Popular Post starcrunch061
Plat #322: God of War (PS4) Father and Son Obtain all other trophies All in all, a wild ride worth its accolades. God of War packs a great, emotional journey into a fun action/exploration game. Its vices exist, but are easily outshone by its virtues. Christopher Judge sounds great as Kratos, and the voice work in general was top-notch (even Balder, although his characterization left a bit to be desired). It is truly remarkable that a game about Norse gods, that completely eschews Odin, Thor, and Loki could be so exciting. Spoiler (And yes, I know the latter two play a crucial role in the ending, but it's only a few minutes, tops, out of a 30+ hour game) I really look forward to a sequel.
Popular Post Squirlruler
#59 Rainbow Skies - Rainbow Skies Winner Team This is the sequel to Rainbow Moon. They did a great job with this. The story was better but still nothing ground breaking, more to just to get you to continue through the world. They added an airship which was nice. They added several new things such as fishing, buried chests and monster breeding. Fishing was trash and the worst thing about the game. Felt like almost nothing was able to be caught until you have leveled it a ton. Saving grace with it, is experience is based off actions not successful catches, so even though you can't catch anything, you are still leveling up. They added Battle Ranks which you could increase or decrease the difficulty (and rewards) throughout the game. This is done in game and was a nice feature. There were a few quests that were throw backs to Moon (interacting with Namoris and Damion/etc). I thought they were great touches. One big change was level difference of higher level monsters. I was able to defeat small groups of monsters that would be ~650 while I was only ~150. I am sure that wouldn't be the case at higher Battle Ranks, but it made it easier to get the plat being able to kill just about anything in front of necessary items. Enjoyment: 8/10 Difficulty : 2/10 Fishing: 0/10
Popular Post Kishnabe
Platinum #263: Skylight Freerange (Vita) Would not have been able to platinum this without @Dorroile guide. +ve: Ability to save anywhere at anytime (bar when in active combat). Helped cheese through enemies, save after a few just in case anything happens. Fast Loading times (apart from the initial boot up). Interesting Skill Trees (Easy to get an OP build, only one quest caused grief). Very doable in one play-through at Impossible Difficulty. I recommend 2./ Multiple Endings and Branching Paths (They will always lead to splitting specific members away. Pick the right one to keep your faves). -ve: Wish there was a skip cut scene button and/or the ability to speed through dialogue. Lightning can be blinding. Dungeons walls are one color (there was 1-2 times I could not see where I was going). Most dungeons follow the save room build, eventually easy to get my way around avoiding enemies. Dialogue is hit or miss. Some of which are cringe worthy. Especially the Quirky Hayley. Almost had to do another playthough, due to Golden opportunity quest. Started straight away on Impossible, regretted at this moment. 30+ times, my main character Dominic got snipped down in the first 5 seconds (entering with 1 HP). When I try to continue from there. Main character eventually dies (Specialist, I can deal out 640K if I am the last member). Got really lucky in the last attempt. Where the 6 Golden attack each separate member including the drones + Golem. Was able to take down 2 of them with Dominic Rocket Launcher. Then it was a slow 45-60 min endurance. Especially when I ran out of Golems. When the final Golden took out the drones. When it targeted me, was able to bring an ammo drone and defense drone. Thankfully Golden did not switch targets. Would have been livid, if that happened. It not broken, nor is it as bad as a Golden B Pontes game. Not something i would recommend to anyone even if there is some value. Dragooned and Skylight Freerange 2 to follow one day... Dorroi

Popular Post Maxximum
#20 Jak & Daxter: The Precursor Legacy (PS3) Top of the Heap You have mastered the game and collected all there is to collect! Alright, so there it is - 20th platinum milestone. My original plan was to have FIFA 16 take that spot, but there was a change of plans so I decided to save it for later since there was a trophy I knew I just wouldn't earn instantly and that would delay what I have to play next. Another one that joins the list of the PlayStation exclusives I've played for the first time. It's this, inFAMOUS and Uncharted: Drake's Fortune that I really have to play the sequels for. I luckily and coincidentally played them in chronological order, which makes it interesting as a whole. Hope I can play the Sly and Ratchet & Clank games in the future. Fun game. I'm glad I still got to play it. It was on sale a while back and purchased it for $4.99. In similarity with a few previous games I've played, this is pretty much another collectible-hoarding game. Any game with lots of collectibles makes it easier to acquire them without any assistance from a video guide. The Precursor Orbs were scattered around as well as the Scout Flies, and the Power Cells were quite rare and well hidden, but still easy to identify. The boss fights were short and fun, had no HUD or life meters at all (which explained why they were short); different from what I thought before playing this. Daxter's reactions and comments on Jak's deaths in the game made me chuckle. Too bad he never got changed back, but I think he's fine the way he is. The fact that he was Jak's shoulder throughout the game was weird. He's a good dancer, too. The poses they both pull off when they acquire a Power Cell and watching Jak as he pushes the Naughty Dog logo and hits Daxter with it during the starting scene every time I start up the game ? New platinum in my milestones section on my profile. Well I'm proud of it. Blue image, better title than "Platinum" or "Platinum Trophy". My next ones are 1,337th trophy, 1,500th trophy and 30th platinum. I'll see what I'll have in store for those. Up next: Looking at my recent purchases, I think I'll do Teslagrad next. I realised it's a platform game and I hope it's easier than Guacamelee!. Along the way I plan on making Goat Simulator my new fastest platinum. I want a new platinum image and title. A pink one won't look bad, plus, the title is okay. Edited February 22, 2019 by ee28max

Infamous is still a very good game to this day, the gameplay is a bit annoying at times but overall it's still a very fun game. Popular Post Sergen
Bulletstorm (PS3): Platinum #131 Difficulty: 3/10 Time Taken: 30-40 hours The first thing I have to say about this is that I am thankful to have been able to get the opportunity to have done this game. The servers for the game were officially shut down, however a knowledgeable person in networking had this game incomplete on his trophy list and pursued bringing back the servers to make the platinum obtainable again. Instructions for being able to return to the online for this game are here: https://github.com/gonespy/bstormps3https://github.com/gonespy/bstormps3. I wanted to do this game as soon as Gonespy was revealed publicly, but I didn't have friends who were willing to set up Gonespy until recently. I may currently appear as the fastest achiever while I type this, but my partner for this game has a faster time than me, they did the whole thing in one sitting without sleep so it will be a short lived time when it is synced... I previously used Gonespy to make Unreal Tournament 3 possible again and I must say that Bulletstorm was the more enjoyable game of the two, on Unreal Tournament 3 you can't play online with other people, it is fixed because the online trophy can be done with bots. On Bulletstorm only the private matches work, but that is enough to make every trophy obtainable again luckily. It does have issues with freezing at times, but considering I never got to play Bulletstorm on the official servers, I can't confirm if those issues were present in the online, Gamespy had a reputation for providing bad servers to players at times. A funny thing about the co-op for this game was that it wasn't clear who had the higher score out of the two of us, since while you play the game your ID will be displayed as "BulletstormPlayer". As a host myself, I froze at around wave 13 or 14 while trying to reach wave 20 to get Anarchy Master, this was a slight frustration, but it was overcome when my partner was able to host, at least I got to find out that Gonespy supports late joining someone's private lobby because I froze while my partner hosted and was able to re-join without the lobby needing to be hosted again. The team challenges are also a guessing game, because the stat for those do not load correctly in the game, but luckily the game is still counting them and awards the trophy at the appropriate time. The co-op for this game definitely requires good communication with your partner(s) because you need to perform team kills for the highest amount of points. For Anarchy Master, we did it in Dead Rock where the tornado is and one person would stand at the bottom part of the map while the other person stood above it, we would slide kick our enemies toward the tornado and the other person would grab the enemy with the leash to get a lot of points per kill. When we could afford it, we also bought the Flail Gun and shot the enemy with it before kicking them to the tornado, as that also gives you bonus points. When I went to buy the DLC for this game, I was pleasantly surprised to see that it was cheaper to buy a $20 Canadian PSN Card and use a Canadian PSN account to purchase it, since their currency is weaker than the US dollar and PCGameSupply was selling a $20 card for £12. Conveniently, I went to America last summer and was able to buy an NA retail copy of Bulletstorm for $3 at a gamestop, that saved me having to buy the digital version of the game. I could go on a lot about mechanics of this game and such, but I feel that the game has been available long enough for people to know a lot about this game. While the memory is fresh, I will likely soon do Bulletstorm Full Clip Edition, they definitely made the Anarchy trophies a lot easier in that. Popular Post voodoo_eyes
#345 - Metal Slug Anthology I still remember playing the 1st and 2nd one at the arcades. Unfortunately those two are barely playable in this version. Not to mention input lag being in almost every game except 6. The first two games also suffer from being really laggy, if a lot is going on on the screen. Shame really as the games could be great fun, if they ran properly. Popular Post sephiroth4424
#145 Fallen Legion: Flames of Rebellion Hero of the People Enjoyment: 5/10 Difficulty: 5/10 First ps plus game i tried since i saw it's labeled as an rpg. The gameplay reminded me more of a rhythm game and less of an rpg. It's nothing special but the first playthrough can be a pain if you make certain choices. It's not a game you can grind to become stronger. You can farm gemstones but they don't help a lot and the drops are random. Your choices matter most since they unlock characters and obviously some are far better than others. You can transfer all unlocked characters each time you start a ng+ and that's why the game becomes easier with each playthrough. In my first pt i died like 60-70 times and most of those deaths where on the final boss.In my second pt i died twice and in my third i never even came close to dying.Naturally i made the worst possible decisions in my first pt and my rage meter went over 9000

Popular Post Elvick_
Platinum #165 Mages of Mystralia You're a wizard, Zia! Unlock every trophy I don't remember seeing this game before Limited Run Games released a physical copy, but apparently I saw it since I had liked the trailer from 2 years ago. *shrug* But I forgot about it, and I'm glad LR released this since it brought it back into my mind. I almost didn't order it, but I'm glad I did. It was great! Story is pretty good, music is really good. The spell crafting is a lot deeper than I would have expected it to be. The way you can link together spells is really something else. You can do some crazy things. The platinum isn't too difficult, I found most things on my own. Solved majority of puzzles myself too. Hardest trophy was to do the speedrun and with a user's "storm" setup it's easy. I tried with my own spells but it didn't work out. Was a few minutes short. And I'm a slow reader and I'm not sure if dialog counted or not.

Popular Post Dr_Mayus
World of Final Fantasy What a damn enjoyable game Honestly I kept hearing all these horror stories about how hard the mini-games were or how annoying it was to catch certain mirages...I never once had a problem with anything in this game and had a blast the whole way through. Seriously this was one of the most fun experiences I have ever had and I had such a great time I am going to highlight everything I loved about it and my very few nit-picks THE MAIN CHARACTERS If you the-have been following my the-statuses then you will the-know I started out the-HATING Tama...but very quickly (I would say by chapter 2) she started to grow on me and I stopped noticing the THE in front of every second word. Part of the reason Tama grew on me was because of how much I liked Lann and Reynn. Now these two characters should have annoyed me but much like Saints Row they just had great chemistry together and I found myself enjoying their banter with Tama's lines thrown in either agreeing or disagreeing with them. See you can have annoying characters...if they are written well and have good chemistry. Just so many games forget this and just have annoying characters. You really did feel like these 2 were siblings and they fought and supported each other as any set of siblings would. THE FINAL FANTASY CHARACTERS Well besides Cloud's horrible voice acting all of the characters were a great to see and it was nostalgic every time a new one showed up. That being said I wish there were more. I would have love Palom and Porom to be in the game to interact with Reynn and Lana as twins...and they could have had Sabin team up with Edgar as well. I mean how much fun would that have been to have the three sets of twins interacting and discussing the positives and negatives about being twins (especially Sabin and Edgar because they are so different). Or have some of the weird non-human characters like Umaro, Red XIII, Quin or Kimahri Maybe have Gogo be in the game and have Bartz react like "Hey, didn't we kill you?" Also there are 2 black characters (unless I am forgetting someone) in all of Final Fantasy and we seriously couldn't get either one in the game? I mean Barret and Sazh are 2 of my favourite FF characters and it sucks neither made the cut. AND FINALLY This was the one game...THE ONE GAME... where we could have had all the Cids together AND SQUARE DIDN'T HAVE AN ISLAND OF CIDS I mean what better way to get the airship than an entire fucking island full of Cids...sigh...what could have been THE STORY Ok, the story isn't the greatest but it was a good way to tie all the FF worlds together. Honestly it was just a bunch of set pieces strung together but I liked the characters so much it didn't bother me that there really wasn't much of a story here. I mean they barely delved into the reasoning behind the villains until almost the end but when they gave an answer I was like "that's fine, I can live with that." Also it would have been nice to have some more time at the beginning because all we got was Lann being worried about being late to run the coffee house...and then like 4 minutes later we were in Grimoire fighting goblins. I don't want to spoil too much of the story but nothing in Reynn or Lann's actual backstory has anything to do with running a coffee house so couldn't we have had more time in the dream world to flesh out some of the back story...like Kingdom Hearts 2 did? Anyways I could keep talking about the game but honestly if you like Final Fantasy and Pokemon...then give this game a go. It is a fun and easy plat and is just a joy to play through
Popular Post Viscera1900
#204 - Resident Evil 2 Raccoon City Native "Obtain all trophies." Enjoyment: 10/10 Difficulty: 5/10 The original Resident Evil 2 was my favorite RE game in the series. And for that reason; I was absolutely ecstatic when I heard that Capcom was going to remake that bad boy. I'm happy to say that this remake have met my high expectations I had for this game and I absolutely love this game. I'd even argue that it's my favorite version of RE2. There are some things that they could've done better, for example; The Leon & Claire AB scenarios. There were so many things that made no sense when you played the 2nd run scenarios, most notable were the boss fights. But the real reason why loved this version of RE2 is because of the gameplay. I think 3rd person view camera angle worked really well with this game. They made the game so dark to compensate the old fixed camera angles for difficulty and jump scares. I don't usually care too much about graphics, but oh my left nippletit It's so beautiful looking game. Leon's gorgeous hair never looked better... PS. Give me Resident Evil 3 remake! PLEASE REMAKE UMBRELLA CORPS TOO!!!
Popular Post Omelette Paradise
Here a bunch of games that I popped the platinum for on Vita for it's 7th anniversary event on this site over the last 2 days! #251 Farming Simulator 18 This is my fourth time at platting a Farming Simulator game on Vita so this was a nice relaxing one for me. I enjoy these games a lot. They're great for playing on the move and I do find that they can get addictive. #252 Ridge Racer Unpopular opinion - I think this game is underrated. It's pretty short on content if you're playing the standard edition with just 3 tracks and 5 cars but I picked up the Ultimate Edition when it was discounted which grants you access to the Gold & Silver passes which include extra tracks and cars. It's a highly enjoyable racing game and even though there's a bit of grinding involved when going for the platinum, I wasn't bored at any point. #253 Norn9 Var Commons Actually not a bad read for the most part. It has a very distinct look to it and has an interesting sci-fi setting. As ever with a visual novel, there are multiple characters and routes to play through. Not the best visual novel I've read but certainly not the worst. #254 I Am The Hero A very fun brawler game from Ratalaika Games and I enjoyed it very much. I loved the level design and the vibrant colours that were used and it took me back to my childhood days spent playing Streets of Rage. #255 Sir Eatsalot The first half of this game was very enjoyable and it started off strongly. The game hooked me in quickly with it's art style and the way it utilizes the Vita's unique features in a way we haven't seen for a while. My experience turned to frustration about halfway through the game as the shoehorned nature of some of the Vita's features started to grate on me. Sometimes less is more and whilst I do think it's great too see a game make use of the Vita's features in the way this one does, I thought they went overboard a little bit and there are a few frustrating sections that rely a little bit too much on these inputs. #256 Word Sudoku by POWGI Not a lot to say about this one other than it's a Sudoku game with letters. I enjoyed it though. Very interested to now check out the other puzzle games POWGI have released on the Vita. #257 BigFest This was a very enjoyable festival management sim. It's a shame that servers for this game were culled and equally a shame that the game was delisted as well. I had a bit of trouble with the A Big Yellow Taxi as it decided to glitch on me so I had to start a new game for that trophy.

Popular Post Kristycism
#95 - Hollow Knight Heart of Hallownest I had been meaning to go back to Plat this game for the last two months, but the thought of doing the final Pantheon was...too intimidating. But I decided to finally get my act together and stop being a baby, and it worked! I mean, it took me over a week to actually successfully complete after that, but I still did it at last! This game is honestly amazing though. I was shocked to find out it was made by only three (THREE!) people, as it's coded pretty much perfectly. I never encountered a single issue during my whole playthrough, whether it was stuttering or glitches, the game was just flawless. And even though I died a crap tonne, all of it was my own fault. I like games like this (and Bloodborne/the Dark Souls games, which I really need to get around to playing on this account), where nothing ever feels like a cheap, unavoidable death. When you screw up, you know it was entirely your own fault, and you learn from it each time until you eventually succeed, which feels so much more rewarding than "oh I'll just level up a bit more then steamroll things". For anyone who is a fan of the Soulsborne games, this is a great 2D experience along the same lines. I know "Souls-like" is thrown around a lot by developers, who just made a hard game that's unbalanced and think that's fine, but this game actually captures the essence of the experience really well, and does it's own thing with it. The map is more Metroidvania-like though, which I like, but not everyone does. But if you do like it, definitely get this game, it's honestly brilliant, and I can't recommend it enough to fans of either genre. And for anyone intimidated by the Pantheons - they're not as bad as you think they'll be, as I found out recently. Sure, you need to learn every boss, and beat them one after another with very few mistakes, but it gets easier and easier the more you practice. I'm even thinking of getting the NA version at some point just to do it again, Pantheons and all, because it's so rewarding to finally win! So yeah; TL;DR PLEASE support these developers by buying this amazing game, and hopefully the sales will convince them to bring Hornet's adventure to the PS4 Edited February 23, 2019 by Kristycism
Popular Post DamagingRob
#379- The Silver Case Lend Me 50,000 Yen? Completed all Silver Case trophies. You could probably find any visual novel on my profile, and I'd recommend it over this one. Just a weird game, with an odd control scheme. Want to walk? Hit Move on a spinning wheel first.. And people on pst.org weren't kidding about the Placebo cases. I dozed off myself during one. :/ It may be better to alternate those with the regular ones. Not only because they seem to be like a "B side" to the main story, but because doing them all in a row is an extremely long and tedious endeavour.. Had to resort to listening to music while playing to keep myself awake. I've also never wanted to look up videos on YouTube to see how much longer I had to go in a chapter before this game (that I can recall). Spoiler Boring screenshot for a boring game. Seems fitting.
Popular Post AustinMichael1
Platinum #104: Jump Force Difficultly: 3/10 Time to plat: 40-50hrs depending on factors Enjoyment: 3/10 Welp, I honestly was a bit disappointed in this game to be completely honest. So much hype and it fell flat. Coming off of playing Tales of Vesperia, I jumped into this (no pun intended) and ended up finding myself bored after the first couple days of playing it. The loading times were long and the story mode was very lackluster. It did have some neat character interactions but yeah. The only difficult thing to do in this game was get S rank on 10 expert missions, but that became simple through a cheese method with two moves. The 1 million gold and 100 online matches were boring grinds but simple. Probably could’ve finished it 4 days earlier but oh well, top 25 finish and top 15 fastest platinum time is fine by me lol. Popular Post Omar
#140 - Kingdom Hearts III KINGDOM HEARTS III Complete Master - Unlock all other trophies Achieved: February 16th, 2019 PSNP's RS: Uncommon Difficulty: 2 Enjoyment: A whole lot. Out of every video game series I am a fan of, Kingdom Hearts is probably the most special one to me. That's probably why I disappeared from the internet during the countdown to release and during my time with the game until it was all over. In fact, I got the game's platinum a few days back but I needed some isolated time to rearrange my thoughts. I am mostly happy I got to experience it after waiting for so long and I was almost fully satisfied. There are some things the game needs work on (a lack of difficulty being probably the most important problem) but overall I had a blast and the trophy list wasn't difficult or annoying at all. I hope everybody have as much fun with it as I did and I'm grateful to everybody involved in making it happen. Now if you excuse me, I'm shaping Lara Croft into the Tomb Raider she was born to be, hopefully for real this time!
