Popular Post X_Wizi_X
#102 Alien Breed: Impact I guess it's time to clean some old (and started long time ago) stuff. Alien Breed: Impact is a straightforward , sci-fi, old school, top-down shooter game . Even though the gameplay mechanics are "go to point A, then B, then back to A, repeat" through all 5 chapters, actually I found it pretty fun. Sure, nothing exceptional, but enough enjoyable to play. The Elite mode is not a walk in the park while you're eating an ice cream. Enjoyment: 7/10 Difficulty: 5/10
Popular Post Phlegeth
#27 It's all Relative Collected every trophy. Congratulations! Turns out past me was just bad at videogames. The challenge missions weren't any easier or harder in the first game. Except maybe the Sliding Race, because the controls are a little wonky. But it's very forgiving. I was also very close to the 40k Gem Trophy. I was like 500 away. It caught me by surprise when it popped so suddenly. The last trophy was the couple. I found the guy five times and the girl once. That couple with the fact that it's been three years and told out of order made it even more confusing.

Popular Post Kristycism
#82 - Kingdom Hearts Dream Drop Distance (and also trophy #3,500 because I like planning Milestones) Dream Drop Distance Master Wanted to clean up the last KH plat before KH3 releases in just over two weeks. And I've been making all the KH plats into trophy milestones, so figured I'd continue with that trend because why not! I played this game back on the 3DS and loved it back then, but I don't think it translates well into a console game, it's much better on the 3DS. The flowmotion was fun at first, but quickly gets old, and the Spirits system is cute at first but ends up an inconvenience when your'e trying to get all your abilities and commands done. In general I did actually really enjoy the game on 3DS but I feel it's the weakest remake to come onto the PS4. Or maybe I'm just older and my tastes have changed... The story of KH games also gets more and more bizarre as the series goes on, but whatever, it's still my favourite series by a long shot and I'll be buying KH3 on release day regardless because I've been waiting over a decade for this game!

Popular Post Zach
#117 Just Cause 4 Enjoyment: 9/10 Difficulty: 3/10 Time: 40hrs Just Cause 4 is a much different game than 2 and 3.... but in a great way! This entry to the series is much more story driven, and less mindless base destroying. In fact... base destroying isn't really a thing in this title! At first, I was really worried about this. However, once I got further into the game, I barely missed it. You will be facing the weather in this game. Sounds dumb but it's really fun. This game also has a bunch of fun side activities. The side activities made this game feel like a mixture of Just Cause, Need for Speed, and Tomb Raider. The platinum is actually much quicker than the previous games as well. I'd give this game a try when it goes on sale. Off to try the Resident Evil 2 Demo!
Popular Post madbuk
#297 - Pic-a-Pix Color Picross isn't the most complex puzzle type in the world, but it's still pretty fun. I've spent many hours playing it on mobile, and I figured I'd get this on sale since it's actually pretty different to the picross games I'm used to. The introduction of colours changes how you tackle the puzzles a little. Often, you start a puzzle and you can immediately mark some spaces just based on the placements of the colours. At other times, though, it can make the puzzle slightly more challenging. On a black and white picross board, you could easily mark certain spots, but here you dont necessarily know what colour the block will be. I think this was worth the money I spent on it, despite the fact that there are so many mobile picross games out there for free. It was very polished and the unique spin was interesting (upon further research, it seems there are many colour variations online, but I never came across any on my mobile searches.) It's a shame that there are so many people out there who buy a game like this and then immediately look up the answers - they're missing out.

Popular Post linkdevivo
Platinum # 149 The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt Enjoyment: 8/10 Difficulty: 5/10 So i've been looking around for a game to platinum before making Kingdom Hearts III my 150th platinum trophy. Pretty special milestone for a pretty special game (we hope). In doing so I had almost a month to get platinum in a game and i stumbled on the witcher 3 on sale on ps store plus all dlc for 20 bucks. I was hesitant at first because the time to platinum in all the guides said 100 hours. This is definitely not the case: if you're on the fence about it then i advise you to use @optimusmart's Speed platinum guide to get this platinum trophy around the 50 hour mark. Thanks dude, what a great guide. Now as for the game itself, i had heard wonderful things about it being the best RPG of our time, and a truly different and amazing experience. Although i DID actually have a lot of fun getting this plat, i'm afraid to say that maybe my expectations were too high. I loved the writing and the banter between characters in this game, Geralt's character is very badass, but tbh I found myself not caring too much about the story or the supporting characters because there was so much padding and filler put into the story. You spend 5 hours doing a story part and it just tells you: nope Ciri isn't here, go to another place for 7 hours to try and find out where she is, to only have that happen AGAIN. No answers about almost anything about the overall story and the main characters until past the halfway point of the game. The sidequests and Witcher contracts on the other hand were very interesting, byte-sized stories that fleshed out Geralt's and the world's character and lore. Plus Death March was pretty easy (though it'd be harder), Quen makes the game really easy. To compare Western RPGs that i played this year, i had more fun playing AC Odyssey than I did the Witcher, and i thought that would be IMPOSSIBLE due to the praise that this game gets. Maybe it's because the AC series has so much baggage that people already hate on it instead of looking at it objectively. Who knows though? Anyway, I may come off as negative but i really enjoyed this game, it's a shame that i had so much high expectations going in. Can't wait for my 150th plat (Please be good KH3)
Popular Post Nyariu
#19 英雄伝説 空の軌跡 FC Evolution THE LEGEND OF HEROES 全てのトロフィーを獲得した。 Enjoyment: 10/10 Difficulty: 5/10 oh boy this game really is a reminder of why I like JRPGs so much, it have great characters and voice acting, awesome music and artwork and a overall fun story with an amazing ending for me, it set up everything for SC without being boring, World building in a great way. A must play for the vita if you know Japanese (if you don't, play the PSP or Steam version but -do it- xD). As for the platinum, its easy, just having to do a new game plus for some and having to be well prepared in for the secret boss but overall it's more time consuming than hard.

Popular Post Conor
#19- KINGDOM HEARTS: BIRTH BY SLEEP FINAL MIX (PS4) Birth By Sleep Master Enjoyment: 8/10 Difficulty: 5/10 Time Taken: 1 Week, 4 Days, 21 Hours (55 Hours in-game time) Rarity: 1.2% Ultra Rare (PSN) / 6.98% Very Rare (PSNProfiles) Hardest Trophy: Critical Competitor (Gold)- Clear game on Critical The grind is real (redux)... Well I've nearly done it. One more platinum (Dream Drop Distance) and I will have achieved my goal of getting all Kingdom Hearts platinums including double-dips and this is my last one of those! Did it a lot faster than the PS3 version since I knew what I was doing. Not really a whole lot more to say about this game since the last time I got the platinum. It's really good. I enjoy the stories of Terra, Ventus and Aqua and am all the more excited to find out their ultimate fates in two weeks' time. My most hated thing about the plat, like on PS3, is that you have to do everything with all three characters and this includes that damned Command Board. It would have been tolerable with just one character, but three times having to play those Boards was infuriating even though I never lost a single game this time. So sure, it's not the grindiest game ever by any means but it's still not an enjoyable grind at all. Critical mode was far easier and quicker this time around too, although I spent some time beefing up Aqua since I remembered her fights being the hardest for me. Got through the Final and Secret Episodes with no hassle whatsoever thanks to that. Anyway, with just two weeks to go before Kingdom Hearts III finally drops, I'm going to go all out to get the last platinum I need to achieve the dumbest goal I've ever set for myself.

Popular Post jorgecarpio91
Platinum #33: The Order 1886 I would've been TRIGGERED if I bought this game full price when it released back in 2015. It is very short for a triple A game, with no replay value. That being said, I bought the game on sale on the PlayStation store for about $3. Although it is short, I had fun with it, and its an easy straightforward platinum with 7 gold trophies! I recommend this game only if its below $10, or if its a play station plus free game, I definitely recommend it, since you can get the platinum in a couple of days (if not hours) and move on. And I know graphics aren´t everything, but this game still looks incredible, even though it released more than 3 years ago!!!

Popular Post Carol
#146 Assassin's Creed Odyssey Epic Cycle Earn every trophy. Unfortunately, this game disappointed me a lot. I liked Origins quite a bit. It wasn't classic AC, but the game, overall, satisfied me. The main missions had some depth and the side missions were interesting too. I'm aware that Odyssey has been having good reviews and that people seem to like it, but, honestly, for me, this game just seemed like a cash grab. Both the main story and the Cultists branch of the story were pretty good and could have been used for much better missions. Unfortunately, both the main missions and the side missions were incredibly shallow and simplistic. The great majority of the side missions that I found in the open world while trying level up were just as simple as talking to someone, giving something or some money to someone or, at best, killing some guys. You do that and the game gives you thousands of XP. On the other hand, the main missions, supported by a pretty good and interesting story, were, unfortunately, also incredible simplistic and I actually felt that they had the depth of what a side quest is supposed to be. So, the feeling that I got from this game was that, after Ubisoft put a good effort into making AC Origins, they then just couldn't resist grabbing that work and making a similar game, without actually spending some time developing decent missions to support the story. It seems that they just wanted some quick money and this saddens me, because I think a successful franchise like AC deserved more respect. I just miss those grandious assassination missions, inside impressive historical buildings, with several entry points, with different and sometimes unique ways to killing your targets, with real need to have a strategy and to use stealth and not just, well... go kill some guy in a fort. I don't want to sound like everything was negative. Like I said, the story was good, I appreciated the choices that the game gave me and that allowed me to save some characters, the Atlantis missions were a bit better too, the conquest battles were fun, the platinum image is pretty good... It's just that I expect something more "epic" and memorable from an AAA game. Fortunately, I still have some older AC games that I haven't played yet and that probably are better than this recent trend.
Popular Post Sofa King
107 Old Man's Journey Nothing much gameplay-wise other than moving some hills around to get from point A to B, a relatively easy platinum but the painting style graphics made it worth playing. Popular Post cr1s
#397 and Trophy #17,000 - Mass Effect: Andromeda Andromeda's Finest Collect all trophies. Difficulty: 3/10 Enjoyment: 7.5/10 My favorite video game series of all time is completed once again! First of all, the platinum difficulty is that low because I did the multiplayer route for the difficulty-related trophy, i.e. I skipped an Insanity run and went for the 5 Gold Extractions in multiplayer. That's obviously a lot easier, especially if you happen to be in a team of high-leveled players who end up doing most of the work. Yes, I did it the easy way. Shame on me and all that jazz. So, Mass Effect: Andromeda... The "odd one out" in the Mass Effect series, according to a lot of people. I went in with lower expectations this time (partially because of that), but all things considered, it was actually quite an enjoyable journey! Contrary to the Shepard Trilogy, Andromeda takes place in Andromeda (for real ). Andromeda tries to distance itself from the Shepard Trilogy, even when Shepard is still (briefly) mentioned, the events are loosely connected to the trilogy, and the game takes place in the same universe with most of the existing lore being incorporated into it. It's different in that it has a brand new story with a brand new cast of characters. The former is fairly decent, but leaves much to be desired. The latter is quite varied and includes most of the alien species. The game has so many humorous moments that it felt like I was playing Mass Effect 3's Citadel DLC at times. In addition to that, the conversations are usually entertaining, even if the dialogue is a bit weak here and there. Some of my favorite moments are those random conversations and friendly banters on the ship and between the two squadmates you take with you when landing on planets. Speaking of which, Drack is hands down my favorite squadmate. His snarky remarks never fail to crack me up and he's a badass who can and will casually rush towards enemies and mash that melee button like a boss (at least on Normal difficulty). The graphics and level of detail that went into the different worlds are absolutely amazing! Easily some of the best I've seen on PS4 so far. The scenery and environments are just breathtaking, and sometimes I can't help but stop for a bit and look at them because they're so beautiful and rich. If only I were playing it on a bigger TV (I have a 32" Sony Bravia in my small room) because damn, this game deserves it! Combat is more or less the same as previous installments' (even a bit better overall), so no complaints here. Exploration is greatly recommended, as the game is packed with side content, most of which is worth experiencing. The platinum trophy took me around 75 hours, and that's including about 12 hours for the few multiplayer trophies. I've completed all of the single-player trophies in 63 hours, and I was at 84% in-game completion when I did so. I went for most of the side content (some of which isn't even required for the platinum trophy) and didn't regret spending all of that additional time doing so. The story is rather short compared to the amount of content Andromeda has to offer, which is a real pity. There's always the sequel, though! Or not... The game has its fair share of problems, but they haven't hampered my enjoyment of the game too much. For one, it still has a lot of technical problems in both single player and multiplayer after all this time. Things like NPCs teleporting, enemies occasionally moonwalking, some animation glitches. Hell, my character even randomly repeated an exact line of dialogue she had said way earlier in the story! However, things like that don't matter too much to me in the grand scheme of things. They're still there, though, and the game could've used a few more months for the these issues to be ironed out. Would I still recommend this game? Yes. However, don't expect anything stellar like any of the previous games. If you lower your expectations then you will probably enjoy it for what it is. The good news is that you don't need to have played the Shepard Trilogy beforehand to fully understand the story of this game. However, I'd highly recommend doing so if you can find the time for it!
