Popular Post Zach
#122 and trophy milestone #5000! Spyro 3: Year of the Dragon Enjoyment: 10/10 Difficulty: 3/10 Time: 7hrs 32minutes The PlayStation 1 was my first home console. I got Spyro 3 in Xmas 2002 and it was my favorite PS1 game of all time (I didn't get the chance to play FF7 back then so don't hurt me lol). I was 7yrs old and was super excited to play this game as it had already been out for 2yrs. Booting this game up in 2019 after 12yrs was one of the best feelings ever. I played this game so much as a kid. I got all the gems and the eggs as a kid. Getting 100% isn't required for the platinum (It is for Spyro 1 and 2) but I will be going back to get 100% in this game. I just have 5 levels left to 100%. Playing this game over a decade later with all the upgraded visuals was a real treat. I remember perfectly Bianca's character development and also getting revenge on Moneybags. Man.... I'm not even sure what to play next after re-experiencing this masterpiece of a game. Edited January 27, 2019 by Zach
Popular Post Deadly_Ha_Ha
#19 - Dark Souls 2 Difficulty - 5/10 Enjoyment - 3/10 Ok, I'd been working on this one for quite some time. I handle my account like this: 2 games at once, max. One game as a solo 100%, one game as a co-op 100%. This had been Battle Chasers and DS2 respectively. I did not like this game, at all. My enjoyment was strictly derived from playing it with my friends because solo this would have been intolerable to me. Between this account and my original, I've gotten the plat/100% in every game except DeS at least once, and I can safely say this game is doodoo. Its "difficulty" is more accurately its "cheapness". Unlike most other Souls games including Bloodborne, Dark Souls 2 had the bad habit of making the areas unfair, the volume of enemies unfair, and not the good habit of making the enemies and bosses better designed to be actually challenging. In this, you learn simply to accept how stupid the game is instead of learning how to best its systems and enemy/boss patterns like in better FROMSoft efforts. I'd have also likely given it a lower difficulty rating, because like in other Souls games there really is strength in numbers, and blowing through it with friends makes it somewhat trivial, except that in the compulsory NG+ and NG++ runs when I was doing it this weekend, the servers imploded and I couldn't actually summon my friends. It gave me some context into what the game was like solo at higher difficulties, and I could feel the good that the game could have been if it wasn't so otherwise frustrating. I challenge anyone reading this who has played DS2, please tell me how many times The Old Iron King himself killed you, relative to how many times that pit killed you, or how many times the unreasonable knockback sent you into the lava. It felt like at every turn, the developers of DS2 were asking themselves not how they could design an interesting situation, but how many mooks to launch at the player to kill them; how to design the boss arena to make the environment as cheap as possible instead of how to make a well designed fight; where to insert the last area's boss as a regular enemy encounter somewhere else instead of using their brains to make the game varied. Not all was absolute trash in this game, but man was it a grind.

Popular Post SereneSilent
#27 Monster Hunter: World It only took a Year and almost a whole day to Platinum this game... I wonder why . Where do I begin...? To me Monster Hunter World holds a special place in my heart as it is My second (Technically 4th) Monster Hunter game. My very first game in the series was Freedom 2 then upgraded to Unite, never finished Portable 3rd and then this. Played Freedom 2/ Unite to it's final bosses so I do have an understanding of the game and know how challenging it can be. Them hitboxes in Unite. I could have bought a DS or Switch when the other games came out but I couldn't afford it at the time. Even now I could buy a switch but if I buy it I would prefer to buy other games and not just have one game only. So when I heard that a Monster Hunter Game was coming to console I was filled with happiness and excitement because I was like 12 or 13 years when I first played Monster Hunter and told myself If this ever came to console I would buy it. I would eventually buy a PS4 and other games since I wouldn't just be playing World but that's enough talk about memory lane from me and onto the game! If you ever played a Monster Hunter Game, more specifically the recent games, then you'll have an understanding on what you have to do and play. For those new to the Series or willing to try it for the first time, let me try to describe the game as best as I can without spoiling much about the Game and Series in general. First of all Monster Hunter Games don't follow the previous titles, they are their own "timeline" / story if you will. The type of games they are, it is best describe as grinding. You slain monsters for their materials to create armor and weapons. You continue this process until you reach the endgame, If this is something that is not your style I understand why you may avoid this but if you still want to play this despite the grinding then welcome to the series! So what is this game about? I can give this, You are a Hunter who has decided to join the fifth fleet, a group of hunters that have decided to embark on a Journey to the New World (Unexplored territory) to expand their guilds and knowledge. Once you watch a cut-scene you are able to create your own character and Palico companion (A Felyne). After a couple of story related game play once you reach to Astera which is your new home you will finally be able to choose your weapon. You can switch your weapon at anytime so you are not constricted to one only, feel free to experiment each weapon and choose what you like. Each weapon has their strength and weakness so no matter what people say about a weapon use what YOU want to use. You begin fighting with weaker monster and as you continue in the game you will fight tougher enemies, soon after you reach a point in the game where you will fight "High Rank" versions of the monsters. That is pretty much all I can say about this game. Sure this seems like a simple game but trust me the monsters in this game and weapons are going to enhance your experience playing this game. More importantly since Monster Hunter tends to have multiplayer, playing this with friends and strangers further enhances. What about the trophies you may ask? What do I have to do in order to get the Platinum if I want to go for it? Standard story related trophies, online trophies, a bit of RNG trophies and grinding. Such RNG would be find and capture certain wildlife as pets and of course what will take you a while to get.... Gold Crowns for Giant and Miniatures for nearly every monster. Certain monsters are exempt from this, such as monsters that have been added since the first major patch and onward. Grinding trophies relate to money, points and quests. Difficulty: 5/10 (For me at least, this varies on you and your skills with your weapon) Enjoyment: 10/10 (I have waited for this since my young teenage years)

Popular Post Nyariu
#20(Also trophy #1000) 英雄伝説 空の軌跡 SC Evolution THE LEGEND OF HEROES 全てのトロフィーを獲得した。 Enjoyment: 10/10 Difficulty: 6/10 Just spectacular... it takes all the good of the first one and make it better, the characters get developed nicely, the soundtrack and artwork are great and the mini games and expanded combat makes the experience better, one of the things that I liked it's that by transferring your data of the first one you get some good added conversation with characters of the previous game. The platinum is harder that the first one mainly because there's a lot of enemies that you can miss for a trophy and also there's more new game+ enemies compared to the first one so the nightmare run requires some more preparation but there's also more trophies so its more worth it xD. For me a must play, it made me fan of the series so now I'm gonna play them all but I got a felling that it's gonna take a while hahaha.
Popular Post NorbR338055
#25 - Steep Difficulty: 5/10 Enjoyment: 8/10 What a surprisingly enjoyable game! I really wasn't planning on getting the platinum for this one. I got the game for free on PS Plus, and I figured I'd just give it a try, kick around the mountain for a bit, but no way I'd go chasing 115 gold medals, too grindy ... Well yes it's grindy, but I always had fun going for new challenges. Some sports are more enjoyable than others, with the wingsuit being the most fun for sure. But I liked all of them, even the paragliding that so many people seem to dislike. Once you get the hang of it it's really quite pleasant. The game is not perfect though, the controls can be frustrating sometimes, and I've had the game crash on me several times, which is really quite annoying (it's not like the game was just released ...) Some of the challenges can also be infuriating, when the slightest bump in the slope can send you flying without notice ... But all in all I had a lot of fun with all challenges. For the most part they're not too difficult, but some of them require dedication for sure. In the end I was left with 4 challenges where I couldn't get the gold medal within a reasonable amount of time, say 30 minutes max. These were the classics, La Fieuse and Fallen Rocks for the wingsuit, and that stupid Lumberjack race (medium!) which is the only one that truly made me ragequit. And for some reason, a race called Picture Challenge, which really seemed like nothing special (and after a quick Google, it doesn't seem to pose problems to many others), but that was my last gold medal, and it took me like 2 hours to get it. Go figure. So lots of fun. I love it when PS+ throws unexpected gems like that. Anyone who got this game on PS+ as well, I'd recommend to give it a try. (Also, it was almost refreshing to play this game throughout this scorcher of a January here in Australia!) Popular Post LimitedTimeGamer
30# - Steins Gate Sky Clad Observer Date Earned: January 28th 2019 Completed in 3 Years, 7 months Originally, my plan for Platinum 30 was the FFXIV platinum. But i have to do 900+ fates in that, among other things. Then i switched my mind to Tales Of Vesperia Definative edition, because of the stamp trophies, since i am a postie IRL. But Kingdom Hearts 3 is tomorrow, and since i didnt want a new release game to be a milestone without knowing the significance of it, i hopped back into my growing backlog and found a VN to beat. Steins gate was a introduction to anime for me. Its one of the rare shows that all my friends enjoyed, and really drew you in to the plot. Since this is a Novel, i wont spoil it here, but everyone needs to give this a good read/watch the anime, and now is a good time with Steins Gate Elite coming out soonish.

Popular Post Masamune
Living Legend Awarded for earning all available trophies. Difficulty: 4/10 Enjoyment: 9/10 Playtime: 89:09:00 (1 week, 6 days, 22 hours) Screenshot: Nothing fancy, just the "Fin" screen at the end of the game. But I was actually surprised it took, I was still in a blocked scene when that popped? Spoiler This was an awesome game, one of the best I've played from Square Enix in a long time. It has just the right amount of difficulty, great story, & best of all... it's still turn-based! I honestly expected Square to screw that last part up. Anyways... it's a near perfect game, I don't really have much to point out in terms of flaws, the main thing I can think of is the fact that *spoiler* Spoiler Veronica never got back her original body, not even at the end. ? The Seer changes her back for like 2 minutes to preform a ritual with her sister, but then she's back in her child form right after! The trophies are pretty easy, the most annoying one is getting all the unique costumes, which requires you doing multiple different sidequests, treasure hunting, etc... but nothing too difficult. I almost hit 90 hours & I didn't even do everything there is in the game, I left some sidequests & post-game events untouched. ? This is one of those rare game you could've even pre-ordered & still got your money's worth out of it. I highly recommend trying this one out if you haven't yet (even if you haven't played a DQ game before, if you like turn-based JRPGs, get it).
Popular Post ShonenCat
Platinum #32 - Arcana Heart 3 Love Max Difficulty Rating 5/10 Enjoyment Rating 7/10 Ultra Rare - 1.61% First Achievers - #46 Fastest Achievers - #4 While I think the difficulty rating should be much higher, I'm only basing it from the PS Trophies roadmap. But how can one say no to an all waifu roster fighting game? It's like two of the greatest things coming together! Don't let this game's flowery facade fool you. It's one major grind that will have you doing a bunch of unnecessary tasks just for the sake of trophies, but it also completes the in-game gallery so I suppose that's cool. It also has it's fair share of ordeals and trial mode bosses that are extremely difficult to beat. Even though I'm an above average player at fighting games, I had no chance against these titans normally. Luckily, there is a cheese. Use Angelia as your main fighter at all times and select Oreichalkos the Metal as your Arcana. Whenever you can, you'll be charging your Arcana Guage to max level so you can pull off her Critical Heart constantly. It involves a large clocktower crash landing on the entire battlefield and the CPU usually has no clue how to counter this. This method got me through time attack, survival score attack and even the trial mode bosses. I wouldn't be standing here with the Platinum or the number four spot on "fastest achievers" without this cheese ? Many thanks to @Honor_Hand for teaching it to me ^^ The online trophies are easy but painfully time consuming. You have to get 10,000 LP with one character. You earn the most points playing online and should rake in 11-19 LP per match. This was the straw that finally broke the camel's back and made me invest in a turbo controller. Soul Calibur V was almost that game that made me give in, but somehow I managed to tough that out till I got to Arcana Heart 3 Love Max. Together with @Honor_Hand we left our turbo controllers to do most of the online work for us Do I recommend this game? To stare at Mei-Fang alone is totally worth it to me ❤️ As for everyone else, if you like attractive, colorful anime girls and can hold your own in a fighting game, then yes, this game will give you a super hearty challenge. For those who will be consumed by frustration, I recommend looking elsewhere. Tekken 7 is still a rather easy Platinum for those who want to ease their way into fighting games before climbing up the ladder to something more difficult. I'm here to let you know what you're getting yourself into: hot chicks and major grinding. Hey, it doesn't sound so bad when I put it like that ?

Heresy!~ 31# - Steins Gate Zero To The Promised Place Date Earned: January 28th 2019 Completed in 2 Years, 1 month The Prequel/Interquel/Sequel to Steins Gate (All of those do apply if you know the source material) I have to admit with this one, i skipped a lot of the dialogue, mainly because i have the anime on my backlog list. Fortunatly, this one was a lot easier to complete, with you only needing to save at 4 specific junctions. None of the LINE messages were nessicary to complete the game bar one, and overall, it was a pretty interesting plot, going off the pictures. Only complaint i have is that there were some untranslated things, such as most of the phone menu's and the FINAL MOVIE Give this one a shot if you have beaten the original. Popular Post DarkSoleride
Platinum No 105 Name: Platinum Game: Lego Batman 3: Beyond Gotham Format: PS Vita Date Achieved: 26/01/2019 Recently i have been showing my PS Vita a lot of love mainly because i am just scared someday Sony will pull all support including server sync or something. Probably just my own paranoia. Anyway here is the latest PS Vita plat Lego Batman 3 Beyond Gotham, and i believe my 5th LEGO platinum trophy too from the Vita games. (Don't really bother with the PS3 or 4 versions) This game is actually a lot of fun i have been reading on the LEGO Vita games that don't glitch on you regarding gameplay and trophies. The game itself is your standard LEGO game, use various characters to collect items and get through levels, build and create components to unlock the hidden Red Bricks and Joker Cards. I played LEGO Batman 1 on PSP and skipped DC Super Heroes because i read it was glitched in some aspects in regards to trophies. However this one was fairly smooth. There are some parts which require a heavy sinker character like The Croc, but getting some collectables with him can cause him to get stuck in certain areas which is annoying. The game does not freeze because of this, but you have to fight with the controller and suspending and resuming the application seems to fix it, without having to restart the level. Overall i would rate the game 8/10 for enjoyment, difficulty 1/10 with a guide like a 3/10 without due to some of the Techno puzzles being a bit annoying and its not clear which lantern character is who unless you know to be used for some of the puzzle spots. But yeah good game

Just like with the platinum for Persona 5 Dancing this is a game I enjoyed playing a great deal simply because there's really no music like Persona and I can listen to this until the end of time. The trophy isnt at all hard to get and sometimes I just want that kind of "challenge" where I get the plat through relaxing. A nice break from games that ask a lot more effort which I will focus on once more. As always, damn fun!
Popular Post madbuk
#300 - Downwell It's finally over. I only started this just over 4 days ago, but it has been the only game I have played since starting it and it has felt like much longer. I decided this would be my milestone a while ago, as I was approaching 300 and I try and get an UR plat for every 100 (100 was Killzone: Mercenary, 200 was Furi). This looked like the most fun of my options - I was mainly looking at my PS+ list for options and this is the only one that stood out. Unfortunately, it is not quite as fun as I had expected/hoped. Every level is a clusterfuck of enemies, coming at you from everywhere on the screen, and it's pretty easy to get hit by something you hadn't seen because you were focused elsewhere. The upgrades you get are also completely RNG which is annoying, and every level is randomly generated which can lead to some pretty annoying scenarios where you're basically destined to be hit. There were many times during the past 4 days where I was going to give up on this. If the looming deadline of Kingdom Hearts III's release hadn't existed and I wasn't one plat away from a milestone, I almost definitely would have given up. As time began to run out though, I desperately wanted to get this done so it didn't eat into my KH3 time tomorrow, and it makes me pretty relieved to know it's done in time and I can spend all day tomorrow enjoying KH3 when it (hopefully) arrives, without thinking about this game at all. As I played, I could very, very gradually feel myself getting better in the game and getting further into it. It took an entire day to finish normal mode, but now normal feels so easy to me that if I wanted to I could probably consistently go back and beat it once every few attempts. Hard mode is the real platinum blocker here. The boss shoots out way more enemies, attacks more often, takes more damage, and in general all the levels just have way more enemies littered everywhere. Area 1 actually seemed to be the hardest of them all (there are 4 areas in the game, excluding the boss area) which is a little strange. Area 4 has the most enemies but it's so easy to build up combos there so that you get health back anyway to make up for the damage you take. I dread to think how many hours I've poured into this game when you consider the fact that it only takes about 10-15 minutes to actually finish the game on hard if you're successful. I'm so glad it's finished.
