Popular Post Beyondthegrave07
#76 - Astro Bot: Rescue Mission Difficulty: 3.5/10 Fun: 8.5/10 Recommend?: Yes, if you have VR, it's a must! This game reminds me a lot of the 3D Super Mario Games such as Super Mario 64. You essentially collect bots (instead of Stars) and can't continue to the next boss unless you have enough Bots. Granted, you have to actually play all the levels to get to the boss, but the fundamental concept is the same as stars. The level design is very well done and there are plenty of checkpoints in the level, so it allows you to take some chances on the platforming. The only difficult part for me was the constant change in perception which made it difficult for me to tell if I was jumping on a platform or if I was going to miss it. However, the only thing that makes this an 18% platinum instead of 55% is the challenge levels. For a cutesie little game, I was expecting these to be easy, but some of them are really challenging and allow for little margin of error. It gets a little frustrating at times, but it's nothing for anyone who was able to do Crash Bandicoot time trials. If anyone who reads this has a VR, but not this game. Pick it up. Even at 30-$40, it's still worth it IMO.

Popular Post Jesaya815
#397 We Happy Few We've Come To The End Of Our Time Unlock all other We Happy Few trophies I'm one of those happy few who platted this beautiful game, though It probably won't be an ultra rare platinum forever. Hopefully more people are going to play We Happy Few and enjoy it just as much as I have. It is not a hard game at all if you just take your time and follow a collectibles guide while doing so. As far as any bugs or glitches are concerned, the only ones I encountered were a door not opening (during a certain story mission) and suddenly having no audio during my playthrough with Sally. Reloading the save file or simply fast traveling to another area fixed it. Other than that, just some minor stuff, like NPCs getting stuck here and there. Gameplay wise, it reminded me a lot of one of my favorite game series, Dishonored. Sadly, the stealth mechanics aren't as good as in Dishonored. Most of the time enemies become angry pretty quickly and since you can't fight them with heavy weapons during a pacifist run, you need to have a huge amount of healing items. Some skills apparently should make you stronger and healthier, but it never felt that way. Of course, running away is always an option, although it can be frustrating to constantly being chased by multiple people and especially Ollie is much slower than Sally or Arthur. Every character has its own strengths and weaknesses, so that it doesn't get too repetitive. Nothing out of the ordinary, yet different nonetheless. The story itself is both funny and sad at the same time, but I don't want to spoil anything. All of these aspects combined made it a unique experience for me and I highly recommend this game to everyone. Popular Post Phoenix_argentea
Time to update my huge platinum list. Nos. 101 & 102! Tokyo Xanadu eX+ The legend of the X.R.C. I started the first run on calamity difficulty (the hardest)… And it was quite challenging. The first chapters were hard, since I had to practice the commands and the bosses had a lot of HPs. 3rd and 4th chapters were not so hard, but the boss of the 5th… The mist witch was the hardest! In the end I spent more than 20 minutes dodging, shooting and charging the X-drive with Asuka. ?Oh, right, and the final boss in the Afterlife was insane, nothing more: someone who kills everyone with one hit is not fun, so you have to abuse the X-drive and charging it with elixirs. No, it’s the only boss I don’t like. And the NG+ was boring. I mean, after you clear the game with the hardest difficulty and trash equipment, there is nothing else to challenge. So, speedrun with infinity mode (+ 60 levels to every monster) + normal difficulty. ? The combat system is very good and it’s quite similar to the Ys series, and you can customize your weapon with different orbs (and surely the most useful are Mirage and Chaos Mirage due to the invincibilità extension of the dodging ability). I like wandering around the town and its streets, talk with people and visit the shops (especially the video games shop where there are the advertisements of other Falcom games, like Ys VIII and Trails of Cold Steel. Something like this: this is brilliant! My favourite characters? Xion Sora (and Yuuki). No, it’s not related to Kingdom Hearts. Simply she’s a fast attacker, and for the same reason I always avoided Shio (except the dungeons with the locked characters), because he’s too slow. And I hope for a sequel, but probably in the meanwhile I’ll play again the Vita version. ? Nights of Azure Nights of Azure (the same title of the game. Yeah! ) I really liked the characters, their interactions and the funny cutscenes (Lilysse with her mortal cupcakes that no one wants to eat, the “pervert” professor Alucard who is always stalking Arnice [the character you control] in order to make her his research assistant, the pirate merchant Lloyd who is always quarrelling with the professor, a silly black cat that makes you mad, a strange phone which always comes out from nowhere in the middle of a dungeon... Seriously, I hate that phone!). The story is simple but good: Arnice’s friend (Lilysse) is a Saint which should be sacrificed in order to stop the Nightlord. So you can imagine Arnice’s dilemma: you have to protect your friend in order to sacrifice her on the Blue Altar, so in this way you can save the world from the eternal night but you’ll lose your friend… Don’t worry, Arnice says “ Who cares of the world!” “There is no need to sacrifice more lives! I’ll save Lilysse (and the world)”, and she saves both, of course. ? The combat system is a hack ‘n’ slash where you can summon four Servans, which can be healers, supporters or fighters (or useless cats that digs up the ground… But you need these cats in order to acquire all the items, so grab a shovel and start digging for the item collection! ?). The only grinding trophy is related to the 300 sidequests, so you’ll end up watching the 5 sidequest available each time and studying which one are in the same area in order to clear them as soon as possible. ? Surely I’ll play also the second entry in the future.
Popular Post PooPooBlast
#119 Uncharted the Lost Legacy First of all let me say that platinum image looks kick-ass! This is probably my second favourite uncharted after the second one. Chloe and Nadine hold up really well on their own and I enjoyed learning a little more about them. Asav as a villain was your regular uncharted villain but he wasn't bad per se or anything. It just feels like at this point that those villains are the reincarnations of each other There was also great emphasis on puzzles especially in chapter 4 which was the highlight of this game imo and I was sold immediately. That and the last chapter as well! Game length, we're looking at about 15 hrs or even a little less if you go for one playthrough and a half. I just chose to do 2.5 so I can enjoy the story first (and also to be able to use the bonus weapons on crushing ;p ) Lots of fun to be had and with that I have 5 uncharted plats!
Popular Post Carol
#149 Spyro 3: Year of the Dragon Party like it's 2024 Win all trophies in Spyro 3 With this platinum, I finish this great trilogy of games. I had never played these games before, so I feel thankful that this revival happened. Otherwise, I would, probably, never have this wonderful experience. Spyro conquered a place in my heart. Overall, this third game felt more uninspired and blander than the other two games, but it was still a decent and enjoyable experience. It's the easiest of the three and the platinum can be done quite fast, since the 100% isn't needed. My favourite game was, definitely, the second one, although I greatly enjoyed the first one too, since it can be quite challenging at times and I had fun completing those harder tasks. In conclusion, what can I say? I think I found the perfect games to give to my future children! These games are lovely!

Popular Post RedRodriguez87
#201: The boss of the city So I've been wanting to play this for a while. I finally did, and.... I really wanted to like it more than I did. Don't get me wrong, it isn't a bad game per-say, it just needed more to it. The concept is that Timothy (you) is living in a black and white world that's being invaded by aliens, so go around and gun them down. And that's it. The controls are fine, the artstyle is very stylized and fitting with the noir atmosphere, the combat is... passable. But, as soon as it starts, its over. If you like semi-easy plats, than there ya go, but it just felt so lacking even for what it had. So before I even started, I noticed something really odd with PSNProfiles image for the games' background. After syncing my trophies, I knew for sure something was off. Take a look at it. This looks NOTHING like the actual game. What is it even? So I did some digging, and surprise surprise, turns out its another indie kickstarter game with an unfortunate history. Here is a link from what it was originally pitched to be. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=650546831 So, alright, I know thing change when Kickstarters don't work out, but, it seems like we didn't even get a fraction of what was promised. There is NO story, a super small cast of NPCs, barely a handful of weapons, no fixed camera levels, which they instead swapped out for a almost completely barren mini open-world; it really feels like that had to throw out everything they WANTED to do and start from the ground up from some corporate mandated template and finish within a small timeframe. Heck, there isn't even a sense of humor about itself; the closest thing to an actual joke is that the godfather character is called The Grandfather. Like, what kind of dumb joke is that? Still, with this added knowledge though, its hard to come down much on this game. I hate it when a vision never comes together, because it just makes the final product a bit tragic as a result. Heck, even with the games literal one sentence ending, I can at least give it credit that it ends with SOME sense of closure. That's more than can be said about The Girl and The Robot, another kickstarter game that strung me along and sucker-punched me hard, and the more I read up on it, the more irritated I get, as it's looking more and more to be a case of blatant false-advertising...... Popular Post DarkSoleride
Platinum 110: One True King Game: Ni No Kuni II Date Achieved: 16/02/2019 Time (Ingame) 85hrs I am very happy overall with this game and the journey to the platinum trophy. Set in the Ni No Kuni universe it is however completely its own story with references brought up from the first game are almost next to none. You play as Evan a boy king robbed of his land and needs to create a new kingdom for himself but needs to convince other people to come join him and help build his kingdom to be the best in the land. The game is still a solid action RPG which changed from the slightly turn-based system of the first one but i think it suits Ni No Kuni better in my opinion the game flows much better this way. You have an array of various abilities for each character to use and experiment with in different battle scenarios, which is actually really fun because you can feel pretty overpowered with them if you have levelled up correctly in the sense of over-levelled. The Kingdom management or building is nice and fits well with the story so you won't feel its just tacked on for the sake of switching up the gameplay and the research actually helps strengthen your forces and it really shows when you are doing the Dreamer Mazes. Which are these really long dungeons where you have to survive each floor containing various enemies which can be high level. Getting through them takes between 1-2 hours depending on how you go about it running through takes about 40 mins skipping everything but if you use it as an opportunity to level up each Dreamer Maze can take about 1hr and 30 mins. There is 10 to complete for a trophy the last you need to be about level 80-ish. Trophy-wise there is nothing too hard the most annoying trophy i personally found was "God of War" trophy because asides from a few side missions where Skirmishes feel relevant after you are done with these side missions the Skirmish just drags on for those 50 to complete for the trophy. It is a feature just tacked on for the sake of gameplay and a horrible one too. I took my time with this game because i played it during other games since it was just fun to play on and off. Overall a great experience and would recommend it to anybody. Enjoyment 8/10 Difficulty 2/10

Popular Post Desmuria
#151 - 1979 Revolution: Black Friday True revolutionary Unlock all trophies Enjoyment: 6/10 Difficulty: 1/10 I picked this up in a sale and finally got around to playing it. It plays like a Telltale game with elements of Life is Strange. You have to make dialogue choices, take photographs, investigate documents and collect tapes. The only issue I had with it is that it's BORING. Gaming and politics do not mix and this game proves it. The trophies are mega glitched. Some popped when I hadn't even collected everything required for the trophy to pop in the first place. It's a meh game. Only buy it in a sale, it's not worth full price. #152 - Collar×Malice Collar×Malice You earned all trophies. Enjoyment: 7/10 Difficulty: 2/10 Another decent VN that I picked up in a recent sale. The characters were nicely drawn and designed and the story was interesting. There's a little "mini-game" you have to play as you go through the story, which is super easy to do. You have to press the button when two red circles cross-over each other. Super simple. I preferred this to some VN's I've played, but it's not up there with some of my favourites. #153 - Bad Apple Wars How Did You Like Them Apples? Obtain every trophy. Enjoyment: 6/10 Difficulty: 2/10 Yet another VN and I didn't like this one as much. The character designs were weird and the story didn't grip me as much as I would've liked. There are "touch" scenes where you have to press hot spots on the screen. Some of them are weirdly specific, so you should use a guide to help you with them. If you like the weird VN's, this is for you. Sadly, it wasn't for me. #154 & #155 - Mixups by POWGI Mixed Feelings Collect all the trophies Enjoyment: 7/10 Difficulty: 1/10 Another offering from POWGI and this one was fun! I'm super grateful that you don't have to do all the categories, only specific ones to earn the trophies. I think I preferred One Word over Mixups, but it's not as tedious as Word Search. I appreciate that these games are bundled in the store for PS4 and PS Vita users. I wish more games would do this. Popular Post Phoenix_argentea
Platinum trophies Nos. 103 & 104! Yomawari: Night Alone The Night Alone Finally I bought a PS Vita (yes, I know, I joined terribly late the PS Vita club...) and this is one of first game I wanted to play (together with other RPG...?). This is a survival horror where you are a little girl wandering in a night town full of demons and horrors, which are behind every corner. And you have to run away and hide before they reach you… And some monsters are quite disturbing, like the giant spiders with the shaking faces ?️ I think some monsters are similar to the ones that I found in a manga called Kuro Somato. I really enjoyed the sequel on the PS4, Yomawari: Midnight Shadows, so i wanted to know the story of the first game. And it’s good, but the only negative issue is due to the lenght, because it’s too short (8-10 hours for the main story are more than enough, and there is a stupid trophy about playing for 50 hours!). I really like this graphics and wandering in the town, looking for the collectibles (except for the ones RNG-based. One of them require a cat which should turn into a giant cat head that follows and kills you. I found it the first time I entered in this area… And he killed me! I had no idea there was a collectible, so I avoided that area… Until I read there was a collectible. And, of corse, the cat didn’t turn into a monster, so I had to teleport and re-enter in the area for 30 minutes). And I got stuck in the factory chapter, because I missed the rusty key and I had already activated the checkpoint at the end of the area, so I had to go back to the beginning and try to avoid Mr. Yomawari (a giant demon that runs straight against you) and all the following shadows in a narrow corridor, just for a freaking key! If you like the survivor horror give it a look. This is a good starting point, but Midnight Shadows is a great improvement. And I hope for more games about this series. ? And here there is my first Vita platinum! Rayman Origins (PS Vita) Sweet dreams! Rayman Origins was my 2nd game on the PS3, and of course, like all the Kingdom Hearts games on this console, it has no timestamps (but now I’ve another version with the timestamps! ). And I prefer Origin instead of Legends, not only for the online trophies (missing in the first game!) but also for the worlds, because I think it’s a very good remake of the game on the PS1 (my first Playstation game. I’m still waiting for a porting of the PS1 version…). You can see the evolution of the worlds through the years: Jibberish Jungle/Dream Forest: there are the same enemies which are now older. And luckily Rayman can swim (in the first game he died every time you touched the water). Mosquito and Betilla are back too! Desert of Dijiridoos/Band Land: well, nothing to say about this world. There are no clouds with eyes that shoot lightnings (I hated them so much in the fist game...?); Gourmand Land/Candy Castle: this was the final world of the PS1 Rayman (but it was only a medallion with four levels. Too bad!); Sea of Serendipity: my favourite world in Origins ?. Maybe this one could be an evolution of the Skops Caves, due to the underwater caves and the levels in the dark. (I see analogies everywhere…); Mystical Pique / Blue Mountains: and this one was my favorite world in the PS1 game, and there are the same enemies: the statues throwing the lava ball! Unfortunately there is no Picture City (which I’ve always called the “School World”), but you can see Space Mama at the end of each level in the photograph panel! And there is also the Teen which acts like Mr. Dark, the most coward villain of the first game because at the end of the first game he send against Rayman a replica which followed his same movements (like Madeline and Badeline in Celeste), then he stole his fist power, and, at the end, he escaped and used all the previous bosses mixed together. As a child, I’ve always seen these bosses with horror, especially the first one made by Mr. Stone and Skops. It always scared me! ? Take a look: Isn’t it some kind of Frankenstein’s creature? The relics added to the Vita version were a nice feature, because you have to look everywhere on the screen for these shaking things! And for some of them I touched every single pixel of the screen because I couldn't see them... Edited February 17, 2019 by Phoenix_argentea I messed up the bulleted list. My apologies!
Popular Post DoctorGameGeek
The main ending trophy was my last one. I had fun reliving this game (in some aspects), but I'm ready to move on to the next one. It was fun reliving this title. I think the plot of FF12 stands out among its predecessors. Characters are sufficiently developed to a point of caring, especially Ashe. The gambit system is still a YMMV issue. It was fun to customize game play styles, but there are a number of questionable spells and technics which hardly proved useful. To get the platinum, you need a guide; low chance spawns and hardly evident ways to get the rare hunts will definitely irk some folks. It's a toss-up between Rainbow Skies and Dragon's Crown Pro. Any input from you all? Edited February 24, 2019 by DoctorGameGeek
Popular Post madbuk
#302 - Assassin's Creed Rogue Remastered Arguably one of my least favourite AC games, I have finally finished this off (and with it, the last available AC trophies until Odyssey gets some updates.) I'm just not really a fan of the ship. At all. In this, 3, 4, Origins, or Odyssey. It's so slow and cumbersome and turning takes forever (even at minimum speed) so lining up shots on a moving target is more hassle than it really should be at times. It just isn't fun to me and I longed to be back on land whenever I had to do things in the ship. As far as the on-land stuff goes, it's just as fun as ever. While I did say at the start this was arguably one of my least favourite AC games, something possessed me while playing this to go and get 100% sync in the game, All chests, all cave paintings, all shanties, etc., no exploits for legendary ships... Why? It wasn't needed for plat and didn't benefit me in any tangible way... but I was just addicted to clearing up the objectives for every area on the map. Surely the game can't be that bad if it kept my attention for that long past the bare minimum for platinum. I think that's just a testament to AC in general really - one of the worst is still a great game. The only AC game I'd actually consider to be outright bad is Origins. The story is quite interesting, seeing Shay's transformation from one side to the other and the changes in his relationships as a result. Like most post-AC3 games, this didnt really do anything to progress the overarcing plot, and as we all know now, that eventually got finished up in an underwhelming comic of all things, so who really cares? I'm still disappointed we never got to see this modern day arc fully play out in the games themselves. Overall, I enjoyed my time with this even if the awful ship did hold it back. I was hoping I'd get this game done either 1) In time for Steins;Gate Elite, which releases on Tuesday, or failing that 2) before the AC3 remaster next month. I'm glad I managed to get it done in time for S;G, as I would've no doubt completely dropped this to play that instead. Can't wait to play 3 and Liberation again next month, Odyssey's season pass has been great value. Edited February 18, 2019 by madbuk
Popular Post Deluziion90
Platinum 181: Far Cry: New Dawn Conqueror Earn all Trophies. Fun: 8/10 Game Difficulty: <5 hours 4/10 - after some upgrades 2/10 if not easier.. Platinum Difficulty: Very easy platinum. This is my 4th Far cry and the most easy of them all In game time for platinum: ~18 hours Lovely game as a followup for Far Cry 5 but this should have been a big paid DLC and maybe standalone in the future. The game was no doubt very fun but the story was very lacking. The twins were a very 'meh I dont really care' type of character. However.... Spoilers ahead: Spoiler Seeing the father alive was amazing and he carried the not really interesting story for me. I didn't give a damn about those twins but was very interested in what would happen with the father. Overall the game is fun and a lovely time killer. Sometimes games don't have to be too serious when it comes to story for me (like RDR2/Yakuza games) and for anyone wondering the pink theme isn't too bad It didn't bother me as much as I thought it would.
