Popular Post StiffTripple_X
Plat #50 Not it much to say about this game other than I’m glad I got it from ps plus because I would never spend money on this. The multiple “endings” are just one scene/sentence differences after the main few endings that makes you rewatch the same scenes over and over again. This game gets stale very fast with how much it reusues scenes. It’s not a bad game just not a great game. Popular Post jorgecarpio91
Platinum #34: Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered Great PS Plus free game for the month of march. This is the first Call of Duty I play on PS4, and it is a great one. All the trophies are on the campaign, so if you don´t like the unpredictability of multiplayer trophies, give Modern Warfare Remastered a try since no online trophies (plus, it´s free). Popular Post Beyondthegrave07
#77 Nier Automata Difficulty: 2/10 Fun: 10/10 Recommend: To anyone. In my top 2 favorite PS4 games, easy. Spoiler Wow. Just Wow. This has to be one of the best if not, THE BEST PS4 game I've played up to date. That was a roller-coaster ride. The game is so deep and the lore gets so much deeper if you take the extra time to read the archives and do the side missions. O-M-G. I finished Route A and route B thinking this game was going to have a happy ending with Route C tying up lose ends. I couldn't have been more off! LMAO!!! Route C was sad and depressing all the way through. Anyone whose played it will agree it's not for the weak of heart. I was so sad and disgruntled with how things were going, and once I got to the end of Route C. I thought to myself, "This... this is the end? This can't be..." Where the hell is the catharsis at the end of all this? Then, I unlocked route E, and suddenly, I got the ending that, maybe I didn't expect, but it was definitely satisfying. This is why you don't go buy the trophies after route C or D when you "beat" the game. This is why you keep playing... I loved the story. The theme of life and death and whether we are truly living and whether we truly have a soul is so well done in this game that it truly makes you think about life in general. There are not a lot of games out there that make you reflect upon yourself at the end of a game, but this is one of those rare occasions. The characters were all great and had there own flaws. 2B, 9S, and A2 felt like real people suffering from real problems and were all easy to relate to. Maybe not at first (with 2B), but you can definitely see the growth of each character. In the end, I'm probably one of those weirdos, but I liked A2 the best of the 3. Her story was more of a story of hate and vengeance while for the most part, 2B and 9S's story were about love. You see A2 as a murderer and killer for a majority of the game and then, you get to see what kind of person she was at the end, and I think that made me like her even more. I'm not going to lie to anyone on this one. I used the trophy shop to pop some of the remaining trophies. Why? because seeing the final ending was how I wanted to leave the game. I didn't want to remember the game for going around and farming a bunch of junk for weapons and unlocking a bunch of silly alternate endings that add nothing to the main story of the game. I didn't feel like glitching my way to level 99 and spend 30 minutes fighting a superboss that I didn't care about fighting. It allowed me to get the experience I wanted from the game and allowed me to enjoy the satisfaction of earning the platinum. I remember @DrBloodmoney had the exact same feeling as this. I was able to leave this game on my own terms (doing nearly 90% of the side missions and all of the main endings) and will remember it fondly for a long, long time and that is what truly matters... not the damn platinum. I hope to anyone who is reading this and is thinking about playing this game, gets it. It's 100% worth your time and money. I still can't decide if this is my favorite PS4 game or if Resident Evil 7 is... Either way, this is a must-buy. Popular Post Sergen
StarBlood Arena: Platinum #133 Difficulty: 5/10 Time Taken: 45-50 hours Firstly, the reason I did this game is because the server shutdown was announced. This game is going to shut down on July 25th, 2019... After the shutdown, every trophy on the game will be unobtainable. I'm very glad to have done this game, because it was my introduction to PSVR, as it is a VR only title. People often complained about this game for motion sickness, however I was able to handle it just fine, I'd be kind of annoyed having spent the money on a VR headset for it to all go to waste due to myself not being able to handle the headset. The only issue you really get with the headset is the fact that it can get hot, so it's best to take the headset off every once in a while. This game is an arena shooter, which you can probably tell from the title, however it is very unique in the way it implements shooting elements to it. You have 9 different ships at your disposal which all have unique features. I would say that games such as Unreal Tournament inspired this game, with an announcer who enthusiastically shouts your kill medals and random pick-ups on the map that can help you. The most unique aspect for me on this game is the fact that you need to aim on your screen by moving your head, so you basically point your head at the enemy you want to shoot and then fire upon them, this does surprisingly give you a lot of precision in regards to aiming, however I did lack a lot of head movement personally as my instincts normally force me to use the right analog stick to aim at things. Around half of the grind for this game can be done idle if you have a turbo controller, because you need to play 25 ranked matches with every character and simply spamming the X button on a turbo controller after choosing that character will take you through matches effortlessly. It was good that there was a lot of idling on this game, because it's not the kind of game I can really play for 12 hours straight, since the headset wasn't very comfortable after long periods of time. Most of the trophies on the game are tied to the in-game medals, you need to get most medals multiple times on the game, which can be a bit of a lengthy grind. The majority of medal trophies will likely come naturally to you if you play a lot of your ranked matches actively and while you're doing the Burn Circuits. Only the Shield medal and the Goalie medal really require boosting from another person, however I did boost a few more of the medals to avoid having to grind against annoying AI opponents. The only skill based aspect of this game is completing every Ultimate Burn Circuit with every character. This trophy could be one that scares people away considering it is a 0.44% trophy at the time I'm writing this, but throughout this game there are many sub-1% trophies that are absolutely unworthy of that rarity. When you've done one ultimate burn circuit, you're basically ready for all of them and for my last 5 or so characters, I breezed through the mode and did them all on my first attempt. The circuits are simply matches against AI which follow the exact same pattern for every character, the only somewhat difficult circuit is the first ultimate burn circuit because even if you perform very well in that match, your team can still lose and you'll fail to get first place. At least I got to find out that in the first ultimate burn circuit you only need to be first place on your team if your team wins and not first place out of every competitor. The Elsa AI regularly got the most kills in ultimate burn circuits so it would be annoying to not be first place due to her stealing all the kills. Another honorable mention for a "skill based" trophy would be for reaching wave 20 of the Invaders game mode, but it was actually very easy once I had leveled up my Alice and was able to deploy turret mines. Me and my partner managed to do the mode with only the two of us playing. This video shows the run that I had in Invaders mode from the perspective of my partner. Surprisingly I am the fastest achiever of the platinum, but I only beat that time by 5 minutes, that means that if I needed 1 more match for this game, I likely wouldn't have gotten the fastest time. I started the game not expecting to be fastest achiever, but I'll take it non-the-less. I'd like to thank Aexzia (Aela) and @Yuichiro-Akuhei who helped me with some of the trophies for this game, without Yui maybe I wouldn't be the fastest achiever because Aela asked him at a random time and he came on instantly, but he was the only person who could be asked at the time. Last but not least, I will say that VR trophies look absolutely horrendous when they unlock, maybe that's the reason for the rarity being so low on this game . Popular Post Caldor2K2
#113 - Castlevania Requiem This little collection caught me by surprise when it was announced. Not really feeling the newer Castlevania games these days, but I am a sucker for the older side scrolling versions. The collection contains Rondo of Blood and Symphony of the Night. Rondo of Blood was never released outside of Japan until 2007, when it was released on the PSP as Castlevania: The Dracula X Chronicles. Sure they did try to base the SNES Dracula X on it, but the two games are so vastly different its basically comparing apples and oranges. Rondo of Blood is a side scrolling linear game, much like every Castlevania game before it. However, Rondo of Blood does have alternative paths leading to alternative levels with new bosses. You can actually save a few NPCs as well, and one of them, Maria is actually playable. Her play style is different from that of Richter, and she also takes more damage. Game play wise, Rondo of Blood isn't much different than the games that came before it. You break candles or other objects to get hearts to use your sub-weapons (simply by pressing up and attack like it always has been), which can also be found by breaking things and all the while travelling through an area which may be a town or a forest and consist of 4 or more rooms and then a boss fight. Once the boss is defeated you move onto the next level and repeat until reaching the final level and defeating Dracula. Rondo of Blood felt more difficult than the earlier games, but that was perhaps due to the choppy and slow controls. It could be simply that the game was run off an early CD system, while trying to use 16-bit graphics on an 8-bit CPU. Of course, the difficulty from within the game didn't help either. In the earlier games, once you took damage there would be a brief moment of invincibility for you to enjoy. Not in Rondo of Blood. Depending on the enemy, they could hit you once, and before you were allowed to move you'd be hit again. As for the soundtrack, a lot of the better or best songs from the other games in the series were used,, so it was excellent. Symphony of the Night is the sequel to Rondo of Blood, although in 1997 most people outside of Japan never knew this. Taking place 4 years after Rondo of Blood, Dracula's castle has reappeared and its up to his son Alucard to sort things out. Symphony of the Night uses the same general game play as those before it, breaking various objects for heats, sub-weapons, money etc. New additions also make it play like and RPG, where defeating enemies earns EXP in which the player levels up and HP/MP/Heart capacity and/or stats are increased along with various types of equipment to use. Finally, to access Alucard's spells, certain controller movements (along with a MP requirement) are needed, almost in line with executing special moves in a fighting game. There are no stages to be completed as in previous games, as the player can explore the castle freely as they wish. Of course not all is possible at first as some areas will require certain items to be found elsewhere, so there will be lots of back tracking to be done. Luckily, there are a couple of rooms that teleport to quickly move around the castle once discovered. There are plenty of bosses to be fought, along with lots to explore so this game will take quite a bit longer than Rondo of Blood to finish. Even though it came out 22 years ago, the graphics still hold up well. It's probably because they are simple 2D sprites and not the clunky 3D models the PS1 was known for at that time (yes FF7 I'm talking about you). The soundtrack is still amazing, and probably one of the best of all time so it makes exploring the castle quite enjoyable. Symphony does have a few areas where the difficulty spikes that you'll have to watch out for. The PS4 version of Symphony of the Night appears to have been based off the Sega Saturn version, so there a few new things to the game. For some reason the script has been redone along with the voice acting. I'm not sure if this was how the Saturn version always was but in my opinion it is inferior to the PS1 version. If you've never played these games and don't mind spending some time with side scrollers, you can't go wrong here. Symphony of the Night is worth it alone as it has often been called the best Castlevania game ever, and regularly appears (often times highly ranked) on Best Playstation Games and Best Games of All Times lists.

Popular Post yellowwindow7
Raccoon City Native / Resident Evil 2 Remake oh man, it felt like ages since last time i posted here. this is an easy plat but man the 4th survivor is so frustrating! it's a luck based too as sometimes without eating a mixed herbs if an enemy hits you you'll not gonna lose health but sometimes they hits you and you'll reach caution or danger status, sometimes enemies will let you pass easily and sometimes you won't until you get your daily hug and kisses check. this is easily one of the best remakes i played in a long time but i gotta say the defensive weapon idea here is a bit stupid in RE2 Remake, i mean it worked on RE1 remake but in here it's very dumb to see an enemy grab you on that whole animation while you can't help but wait for the enemy to bite you if you don't have a knife or frag grenade or a flash bang... then ironically your character push them away to break free. in the original you can stomp zombies heads or kick them when they grab your legs, now there's an animation where they grab and bite your legs with a " dumb founded " looks on your character's face. a big shout out to my brother who helped me on the S+ ranks as he's very addicted to this game, he went to my account while i was sleeping and got the S+ ranks and i really didn't complaint at all and also a big shout out to the Youtuber called Darkness that have one of the best Easy S+ rank guide ever. i really don't feel like 100% the Ghost Survivors DLC, at least for now.

Popular Post rex_raptor1
#12 Road Rage Difficulty 1/10 Enjoyment 0/10 Rarity 31.2% This is my first platinum of 2019 and 12th overall. I have to say that Road Rage is probably the worst game I have ever played in a while. The glitches and bugs in this game had me pulling my hair out and almost throwing my controller across the room. This is supposed to be a remake of a game for Sega Genesis game called Road Rash. As a fan of Road Rash shame on this company for giving a great game a bad name with this garbage. I advise any and all gamers to stay far away from this game, the platinum is nothing but an utter grind and the glitches don't help neither. Play at your own risk.
