you over from off screen. Or when you just want to car surf for another obnoxious challenge. I'm happy the challenge grind is over, they made the game overall less fun. Kind of want to plat the PS3 versions of IV and Gat now, but I'm sure if I started I'd regret it at some point. We'll see if they're ever cheap enough to justify it. edit; oh yeah, forgot the game reset some of my upgrades at one point. And the AI trying to escort them to safety was annoying. Just get in the damn car. Geez. D:< Edited December 28, 2018 by Elvick_

Popular Post Squirlruler
#56 Borderland Defender Round Two -- Borderlands 2 Yet another great Borderlands game. I was surprised to see how active people are with this game still. When I was doing all the normal raids, I constantly had people joining. It was a nice surprise and def helped out with the harder raids/quests. I don't think I can recommend playing TPS before this one. I really missed double jump and the ground slam from TPS. :[ Spoiler Plus, now that I know it was the vault hunters that fucked Jack over to make him go more crazy, I sympathized with him so much. I kept wanting to be like "Jack! Stop this! I'm on your side now!" lol. The game play was fun, as it always is. There were a few rng trophies that were annoying, but overall it wasn't that hard. Popular Post Lava_Yuki
Ephemeral Fantasy on Dark A super easy platinum, 1/10 difficulty. The game was super short but it was originally a mobile game, and pretty much just 3 endings per character so there was no need to use a walkthrough. The characters were interesting and the story focused solely on the romance and relationship without an additional plot like games such as code realize or collar x malice. But the main character was a really dumb and ditzy girl which was a bit annoying at times, especially when things were common sense or blatantly obvious. It is a good game for someone who is new to the otome genre as it's easy, only one bad end per character and pretty much short, simple and "pain free". No annoying mini games either.
Popular Post Stormverse
This game has a very interesting way of telling the story, its like a VN/RPG hybrid with some great music. The only downsides are the length (it's very short) and the price (though it's on sale right now, it's still expensive for what it is). Popular Post Dauersack
: King of Liberty City. To be finally done with this atrocity of a game, this new #1 on my worst game I have ever played list, gives me the strongest feeling of relief imaginable. No other game made me rage and question why I even torture myself going for trophies like this one. And torture it was, for this game is so bad in every sense and barely functional that it can be hazardous to ones health. Not kidding, I felt physically ill many times playing it, I felt like losing my mind during some of the absurd displays, something I have never experienced before and only ever heard of from people who played games like Super Man 64 for extended periods of time. I would rather play a game like Ride To Hell for 20 hours and rip off one of my nails for every hour than to touch GTA 3 ever again. I have no idea how anyone with taste and common sense can see this game in a positive light, nostalgia can't be that strong because even at release ten year old me would have thrown that thing in the next Gamestop employees face back in the day. With this thing out of the way, I feel so damaged and disgusted by it that I will have to take a break from playing playstation alltogether for a few weeks at least. I will have to think about my approach to games, If i even want to keep going for completion or even trophies anymore. If I decide to keep going I will play a nice game to wash this experience off of me, because I really need a fun experience at this point. I got Nioh and Monster Hunter World for christmas, I am certain that both will be great games but I really don't feel like playing anything right now. Stay away from GTA 3 guys, learn from my mistake. Edited December 30, 2018 by Nighcisama

Popular Post Z-Yux
Platinum #57: Wolfenstein: The Old Blood While a short game, this entry in the Wolfenstein series was pretty good in my opinion. The gun combat felt very fluid and the chapter/level design was really well done I think. As for the platinum, it is a little more on the difficult side in my opinion primarily due to the Gold Medal challenges. While those can get frustrating at times, the rest of the game's trophies aren't really that difficult.
