Popular Post DarkSoleride
Platinum No: 109 Name: All Finished Game: LEGO Harry Potter Years 5-7 Platform: PS Vita Time Taken: 5 Years 1 Month PSNP / 21 hours in game Another LEGO game off my list in my mission to platinum all the non-glitchy LEGO games more or less this is my sixth LEGO game on PS Vita and overall i have obtained the platinum trophy. This was a free PS+ game from about 5 years ago which is when i started it back in university and i think i just got bored originally which is why i put it off for so long. The game is great it takes you through as the title says years 5 through to 7 each year has 5 chapters and three segments to that chapter, with the exception of Deathly Hallows which has been split in two parts as per the films. The gameplay formula remains more or less unchanged but this being one of the earlier games on the Vita its pretty basic, the nice addition of the Duelling club was fun for maybe the first 15 characters but there are numerous categories and probably about 50 characters or so to go through and beat plus the ones you have to replay to get certain trophies. The charm of the Harry Potter franchise shines through fairly well with its LEGO twist but overall if you have played LEGO games before you will go in and won't be disappointed, especially if you are a fan of the Harry Potter series.
Popular Post Nostalgy_Flow
#63: DooM 3 Difficulty: 5/10 What to say, one of the sagas, if not the most important, for the FPS genre. Besides the remastered DooM 3 and its two expansions, in the BFG Edition there are also the first two DooM, which despite being more than 20 years behind, are still very enjoyable. The 3 compared to the first two is much slower and claustrophobic. Narrow and dark spaces with monsters popping out every two steps, sometimes they make you scare hahaha. The game is okay, the only thing I've really hated was L3 (held down) to sprint, since you can and must run in all directions to escape the enemies attacks, it isn't really the best thing. Sometimes I had thumb pains lol. Platinum is doable, but so annoying for the slowness of all. You need to beat the first two DooM on Ultra-Violence difficulty (and luckily not on Nightmare, because that difficulty is just crazy), but since you can save the game everytime it's not so bad. Initially it was fun, but after a while I got bored though. At least the expansion of DooM II can be done even at the lowest difficulty, but it's very short anyway. In DooM 3 instead well, you have to complete Nightmare! And not just in the basic game, but also in the expansions. Same here, having the ability to always save makes this kinda easy, but it's really annoying because you need to save every second and the loading screens aren't really that fast. In addition, health in this difficulty is fixed at 25% (if you have more it falls down to 25% and then stops), so therefore almost everything oneshot kills you. With extreme patience, however, it's definitely doable. Thanks to AvengedByAnarchy, Celestial_Ashes and OnlyHardPlatinum for the online trophies!

Popular Post DEsIx_KaerO
#168-#169 - Drowning (PS4, Vita ) #170 - Heroes Trials ( PS4 ) #171 - Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown It certainly feels awesome platting this game Ace difficulty was not what i thought it would be, that is, being one missile shot = dead, 3 AA gun shots = dead. Maybe if you'd need ALL Medals, then yea, it could be 8/10, but you don't have to get them all. There were some missions, well, actually just one mission, that was pretty hard to S rank at first and that Mission is the 9th one, getting S rank without LACM/LAGM is a bit tricky, doable, but hard. After my first initial Play through on Hard with F-22A, afterwards on Ace it was SU-30SM all the time w/ QAAM, except for M9, and M14 in which i used Gripen and Su-34 respectively. So after all Campaign Runs, first thing i did was grind those 76.500 KM's, but it wasn't that bad, just some 45k+ km's flying around in circles, it took me 2 days to get it done. It was not so boring, because, i watched ( about time ) a pretty darn good speedrun of FF IX on AGDQ 2019.

Popular Post Viper
#150 Spyro the DragonGnasty's Demise So I never played these back on the PS1, so I figured this would be a good one for my 150th Platinum. Awesome game, a lot of fun...even if there were a lot of moments where the game was pissing me off because of little things just not working out right. Now most people were complaining about the flying levels...I had very minimal trouble with those...I don't think I had to restart one more than 4 times, in fact they were probably among the easiest levels for me. The parts that proved difficult for me, usually involved unorthodox platforming sections...such the Tree Tops levels and having to use multiple superchargers to get to the last dragon and egg thief, or the Haunted Towers, where you not only had to use a supercharger to maneuver your way into a "secret" area, but you were then timed on getting to the top of the area before a tin guard made it so that you couldn't pass the doorway...and if you failed you had to it all over again.Overall though, I had fun with it...I wish I didn't skip these when I was a kid. I think I'm going to stretch them out a bit though, not going to play 2 and 3 just yet...but they will be done before the year is up. Popular Post Alternatewarning
Kingdom Hearts Final Mix I'll admit, this game gives me a lot of nostalgia since it was the first game I ever played on a console. Plus, it's a series that I always really enjoyed, the story (now matter how mind-bending it gets), the characters, the gameplay and just the look of the games. I have a whole lot of keyblade, heartless, nobody and so on themed items and clothes, it's nuts. That all aside, though, I'm going to try to give this game a fair and only semi-biased review. Visuals/Music: As I mentioned above, I've always loved the look of Kingdom Hearts and I think it aged decently well. Not amazing but with the Disney/anime look to everything I think it comes off much better now than a lot of its contemporaries. I'm pretty easy to please with visuals so I think it looked fine, although on the bigger TV a few weird facial expressions did stand out. The music, as ever, is the real star of the show, though. While I still prefer the original music of the opening to the remix version, it's still so enthralling. I love how the music sets the tone and it's all just beautiful to listen too. 20/10 would buy the soundtrack. Gameplay/Trophies: Clunky gameplay continues to be clunky. I'll admit the game is a little awkward in spots and continues to be so. Trying to platform around with a camera that can get stuck and run into walls isn't great but it's also an issue that the game had to begin with. I still really enjoy the game but even I see its flaws. Aiming jumps can be a little bit trial and error and the Proud mode was not balanced well at all. It seemed to be Standard but you took 2x more damage. That is not a well-balanced difficulty level, that's just learning how not to get hit. This leads to my opinion on the trophies: overall I was fine. I disliked the Gummi ship but I understand the missions inclusion for trophies. That I really didn't like was having to play it three times and the Speedster trophy. Kingdom Hearts is a long story-driven game, why would it try to rush me to get everything done! I did use the "over 100 hours" trick since I really didn't want to rush and frustrate myself. Still overall one of my favorite games of all time and I am very proud to finally have it on my profile.
Popular Post zizimonster
#61 Crossing Souls As a huge fan of Stranger Things, Crossing Souls scratches my itch for having a "Stranger Things" game. From its grandeur soundtracks to its tragic story filled with love, courage, and friendship. However, it has some drawbacks on later chapters in its gameplay mechanics. The gameplay mechanics doesn't work well when you have to move from platform to platform quickly -- because it's mostly trials and errors until you figure it out. Nonetheless, you shouldn't stay away from the game because it is still quite a blast to play through. Popular Post Mr_Wright95
#56 Assassins Creed Origins (PS4) Earn Them All Fun 7/10 Difficulty 2/10 Jumping into this game I had only played AC2 and AC4 prior. This game was so much fun that it inspired me to go back and Platinum' AC4 Black flag, something I never thought I would do. This game is very well polished and I enjoyed the shift away from linear sequences. Overall it was a very simple and enjoyable Platinum and I am now hooked back into the AC Universe. The only tedious part of this platinum was the repetitive grind to complete all locations, completed that whilst rewatching Game of Thrones which made it much less tedious. This is a very good game that is graphically stunning. Next up on my backlog is God of War (PS4). Very Keen

I literally checked if there was new kingdom hearts news about it every day since they announced it lol. Well overall this game was pretty much everything I hoped it would be. The Disney world felt like they were the lengths of entire movies which was great. Can’t wait for the next game in the series after seeing the ending, epilogue, and secret ending. Popular Post GraniteSnake
#125: The Last Guardian This was probably the first game that I bought and played that was truly out of my comfort zone. I struggled big time with the games mechanics on my original run, and found even the easiest of puzzles difficult to figure out. Trico's unpredictable AI didn't help, and I eventually gave up after an hour or so. A few months passed before I decided to give it another go, and I'm glad I did because it ended up being my favourite PS4 game to date! The visuals were stunning, especially the final scene, and the soundtrack was spot on as well. As the game progressed, so too did my bond with Trico and the child, and by the end I felt a genuine emotional attachment to the two. It's been a long time since a game has managed to do that for me. The campaign is full of highs and lows, but the two never cease to give up and work as a unit to scale world surrounding them.. a phenomenal journey. That being said, this game had it's fair share of flaws. The camera angles at times were awful, especially when trying to scale Trico in narrow corridors. Trico's AI was downright infuriating at times, struggling to keep up with even the easiest of tasks. As far as trophies go, well the list does not do the game any justice at all. This game has it all... a speed run, a no death run, collectibles and multiple kill related requirements. Listening out for hints wasn't nearly as bad as I thought it would be, but it definitely wasn't a fun trophy to go after. Feeding Trico barrels was a pain at times, with some of them requiring a lot of effort to actually feed to Trico. The speed run/no death run I ended up combining as one, and it didn't go too bad at all. Regularly backing up my save was essential and make the trophy a lot less painful. In the end it took me four runs and by that time I had enough of the game. When approaching the milestone I wasn't really sure what game I'd pick, but I'm glad I chose this one. A very memorable experience and a difficult platinum to boot. It's been a while since I've had a properly satisfying platinum and man do they feel good ?

Popular Post TheFalseDeity
#51 - Far Cry Primal Apex Predator Obtain all the Trophies. A decent game but definitely liked 4 and 5 better. Combat is a bit repetitive by the end, no dub, and villains were meh. Short enough not to be too big a deal though and you get a pet panther more or less so what could go wrong? You can play on easy thus making the plat easy. Not much variety to the side missions which you have to do a good chunk of but not difficult whatsoever.

Popular Post sh4d0wzcs
#76 InFamous Second Son My very first PS4 game that came bungled with my original PS4, played through for the story years agao.. why did I not platinum this game so much sooner. Very enjoyable and playing on hard was fairly easy, and I had a blast playing as the villan for the first time in the InFamous series, I had that much fun I might just have to dust off my PS3 for the original 2. #77 InFamous First Light Honestly did'nt expect much from this but ended up having a ton of fun playing this, and tbh felt the neon powers felt soooook mucn better than in Second Son. Arena challanges were pretty fun too, got pretty insane from round 30 onwards and my highest was round 63 in the first area, also went for the 500k score first time to minimize grind and wasn't so bad.

Popular Post Katt
AWACS Long Caster « Good work Trigger, return to base. » SKIES UNKNOWN Obtained all Trophies. Such a good game, such a good story (except the ending), NOW WITH 99% MORE CURSE WORDS! such good music, battle with Mister X top tier, god, I remember when I saw the announcement in the E3 2015, I felt the joy of destroying 100 SOLGs at the same time. Nice surprise at the ending of the game with a familiar face. Now turn the MP into Ace Combat Infinity and we are good, I'm tired of dogfighting, I NEED to destroy the Stonehenge, I NEED to destroy the Excalibur, I REALLY NEED to destroy the SOLG. ______________________________________________________ Oh yeah, this one is double. Heroine Achieve all possible trophies. GOD this RPG is so damn good! The music is UBER TIER, I cannot comprehend how the guys behind the soundtrack aren't working in bigger projects. Lauren's concert cinematic is by far the best one in the game and the battle music is so catchy! And the best part: double platinum! You will see another post in the future. Popular Post snakebit10
#268 Trophy 14,000 Father and Son I really had high hopes for the latest entry in the God of War franchise. It did not disappoint. I'll admit, It took me a little to get use to it being it is different from the other games. It also surprised me that the story was more fleshed out and hearing Kratos talk much more than in previous entries. The combat was sluggish at first for me but once you get to a certain point it starts to feel more like God of War. Definitely like the direction they have took with it. only think that almost could ruin it is the Queen Valkyrie fight. For someone who is not a main story boss she really was tough. Playing on easy still took me 20 plus tries. I read a lot of the horror stories of people not being able to beat her. I am very satisfied with this platinum.
