Popular Post Undead Wolf
#258 - Yakuza 6 The Song of Life Obtained all other trophies. I finally got around to playing this game, the end of Kiryu's story. I had some other Yakuza plats to obtain first, and they aren't exactly known for being short. So this is the first game in the series to use the Dragon Engine, specifically designed for this generation of hardware. It's certainly an impressive leap over the previous engine they used when it comes to visual fidelity and how seamless/alive the world feels. Being able to walk into buildings without a loading screen really adds to the experience. Unfortunately, the use of this engine came at a cost because of the team's inexperience with it, making this game sorely lacking in terms of content. There are even whole sections of Kamurocho blocked off in this one. It's even more jarring coming from Yakuza 5 which was a game filled to he brim with things to do, plus it had more cities to explore and also 5 playable characters. Also, I felt like the combat was a downgrade as it feels a lot more simplified in this game, and gone is the style switching from Yakuza 0. In many ways, Yakuza 6 is a disappointment, especially when compared to the highs of this series (Yauza 5 and Yakuza 0), but thankfully the story is still great as it has always been. As Kiryu's last game, I felt like it reached a satisfying conclusion. The many twists and turns kept things interesting throughout. I also grew attached to a lot of the new characters while also coming to despise the new antagonists (in a good way!). The story and characters were definitely this game's biggest strengths. So that makes this my 6th Yakuza plat now (or 7th if you count Fist of the North Star). My goal is to platinum every unique game in the series, so I've definitely got my work cut out for me. I'm making progress at least.

It was fun and the trophies very simple to get. The game had a lot of potential to be really good but was very buggy. Typical problems with lag, falling through the map, etc. Once you worked through the issues, the game was straight forward, typical survival game. If played solo, the game offered a lot of challenges and has a decent difficulty level. Playing with friends severely lowers difficulty and use of Admin Controls brings both the game's difficulty and trophy hunting to practically nothing. The game has a decent challenge level that its high Platinum earned percentage would not suggest. The Platinum is earned by the time you reach Level 47 and most probably quit playing as soon as they earn it but the game still has quite bit more to offer afterward and the difficulty keeps ramping up. It has a unique twist having to build an academy to train, upgrade, promote, and graduate your Adventures. As you constantly rotate out your team, there is a degree of difficulty that you never quite get over as you are always in need to bring in fresh Level 1s into your main party to satisfy the game's demands as well as the fact that adventurers enrolled later in the game have a higher max level. A pleasant surprise and highly recommend to those who like RPGs. Edited May 12, 2019 by Matrim_Drasgen

cynical_fate
Plat#9 I actually really enjoyed this one a lot, I know a lot of people play these for an easy quick plat but I actually played through the whole game, even if you can plat within the first 10 levels. I love these fun little games, I know the region stacking is why these games get so much hate but they bring some pretty fun stuff to the console for a cheap price. Popular Post GarciaFever
#189 Zero Escape: The Nonary Games It was nice having to not only replay Virtue's Last Reward, but also have the ability to play 9 Hours, 9 Person, 9 Doors, of which was only available on the Nintendo DS. With this, I now have all Zero Escape games platinumed. Now all that's left is to finish the rest of the Danganronpa games (in due time). There was one thing that I couldn't figure out at first: what exactly happened between December 25th and December 31st of 2028? Then I learned that, to find the answers to this question, you have to play Zero Time Dilemma. Since I platinumed that game a long time ago, I didn't bother wanting to replay that one again (unless they remade it for the PS4, which I highly doubt it).
Popular Post Eramir
It's been a while since I last posted here, in the meantime I got 5 plats. Platinum #42: Assassin's Creed Liberation Remastered One of the easiest plats in the franchise, but the game in itself wasn't that good. Just missed the feeling. The game has numerous bugs and it crashed quite a lot during sessions. Don't know if I would recommend it.. Platinum #43: Disney Sing It: Family Hits One of the games that I had on my profile with a low completion, knocked it out with my girlfriend. We enjoyed ourselves and that is whats important. Last trophy we needed to get was 150 songs with a minimum of three stars. That was a bit of a grind, we ended up singing Cruella de Vil about 40 times in a short time. I still have that song in my head ? Platinum #44: Conan Exiles Nothing much to say, the trophy whore in me got the better of me, got it free with psplus and its a free platinum. Platinum #45: Horizon: Zero Dawn One of the best games I have played. Everything in this game is good, its a bit of a mix between far cry and assassin's creed. The storytelling in this game is sublime. I was afraid of a disappointment because of all the praise, but ended up praising the game myself. I bought the complete edition, holding of the dlc, because I don't want to rush it. Platinum #46: inFamous: First Light Started it Saturday, completed it this morning. A short, fun game. Challenges were not too hard, and not that boring. But that could be me. Here is hoping that SP makes a new inFamous. The games are really fun. Maybe I'll be going back to the first and second one, but I'm fearing the blast shards (especially in the first). Next up will probably be Ghost Recon: Wildlands. Ever since I joined this website, I almost doubled my platinum trophies and my completion rate got approx. 15% higher. Love it!.
Popular Post voodoo_eyes
#363 - Timothy vs the Aliens As usual with these PS+ extras for ES/PT, not a good game. While music and art style are solid, the gameplay is lackluster and bland, controlling the character/car feels stiff and shooting is subpar. The game also hard-locked twice. Popular Post DEsIx_KaerO
#192 - Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep It feels good platting the game again, and it felt even better by playing it once again Starting off the usual way, Terra > Ventus > Aqua, finished everything with Terra first, that is everything that was available, then move on to next character, had to finish up Aqua's story, before i got the last Mirage Arena missions and super bosses. Speaking of them, they were easy, this time around i had no problems taking out each and every one of them, with Terra i defeated Unknown on my second try, which is something that i never expected to happen. ( tried 100+ times on ps3 version ) With Ventus it went, surprisingly well ( the fight against Unknown ) did not retry as much. But with Aqua it was harder, somehow might be the low damage output, so the fight drags on for a longer time. And i died once when he only had this much HP left VVVVV This combo was brutal, Flame wall + regular attacks, which stunned me, and you know what happened next Won after this fight for my sweet sweet revenge Spoiler

Popular Post sh4d0wzcs
#81 Days gone I'm happy I ignore review sites and this turned out to be a real gem and imho goty worthy. The whole world in general felt aweskme to play around in, I loved how the weapons felt and hoe the bike felt. Riding the bike around felt so satifying and I hardly ever fast traveled because of it. The hordes were absolutely terrifying at times and so random where every fight felt different. I absolutely loved the combat as everything felt so right and the story was absolutely amazing and the secret endings(mainly looking at you NERO) were so unexpected. Going for the collectables wasn't all that bad, by the time I got to the end of the story I had about 20-30 to go and just ended up roaming the ripper camps and was done fairly quickly. The cairns were a pain in the ass though as they blended in too good. I did have a few bugs and issues with the massive fps drop almost as if the system couldn't keep up with the game, I also had the no sfx bug with the bike from time to time but a quick save and reload fixed it everytime. I also chose Burnout Apocalypse as my last trophy for platinum as you cannot have a zombie biker game without that as a milestone, I cannot wait for dlc and with very good chance a sequel(NERO ending kinda confirms) Overall I give this game a 7.5/10 because of bugs and 10/10 enjoyment value. Popular Post jaehyun1009
#130: Titan Souls Ascension Collect all Trophies Difficulty 8/10 Enjoyment 7/10 Holy hell this game was so difficult and annoying despite how short it was... Definitely the most frustrating experience I had with a game since OlliOlli2 almost 3 years ago, but I didn't feel as rewarded with this one, probably because I "had to" use cloud backup method for the no death runs; I imagine most others have done so as well because I can't see this platinum at current rarity without that exploit. It still feels good to conquer this beast and put it behind me for good.

Popular Post Conor
#29- DARKSIDERS (PS3) BFA Enjoyment: 8/10 Difficulty: 3/10 Time Taken: 2 Weeks, 3 Days, 1 Hour (17 Hours in-game) Rarity: 3.0% Ultra Rare (PSN) / 13.25% Rare (PSNProfiles) Hardest Trophy: The True Horseman (Gold)- COMPLETE the game on APOCALYPTIC difficulty I serve only the Council. Only the Balance. As the Horsemen always have... Another cool game that I played years ago on 360. It took me way longer to get this than I anticipated but life just gets busy sometimes, I guess. A cool mix of old God of War and Devil May Cry, Darksiders follows War, one of the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse and his quest to clear his name after being wrongfully accused of conspiring to bring about the Apocalypse too early. Liam O'Brien puts in a great performance as War, with Troy Baker and Mark Hamill rounding out a voiceover superstar cast. In terms of gameplay, War doesn't quite have the speed or maneuverability of Kratos or Dante, but his attacks have power and weight behind them, brute strengthing his way through hordes of demons in his quest for redemption. As well as his big ass sword, War also wields Death's Scythe, a crossblade, a big handcannon and a gauntlet to pound in Angel chests. The combat isn't overly flashy but it is meaty and visceral. The game isn't all that challenging, even on Apocalyptic difficulty, with very generous checkpoints (mosly) and in a pinch activating War's demon form is basically a free win in almost any scrap. However, it may not be difficult but it is still very fun. I had a very good time revisiting War's story and will do so again on PS4 soon. Even though I have a copy of Darksiders II on PS3, I won't be playing it due to the platinum being unobtainable so I'll have to only play the Deathinitive Edition on PS4. For now, I will be finishing up Kingdom Hearts III... Edited May 14, 2019 by Stan Lee
Popular Post Undead Wolf
#259 - Zone of the Enders HD Edition Elite Frame Runner Collect all trophies This is my first experience with ZOE and I really liked it. Short but sweet. It was really fun controlling the Orbital Frame - it's like one of my Japanese animes. I hard a hard time understanding what everything that was going on in the story, but I got the gist of it. The voice acting/dialogue was pretty bad and sounded awkward at many points, but there was a sort of charm to it. I thought the whole theme of preserving life was done pretty well. As for the platinum itself, there was a bit of a learning curve since I decided to do the one playthrough method which meant starting out on Hard and getting the A ranks right away. The first rescue mission was pretty tough and I had to replay it a whole bunch of times since it's so easy for a civilian to die or too many buildings get destroyed. Once that was out of the way, though, it was pretty much smooth sailing from there. I'll be moving onto The 2nd Runner shortly. I hear people talk very highly of that game so I'm looking forward to it. Edited May 15, 2019 by Undead Wolf
