Popular Post Elvick_
Platinum #161 Mini Ninjas Platinum Congratulations, you have unlocked all trophies Inventive platinum title. This has to be my longest platinum just looking at it. 9 years, 3 months. I have such vague memories of some of the trophies, like killing someone as a snowball and flawless river rafting. I remember having to retry a few times but beyond that... it's gone into the memory hole. I love things game. Rented way back when (place has long since gone out of business; rip), and took me forever to find a copy that wasn't ridiculously overpriced in 2016. Which is when I last tried to get the platinum. But after getting all the statues in every level, I got to the final level and went through multiple times, but could not for the life of me find the last one. Even following along with a guide. I don't know if it glitched or if I'm just really dumb, but I redownloaded my save from the cloud [after backing up the 99% one on a usb just in case]. And at that point I just lost interest from the frustration. I also had tried to get the Futo trophy with chapter select and it didn't work so that annoyed me since he sucks to play as. And I got all the animals, and following two guides for that + the statues was just so annoying. So after wrapping up Disney Universe, figured I'd give this a whirl again. Since I actually felt like playing it again. And I still love it. It's a fun game, some of the platforming can be a bit wonky and the final level with the screen shaking is so annoying at the start. But I got the hard, missed one level with Futo but had two ideas of what it was. And got it no problem. Ah finally. If only there was a sequel. The ending even mentions other stories for another time. Come on! I know there was some lame mobile game for it sometime ago, but meh. I really like the bow ninja, getting a snipe off from a large distance that instakills something is hilarious. I didn't even rush through on hard, I just had fun. Only thing I don't like really is the final boss. He can nearly instakill you if you don't have full health. And I really don't see how you can outrun him consistently without spamming items. :/ And the swimming is painfully slow for some reason.
Popular Post Rick_Sanchez
Platinum #230 Fun: 8/10 Difficulty: 2/10 Hellblade Senua's Sacrifice delves into what it's like to suffer from psychosis, a mental disorder that leads to sufferers to become disconnected from reality. The game does a number of mind screws that messes with how the world looks around you. It could show no path looking at it at first, but walk through a few trees that has a skull hanging from between them and suddenly the blocked path is not blocked. You also have to puzzle solve often to reveal symbols throughout the area to progress. At almost every moment of the game Senua will hear voices in her head whispering and telling her a number of things, mostly negative, rarely positive, and a few times hints. The combat is simple, just time your blocks, dodge, and follow up with attacks. Sometimes you have to activate focus mode to become stronger to handle stronger enemies and smoke enemies. I do recommend going for completion of this game, almost all trophies are story related and there is 44 collectibles which is easy to find with a video guide.
Popular Post madbuk
#295 - Astro Bot Rescue Mission This game was a lot of fun. I don't think it's quite as revolutionary as it was hyped up to be - it's certainly no Mario 64 in terms of moving the industry forwards so heavily, but it's a great game that I would recommend nonetheless. There's nothing hard, but the platforming is fun and the time trial platforming challenges are lots of fun too. The bosses were unique and interesting, all very fair and some were actually a little challenging to beat without getting hit for the challenges. The hidden robots were creative, peering around corners or looking behind you at the start or moving your head so you get a good angle down a dark corridor. You really have to keep an eye out for them and it's something that wouldn't really work as well without VR, which goes to show that third person VR games really are able to make use of the system. Light Tracer proved this to me ages ago, but this is much more mainstream and should confirm it for a lot of other people. I hope we see a sequel at some point, hopefully one that'll be a bit longer because this was incredibly short. I'd say this is the best VR game I've played so far, but admittedly I haven't played many yet.
Popular Post SirDave1988
# 98 + # 10,000 LEGO The Hobbit (PS4) The Road Goes Ever On Collect every trophy Milestone reached! Hard to believe I've reached 5 digits in overall digital treasures, and it took pretty much EXACTLY 10 years to get there. So, to get to 6 digits, it would take until the year 2109 at this current pace. So, yeah, this is likely the last big milestone I will probably reach haha . For this milestone, I chose a Platinum with a name absolutely befitting of the journey I've been on and will continue to go on. Onto LEGO The Hobbit, it was another enjoyable LEGO experience. The aspect of the game that makes this one different is the crafting and looting system, which fits in well with the many Dwarf characters in the game. Sadly, I didn't connect with this game much as compared to the Lord Of The Rings LEGO game for one very simple reason. I haven't seen any of the Hobbit films, which this game is based on the first 2 movies. The 3rd movie was meant to be DLC that never saw the light of day sadly. Also, it was odd that this game made the news as I was doing my platinum run when it was taken off the PS Store at the turn of the new year. Complete coincidence. Popular Post Omar
#139 - Jak II Done Done Done - For excellent and dedicated field work in the field of battle for completion (lol) Achieved: January 8th, 2019 PSNP's RS: Common Difficulty: 3 Enjoyment: 8 I love these games and I have finished them multiple times so the challenge is not that bad at this point. It will always be weird to me that the version they chose to take the trilogy to PS4 was the base PS2 games instead of the PS3 HD Collection, but the fun is there regardless. Checkpoints in this series are famous for their scarcity and in a couple of instances the game almost took me back to Jak 1 but other than that I didn't die much so I was alright! I will save Jak 3 for a later date, possibly this year but I got A LOT of gaming goodness during the holidays and I think I should give those some love first
Popular Post Z-Yux
Platinum #58: Marvel's Spider-Man I'm normally not a huge fan of the Superhero stuff, but I've heard nothing but great things about this game so I decided to give it a go. Needless to say, I can definitely see where people were coming from in terms of praise. It was great to simply swing across buildings in Manhattan and check out the sights. Popular Post Fire
#199 - Code: Realize - Guardian of Rebirth C: R Master Obtain all trophies Got this game from PS+ awhile ago but didn't bother playing it since i'm not the biggest otome game fan. But it turn out to be a decent game, even tho i got to admit, i skipped... some... most of the text And that's because the routes tend to drag a bit towards the end and i usually found myself skipping dialogues just to get over with asap. Enjoyment 6/10 - Difficulty 1/10 #200 - Sword Art Online: Lost Song ALO's Strongest Player "You are an excellent fighter. The best I have ever seen." It took me awhile to get to this milestone but finally i got my 200th platinum. I didn't really know what game to pick for it, but since i'm a big SAO fan, this was a kinda obvious. Anyway, Lost Song is a sequel to Hollow Fragment and it takes place in Svart Alfheim, a set of floating continents in Alfheim Online. It's a very fun game to play, lot's of characters to select, having so many skills and weapon choices. The flying segment was a bit odd for me at the very beginning, but i got used to it eventually. So the main story and everything attached to it was great, but post game grind was a bit boring. 100 side quest, 100 extra quests, raise a sword skill to lvl 500, raise magic skill to lvl 500, unlock all skills for a sing character... Luckily, skill trophies could also be unlocked when an AI reached the requirements. All in all, great game with a bit of post game grind. Platinum time should take somewhere between 35-45 hrs. Popular Post Deluziion90
Milestone #175 - Assassin's Creed IV Black Flag Prizes, Plunder, and Adventure! Win every trophy. All 61 Trophies 9th January 2019 • Completed in 4 days, 19 hours Fastest Achiever #5 Fun 7.5/10 Difficulty 3/10 There we go my last PS4 Assassin's Creed which marks 10 completed and what a fun game. I've been staying away from this game for ages because of the multiplayer. Luckily it wasn't all too bad ^^ Overall game is much easier then previous AC games. - No crazy collectables(getting your ship max though) - Optional objectives are saved so if you fail one you can always go back and do the other. DLC Assassin's Creed® IV Black Flag: Freedom Cry6 of 6 Trophies Very easy 100%. Also rushed this one as I already completed the seperate game.

Popular Post madbuk
#296 - Assassin's Creed Odyssey I am genuinely baffled by this game. I hated Assassin's Creed Origins. It was bland, it was grindy, the character moved at a snails pace, the mounts controlled horribly, climbing was dumbed down far too much, the story was completely forgettable and Bayek is perhaps the blandest protagonist in the franchise, yes, even moreso than Connor, the tombs were just empty corridors with a block pushing puzzle instead of the fun platforming gauntlets from games before it, the modern day plot was pointless and went nowhere, assassinations didn't always actually kill the target... god I just couldn't find anything to enjoy with that game. This game? At first glance it just looked like Origins with a much more interesting setting and butchered lore. Choices in an Assassin's Creed game, where you're supposed to be reliving genetic memories as they truly happened? And they brought back the ship which I really don't like in 3/4/Rogue, nor did I like its brief appearance in Origins. I went into this game with colossally low expectations. AC was my favourite franchise before Origins came along and I wasn't about to let Origins put me off the whole franchise, so I figured I owed it to myself to at least try this. And I'm glad I did. Despite being comparable to Origins, the lowest point of the franchise for me, I genuinely cannot think of anything in this game that I outright hated. It has the awful climbing from Origins, and the choice based dialogue goes against the lore and is never explained, nor is the fact that Kassandra (or Alexios, which is also a problem - why does the Animus let you choose this? They did not live the exact same lives. If you're going to include multiple characters in an AC game at least give them unique stories like Jacob/Evie) is able to see from the eyes of her eagle, something I can't even really begin to comprehend. But fuck it. At this point I'm used to the butchered climbing. Do I wish it would go back to the original style? Yes, definitely, but given how (unnecessarily) massive this game is I suppose it wouldn't always be possible to give you realistic climbing ways up cliffs everywhere. In the smaller city-based games it was easier because you could use windows or doors etc. to climb. The story of this still wasn't anything too amazing, but it was leaps and bounds ahead of the unorganized mess that Origins was. I actually cared about the characters here, so much so that I became very tempted to look up a choice guide so I didn't ruin my ending. I resisted the urge and still got the ending I wanted, but the thought was there. I wouldn't have even cared if all the characters in Origins had gotten killed off due to my choices. Kassandra is much more charismatic than Bayek and her voice actress was great. I can't speak much for Alexios because I didn't play as him. The ship was perhaps my biggest concern of this game, maybe outside the extreme level gating that reviews threatened and Origins designed. And it made me very pleased to see that the ship was barely used at all. I got all the resources for upgrading that I needed from land-based sources, like breaking down weapons or looting supplies, and the ship wasn't really used in the main quest at all. Other than for travelling between areas (which, late game, is pointless because of fast travel) and underwater locations, I never used my ship at all when not necessary. In 4/Rogue, you didn't have many sources for grinding upgrade materials outside of looting ships, and I was worried it would be similar here. Stealth here was also much improved. You can unlock an ability, fairly early into the game, which lets you 'critical assassinate' targets, which is basically a 1 hit kill for just about anyone outside bosses. It lets you avoid situations like the ones in Origins where you'd stealth attack a target just for them to survive and alert the entire compound. Stealth was not a viable option in Origins, but it is here. Also Kassandra seems to move a little faster than Bayek which means hiding when a guard is approaching you isn't as risky (and in general it's just really nice to not have to take years to reach your objective without using poorly controlled mounts - which also felt a little better to use in Odyssey than they did in Origins.) As far as level gating goes, I'm happy to see that it was non-existent. I became overleveled pretty early on and steamrolled the rest of the game. I was level 61 before the story ended, and level 50 was the cap before a patch. The game just throws XP at you, whereas in Origins it felt like I was grinding between every main quest just to continue. This game introduces a new quest type called 'contracts' which award a massive amount of XP and are passively worked on just by doing other stuff. Like killing x amount of archers or spartans etc. These should really be enough to carry you as long as you remember to keep accepting them as they appear. It also helps that the side quests, the other main source of XP, are far better written and far more interesting than the tripe that Origins had. I cared so little in Origins that I even began skipping side-quest cutscenes late game, something I almost never do. This game was a pleasent surprise and has rekindled my faith in this franchise. I miss the old formula, and I wish that this had stuck to canon a little more closely or at least explained the changes, but if we keep getting games like this one instead of the mess Origins was, I could live with it.

Popular Post iFraaN97
# 227 -Persona 4 Arena Ultimax Enjoyment : 8.5 / 10Difficulty: 7.5 / 10 Pretty solid fighting game and very enjoyable overall, even if you're not necessarily a Persona fan. In my opinion the only trophy that decides whether you can plat it or not is the "Don't think, Feel" one for completing all of one character's combos, that definitely takes some skill, but it's perfectly doable. I ended up maining Mitsuru, it took me a while to get used to her charged moves but she's definitely a top tier and very satisfying to play, did the entire Golden Arena with her without any trouble. Too bad the online is completely dead at this point, I would've definitely spent some time there just playing for fun :/ Shout out to @DamagingRob for helping me with the online trophies, you should get those challenges done man!
