Popular Post Zach
#132 Super Weekend Mode Enjoyment: 7/10 Difficulty: 1.5/10 Time: 13 minutes I really needed a fast platinum to break off from the grind of Star Wars Battlefront 2 and Red Dead Redemption 2. This game is super simple and most trophies unlock on the way to beating stage 3. The only trophies I had left after beating stage 3, was getting 50k points and starting a new game on hard difficulty. Getting 50k was super easy once I beat stage 3 because I understood the mechanics pretty well by then. You can get 50k half through stage 2 if you don't mess up your chain (don't miss any hearts/don't die). For the hardest difficulty trophy, you only need to start a new game and it gives you the trophy immediately. It should be pretty obvious that this platinum is insanely easy given I did it in 13 minutes.
Popular Post voodoo_eyes
#366 - Blazblue Cross Tag Battle Was fun for the most part. Story mode was the weakest I've seen in a fighting game though. 4 different stories that boil down to being the same. The tutorial on the other hand felt fairly good for the average fighting game. Has some interesting mechanics that are pretty neat. The online is in general fighting game fashion abysmal. So many network errors, no matter if the connection is stable or not. A lot of characters (18 I think) are gated behind DLC though, which is a bit of a bummer, as that's like half of the potential cast. A thanks to @Han_the_Dragon and @BushidoHub3 for boosting the online bit. Enjoyment: 7 Difficulty: 4
Popular Post SeedersPhD
#91 - Mortal Kombat 11 Fantastic title with an excellent story (well, excellent for what MK fans want out of an MK story), plenty of side-modes and kustomization, the best gameplay in the franchise, a pretty stacked kharacter roster, the first time the series has ever had good facial animations, and no harmful microtransactions (there are only the time crystals, which the game throws at you like a horny drunk at a strip klub). The only trophies that were annoying were unlocking five kharacter victories (which you have to either reach stage 3 of the kharacter tower or get a kharacter's severed head for the krypt) and kompleting 250 Towers of Time. I highly recommend this game. Time to platinum: 20-30 hours Enjoyment: 9.5/10 Grind Annoyance: 3/10 Best Girl: Frost
StilRh
#142 Super weekend mode. Wanted something for a quick play on the commute. Pretty fun, simple game. I wouldn't have minded if they made you play deeper into the game before the plat. Fun 5/10, difficulty 1/10. Time 15 minutes? #143 Metagal. Nice megaman style game, again would have played deeper (and I did play after getting it) for the plat trophy. Fun 6/10. difficulty 2/10. Time 20 minutes for plat but there's probably a few hours content to go.

Popular Post Eramir
Platinum #48: Crash Bandicoot 2: Cortex Strikes Back After the plat of Crash 3, I was still in a flow and wanted more, hence this platinum. This game is definitely harder than the third. Had a couple of rage moments, but it felt really good beating the hard levels. It turns out that the crash plats aren't as impossible as I thought. I am definitely going to try to plat the first game, but maybe not right away. We'll see..
Popular Post DarkSoleride
Platinum No: 114 The Legend of the X.R.C Date Achieved: 20/05/2019 Format: PS Vita Time Taken: 60hrs / PSNP 6 Months Difficulty 5/10 Enjoyment 6/10 Recommended: No Well here I am again with another Falcom platinum in the bag this is one I actually started before being introduced to the Legend of Heroes series. Tokyo Xanadu is probably my least favourite game from Falcom but not a terrible one at all. The game plays very similar to Persona 4 Golden in its dungeon layouts but then instead of turn-based its constantly action RPG all the way through so no transition screens between walking around and battling. Its a weird mix of Trails in terms of the characters (all more or less spitting images of Class VII) but gameplay-wise plays like a Action RPG version of Persona 4. The story I vaguely remember which is in an alternate reality Tokyo is hit by an earthquake in the year 2015 this bloke called You is a school student living in the town named Morimiya just outside of Tokyo. Gets sucked into some vortex that takes him to this place a nightmare realm called Eclipse. After trying to break up what looks to be suggesting a mugging of his friend Asuka who is a member of this organisation called Nemesis that try to seal these “Eclipses” for good. Eventually you meet some people get some cool weapons and do just that. The story I thought was average nothing impressive but nothing boring either just sort of “okay” which I think Kotaku was going with their review of the game. I was playing the PS Vita version not sure if he PS4 version adds anything new but I can’t image its far from this. I took a long break from this game due to it getting really repetitive, really quickly. The platinum I am happy to have and was gratifying to get but would I recommend this game? No I would not unless you are looking for a Persona 4 clone and you actually finished Persona 4 then okay if you want that style of game sure, otherwise I would not recommend it. It is not Falcoms strongest at all. thanks to @Jelloycat for his excellent trophy guide and overall walkthrough to help me get this game off my PS Vita backlog! Popular Post malushky
#7 Overcooked 2 Master Chef Earned this playing the game with my girlfriend, was an absolute pleasure from start to finish. The only trophy I did on my own was Bangers and Trash which required binning 99 items. Did not unlock naturally as we did not use the bin too often, so I spent like a minute binning stuff on my own. Could not recommend the game more for those who enjoy local coop, it might be just the best game out there for that. Keep in mind though that the 'ruined friendships and relationships' comments are not entirely exaggerating, it tests your communication skills and patience towards each other pretty heavily. Time to 100% the DLCs! Overall: 8/10 And a cool platinum image IMO.
Popular Post IntroPhenom
Platinum #45 (PS4) Word Search by POWGI Howl to the Chief Current rarity: 44.41% Personal Difficulty: 1/10 Enjoyment: 9/10 A rare complaint is one about too much content in a game, but darn if this one didn't have too many puzzles! Thank goodness for the often funny puns and the occasional joke that had me laughing out loud, or the grind would have been memorable. Aside from all that, I love word games of all kinds, and this one is no exception. Most of the other POWGI games are in my backlog, and I look forward to them playing around with them all. Favorite joke: What does a pirate say when he turns 80? Spoiler Aye, matey!

Popular Post Katt
Tokyo Xanadu eX+ The Legend of the X.R.C. Obtain all trophies. Falcom did it again: deliver a cool story with tons of mistery and great plot. Ahhhh the music... the music... When you play a Falcom game, you must have high expectation on the soundtrack. At first it was really normal music. But when the battle started, OOF... (here, another one) and yeah, the boss battle (1:24)! And let's not forget the After Story that it's basically the TRUE true ending. Just listen this (and don't read comments to avoid spoilers, really, the spoilers here are PRETTY heavy). And the last one, UUUMMMMFFFF.... Now I'll be very critic with the localization work: it sucks. Seriously, what the hell was that about? the amount of ball jokes is insane. It seemed like it was a work of teenager that tried to be a clown in a serious matter. They gave Shio the look of a chauvinist. And then in the After Story, Kou goes for that way too. If this game had had english voices, I can't imagine the result. But thanks to my little knowledge in japanese, I know what they really said in those lines. And now, the important: Tokyo Xanadu 2 when?

Popular Post Masamune
Platinum Awarded for successfully collecting all trophies from X-Blades Difficulty: 4.5/10 Enjoyment: 6.7/10 Playtime: N/A (2 days, 5 hours, 34 minutes) The game was okay, but it was far from perfect... the controls can seem a little clunky at times, & even something as simple as double jumping requires a bit of timing (or just mash ). There's not much of a story either (or even dialogue), you don't even know much about the MC besides "she's a treasure hunter". ? Difficulty wise, it's not too bad... but the Pro run can be a bit irritating before you unlock health regeneration, even with the armor you get for beating the game, enemies can still kill you pretty quick if you're not careful. In the end, it wasn't as horrible as some people say, but nothing really stands out in it either. At least I got to finish it off by popping 7 trophies all at once, that's always fun.

Popular Post Charizarzar
#114: Rocket League Virtuoso Difficulty: 2/10 Enjoyment: 8/10 When I first heard about this I didn't really understand the hype about football with cars, but I see now what people mean, this game really is a blast! Especially the more chaotic modes like 4x4, Dropshot and Rumble. Could see myself keeping this one installed just to play a few games now and then. Trophy-wise it's really easy. So many trophies popped after my first match that I thought I'd done something wrong. Definitely a memorable plat even though it can be platted and completed very quickly, which is kind of crazy given the number of DLCs. ? Even if you're not a huge fan of driving games I'd recommend this one.

Popular Post Gommes_
#99 Vanquish This game was a bitch. Don't get me wrong, gameplay wise this one is awesome. Fast paced action, great shooting mechanics and an overall amazing style make this a really good game. Getting the platinum however can be the deal breaker for many. I heard from this game when I started trophy hunting and it always had this special reputation to it due to its difficulty. Before I hit my hundredth platinum I wanted to do one last brutal achievement. And that's what I got Challenge 6 from Vanquish kicks your ass so many times! At first I thought that it's just a matter of time and that the real difficulty lies in the general structure and the amount of enemies of the mission but the more I tried I figured that it's actually persistence which makes this one so difficult. There are many moments where you think you can make it and then something unforeseen happens. Sure, skill plays the biggest role in that challenge but it's the lack of luck that will drive you insane during the last wave. I still don't know if Vanquish is my hardest plat but it is definitely up there with the big ones. Anyway, I am glad to have this in my collection. I will take a little break now and finish my last platinum in some weeks. Btw. thanks to the people sharing their tips in the old Vanquish thread. It sure helped reading about your experiences. ? Popular Post AK-1138
Platinum #269: Wailing Heights Difficulty: 2/10 Enjoyment: 7.2/10 Playtime: 3 hours, 30 minutes Fun little retro adventure game here. Lots of clever writing, bunch of funny UK accents, and other charming--and sometimes awkward--idiosyncrasies. A little rough around the edges in terms of polish, and I could definitely have done with a larger game world with less backtracking, but the game's not really long enough for it to matter too much. Didn't hurt that the trophy list was solid gold either, guvnor. Recommended.
Popular Post DF007gamer
DARK SOULS: REMASTERED The Dark Soul PLATINUM #152 DIFFICULTY - 6/10 ENJOYMENT - 10/10 PLAY RARITY - 27.13% HOURS PLAYED - 110 Man where do I start. I took my sweet time in the beginning of the game running around and learning all the short cuts and enemy types as I do with most of my games. I instantly fell in love with the game. I mean I really don't care about graphics as this is an oldish game from the ps3 era but there's something about Dark Souls that sticks with you long after the platinum. I found myself going on youtube to learn more about the DS lore more then I've done with any other game. I've started with DS2 and for me personally I don't get the backlash it's received from the DS community because I'm enjoying that too. For any that is afraid to start the DS series don't be. Gamers that say that it's "too hard" are the same gamers that want to rush through a game with a level 10 character without upgrading any RPG elements. It doesn't work like that. Just take your time and enjoy dying (Yes enjoy dying) and learning from your mistakes. Yes you die alot in the beginning but once it clicks there's no stopping you from kicking ass. I actually enjoyed the part of helping other online gamers from getting through rough areas where I'd struggled. It's satisfying. Anyways let me get back to my DS2 plat (this is taking slightly longer then DS1 but I'm loving it) Here's hoping you find the nearest BONFIRE
Popular Post Captain_Bone_666
Platinum #49 -Days Gone One Percenter Go above and BEYOND, unlocking every trophy in Days Gone Another easy platinum, alas one that takes a while. For me, the game started slow and after the first 1 or 2 hours I was disappointed. But after that it became more and more fun and I started to enjoy it very much. I am kinda sad that it ended and am now hoping for some decent DLCs. I very much liked that there were no multiplayer trophies and no missable trophies. The tracking of the trophies was also pretty convient as it has an integrated tracking for all trophies. Next platinum one will be #50! And it will be Rayman Legends, the grind for "Truly awesome!" will end soon :-) !! Edited May 21, 2019 by Captain_Bone_666
