Popular Post RuNNinG-sCaRe_D
#100 - Life is Strange I wanted my 100. Platinumtrophy-Milestone a game, that is special to me ? Was also thinking about Psychonauts, Resident Evil 1 or Final Fantasy VII... #101 - Blackwood Crossing Short and easy, but i didn't like the story much. Kinda boring for me... #102 - Black Mirror [2018] Oh... I love the original Point and Click-Adventure "Black Mirror" from 2004 and 2 & 3 weren't bad either. But this... lame story with visions and it's a technical mess => loading times are too long for an adventure and i had crashes. I know the developers can do better! #103 - The Council This game surprised me. Great mix of elements from poltics, occultism and crime combined with rpg (you can unlock abilities). They'll help with dialogs, solving riddles and add some more informations to your environment. Very good game. One of my highlights from 2018.
Popular Post DJROE95
Platinum #200 - Living Legend Dragon Quest XI: Echos of an Elusive Age Difficulty : 2/10 Enjoyment : 9.5/10 Total time to platinum : 78 hours Finally got to 200 platinums and although I’ve traditionally made LEGO games my milestones I simply could not stop playing this amazing game! It’s my first DQ game and certainly shan’t be my last! The old school turn based gameplay, great characters (not one party member I didn’t love) and stunning art style make this a must play. Very proud of this one and thrilled to have it as my 200th platinum. The hunt for 300 platinums starts now! Popular Post TheActualMeg4cy
Red Dead Redemption 2 (PS4) 2nd Platinum of 2019 - #45 "Legend of the West" (Not sure why BUT they decided to use the title of the platinum as the description as well... slightly lazy) Red Dead Redemption 2... what an experience. Red Dead Redemption 2 is actually my 1st ever Red Dead game in the series (tried to play through the 1st game back in the day on the 360 but could never get through the starting missions... too boring). Thinking about it - it is almost the same experience here too. The starting missions in this game are just as slow if not even slower than the first starting missions in the 1st game, so if anyone is in the same boat as myself - might be worth looking back into the 1st game again. ANYWAY - onto the review of my experience with getting the platinum in this and overall thoughts on the game. I'll split this down very quickly into 3 areas - Singleplayer, Multiplayer & Trophies. So for the SP component - it is absolutely fantastic. The story telling in this game compared to their previous title (Grand Theft Auto V) is above and beyond what you'd expect. Rockstar has managed to (for the probably 1st time in a long long while) make me care and actually think about Arthur Morgan as a character. The characters you interact with and the not-so-nice people you encounter do wonderful all-round in creating this immersive story with a bitter-sweet pay-off. People are going to naturally discover that the game does in-fact play quite slowly. There are a lot of different commands tied to particular button presses so you may find yourself struggling to get around it at first. I promise though... if you loved the 1st game in the series; you will most definitely enjoy the experience here in getting to see familiar faces and areas. MP... well - the less said about that... the better, honestly. MP is more or less looking likely to go down the same route of Grand Theft Auto Online - which started off not so bad and then eventually went crazy with greed for the cash. Rockstar intend to delivery regular content updates to the online aspect with new weapons and clothing options. The biggest problem? Low Payouts and extremely tedious leveling process. Players are encouraged to not grief (supposedly coming with a future update) though the fact there is no such thing as private/friend only lobbies has me questioning their thinking behind allowing others to see people on the map. I would naturally recommend people avoid transactions but for the sake of peace and getting through it as fast as possible - see below in the trophy section for some advise. On paper - the trophies seem rather comfortable and easy this time round... on paper. I would argue that in terms of the collectibles; Red Dead Redemption 2 has got the most to collect with a huge density and variation in tasks and requirements to obtain the 100%. (This doesn't include the fact that you MUST skin and study all animals on the base land to obtain 2 individual trophies) Hunting Perfect "skins" will play a huge role in one of the more "interesting" trophies - won't spoil this trophy for anyone that is yet to tackle it but fair warning... be prepared to do plenty of saving/loading. The worst trophy however - by all accounts - Gold Rush. Gold Rush requires you to obtain 70 gold medals... sounds good, right? It wasn't too bad in GTA V, how could it be any worse this time? Simple - Rockstar have changed how medals are granted and no longer are the days in which you could tackle individual objectives... you MUST complete all objectives in a single run on that mission to obtain the gold or you will not be granted it. Prepare to do plenty of restarting if you intend to do what most people would and play through the game blindly without the need to use a guide on their first playthrough (which IMO, ruins the experience entirely if you're having to use a guide on how to obtain gold medals 1st time). I should lastly mention that not only do you have this new "rule" against you - your character will be at their stock no matter the mission/chapter. So yes - if you have to replay quite a bit of missions from the later chapters for them gold medals - you will be using Stock Arthur which means starting health, stamina and dead-eye. MP wise - trophies are actually not too bad either, which leads me to the wonderful plug (swear - not an employee of Rockstar) of the advise piece. There is a bundle on the store that grants you an additional 25 Gold Bars for €4.99 (other currencies unknown). This bundle will help greatly in the cut-down of some of these trophies - the most notable being the camp/horse trophies. Rank 50 (not 100 this time round compared to GTA Online) sounds reasonable until you discover just how barren the current setup of the mode really is at this current time. My recommendation for anyone tackling Rank 50 - ensure you use the XP Trick listed in the guide in regards to the Checkpoint "Exploit" as you're gonna be grinding quite a bit even with that trick. Overall Difficulty - 7/10 The game has a bump in difficulty solely based on the extreme number of collectible strands and Gold Medals on Replay + huge grind in terms of XP/Cash for MP. Overall Enjoyment - 9/10 Red Dead Redemption 2 is a fantastic experience that shouldn't be passed up by fans of the series and fans of Rockstar Games. Yes - there is a little bit of slowness to the game and it can appear/feel clunky at times but considering how much work and sweat and tears were poured into this game during production... it would be a crime to not give it a spin on your console.
Popular Post voodoo_eyes
#338 - Strange Brigade Fun game overall, albeit a bit simplistic. Kind of enjoyed the puzzles more than the shooting. It's a solid game that has decent amount of content, but can get a tad repetitive towards the end. Soloing horde mode was a bit of a pain, but still doable. Quick shoutout to @Hippic for helping out with the co-op stuff. Popular Post GraniteSnake
#106: Enigmatis: The Ghosts of Maple Creek I found the hidden object scenes to be quite difficult in this game, apart from those it was relatively straightforward. Another pretty strange plot that sets the scene for the next entry which is on PS Now. I'll be sure to play it at some point. I don't like how to same voice is used for every female protagonist in these games but that's only a small complaint. Another solid point and click. #107: Eventide 2: Sorcerer's Mirror I found this much easier than the above point and click. The hidden object puzzles weren't bad and the game itself was short and a lot less intricate. I played the first on PS Now, and will pick up the 3rd entry when it's under €5. Another fable it seems, and yet again the female protagonist had the same voice. This game also introduced choices, but they didn't have much of an affect on the outcome of the game. Another solid entry from Artifex Mundi. #108: Everything Really enjoyed this game during the first few hours, but it slowly got repetitive and I just ended up leaving the game on auto-play for the majority of the 15 hours I played for. Alan Watts' tape recordings were really profound and interesting, even if I couldn't fully understand what he was talking about. The game really makes you think if you try and interpret the recordings.. especially the later ones. A very unique game and I'm glad I got to experience it. #109: FullBlast My fastest platinum at just under 14 minutes. Never thought I'd platinum a game quicker than Jack N' Jill DX but it seems I was wrong! The trophies really do pop rapidly in this one.. not a bad game by any means but the platinum really does pop WAY too early. Now to make a game from my backlog platinum #110... haven't decided what I feel like playing yet though.

Popular Post fantrig99
#103 DISSIDIA FINAL FANTASY NT Champion of Champions Obtained all trophies The Dissidia series are Final Fantasy character based fighting games first appeared on the PSP. Back in the day, I was enthralled by these games where the heroes and villains from their respective numbered series getting to fight each other was something I always hoped for as a Final Fantasy fan. With the variety of character customizations and addictive action based gameplay, I spent many hours in these games and eagerly awaited for a possible next entry. After years later, the latest reboot entry was released to arcades in Japan. It later got ported to the PS4, renamed as Dissidia Final Fantasy NT, and considered as the 3rd game in the Dissidia series. There were several different changes like adding new FF characters up to the fifteenth FF installment whilst not including some others (Other characters might later release as DLCs). Gameplays were similar using Bravery to build up damage values and using HP attacks to defeat opponents though with less customizations from previous entries. The quite significant change was the absence of 1 versus 1 battles and only 3 versus 3 gameplay more competitive in nature similar to its arcade counterpart. Additionally, the original arcade version had no storymode and was later incorporated into the PS4 port. Seeing all the different FF heroes and villains interactions were some of the highlights of the story for me though it kinda felt short and wish it could be longer. Online portion took a major role in this game and players can select their characters to compete with others in 3v3 battles and raising their own character ranks range from Bronze to Crystal. The trophies in this game involves offline story based ones, extra postgame story battles, acquiring different numbers of treasures, and the most tedious being the online trophies. There are some exploits that allows an easier time with the online requirements using the MTU trick though it varies with different connectivity of players. Offline is quite a grind with the levels to get 300 treasures and summon battles are a challenge for me on hard difficulty. Despite the differences, I highly enjoyed this new Dissidia HD installment and the action packed based gameplay with the memorable characters of heroes and villains in the FF series. After experiencing this game and seeing these characters once again, the fantasy continues. Popular Post Zangril
#64 Kingdom Hearts Dream Drop Distance Difficulty: 3/10 Enjoyment: 9/10Rarity: 9.02% (Very Rare) The last KH game with a platinum is done. The platinum for this game was one of the easier to get. I had a lot of fun with this game. The only thing I'm disappointed in is that they wasted the Hunchback in this game. I wish they would have saved that for a major title and done it justice.

Popular Post Ala-Arska
#450: Tales of Berseria Champion of Berseria Proof of conquering the world with Velvet and company. Thank you for playing! It's not easy being green, but it's easy being a Normin! Milestone time! Now with all localized Tales of... games Platted! Or so I thought... I was in the middle of this game when I noticed that Tales of Vesperia's PS4 version had come out. That means there's still one more... No matter, since Berseria was a very enjoyable piece of JRPG and with all the tropes I've come to love and hate about the series. Story and overall mood is a bit more serious than usual, this being a revenge tale 'n all. Being a criminal dick is the name of the game here. Although the main protagonist (almost antagonist) is kind of an a**hole, I still liked her. Not just because of boobs, but...okay, mainly because of boobs And while it's as clichê as hell, I enjoyed watching that age old "from heartless bastard to caring being" character arc of hers. I said character arc, you pervs Combat is as fluid as in the best of the series (Symphonia, Xillia, Graces f, Hearts R...). It's fast, comborrific, and filled with OP Mystic Artes. Graphics are clean, landscapes offer the normal terrains such as caverns, volcanos and ice fields. Draw distances are quite acceptable, which is a plus always. What I didn't like was the needless grind after doing story+side quests+bonus dungeon. Do X amount of this and get X amount of money Gald, makes you ask Y Combining this with somewhat non-favoring RNG makes the end drag a while. At least one can always listen to good music while farming away. Tales of...series rarely lets down (Dawn of the New World, blergh!), and Berseria is a very fine addition to collection too. Get it, gawk at it and whip it real good
Popular Post Leon Castle
#132 Atelier Lydie & Suelle: The Alchemists and the Mysterious Paintings 13th Jan 2019 The game I got from Dad on Christmas well originally it was a Christmas stocking gift since Senran Kagura Burst Re:Newal turned out to come tomorrow, so they traded places. Now this game is the Sequel to both Atelier Sophie: The Alchemist of the Mysterious Book and Atelier Firis: The Alchemist and the Mysterious Journey and is about the twins Lydie & Sue that wants to make their Atelier the best in the kingdom as they promised their Mother before she died while they was small. This game ends all (Feels like all) side arc that was since the first game like Sophie's first goal etc. also I ended up using DLC I got for the game, now I did not buy All DLC but only the ones I liked which was the two DLC characters "Lucia as I like Twintails" and "Ii-chan as I liked her from Atelier Firis" and the all the Nights of Azure 2 Levels and OST(I used The OST "Lucia" for all not event fights, yes I used a final boss song then fighting a weak Puni) I liked the OST "Beyond the Fate"

I originally started this with a friend and we were gonna do it all together, but we only ever played once and he left PSN shortly after. This isn't really the genre of game that I personally enjoy, but I did have at least some fun with it during the boosting sessions I was a part of. Popular Post Terra
#161 - Death Mark (Vita) Death Mark Looking forward to more terror descending upon you who has overcome all fear. Difficulty: 1/10 Enjoyment: 8/10 What a journey this was. A little delayed but I'm glad I got around to it. The plot kind of jumbles around early on and each chapter has a bit of trouble fitting in with the previous ones, thus it makes the story a little incoherent at times but the flow is not broken. Simple premise without spoilers? You (Protagonist) find yourself at a mansion with a strange mark on your arm and without your memories. It is up to you to find out where the mark came from. There wasn't really a weak chapter but I would say the one that had the least impact was probably the second one due to personal preferences but regardless it was an enjoyable read and interactive adventure. Apparently there's another chapter (DLC) that I will see if I can get as the Vita version does not include it on the cartridge. 8/10 overall
