Popular Post Kuro-Okami
#54 - Thumper Enjoyment: 7/10 Difficulty: 6/10 This was probably the hardest game to rate cause on the one side it has really great mechanics and on the other side the game was very anoying sometimes. The game is really easy to learn but harder to master. There aren't too mamy mechanics but getting the timing right to perform perfect cornering and other moves require some skill. Even after a break over some months i was able to continue were i left without too much trouble. And i was pretty much addicted right away again. After completing 1 stage i always wanted to go further. In the beginning i wasn't able to play this game for too long though. After a while i always felt dizzy and got a real bad headache which led me to drop it first. But after buying a new tv it felt better. I still could only finish one level a day but that was much better than 1 stage a day. The problem i had was the movement of the stages. Having obstacles arrive in the far corner was ok but having the front move at the same time wasn't too easy. The game itself sometimes didn't feel well balanced. Some of the beginning stages of a level were longer and even harder than stages that came much later. Obstacles came out of nowhere so most likely i couldn't react on time and i also missed some beats because the backround had a similar color. I also wasn't a huge fan of the bosses. Still. I would recommend to give this game a chance. There aren't too many similar games and even if i felt annoyed here and there it's still a solid game.

Popular Post starcrunch061
I don't usually put multiple plats in this thread, but they're so close to each other that I can't resist: #318: Fist of the North Star: Lost Paradise True Successor of Hokuto Shinken Obtained all trophies 80 solid hours of play, and I really only disliked about 5 of them (grinding in the casino). If there's a time where I will become sick of seeing the hokuto moves, I never hit it. A fun game with great battle, silly story, and a solid dose of itself all around. #319: Alone With You Space pioneer Unlock all trophies The game itself is mediocre, and not at all what the title would suggest. There is no "romance" in the game. There are cut-and-paste conversations with different images put on them, with the same choices throughout. The choices play no role in the actual outcome of the game. As a 3 hour game, it's mostly a waste of time, but it might be worth $.99, like Home (another game from the same developer, which was pretty much better all around). $9.99 is laughable for this crap. The platinum trophy, however, sends this tedium into overdrive. Without it, I might not have noticed just how lazy the game was. But having me play it 5(!) times really showed the cut-and-paste mentality. Stay far away from this crap.
Popular Post Boomshanks
( 47) Bioshock Infinite Platinum Columbia Enjoyment: 6/10 Difficulty: 5/10 I actually got this halfway through January, so the first plat of 2019 is in the pocket. I absolutely loved Bioshock 1 and 2, so I was very eager to play this when it came out. At first, I was sad that it didn’t take part in Rapture, but it was probably for the best since there is only so much you can do within a certain location. Columbia offers a nice change of scenery, especially since you get to see what it’s like before everything goes to shit. However, as with Rapture, my favorite moments are when the city is falling apart. They manage to tell such great stories with just the environments alone of a city on the brink of collapse. Awesome stuff, especially in the final stages of the game But contrary to the first 2 Bioshocks, in this game I had a hard time getting into the story. In the beginning it’s really cool and wrapped up in mystery, but around the middle of the game the pacing takes an absolute hit. I distinctly remember finally being very close to my goal only to fall out of an airship and having to start all over again. This just took the enjoyment out of it for me because it sometimes felt like you were just given errands for the hell of it and you weren’t progressing the story all that much. The story definitely picks up a few chapters later and doesn’t let go until the end, but I had to push myself through those middle chapters of the game. This is coupled with the fact that the side characters in this game just aren’t as memorable as those in Bioshock 1 and 2. There is no Sander Cohen here. Jeremiah Fink is just a businessman . There isn’t anything off about him that made the other characters so great. I actually had A LOT more fun with my second playthrough than with my first. I did my second playthrough on 1999 mode without purchasing anything from the Dollar Bill machines and it was a blast. It was quite difficult in a lot of parts, and you had to take the entire story really slowly. I just like the feeling of constantly being anxious and really not looking forward to a coming battle because of how difficult it’s going to be. Even with the awesome fully upgraded Murder of Crows. Only that stupid ghost boss was horrendous. I defeated it the first time by the skin of my teeth… and then I found out I had to fight it about three more times. Ugh In short, I didn’t really like my first playthrough with the game as I had a really hard time getting into the game and story. But I loved my second playthrough on the hardest difficulty. I don’t know what to think about that either.

Popular Post voodoo_eyes
#341 - Mafia 3 Really enjoyed this one. Tons of content and most of it is fun to do. Musci is great as always in this series and the voice-acting is some of the best ever. There are the odd bugs here and there, so it's definitely not perfect. Nevertheless I had a good time from start to finish, including the DLC stuff. Enjoyment: 8 Difficulty: 3.5

Popular Post GarciaFever
#185 Heavy Rain (PS4) I forgot to post this a few days ago, but I got busy with work. Anyways, it was nice to come back to this game and not have to worry much about getting the missable stuff. That Kamikaze trophy wasn't as much of a pain in the ass as when I first tried it back on the PS3 several years ago. Managed to get it on my 5th attempt. But something happened during my gameplay. I don't know how, but the game glitched out, and I managed to capture the funniest thing that I have ever seen. Popular Post GraniteSnake
#120: Crash Bandicoot: Warped And the trilogy is complete! It's kind of a shame that I've finished the trilogy playing my least favourite out of the three, but I'll try not to complain too much. I found it difficult to enjoy the vast majority of the vehicle based levels - it felt as if I was driving on ice with how bad the motorbike was to control in the road levels. Coco's water based levels were frustrating as well and lacked a brake button and finally the plane levels were just boring in my eyes. There was an abundance of these vehicle based levels scattered throughout, so you can understand why I didn't enjoy the game as much as the first two. In terms of difficulty, well, this is without doubt the easiest of the three. 90% of the gold relic times are extremely forgiving, and the majority of levels I was able to complete in two or three goes. High Time was the only level where platforming was an issue, and it took me about 30 minutes to compete. Road Crash was probably the most frustrating level overall, simply due to the layout of the track and the awful motorbike handling. Future Tense was actually my favourite level overall, and I can imagine getting the gold relic for it would've proved pretty difficult if there was a trophy to do so. I was kind of disappointed with the lack of any feeling of satisfaction after the platinum popped.. nevertheless I really enjoyed my time with the trilogy as a whole. Looking forward to CTR Nitro-Fueled!

Popular Post TheActualMeg4cy
#47 - Resident Evil 2 (PS4) 4th of 2019 "Raccoon City Native" "Obtain all trophies." I am so happy they finally did it. To start off - this game is just absolutely amazing. The detail in the graphical presentation of the entire location is just outstanding... you can tell the developers made damn sure to pay heavy respect to the original as much as possible and in some cases - did a very good re-imagining where they felt needed. Resident Evil 2 is clearly not the 1st game in the series but for me personally - Resident Evil 2 is what swept me into this living nightmare. From the inventory management to the holding onto the bullets for the right zombies - you won't ever feel safe in this game. The game is very smart in that you're rewarded for reversing ammo when possible and using it when required. Failure to reserve your rounds or health items can cost you plenty in the game as you progress on Standard or Hardcore (there is a new mode, assisted, which allows you to regain health). I personally remember getting near the end of Resident Evil 2 on Claire B as a child and just messing it up completely - having no ammo, no items to recover, dying over and over again. It was a complete screw-up as a child. It was rather nice to say this time round that I could complete it without struggling as much and even go on to platinum the game. I think my final number of runs clocked in around 8 (split down the middle, 4 on Leon and 4 on Claire). Thankfully - this shouldn't deter you too much. Runs can on average, with skill and eventual "off by heart" memory, take you about 2-3 hours at most or even less if you're extremely fast. Trophies aren't too rough in this game either. A few misc ones which won't cause the average player any trouble, with the possible exception of Hardcore Rookie (Leon Hardcore Completion) and Hardcore College Student (Claire Hardcore Completion) and finally - Grim Reaper. It is heavily advised that all players attempting the Hardcore Trophies obtain 1 S-rank completion prior to unlock the Infinite Ammo Pistol. I can't stress this enough - this unlock will make the run much easier to handle but still allows it to maintain the difficulty originally intended. Additionally - the final trophy mentioned there titled as Grim Reaper requires you to complete the mode with Hunk - the 4th Survivor. This is all rather nice and simple on paper but no - you're gonna be put to the test here. Your skill in running past, getting around, using the right items, reserving ammo and correctly moving at a reasonable pace will become quite evident in this potential final segment for you. I personally struggled with it for about 1 to 2 hours before leaving it and coming back to it the day after - to which it took more trial and error before finally completing it. You will definitely feel like a complete bad-ass once you open those "gates", so to speak. Difficulty - 6/10 (Hardcore without the Infinite SMG will test your ability in preserving ammo/items and "Grim Reaper" will require patience and lots of trial and error) Enjoyment - 9/10 (Resident Evil 2 didn't leave any sour tastes in my mouth. The developers did a fantastic job in the remake and the reviews/ratings/sales goes to show that remakes are worth it when they're done right.)
Popular Post voodoo_eyes
#342 - Syberia 3 Boy am I glad to be done with this crap. Visually this could've been a PS2 title. Performance-wise it also should've been on the PS2. It runs terribly, constantly lags, has bad voice-acting and a subpar story. The lip-sync is non-existent. Very disappointed with this one. Considering the first one was pretty good at the time, this one should never have been released. Enjoyment: 3 Difficulty: 2
Popular Post FOOTBALLNUT
#109 Beyond: Two Souls Remastered BEYOND: TWO SOULS™ MASTER Collected all trophies! Platinum on 22nd January 2019 (1 months, 3 weeks, 5 days) **********My Personal Gaming Enjoyment Experience********** Thanks to PlayStation Plus, I got another chance to play "Beyond: Two Souls" in Remastered on PlayStation 4 cause "Beyond: Two Souls" are my #67 platinum two years ago on PlayStation 3. Is this remastered a any better than PS3 version. Hmmm...and this is what I said two years ago: [] Beyond: Two Souls give me the feeling like I was watching a movie than playing a video game. At first I was quite confuse about the storytelling cause one moment I was playing the adult 'Ellen Page' next I was controlling a 9 or 10 years old girl. Credits to the developers in cleverly cutting up the chapters or should I said scenes into different part and pieces them together as I went from scene to scene all the way to the end. [] Well...fear not in remastered they add-on new mode call "New Remix" cause in this mode I can watch "Jodie" grow on each chapters in sequence without any question mark over my heads and it's great addition for the newcomer. Double thumb up to the developers for adding this helpful mode. [] This is my first choice & consequence genre so I didn't know what to expect from the gameplay but I did not have to worry at all as the controls was simple to pickup I just have enjoy the game and of course the story. Err...by the way I choose my difficulty in "I rarely or never play video game" so that's a breeze for me. [] I'm more veterans on this game now and roughly know what is gonna to happen next but I still choose to play the lowest difficulty. Anyway I did encounter some slight delay when I input the required action button while some I had to press a few times before they register however that is not serious enough to interrupt my gameplay. [] Another thing that need to mention and give credits to the developers Quantic Dream for this game is the soundtracks and the motions capture team also not to forgot those actors/actress cause the music is nicely connect to some scenes that really make me feel emotionally so was the face expression from our "Shero" and all the non playable characters. [] Honestly, I love and still been moved by the "Homeless" chapters even after multiple playthrough on both consoles. The best memorable moment for me was when "Jodi" help to delivery labor and carry the newborn baby over to her mother. It was such beautiful and lovely scene I'll never forget anytime soon. [] At first I thought about getting this masterpiece on PS4 but to my surprise the Asia Plus is FREE in March 2016. And so I had the chance to truly feel the characters every emotion like joys, sadness, lonely, betray, hopeless, determination and fears from first moments to the last. [] Thankfully I revisit the story again and stacked the trophy list of "Beyond: Two Souls". Overall, in my opinion there isn't much difference between PS3 and PS4 version except graphics image resolution and extra "New Remix" mode on PS4. Maybe, it just me cause I think PS3 version run smoothly than remastered on PS4. Popular Post SaiXeN-_-
#85 & 100% | Killzone: Shadow Fall Difficulty: 8/10 | 6/10 (Platinum) Enjoyment: 7.5/10 Estimated time to 100%: 80-100+ hours Hero Obtain all Killzone Shadow Fall trophies. So, Killzone, also known as GrindZone, a reason for a name? Well, that's quite simple. 'Cause It does not matter If It's co-op or multiplayer. All you have to do in this game is GRIND, GRIND and one more... GRIND!? But after all, I've really enjoyed the game I can't say otherwise. A narrative in the campaign was quite good, I was really surprised by the ending. But the campaign DLC trophy called Like a Boss is the main reason why the difficulty mark for 100% is 8/10. You have to complete a game on the hardest difficulty with no checkpoints and You also have only 3 lives to waste,? chapter 7&9 are the hardest ones in the whole game, I've almost lost my sanity thanks to chapter 9, I died about 5 times in the row in the last segment. I remember that I was about to give it up. But I gave it one more try. And somehow, I've managed to do that without panicking. For Elite - Luckily there is a workaround, Right when you die just press OPTIONS button a quit to the main menu, You're not gonna lose your lives, If done fast enough. Without this "glitch" I would mark this game as 9-10/10 difficulty. About DLCs, I have to say I really enjoyed the Intercept (co-op) mode. I was expecting it to be boring as hell, but I was wrong. Actually, I've found it quite entertaining. The main reason for that are people that I've been boosting wíth. So I would like to give a shout out to my mates: BlaizzerY, Daishi_89 & Deimos232. You were the best boosting partners I've ever played with.✌️ Platinum difficulty for this game is roughly 6/10. "Maybe one day people of Helghan will enjoy a peace"?
