Popular Post LucianaRosethorn
Platinum #3 Final Fantasy XIII: Lightning Returns Eternal LightProof of a true master who has excelled in all things and has collected all possible trophies. ~ I finally have all three games done in the XIII trilogy, actually all of them were earned in January. I'm really happy I got this one since when I first played it I could never beat it and now all three are done and my first three platinums. I'll be writing a guide for the game and I'll write in more detail here soon if you want to have a look. =)
Popular Post Ala-Arska
Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag (PS4) Prizes, Plunder, and Adventure! Win every trophy It's like looking for a drunken pirate in a haystack. This game should have been called Black Flag feat. Occasional Assassin's Creed Stuff All that pirating is a heck of a lot of fun though, so I didn't mind missing stealthy murdering that much. Sailing with your very own vessel in the open sea, with sea breeze blowing salty air through your golden locks, crew chanting...that's LIFE I lost countless of hours just attacking random ships, plundering desolate islands and watching sea creatures as I went by them. It's a very relaxing feeling that this game gives, now I just wanna lay down in some Bahamian beach and chug rum Story and main man Kenway are enjoyable, the only thing bothering me a bit is the passing of time seemingly without reason. For a more epic feel? And I see the devs are still clinging to that modern day/"something bigger" plot continuum. Well, I wish they'd just let it go already (have they? Hope so). The present day stuff is just a walking simulator with me hacking computers and trying to find my machine so I CAN PLAY THE ACTUAL GAME! It's boring and I can't make much sense of it anyway. Maybe that's because I'm playing this series with no order in mind whatsoever. This is how I roll, boyzzz. Multiplayer was frustrating and very confusing at first. Why can't I kill anyone? Why can EVERYONE kill me? What's the meaning of this? Or life?...It's rum. Grinding for level 55 was mind numbing, but with the help of music I plowed through that one with only a few mental scars. As for playing every mode and using every ability and ranged weapon....I made this with my own hands (since I'm old school and reasons): (I'm thirty-f**king-seven years old young, and THIS is what I do with my spare time?) I still have some DLC material (and a game session) to browse through, so I'm not done with Black Flag just yet. Overall AC: Black Flag is a superbly fun pirating adventure, with a pinch of enjoyable sneaking and killing. Worth getting for sure
Popular Post ERICVOLTAGE
#148. Played this out of nearly a daily recommendation from a friend. I thought it was good, nearly great. The undertones were enjoyable and the main quests were full of surprises. Only complaint was the combat and that it kind-of bored me; as the lore was much more interesting than the gameplay. #149. Shout-out to finally getting a physical copy. This is a wildly interesting game, with the game hinging on fantasy and mental stability. The caveat is that it feels like finishing the second act in a trilogy with no bookends. #150. Nearly identical in execution to Origins, with a slightly deeper dive into RPG territory. Ancient Greece's playground is a lot of fun, with a ton to do and explore, making that 70-80 hours go by in a flash. Accounting for everything; this is a great game, with a handful odd story-telling choices that kind of stick out along your own Odyssey.

Popular Post Omelette Paradise
#249 Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception One away from my 250th milestone and #249 goes to the "awkward relative" of the Uncharted family. Uncharted 3 tends to be looked upon unfavorably by many because it wasn't as good as Uncharted 2 and a large number of Naughty Dog's team working on making The Last of Us rather than this game. In my opinion it's extremely underrated. The action and set pieces are just as thrilling and well written as they were in the first two games plus Marlowe and Talbot as villains are far more grounded than the stereotypical megalomaniac warlord Lazarevic and they are just as memorable as he is. I did have a bit of an issue with the pacing of the story in places, in particular Chapters 12-15 which take place first in a boat graveyard and then a cruise ship. These four chapters are fine action-wise but in terms of the story they end up being a bit of a waste of time due to the revelation that comes at the end of Chapter 15. They most certainly feel like filler. Trophy-wise it's very similar to the first two games but the weapon related trophies are a little bit trickier this time whilst doing trophy cleanup because there are no weapon tweaks that allow you to choose the weapon you want to use. A little bit strange that this feature was removed when the first two games had it. Other than that though, it's all good and as stated above I feel this is an underrated entry in the series.

Popular Post Eramir
Platinum #33: InFamous Second Son This is why I love trophies. Beat the game on good about three years ago, and went back to it this week. Normally I wouldn’t play a game which I already beat, but I saw that the plat isn’t a choir, so I wanted to get it. Got back to the game and loved it again. ? I checked multiple times if I was playing on expert, it wasn’t very difficult! Next up: another game on my profile that is beaten but not completed. The Order or Titanfall comes to mind. Edited February 3, 2019 by Eramir
Popular Post PreLoki
N++ Platinum++ You are literally a ninja took a minute, but overall enjoyed this. Definitely not a game to plat on one go. I had to take some breaks every now an then after completing chunks of episodes on solo mode. Completing coop episodes can get very tricky, if you're doing it on your own with a second controller. Thankfully not every episode on coop mode is required for the plat though. If you're fan of challenging 2D platformers then check N++ out! ? Edited February 3, 2019 by PreLoki

Popular Post Sergen
Marvel's Spider-Man: Platinum #130 Difficulty: 2/10 Time Taken: 30-40 hours A good fun platinum to do while I didn't really have much motivation for trophies. This is the best Spider-Man game I've personally experienced, the graphics and combat are fantastic, the city is full of activities to pursue and all collectables are shown to you on the map. It never gets old to use the swinging mechanics on this game and mess around by using tricks in the air. I believe this is the most earned platinum trophy for the PS4 console, which I'm kind of surprised about, but I guess since the game holds your hand through most of it, people naturally get 90% of the trophies then think "why not?" when they see how close they are to the platinum. The game has plenty of things you need to do to platinum it and I will say that it is most definitely the longest platinum on PSN that has a rarity above 50%. Because you can work on the platinum and play on the easiest difficulty, nothing about the game is difficult, it takes a little bit of time to understand the combat and gadgets, but once you have, you will be annihilating enemies quickly. The only negative I can say about this game is the fact that street crimes are incredibly repetitive, they repeat the same crime multiple times in different locations and the dialogue that Spider-Man says after that crime is the same as he said the previous time you did that crime, I feel like this part of the game was the only part where they didn't put in their best effort. I almost always stopped to listen to J. Jonah Jameson's radio show, which often started playing after a mission, or after stopping a crime or doing other activities, he negatively criticises Spider-Man and it is kind of funny and a good touch for the game to have. This game does contain the most enjoyable collectables to pursue, which are the Backpacks. The Backpacks are shown to you on the map and you can press R3 to locate them when you are near them, they contain items that Peter Parker has and they work as Easter Eggs for Spider-Man, it was a smart way to implement Easter Eggs into the game. Other Easter Eggs to the Marvel Universe are in the landmarks for the game, because the Avengers tower is another location on this game, you need to take pictures of the landmarks for XP and trophies, but luckily the movement on this game is good enough to get your camera out quickly and take a picture without having to stop your movement. The game doesn't only require you to play as Spider-Man, you also play as Mary Jane and another character that I won't name for spoiler reasons, the other characters you play as are stealth only characters who get killed if they are spotted, these levels are kind of slow and out of place for this game, considering you were just beating up enemies as Spider-Man, then you suddenly switch to a slow stealth character. All of the DLC for this game is short and simple, which I like about DLC, but the most boring DLC is having to beat the game on Ultimate difficulty and New Game Plus, luckily you can combine both of those runs by choosing Ultimate difficulty on your New Game Plus file. The game was incredibly short when I was skipping every cutscene and because I was fully upgraded before playing Ultimate difficulty, I was able to beat the fights very quickly for the most part. Only a few of the fights with Demon enemies were annoying on Ultimate, but nothing took more than 4 tries to get through.

Popular Post Squirlruler
#57 Bloodborne -- Bloodborne Ahhhh Bloodborne. An instant classic. There isn't much I can say that hasn't already been said about this masterpiece. Such an incredible game. I found the game to strike the best balance of Difficulty and Fairness that I have seen. This was my first game into the Soulsborne world and I loved every second of it. Ok, maybe the Bloody Crow of Cainhurst can go pound sad. The note system was great! People got really creative with some funny ones. Co-op seemed more difficult to use than necessary. Once we figured it out, and BB actually decided to join us, it got better. The trophy list was great. A "Do all the things!" one, which is my preferred list type Enjoyment: 10/10 Difficulty : 8/10 Trophy List: 10/10 Good bye good hunter. May you find your worth in the waking world. Edited February 3, 2019 by Squirlruler
Popular Post madbuk
#301 - Kingdom Hearts III Here it is. The big conclusion to a saga that has been ongoing ever since the very first Kingdom Hearts game. I'd say it wrapped things up nicely, by the end of the game, and kept me interested in what was to come - but the pacing was horrible. Even worse than Kingdom Hearts 2, remarkably. Gameplay wise, it's better than the start of KH2 because you have essential moves like dodge roll right from the start which makes Sora so much more fun to control than he is for the first several hours of 2. The new situation commands gimmick... honestly I just kinda ignored it. The attractions especially take up a lot of time and are just really unnecessary. They're cool the first time you use them I guess but then they become a chore to use and I never activated them after the first few uses. The team situation commands are the same, and I ended up ignoring most of those as well - the only situation commands I even bothered with were transformations and grand magic tbh. Thundaza in particularly is a very valuable situation command to trigger. As far as the story goes, it is front loaded with non-stop Disney just like 2 was, except for even longer. Whereas the plot finally starts about 10 hours into 2, it starts about 20 hours into this. Unlike 2 you do get some slight sprinklings of plot in between the Disney worlds, but it's nothing substantial. This is a big disappointment, because I don't play KH for the Disney stuff. It just feels like filler to me. The worlds were also much, much longer than they were in 2 which probably contributes to the extra 10 hours of waiting for things to pick up. I'm not really a fan of just how large they made every area in this game, especially since you can't bring up your map for a full view and only get the tiny mini map in the corner. Some areas benefited from being larger than usual, like the town in Tangled land. It was lively and fun to explore. The barren forests elsewhere in the world? Not so much. Overall, I'm certainly satisfied with the game despite some of its minor flaws, since it was a lot of fun to play, but it's not my favourite KH game. I'm interested to see what's next for the franchise.
Popular Post Deluziion90
Platinum #179: Kingdom Hearts III KINGDOM HEARTS III Complete Master Unlock all other trophies. Fun: 7.5 Game Difficulty: Early 5/10 - Late game 2/10 - Playing on standard early as a KH noob was pretty tough. Later when getting Thunder aoe and a good keyblade the game was a faceroll Platinum Difficulty: 3/10. Rated overall because I got ultima blade pretty early for the rest of the trophies. I could destroy everything pretty easily. Overall time for platinum: In game time: 44 hours and 12 minutes. After playing KH1.5 Final Mix and checking out a ton of youtube video's to get ready for 3 I could only say I still got no damn clue what this game is about. I enjoyed every world and the graphics and gameplay were amazing. Late game was a bit of a long drag which got me pretty annoyed as I just couldn't keep up what was going on. Crazy enough the Gummi stuff wasn't too bad all thanks to a youtuber called: Primalliquid. He shows you how to build a very strong and efficient ship pretty early which helped immensely later on. If you plan on going for this platinum you should check him out! Overall a great game to enjoy

The costume I (we both) was using was definitely my favorite one. And I thought this ”paying respect” trophy would net me nice platinum trophy screenshot. But then I realized it might be too spoilery for the people who haven’t played & completed the game, so I was trying to move camera a bit. Your platinum trophy screenshot definitely looks much nicer than mine. Shows bit more scenery and half of the amazing asset of the Spider-Cop ??♂️ Great minds think a like huh? ? Popular Post TraumaticChain6
#50: Asterix & Obelix XXL 2 Difficulty: 4/10 Enjoyment: 8/10 Rarity: 40,41% I played this game back on the PS2 but never completed it. I really love the environments in this game and as a kid, and now :D, I always wanted to be there in LasVegum. The soundtrack is also decent, with some great tracks to keep you hyped for the action. The game has some annoying parts, like the second boss fight and some of the challenges, but is overall not to difficult and it's a short game. The biggest flaw is the repetition. Every area you come in, you'll need to fight a lot of Romans and after a while this gets very old. I started to skip some fights between travelling because I really didn't want to fight anymore. There are also some platform sections and vehicle sections to spice things a little bit up. You can upgrade both our Gaulish friends and unlock some really fun to use power ups during a magical potion moment. All in all I enjoyed my time with the game even if it's repetitive. I can see that a lot of people will be turned of by this game by the repetition, but I still recommend it just for the really cool enviroments and the many references to other games. But wait for a sale.
