Popular Post Charizarzar
98: God of War II Trophy of Gaia Enjoyment: 9/10 Difficulty: 2.5/10 I've been marathoning the PS3 GoW games lately and they just seem to be getting better and better. This has definitely been my favourite so far! Interested to see if III can top this. It's made a lot of improvements on the first game- smoother gameplay, and additional mechanics such as Icarus' wings, more boss fights and an awesome ending. Also, trophy-wise it seemed a lot easier than all of the others. I don't mind a bit of difficulty but it was nice to be able to save after each challenge and to not really get frustrated by anything.
Popular Post Masamune
Party like it's 2024 Win all trophies in Spyro 3 Difficulty: 2.5/10 Enjoyment: 8.5/10 Playtime: 9:40:13 (22 hours, 58 minutes, 47 seconds) Screenshot: I was hoping it'd take the shot when I flamed his ass... oh well. Spoiler This was probably the easiest one yet (but also the longest), & I was going through getting 100% on each stage because I assumed I'd need it for the plat. But that ends the Spyro trilogy! I had more fun than I expected playing these games again, & I'm glad I have it now too since I no longer have my PS1 copies. I have the Crash trilogy too, but I have a feeling those'll be a lot harder than the Spyro games. ? In total, I probably only spent around 25 hours on all 3 of the games, I'm kinda surprised they gave us 3 platinums for that. When I first heard about the remake, I expected it to be all on one list (although I'm not complaining). Popular Post Viper
#149 Ratchet & Clank: Into the Nexus (PS3)The Pride of Fastoon Welp that's the end of a long journey. I had never played Ratchet & Clank on PS2 back in the day, so my first go round with the series was when we got All 4 One from back in like 2013...and I really enjoyed that game (which says a lot, because people seem to hate it). So about 3 years ago, I bought THIS game in a sale for super cheap, and it came with "Quest for Booty" for free...so instead of starting on it, I made the decision to just buy ALL the R&C games that were available on PS3, that includes Tools of Destruction which has no trophies...and decided to just play everything in order, which ended with Into the Nexus. This is a hell of a series that I never should have missed out on, it was one of those games like Spyro, Crash, Sly Cooper, etc, where instead of playing them, I just judged them as being games for little kids, so I never had any interest. But I see how wrong I was. This series was a blast to play through...even if Tools of Destruction was a little rough for me to get through with the lack of trophies (I felt like I had no end goal, so it took me about a year to finish playing it on and off). Into the Nexus was fun...but it was very short, and felt like a bit of detraction. A Crack in Time was my favorite in the series with Up Your Arsenal taking a close second. I do have the PS4 Remake sitting on my shelf...that will mostly likely get played this year. Edited January 30, 2019 by Viper

Popular Post Eramir
Platinum #32: Far Cry 3: Classic Edition My first platinum of the year. Started a week ago, never played this game before. Although I have played the Far Cry games that came after this one. I really like this game and I see the foundation being made here for the future games in the series. Got this game with the season pass of Far Cry 5, and this game alone was worth it. I don't know which game is next, maybe Titanfall 2, Dishonored 2, or a quick one.. We will see! ?
Popular Post TraumaticChain6
#49: Styx: Master of shadows Difficulty: 5/10 Enjoyment: 8/10 Rarity: 2,50% I completed the story back in 2016 and thought that it was time to get the platinum. I enjoyed the game but there were some points that frustrated me. The grabbing mechanisme sometimes just didn't work, meaning I would plummet to my death or on a enemy. The game doesn't explain a lot so it's easy to forget that you can whistle to distract enemies for example. Also tips that come on the screen go away really fast, giving you no time to read them. The game is harder in the beginning because you need skillpoints to upgrade Styx. On my first playthrough I found it hard to navigate sometimes because the sublevels (each mission is divided in 3 or 4 areas) are big and some of the paths looked impossible to use at first. The first time I played, every mission took me like an hour to finish. The biggest flaw of this game is the loading screen. It can take a long time to load so it's really frustrating to immediately die or fail after the load. Every mission has it's own submissions like collecting something or killing someone. I found that a nice addition to the game. Also every mission has 4 insignias to unlock (collecting all tokens, no enemies killed, speedrun and no alarms). The token collecting was really frustrating because they were placed in really hard locations to go sometimes. Every mission has also a relic to collect. In the menu there is always a tip where to find them but these tips are mostly really bad. I was not a fan of the enviroments in the game. You go to the same areas multiple times with almost no changes and because most of them look boring it felled like a drag to go trough them again. The game could use some more enviroments. Altough the developers succeded in creating a dark and depressing world so I give them that. The OST is really nice to. Another big plus point is that you can save at any time. This is a real life saver and makes the game a little bit easier. Especially in the speedrun. I wouldn't recommend this game to people who want to tip there toe in the stealth genre. This game is a little to hard and requires perfect timing sometimes. For people who love the stealth genre I would say, give it a try. The platinum can be really frustrating if you keep failing at the same area time after time, but in the end I'm really happy to have it.
Popular Post Aranea Highwind
Raccoon City Native Obtain all trophies. Excellent game really. Capcom has proved they can still make horror RE tittles from the third person perspective. I really hope they continue making RE games on this style as i prefer to see my character instead of being a first person horror game. At first i was disappointed with the remake OST but after playing other playthroughs with the classic OST i can understand why Capcom went with atmospheric low volume OST. Really fun game but having to complete the game over 4 times can be an obstacle for some people. So far this is my GOTY and something i'd recommend.

Popular Post Katt
Gravity Rush 2 Ultimate Shifter Collected every trophy. God... how do I start this one...? This post will contain spoilers. If you haven't played the game or haven't reached the end, don't open these spoilers. Well, this was one hell of a ride. All my questions from the first game were answered, all of them. Spoiler All governments are corrupt, even the fictional ones. Eto bastards. The journey to go back to Hekseville ends with Kat and the Creators sacrificing themselves to protect everyone in the world in a memorable fight against a large Nevi while the whole city sings "A Red Apple Fell From The Sky". I don't like that, I don't like endings where the protagonists ends up sacrificing themselves. And yet, I cannot hate this ending because, until the very end, Kat's desire to protect everyone makes her give up on life for the sake of others. A true hero. I loved how in the first ending... Spoiler ...you can see that this game was directed by the same guy who directed Silent Hill, lol. I'll go to cry in a corner. Bye.

Popular Post Mr_Wright95
: 54 Assassins Creed Black Flag (PS4) Gap: 5 Years 1 Week Fun 7/10 Difficulty 4.5/10 What a grind. Returning to this game after literal years, was surprisingly very enjoyable. Having been playing Origins and thoroughly enjoying it, I got an itch to tackle this game... Many hours later, here we are. Arguably the most "difficult" part of this platinum was getting a group of 4 together for the Lab Technician MP trophy, as well as achieving 100% of mission constraints, which wasnt "too" bad. This Platinum does however require A LOT of mindless grinding in solo "Multiplayer" BUT I tackled that whilst rewatching Game of Thrones which made this far less painful. Easily my Rarest Platinum and I am very proud to have this ?

Popular Post DamagingRob
#368- Lili: Child of Geos Master Botanist Earn All Other Trophies Well, that took less time than I thought. Lol. I didn't even follow a guide or anything. Just looked at the trophy guide on pst, figured out what I needed to do, and played from start to finish. Nothing is missable, so that's nice. I found it to be enjoyable, but it's a very chill game. You never have to worry about dying, and nothing is really challenging. But it looks nice, and was fun while it lasted. ...Until I got to the breaking vases part. That was just dumb, and added nothing to the experience. Just glad I didn't have to break 1,000 of them (each one counts as two, for some odd reason). But you basically just walk around and explore this pretty island. You'll have to fight enemies and take their flowers, too. But this isn't difficult, and even getting 3 stars on the fights is pretty easy. Just have to avoid making incorrect button presses during the quicktime events, and/or use the exploit to get more white flowers. Think both of these contribute to a higher score. There are higher difficulties, but I don't know how much these change things. So yeah, pretty fun little game, in my opinion. And I liked the Seven reference. Spoiler Platinum screenshot: Spoiler That Butterfly reminds me of that thing that follows Link around in one of those Zelda games. Popular Post GraniteSnake
My first experience with auto-popping trophies, as well as 'stacking' platinum's. #116/117: Sound Shapes (PS4 + PS3) Superb game. I enjoyed the campaign, especially the levels featuring music by Deadmau5. I had no interest in the beat school section, and just used a guide for those. As for Death mode... it actually wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. I managed to complete the first 10 levels within 2 hours, with Sneak n' Deke being the level that I struggled with the most out of those. The remaining half of the levels were a lot more difficult and way more luck based. Mechanica was first up, and it really was a pain in the hole. There were 2 spots where the node could appear, both near the saw-blades, and at these spots I kept on messing up. Aquatica and Extaraterrestria were up next, and they went by relatively fast. The next 4 levels, all ending with 'noids', were a nightmare to get through. In my opinion, Galaxanoids was by far the most frustrating level. It took me an hour straight before the game finally decided to allow me to finish it in the allotted time. At the beginning the level was tough, but by the end it was just frustrating as completing it in time all depended on where the nodes showed up next. The final three levels were pretty easy in comparison, which was nice. To complete the majority of these levels, it was mostly a matter of persistence. You grow accustomed to every level over time, and eventually you just get lucky with where the nodes show up. I left it until the last minute, but I was able to auto-pop the PS3 list as well! #118/119: Nubla/The World of Nubla Needed something light to relax me after those Death mode levels, and this game managed to do just that. Two seperate lists, but they are the exact same game. The only difference is that The World of Nubla has a demo for Nubla 2 as far as I know. Content wise, this game really doesn't provide much. Mild platforming and simplistic 'puzzles', accompanied by a soothing soundtrack and nice visuals. The game can be completed in roughly 30-45 minutes, so it was over quick. If your looking to unwind and earn an effortless platinum before bed, then this is the perfect game for you. Now, it's time for me to go back to Crash Bandicoot: Warped and complete the trilogy!

Popular Post Undead Wolf
#235 - Resident Evil 2 Raccoon City Native Obtain all trophies. What an incredible game! I had a blast from start to finish - Capcom really outdid themselves with this one. I'll be honest, I was sceptical when of this game when it was revealed to be more of a reimagining than a remake along with the third person camera, but RE2 is one of my favourite PS1 games, so I always held out hope it would be good. My expectations were well and truly shattered, that's for sure. Leagues better than any of the more recent RE titles (more specifically RE7 and Revelations 2). They really nailed the gameplay in this one. It strikes the perfect balance between action and horror, much more so than the other third person RE games in my opinion. I did my first playthrough on Hardcore difficulty and it was glorious - I had just about enough ammo and healing items to survive which is what any good survival horror game should strive to do. Not only does the game look gorgeous, but it plays amazing too with it's 60fps. ? I really love what they did with the characters in this game - they felt a lot more realistic than they did in the original, and as a result, I could sympathise with them even more. I'll always love the original version of this game, but I thought this was an excellent reimagining, absolutely worthy of being played too. I may have the platinum now, but I'll definitely be coming back to do the odd playthrough every now and then.
Popular Post Justin__Harris
Platinum #60: Resident Evil Zero (PS4) Game Score: 7/10 Platinum Difficulty: 5/10 I never owned a GameCube back in the day so this was my first go around with Resident Evil Zero. It's an enjoyable game as far as the gameplay goes. Just like the Resident Evil remake, it's gorgeous looking and uses the old style of play -- although I must admit I had to 86 the tank controls. I liked the picking up and dropping items option a bit more than uses the customary item box, although I must admit that in my first playthrough I wish I had a better understanding of the layout to save me from an shit-ton of backtracking. I did like the partner system, although at times it was just very forced with certain things. Even though I enjoyed the gameplay itself, I gotta say that story-wise, this has got to be one of the worst Resident Evil narratives and such wasted potential. Rebecca was never really a favorite character of mine, but it did make sense to have the game focus on her since she's the only one from Bravo Team that makes it out alive. The idea of having a game focus on Bravo Team and what they experienced before the Mansion Incident was an exciting prospect. Don't get me wrong, Resident Evil is convoluted as hell, but what the hell were they thinking with this story. And I'm really glad they tossed in Billy, who's basically just another Carlos from Resident Evil 3: Nemesis. Capcom clearly liked his character a lot, which is why he made more appearances and is mentioned later on in the franchise... Oh wait, no he's not. The main antagonist sucks too and really having Rebecca experience all this shit before the Mansion Incident makes you wonder why she's not more fucking useful to help her fellow S.T.A.R.S. teammates in the original game. The story should have honestly just been about Rebecca and had her team up with various members of Bravo Team leading up to the events, instead of this dumb ass 'help the innocent convict that's been wrongfully accused' nonsense. But I digress. It's a good game, but definitely the red-headed stepchild of the main series. Platinum isn't super hard, but it was very tedious at times because of how many playthroughs you're subjected to - typical RE fashion. Anyway, now that this is out of the way, I probably should buy the Resident Evil 2 remake. I'm hearing nothing but positive things, so that'll be cool to take on a highly anticipated re-imagining of a game definitely in my Top 10 of All-Fucking-Time! Popular Post monkeydluffy512
#299 We Always Had Faith in You Far Cry 5 Not sure what to say about this game. As far as Far Cry games go this one hits all the marks and does it pretty decently. The story is okay, the game-play is fun, and I enjoyed playing it. For some reason I just wish there was more to it. They have a solid formula for Far Cry games but Ubisoft hasn't done much to build upon that other than a few tweaks here and there and a new multiplayer mode. Here's hoping the new weapons and features shown in New Dawn will add some much needed spice to the formula. Till then I'm off to work on Platinum #300
