Popular Post Squirlruler
#61 Adventures of Mana - The Hero of Mana This was my first adventure into the Mana series. Played like a Zelda game so that was really interesting mashup. Haha. The game was SUPER easy. It definitely showed its age though. It really needs a quest log or something to let you know, even vaguely, where to go next. At least the map isn't too big, so getting around wasn't that bad. The final grind wasn't too bad, just boring. It did go pretty fast though (3-4 hours). Secrets of Mana is next! :D Enjoyment: 7/10 Difficulty : 1/10 Chocobot: 10/10
Popular Post Yoey_666
#312 - Trials Rising Long time ago since I was so hyped for a game. Now when I have finished it I have to say that it is really a very good game, BUT I loved the challenges of Trials Fusion and how freaking hard it was to achieve 100% trophies. Trials Rising was, sadly for me, way too easy. But hey, still a good game and maybe the DLCs will bring some more challenging stuff or tracks,

Popular Post Omelette Paradise
#259 Old Man's Journey I loved this game. It's a point & click/adventure title that doesn't feature any words but the story is an interesting one and it get's pretty emotional towards the end. I won't spoil it. See for yourself Enjoyment: 8/10 Difficulty: 2/10 #260 Storm Boy This was an interesting take on interactive storytelling but you're probably better off just reading the book. If you've never read the book then this may be worth playing. I will say that it's very relaxing and I enjoyed it despite having read the book previously. Popular Post madbuk
#304 - Chaos on Deponia It has been almost 2 years since I played the original Deponia, and I was very hazy on what happened so I had to quickly read a summary before starting this. On top of that though this game does a good job of summarizing Deponia in-game as well during the intro, which I was thankful for. This was a fun follow-up and further cements my dislike of this genre if played 'legit'. I enjoyed the story and the characters a lot, and I love the art style, but some of the puzzles are, like in almost all point and clicks (in my experience) pretty obscure. I tried doing it legit and my enjoyment of it increased immensely when I transitioned over to a guide instead. Did I feel guilty doing this? Absolutely, it's pretty shameful, but oh well. I got what I wanted out of the game - the story - and still played around with the dialogue options that weren't necessary. I felt like I got enough out of it even without all the aimless wandering until something happens gameplay style. There has been something that both this and the previous game has referenced a lot. I won't say it specifically because minor spoiler, but it's referenced so much that I hope we get to finally see it in the third and final game of the trilogy (Doomsday is a bonus game I think so it doesn't tie into the story of Deponia 1 and Chaos?). I'm pretty excited to get into the third game when it's on a deep enough sale, to see how everything gets wrapped up. Hopefully I wont take 2 years to get around to playing the next game, but who knows. Rufus is an amazing main character and I wonder what'll happen to him at the end of this series, because I can totally imagine him getting nothing out of this whole ordeal and being stuck with what he had at the start of Deponia 1, because he's that kind of character lol.

Popular Post sh4d0wzcs
#78 Assassins Creed Odyssey Was holding off on this one since I still had Origins in my memory and didn't feel like another 2-3 week game. Was boring at first but one I got through around halfway it started to get significantly better. The ending for me with Atlantis and finishing the Cult of Kosmos was fantastic and honestly didn't expect a thing. The end of the Atlantis questline for me was abolutely fantastic and I have very high expectations for whats to come and where AC as a series will head. Just in time for AC3 remastered and Liberation remastered.
Popular Post vampiresarego
#57 - Rime (PS4) 4th March 2019 The end is a new beginning 6 days, 9 hours, 20 minutes While taking a break between Kingdom Hearts games, I thought I would dip into the back catalog and see what was waiting for me. Waiting for me in there was this magnificent little puzzle platformer! Rime is an incredibly touching story of grieving and how one processes those emotions. With a magnificent art style and a great game mechanic, this game was a pleasant surprise. Tequila Works did a fantastic job with this game and should be quite proud of this game. Now, this game doesn't really offer up anything new to the genre, but it is still a very impressive game nonetheless, and should be on everyone's to play list. The trophy list is very achievable and should be a very straight forward platinum for any experienced trophy hunter. This game is a real gem and I can't recommend this game enough. Do yourself a favour, between your two next big AAA games, give this a whirl, you will thank me! FOX!!!

Popular Post SaiXeN-_-
#89 | Lara Croft GO Difficulty: 1.5/10 (2.5/10 w/o guide) Enjoyment: 7/10 Estimated time to plat: 4 hours A true adventurer Collect all trophies. Since I've bought this GO game with Hitman GO at the same time I decided to play through this one too, I was expecting the same copy-paste as the predecessor, well I was partially wrong - the game was made same way but slightly different instead of the classic "board game" like Hitman was, this felt more (I do not know If it's right word to use but, whatever) - realistic. ? But again the same problem, what is the reason for making a "puzzle" game when It's not challenging at all?? Even without using a guide. Well, at least the game used other aspects as a substitution for the lack of puzzle challenges. I really liked the soundtrack developers used in this one. As for the game itself, I'm giving it 7/10 because they added something new in this and It wasn't so monotonous as Hitman. Also really liked the whole mirror level idea, but still... Just a nice try.? NPCs looked cool though, the new respawn system have spiced up overall feeling just a little bit. Honestly, this game felt easier than Hitman. But I can recommend it to you.✌️ Screenshot sucks as always ? Also from a mention in my previous GO post @StiffTripple_X Re: "I will definitely look this one up and try to give it a go. Popular Post I need more BIOSHOCK
Plat 568 What an amazing job they did with this game! I still remember playing the original Resident Evil for the first time when my friend got it on the PS1 all them years ago and I was instantly hooked. Needless to say Resident Evil 2 was a must buy when that came out and I was virtually glued to my playstation for days on end. Very rare I pre order and pay full price for games on release but this had to be done. It’s stunning to look at and the gameplay is on top form. I had a hell of a fun time platting this beast and enjoyed every minute of it. The only regret I have is not buying the original music so I could have played with that for some awesome nostalgia (I wish I had so bad!!!!!). I had a good go at getting S+ on Leon for the unlimited rocket launcher but after wasting my 3 saves like an idiot before getting to the labs I could just not be arsed with it and getting eaten by those arsehole plants lol. Would have been fun to have a mess around with the unlimted minigun and launcher but if those S+ runs are not needed for the trophies I can live without them. I found the unlimited machine gun for getting S rank worked lovely enough and felt like Arnold running around in predator. Even if you are a Resident Evil virgin I can not recommend this game enough. A true timeless classic in the survival horror genre. Resident Evil Nemesis has always been my personal favourite followed closed by 2. When Nemesis comes out I will without doubt be pre ordering that! Bring that shit on! Enjoyment 10 Difficulty 5
Popular Post zizimonster
#62 Timothy vs the Aliens begins when Little Fish City is being invaded by a group of nasty aliens from outer space. They can cloak themselves, and appear only when they want to hurt people. Of course, the chosen-one-turned-gangster Timothy must battle against the strange beings and save his beloved city once and for all. While the game offers nothing new to the table, it surely is an enjoyable experience -- if you can accept its unoptimized performance when a large group of enemies appear on screen. Well, for $5, I recommend everyone play the game. The graphics is nice, though. Edited March 6, 2019 by zizimonster

Popular Post voodoo_eyes
#348 - Arc The Lad: Twilight of the Spirits This one ended up overstazing it's welcome a bit. Graphically it looks alright (it's a PS2 game after all) and gameplay-wise it's also fine for the most part. Ubfortunately there are two mechanics that I truly disliked in this game. Which is having to pick up the loot drops during combat or you don't get any. Seems like MMOs had to show up for combat.looting to be frowned upon. The other one is that there are enemies that have a chance to instant kill you. Granted you can get items that also have a chance to do so, but why the hell is that in the game.If you're doing the final arena and you have to clear 30 waves in a row, and one of those enemies spawns that has that passive proc and it goes off that?s two hours down the drain. Terrible game design. Enjoyment: 6 Difficulty: 4 (only due to RNG in the arena)

Popular Post SirDave1988
# 101 Prince Of Persia : The Forgotten Sands (PS3) Sand Master Unlock all other trophies. The road to 200 begins, and hopefully it won't take 10 years this time haha. Trying to focus on clearing my PS3 backlog now as much as I can in prep for PlayStation 5 so I can focus on the new console while clearing up PS4 backlog and so on. Really enjoyed this game once I got into it, it's just really good fun without too much BS like being excessively difficult. Platforming was really good, challenging but forgiving, exactly how it should be. The combat as well was great, didn't fell too repetitive and wasn't too taxing. The graphics were also pretty impressive in places, some of the sun/sand effects looked great, especially for a 2010 title. The story was a little cliche though and left it open for a sequel that never came, which is a shame actually looking back. Also, a small point, all the trophy icons had the same image which was kinda lazy . Collecting all the sarcophagus's was pain as well, especially with no chapter select option. Popular Post Ala-Arska
Marvel's Spider-Man Be Greater Collect all Trophies Honey, where are my paaaaants? Spider Pig, Spider Pig. Does whatever a Spider Pig does! Can he swing from a web? No he can't, he's a pig. Lookout! He is a Spider Pig! Now this is a super hero/comic book game done well! I don't think I've seen a legacy handled with this much care since Arkham City. For me, it gets almost all right. Starting from the playable sand box called The Big Potato Pear Cucumber Apple. New York, New York that is Landmarks are there, as seems to be the buildings, streets and areas as well. Nice to spot places like Daredevil's church or Jessica Jones' office, too. Swinging from a web through Central Park, between skyscrapers and above the city is exhilarating to say the least. I literally got goosebumps every time I dove off from a high, high tower (the Avengers tower's there, too!) and soared like an eagle just before the ground Characters are excellently more or less re-imagined, and voice acting is superb across the board. Especially the main ones like Peter Parker, MJ, Miles Morales (yup, he's got a role (do I sense a spin-off?)) and Dr. Otto Octavius shine like supernovas. Baddies are represented with some fan service in mind, but still leaving plenty room for a sequel. Please let there be a sequel, please please please... Lots of suits to choose from, to get a fanboy like myself all excited. Still, like in Shattered Dimensions, my fave was once again: It's the Bombastic Bag-Man from TAS Vol. 1 #258! Read all from that era, you're in for a treat! Graphics are pure eye candy. New York City at dawn looks fantastic, romantic and like the best city in the world from the sky Character animations are detailed, sharp and maybe too well made (Silver Sable is a MILF with an accent to die for. Am I sick in the head? Yes). Only two things bothered me a bit in this stockings-filled, spandex-loving fist-fest (eww, that whole sentence just came out wrong...). Firstly, playing with other than Spidey is fine. But they're all sneak bits, and enough is enough. How can the same s**t happen to the same guy, more than twice? Secondly, is it compulsory to have "hallucinating sections" in every goddamn adventure game? It was aces in Batman titles, but the charm is long gone, devs Even if you're not a fan, MS-M offers hours of pure excitement and adrenaline-filled action. No Spider-Ham sadly, but next time maybe?
Popular Post Condemned09
203 Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep (PS4) Birth by Sleep Master Obtain all trophies. Difficulty: 7/10 Enjoyment: 8/10 I can't believe I actually platinum this game for the second time even though I told myself I wouldn't platinum this game again after getting the platinum on PS3. Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep is probably the hardest and most time-consuming KH game to platinum, the game requires you to do everything with all three characters that includs beating all Secret Bosses, completing all crappy minigames, and getting all their command list. trust me they are not easy to do.
Popular Post Pershing24
#45 This Pattern is Mine Everybody's Gone to the Rapture No, this is not a Bioshock spin off (though I wish it were). This is essentially a walking simulator were you travel around the English country side trying to figure out whats happen to all the town-folks. The game is pretty simple, though you do need to beat the game at least twice, once for Open Ended, and then again for Completionist, and don't forget Radio Enthusiast as it is a separate collection run from Completionist as the trophy describes. Speaking of which, Completionist is the most tedious trophy in the game as there is so much to find in this game even though the map is quite small, you're character walks at snail pace. Fortunately all the other trophies are really easy. Just remember once you enter the bunker you cannot backtrack, so just make a separate save file just in case. I had some issues with my save filea as the game only saves automatically after an manual story scene, not after finding an collectible or anything else. So after reloading my backup file, it did not register two collectibles that I got last. After replaying this game, I must say its pretty good with its story telling, ever though I initially though it was very boring. Its certainly not an game for everyone but if you like mystery games or just an easy plat, then you'll like it, and its better than my next game.... #46 Moving On Murdered: Soul Suspect Another easy game that I've should have platinum awhile ago, and like Rapture, it can be difficult to get into due to its mediocre/boring detective story. The game play is ok, but alot of the characters are cliches and there's just not enough to do in this semi-open world game. As for the trophy list, well you just got to make sure you find and do everything in the game, but unlike Rapture, the collectibles are easy to find and most of the cases are easy to solve. Just keep in mind you cannot go back to the museum, so do everything there, and of course you cannot back track once you start the last level, so use the back up save file technique as mention before. Fun fact; This game was made by Airtight Games, the same studio that made Dark Void. Unfortunatly Murdered: Soul Suspect would be their last game as they shut down one month after release.
