Popular Post Bumperklever
#90 Bioshock 2 (PS3)Platinum TrophyDate Achieved: 30 March 2019 100% achieved: XRarity: Very Rare (5-6%)Enjoyment: 8/10 So I finally platted the game that I started back in my old accounts day. Back then I finished the game AND reached level 40 using non-boosting methods and my plan was to plat it. Never did it, even though I had a blast playing it back in the day, especially multiplayer! So multiplayer is fun and even the few normal matches (yes they still excist) between boosting was a trip down memory lane. However nowadays the servers feels a lot more laggy which kinda annoyed me in the long run, but doable nevertheless. I appreciated the game a lot while playing it. Especially the big level structure in comparison with something like infinite. The atmosphere, the setting and story are on point. The gameplay is arguably a little bit sluggish, probably due to slow daddy, but especially on the harder difficulty this got a bit annoying. Speaking of which; damn hard difficulty is hard, the only later level were I didn't die was the last level!

Did it again, and somehow managed to get 8th fastest achiever status ;d A lot better than it's PS3 version, this felt a lot more smoother, it was really laggy whenever i used a Ultimate Attack in ps3's version of the game, but it's not as smooth as Xenoverse 2 that's for sure ;d
Popular Post CalicoReidso
My Platinums completed for :January, February & March 2019 January #111 The Little Acre Played it a while back. I just needed the speedrun trophy. Glad it's finished. #112 Gemini: Heroes Reborn Played a bit of this a while back. Collectibles are annoying, but the game itself is straightforward. #113 Call of Duty Classic Very hard. More annoying when the difficulty trophies don't stack. (Grrrr!!) February #114 Call of Duty: World at War (Base game platinum) Finally finished this after some time. "Sum of all zeroes" trophy was annoying. The Veteran on most of the missions were F***ing crazy, especially on...'Burn 'em Out' and 'Heart of the Reich'. #115 Beyond: Two Souls (PS3) Just needed to clean up on a handful of trophies for the Platinum. #116, #117 & #118 Drowning (PSVita EU, PS4 EU & NA) Easy enough Platinum. Why not play it again for additional platinums, eh? March #119 Until Dawn Got this as a PS+ free game summer of 2018. I quite liked this game, good death sequences etc. #120 The Infectious Madness of Doctor Dekker I like this type of game. Questioning people was fun. #121 & #122 Blackwood Crossing (EU & NA) Some of the comments Scarlet makes when you click on the posters are funny. Very sad ending about Finn. I actually did feel emotional. But good game indeed. #123 Coffin Dodgers Got back to this after playing a bit of it in Nov 2016. Very funny game, and the races are great to play. #124, #125 & #126 FullBlast (PSVita EU, PS4 EU & NA) When I played it on the PSVita, I had to squint hard due to the blue spots, it was insane trying to dodge them all. (I think I need to get glasses LMAO). But when I played the PS4 versions, I had no problem on the bigger screen #127 Aragami + Nightfall DLC Good game. In a way, it reminded me of the game Tenchu #128 Steins;Gate (EU) Got this as a PS+ free game Dec 2018. Very long game, but it has a very good story line. It also had a lot of funny remarks. #129 Nubla 2 Going back and forth a lot in Chapter 3 was a pain, but other than that, all good. #130 Storm Boy (NA) Another easy platinum. The mini-games were fun. Sad ending about his friend though. ;(

Popular Post Gamer-Girl-Noire
Platinum #47 Fate extella link time to platinum: 54 hours fun: 8/10 difficulty: 3/10 story wise next to the umbral star it's pretty meh as its very basic but it improves alot in actual game-play and how characters are. servants like Artoria, gil and the two new berserkers rain supreme though for pure out versatility and move range that can combo well with the now bigger crowds. now you only need to make one of a mystic code so if you make the EX version or normal one it doesn't matter. now to see all the events you only need that character to be bond level 24 with one of each servant class being at 30 for the linked mystic code. double skills are also absolutely broken and with how many skill drops you can get at the end of extra battles you can double up on say the saber dual skill and the def buff with anti hero so you're rush attacks are now doing outrageous damage when stacked up with bravery and the other attack boosting skills.

Popular Post linkdevivo
Platinum # 160 - Sekiro Shadows Die Twice Sekiro Shadows Die Twice Difficulty: 8/10 Enjoyment: 10/10 Gameplay is king, and there is no better feeling this generation than when Sekiro just clicks. Everyone will have that moment while playing this game, you start to doubt yourself, you don't understand if you're playing right, you get killed a bunch of times because you're trying to play like dark souls. But then you start deflecting and countering, you understand that dodging everywhere will get you killed, you start a beautiful tough dance where you need to be on guard for every single attack, trying to figure out if you should, block, deflect, jump or dodge. You feel in your heart that when you die it's because you jumped instead of dodging, or dodged instead of deflecting. It is truly a mesmerizing experience. The fact that the upgrade system is so good is where the hook lies. The gameplay loop is so rewarding, making you have better posture and better attack which in turn makes you better at the tough combat, as well as giving you extra skills and prostethic upgrades to play around and find your style. And the world-building of this game is legendary. So many beautiful levels, all inspired from Japanese myth and lore. I feel that From Software has been leading to this and I never thought that Sekiro would surpass Bloodborne for me, but it did. And published by Activision no less. I really hope this IP gets a sequel because it truly is a masterpiece of video game creation. I can't stop gushing about it, it has consumed me completely. I'm sad that my journey is now over. Can't wait for DLC. Edited March 31, 2019 by linkdevivo

Popular Post ShadowReplicant
Platinum #70: Devil May Cry 5 Difficulty: 9.5/10 Enjoyment: 10/10 This is a big one for me. At first, I wasn't going to go for the platinum, simply because the requirements seemed a little over the top. I've 100%ed games like Vanquish and Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance in the past, but this was just overkill... or so I thought. I ended up loving the game so much, that I decided to put everything else on hold (sorry, Sekiro, I will make it up to you soon) and just go for it. And I'm glad I did, because DMC5 is without a doubt one of the best hack and slash games ever made, and without going through all this, I don't think I would've experienced everything it had to offer. So, for the second time this year: thank you, Capcom, you rock!
Popular Post jaehyun1009
#126: Bioshock (PS4) Platinum Trophy Unlocked all trophies A solid shooter that didn't seem too out of ordinary, that is until I got to that point... ...where I got to the Rapture Control Center with that monologue from Andrew Ryan that practically changed my outlook on this game, the twist was excellent and voice acting just as much so... that quote "a man chooses, a slave obeys" feels like some sort of a guiding philosophy I was looking for my whole life. This is the point where this above average game skyrocketed to a masterpiece that is in the upper echelons of my game rankings, which is all the more impressive because I don't think any game has managed to change my opinion so drastically with just one scene. I don't exaggerate my opinion on games often, but I will admit this time that this is a game that I won't forget for a very long time.

Popular Post Vergil
Platinum Trophy All Trophies Unlocked Finally got this done. A nice fighting game. Ive got the MKXL for only 5$. Game has great graphics but like ive said earlier the fatalities have gotten to realistic. Some are just gross. Gameplay is good, being able to perform nice combos relatively easy. Story is usually the same for fighting games The trophies have nice variety of doing different stuff. However it gets boring after awhile. Especially level Factions and Personal level. Doing so many Towers as well gets boring. I would have preferred something more challening. Like doing the Tower on hardest difficulty or better with Kombo challenges. Hope it will return for MK11. The 10 ranked wins was easy with backing up your save. So just a matter of time really! Enjoyment 8/10 Difficulty 4/10
Popular Post Dauersack
#26: Tropico 5 Platinum Trophy Tropico 5 is pretty much a simulator that let's you play as a carribean dictator on the island of Tropico. It plays not much differently from other strategy city building games, with several ways to tackle each problem and giving you a lot of freedom on how to play. Want to be a democratic leader with fair and regular mandatory elections that keeps his people happy and builds a tourist paradise? You can. Wanna go all Erdogan on people and lock up anyone who even slightly disagrees with you? You can. Wanna go full blown Castro and fend off military attacks from your own people turned rebels and foreign powers alike? You can. Wanna just turn your beautiful island into a huge factory that floods the world with all kinds of products made in Tropico while you rake in the cash? You can. You create your own family dynasty with each member having a special manager talent and a passive one, and getting several chances to have an impact on world history through events, like trying to end the prohibition to sell more rum to the usa, or kidnapping the pope. The game is easy to learn and quite forgiving most of the time, but it is still a lot of fun to play. Despite being a strategy game on console it controls quite well most of the time, and the only thing that sucks is the road building, like seriously that is a pain in the ass at some points. Aside from seeing your once shitty little island grow, it also is a lot of fun to mess with your subjects, interacting with your advisers and going through changes from colonial era to modern era all while listening to normally insufferable spanish music. One strong selling point for this game is that it is absolutely chock full of dark humor, downright malicious satire and tons of eastereggs and references of all kinds. Aside from the sandbox games you can play, there are 3 campaigns you can follow and a ton of scenario missions, ranging from semi historic, over fictional all the way to hilariously absurd. The main campaign tries to intigrate Tropico into several historic events while you try to fulfill goals for each mission on the 2 islands you switch between each mission. I really had a blast with some of the characters antics and it was a bonus for me that I did not have to build from scratch for each mission. The multiplayer is probably a lot of fun if you play with friends, but I ended up boosting most of the trophies for that to get it done quicker. Still having some dlc cleanup to do in the game. The platinum was quite easy and not too long to get, and the game as a whole gets a big thumbs up from me. If you like to build stuff and roleplaying as a big jerk while getting an easy plat for it, you should really consider giving this a try. I got the full version on sale and it was definitely worth the price, and then some. The dlc is rather expensive for what it offers, and it is not actually needed to enjoy the game, so even if you just see the base game for a very low price you should get it.
Popular Post DamagingRob
#382- 1979 Revolution: Black Friday True revolutionary Unlock all trophies Very short Telltale-like game. Gameplay really only consists of selecting dialogue choices, walking around, and a few quicktime events. Was alright, but I had some trouble unlocking the trophy for not failing any QTEs. Considering I found 2 Steam threads and one on an Xbox site having issues with it, I'm convinced it may be a bit buggy.. Doing them all again and playing until the end still didn't unlock it. But just redoing the first one and then replaying the final chapter did. The collectible trophies are kind of buggy, too, and you never know how early or late they may unlock. So, I really shouldn't be surprised. Spoiler Edited March 31, 2019 by DamagingRob
Popular Post SirDave1988
# 103 Devil May Cry (PS3) Platinum Trophy Unlock all trophies This one nearly defeated me, it's right up there with the most difficult plats I've ever done. After playing and finishing Devil May Cry 5 (which is absolutely fantastic by the way), I got the urge to go back through the series once again and play the classics. I'd always had unfinished business with this platinum having given up initially on Griffon 3 on Dante Must Die difficulty a few years ago and decided to give it another go. After an initial struggle, I managed to take him down, and even though I knew the worst was to come, nothing could have prepped me for the challenge I was about to face. Seriously, Dante Must Die difficulty in DMC1 is the mot difficult task I've ever done in a hack-and-slasher. It is harder than ANYTHING in the God of War series, let's put it that way. I'm also happy to have a Devil May Cry platinum finally, especially this one. It's one of the most nostalgic, brilliant games I've ever played on PlayStation, having played it way back on the PS2 in 2003 in school. This game would absolutely be up there in contention for my top 10 games of all time. It's not perfect, far from it, but there's just something about it that makes it like a time capsule to another part of my life. What else can I say? Awesome ?? Popular Post FluffyAssassin64
#105 - Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice Sekiro "All trophies have been unlocked." I'm very proud to say that I've been with the Souls Series (and spiritual successors like BB and this game) since the very beginning - that's right, I started with Demon's Souls Ever since then, From Software's games have easily become some of my all-time favourites, and Sekiro is very much a worthy successor to the 'Soulsborne-iro' (haha) series. If I had to describe how Sekiro takes From's formula in a new direction in one word, it would be "streamlined". Gone are the RPG-like stats, complicated progression systems and weapon types in favour of a much more focused experience. In my personal opinion, I prefer having more ways to make my character my own; but that didn't stop Sekiro from being a heck of a blast to play. The changes to traversal, stealth and combat in general are all incredibly well-done here; even if I did take a while to adjust to the new parry system (I can't tell you how many times I got hit by attacks because I tried to I-frame dodge through them, haha). Once the combat clicked, though, I could hardly put the game down. Sekiro has one of those rare systems where even killing the most basic of enemies is satisfying. The slow drip-feed of new skills, abilities, and prosthetic arm upgrades kept it feeling fresh too. As always, boss design here is varied, interesting and often surprising. I especially loved how each new boss encouraged (if not, forced) you to learn and 'git gud' at a different play style from what Souls-vets will be used to (the deflecting and more aggressive play style in particular). There are a few great boss moments that I won't spoil here, but I can 100% guarantee you that you'll be taken by surprise, haha. That is, as long as you go in blind... which I ABSOLUTELY recommend. Since there aren't weapons, abilities, spells, etc. that can easily be missed, there is no reason to spoil this game for yourself by using guides on your first play through! This is a pet-peeve of mine, but the game is so incredibly fun when the sense of discovery is at the forefront. Environments are gorgeous (particularly a certain late-game area) and - though many of the From tropes (poison swamps...) - are still here, the grappling hook makes navigating them feel very new and exciting. Characters and side-quests/NPC interactions are as cryptic and strange as always, though I personally felt that many of them lacked the impact found in previous games (thinking of memorable experiences with something like Lautrec or Eileen). Not to say they are bad, just short and with relatively little impact on anything in the game world apart from opening up a few new vendors and items. Now for the big question... HoW hARd IS tHe gAme?! Well, to be honest, that completely depends on how quickly you can get used to the combat system. Once you master deflects, posture bar management, and counters to 'perilous attacks' (mikiri in particular), many of the game's bosses can be a breeze. On my first playthrough though, I died more times than I card to admit even to early-game bosses as I struggled to adapt. By the end-game I considered myself quite good, but some late game bosses tested my abilities and even encouraged me to change my playstyle in new and interesting ways. On NG+ and ++ I was absolutely destroying bosses; and not just because I was 'over levelled', but because I had mastered the combat system. In my view, that's the mark of a near-perfect system. Something else I wanted to touch on was how I'd compare Sekiro to Nioh - another very similar style of game that came out recently (also set in Japan). Though they are completely different in many ways, the number of similarities lends itself to comparison. While I far-and-away preferred the combat in Sekiro, Nioh - for me - was much more memorable overall. It seemed to have more 'heart', and - despite it's shortcomings - is a game that I feel I will remember more fondly in the future. Sekiro continues the Soulsborne trend of a 'lonely' world with crazy characters, manic bosses, and deep and interesting lore, but Nioh just had something that I feel Sekiro is missing... and I can't quite put my finger on it They're both excellent games though, don't get me wrong! I also still think Bloodborne has both games beat in its atmosphere and setting (and trick weapons!!), but that's just, like, my opinion man. So... should you play Sekiro? Absolutely! If you're not averse to some early-game frustration as you grapple with the new mechanics (particular as a Souls-player) and a few niggles, I reckon anyone could have an absolute blast with this game. It's may not be my favourite in the Souls Series (sitting around the middle), but Sekiro is a stellar progression on the Souls-formula, and I can't way to see where From goes from here; both with DLC (HYPE!), and with their formula in the future. Oh, and trophies are pretty standard. You can save AFTER the very last boss and before 'interacting' with a certain character (backup on a USB) to get all endings if you want, but again, I would NOT recommend spoiling yourself on the first playthrough. But hey, each to their own Game rating: 9/10 Plat difficulty: 4/10 (honestly not that bad)
Popular Post Dr_Mayus
Yonder: The Cloud Catcher Chronicles Didn't know what to expect from this game but I was quite pleasantly surprised. It has a real charm to it and makes for a fun and carefree adventure. The only real problem with this game is it tries to do too much without really putting too much thought into how it plays out. For example, it has a crafting system...but there are no enemies so all you are doing is crafting to complete side missions to get more crafting materials to complete side missions. There is a Season system but there is no difference to the world beyond when Cats show up (I will get to that). The water doesn't freeze in winter, the trees grow all year round and there is no point to the days ticking by. There is a fast travel system but all it does is lead you to another world where you have to guess which Sage Stone leads to the one you want. Most games open the map and you can select where you want to fast travel to but here I was always guessing. The collectibles...mainly the fucking Cats. Supposedly this game was impossible to platinum until the developer patched in more cats but these things were a huge problem. They appear only during certain seasons (see above) and during certain times of the day. On top of that there is no collectible tracker so you have no idea where they are and you only know these things are around because it starts to meow a little....then you have to scour the area to find the tiny circle that kind of looks like a rock. So you might pass a Cat the whole game but you were there during the wrong season/time of day and not know it was there. Farming-There is a farming mechanic that allows you to get more items for crafting but all I did was plant some berry plants and these are worth 50 gold each and I was set for money for the game. Seriously I never ran out of money once because I had like 200 berries on me at all times. Anyways this might sound like I am complaining a lot but it really was a fun game and worth checking out...these are just some of the stuff that they could have fixed to make it a much better game. P.S. This game also has a constellation collectible and one of the constellations was Mayus the Hopeful Beast...what the fuck that is just awesome

Popular Post RedRodriguez87
#220: Ripto's Remorse #222: Party like it's 2024 So I decided to finish up the trilogy. And yeah, I can confirm that this would've been something I could appreciate more if I had actually grown up with these games. As they are now, I can't help but find them kinda forgettable, outside that Tom Kenny voices Spyro. Even the individual elements I did kinda like I felt would end up being done better in other games later down the road. After the frustrating bosses in Spyro 2, it was a relief that Spyro 3 was the absolute easiest of the trilogy, not only in terms of difficulty, but in plat requirements as well. I guess I would agree with the assessment of the 3rd installment continuing the unfortunate media trend of being the weakest, but hey, at least I can say I experienced all of them now. #221: I'll Get Everything Back! Lord almighty, this one took NO effort. I managed to squeeze it in-between 2 Spyro games, that's how easy I am talking. I mean legit, no boosting or whatever. Like with I said with my Guilty Gear plat, I really had no business playing this, I just liked the way the plat looked. I DID follow the story a lot easier though, as Tekken was something I would make a habit of playing when a new one came out, but even then, I dunno. They supposedly ended a major conflict in this installment, and yet I'm 99% sure it won't stick, making the whole thing feel rather pointless. And it wasn't exactly the best told story, either; the leads spent the majority of the time being talking heads staring at a screen with the occasional flashback fight spicing things up. The individual characters' episodes were absolute garbage, with character rivalries and match-ups that make no damned sense (because the core game axed so many mainstays for dumbass reasons), their endings being at best unsatisfying and worst a slap in the face. YMMV on it, but I can't help but think of Tekken 4, and how it at least TRIED to make every ending relevant to the main plot.
