Popular Post Sergen
Operation7 Revolution: Platinum #134 Difficulty: 1/10 Time Taken: 20 hours Yet another game I have started and finished in anticipation for a server shutdown. This game has been announced by the developers to shut down on September 16th, 2019. This game was horrendously made and a cheap rip off of Counter Strike. I can't say I enjoyed this game at all, but it was just a small grind with a big haul of ultra rare trophies to earn. I expect this platinum to lose a lot of its rarity from the trophies in the coming months, since people will start and finish this game due to the simplicity of it. The whole game is online only and free to play and only available on Asian PSN Stores, but luckily any account from any region can use the servers and get the platinum. The game has broken English descriptions for trophies, with such notable examples like "kill while peerless", which actually translates to "kill while your respawn shield is still active", they definitely ran the trophy list through Google translate to get the English translations for some of the descriptions. The most people required for trophies is 4 people, then the rest can be done with 2, I have 2 PS4s and so does my good friend Aexzia who did this game with me. I am the 2nd fastest achiever, but since the last 3 games I've been doing include Aexzia's participation it was only fair for my good friend to get the fastest time this time around and we waited until we could get the platinum at the same time so it was guaranteed. When we did Starblood I got the fastest time there so the last two games we've done together, one of us has been the fastest achiever. I probably wouldn't have started the game if Aexzia wasn't doing it with me, so I'm glad we got around to it . The game certainly ran out of ideas for trophies to put, but they needed to make up the point limit for their game to have a platinum, so a lot of the trophies will require you to die in the same way that you earned a kill, such as a trophy for killing someone else while you are affected by a flash bang, then a trophy for getting killed while you are affected by a flash bang. It is certainly the only game I've played where I had to grind out dying 1000 times after doing everything else on the game. This was a good break away from Elder Scrolls Online, which has currently consumed over 450 hours of my time over these past 2 months, playing the same game that much can be tiring, but I'm happy to have breaks now and again and get more trophies for different games. The developers of Operation7 say they'll return with a better game, hopefully the "better game" has 40 ultra rare trophies on it again . I also have to give credit where it's due to the Platinum Walkthrough, which explains ways to combine various types of trophies on the game to reduce the time taken to earn the platinum, it was simple to follow and a must have for anyone wanting to get the platinum in times of server shutdown. Popular Post Melty
#36: BULLET GIRLS バレットガールズ 全てのトロフィーを獲得する This game was relatively short and fun. Mai was best girl. My last trophy for the plat was "God of Fondling" lmao. I had to just sit there tapping a girls chest 1000 times. This game is like the gun version of Senran Kagura so if you like Senran you should check this out.
Popular Post Jiano_Vera
Platinum 92: Max Payne 3 Ohhhh man this one was a doozy! Never thought I’d go for this plat considering it’s requirements, but I bought it on sale and just went for it. Gameplay-wise, I had to adjust to it, it felt slightly clunky compared to other titles in the genre; however once you get used to bullet time, shooting feels amazing! Platinum-wise, the game asks a lot from you, but after you beat it 5+ times on all the harder difficulties, New York Minute Hardcore is not tooooo bad, just be ready to devote around 3.5 hours if you’re successful. On my fifth attempt I died at the last chapter, last fight and it was frustrating to say the least. Finally got it on my 8th attempt though after a little perseverance. If you want to test your skills, or if you like third-person shooters, I’d recommend this one. Cheers! Popular Post KevlarPrime
#47: Magicka 2 You Are The Special Get all other Trophies. Difficulty: 6/10 Enjoyment: 8/10 I was pleasantly surprised by this game. Took me some time, but it was a good way to start getting back to RPGs this year. The game’s campaign was pretty short, and there wasn’t much stuff to do once you finish the single player aside from going after the trophies. Cooperative mode is the prominent feature on this game, and I had plenty of fun playing this with random people.
Popular Post madbuk
#317 - LEGO Star Wars III: The Clone Wars Definitely one of the weaker LEGO games. The LEGO Star Wars aesthetic never really interested me in 1 or 2 so maybe I'm a bit biased, but even in those games the gameplay made up for the rather bland design. Here, there are some okay levels, but for every good level there are about 5 terrible tower defense or space levels so overall it's quite bad. Space levels may not have been so bad if the ships had controlled better. They're so floaty and trying to shoot down a target is annoying because your ship drifts off even if you aren't moving the stick. Tower defense though... those levels just dragged on way too long and the gameplay loop of them wasn't interesting at all. There were also way too many. idk which LEGO game I'll do next, I have a few options, but whatever it is I hope it's more interesting and not filled with bad gimmick levels. On the bright side I've never really been a fan of the open world in LEGO games, and this didn't have one, so that's a plus.
Popular Post Dokusha
#96: Our World Is Ended (I smudged the secret ending's character name to prevent spoilerz) Oh boy. This was definitely a game that challenged my expectations several times, and I mean that in a good way. I expected a sleazy Steins;Gate clone with the fanservice cranked up, but what I got instead was a visual novel that's clearly inspired by Steins;Gate but does enough stuff of its own that I cannot in good conscience call it a clone. Yes, it's full of lewd dialogue - lots and lots of talk about breasts and bananas and the like - but ultimately it comes across as a colourful, confident story about a group of deeply flawed, eccentric people slowly coming to grips with their personal weaknesses whilst bumbling around in a terrifyingly realistic virtual reality world. You play as Reiji Misaki, otherwise known as Reiji Gozen ("Midnight Reiji") because his boss liked to read his name's kanji that way. He's the Only Sane Man in a game development company - Judgement 7 - that's otherwise staffed by people too eccentric to function properly in society. They're a popular target for bashing on "subchan" (a stand-in for 2chan, obviously) because their games tend to be rather godawful. Not ones to be discouraged, however, Judgement 7 goes ahead and plans to develop a new game based around experimental AR goggles, but the goggles start glitching during trial runs, one thing leads to another, and soon the company finds itself stuck in a virtual reality... To say more about the story would involve spoilers, so I won't. What I can say is that I found it a very solid story - surprisingly so - and I'd genuinely come to care for the bizarre Judgement 7 people. Whilst this game doesn't quite reach the heights of VN genre titans such as 428: Shibuya Scramble, Muv-Luv, Utawarerumono or the aforementioned Steins;Gate, I'd still happily vouch for its quality! That being said, even though the English localisation is perfectly pleasant and understandable... it's clear that publisher PQube - as much as I love them - is in desperate need of a more thorough editor: the amount of typos, missing punctuation and minor grammar issues is hard to ignore. It's not immersion-ruining, nor does it come close to being Engrish, but... it's a bit sloppy, nonetheless. Since this is a visual novel, the trophies aren't hard at all. Most of the game's content simply involves clearing the common route, and the requirements for the individual character endings are all quite straightforward. All in all, a most satisfying trophy quest that has now come to an end! Edited May 30, 2019 by Isilith

Story, characters, music, gameplay, everything is amazing. SE should let Yoko Taro direct the next Final Fantasy. Who knows, he might save the franchise. I kept this gem for sometime in my backlog but i'm happy it is now my 150th platinum milestone.
Popular Post Viscera1900
#218 - Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Trilogy ACE Attorney Trilogy "Get every trophy." Enjoyment: 10/10 Difficulty: 1.5/10 My first time playing these Phoenix Wright games. I must say I absolutely enjoyed playing these games. I know I could've skipped the dialogues and everything for a quick platinum trophy, but I refused to do that and so it took me a month and half to finish this trophy list.(Took breaks between games). After completing this trilogy; it made wanting to play more of these Ace Attorney games. Hopefully Capcom is going to port and release Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney, Phoenix Wright: Dual Destinies and Phoenix Wright: Spirit of Justice on PS4! OBJECTION!!!!!

Popular Post Stormverse
Pretty good game, if a bit short. The enemies could have used some variety. The OST is fantastic, but Gust games always have good soundtracks so I was expecting that already.
Popular Post Redgrave
#151: Ace Attorney Trilogy - Phoenix Wright This is one of those games I've wanted to play but couldn't since I didn't have a DS or 3DS but I'm really glad I got to play it now that it got ported over to PlayStation. Really good series with clever writing (as well as tons of puns ) and the cases were very well written so it definitely lives up to its reputation. It would be nice if we got the later games as well.
Popular Post Ghost
ONRUSH Platinum difficulty rating - 4/10 Enjoyment - 7/10 Not bad. Fun at first but got boring towards the end of the platinum goal. I did everything solo so it took a few attempts to complete the challenges. The hardest challenge was getting 12 takedowns in a match.

Popular Post voodoo_eyes
#368 - Noir Chronicles: City if Crime Back to my guilty pleasure games of the hidden object variety. Ever since ARtifex tried to implement more "realistic" character moement, the games have become worse. THe animations and lip sync are horrible. Presentation of the story in this one was also pretty weak. This one felt a tad lazy as well. While there are a lot of "hops", the only other sort of puzzle seemed to be an annozing knot puzzle. Hoping that Nightmares from the Deep 3 and Enigmatis 3 are better. Enjoyment: 6 Difficulty: 2

Popular Post CalicoReidso
My Platinums completed for April & May 2019: April #131 Storm Boy (EU) Play the NA version last month, Just wanted to get the stackable. #132 Conan Exiles Used the Admin panel to get rid of it quicker, I'm glad I got it as PS+ free game. #133 Monster Jam: Battlegrounds Really fun game, but controlling the monster truck can be annoying, very easy for it to flip over upside down and stick there, happened to me a lot of times, glad it's over. #134 The Testament of Sherlock Holmes (EU) Very interesting storyline, very clunky controls, first person view only good for in-depth observation. May #135 & #136 AER: Memories Of Old (EU & NA) For me, Hide and Seek Trophy was unlock by using.... I was in the mood to play a JRPG with a relativity short plat and this one came to mind since I've been sitting on it for a while. The story wasn't all that interesting, but I enjoyed the gameplay, even if it did get kind of repetitive. It was fun trying to build a good team of familiars. The platinum was on the grindy side, but nothing too extreme. I believe this is the first game developed by Gust I've played, and I must say, the art was really gorgeous. Definitely one of the stand out parts of this game for me. I really need to play some of the Atelier games soon... I still need to finish this game thanks for the motivation i just wish there was cross-save with the JP Vita version lol Congrats on your platinum man!
Popular Post aiccChaos
#212 Flame Over God dammit, that was hot... The Platinum rarity of 0.77 is truly comprehensible. You need a little bit of skill and a tremendous amount of luck for that perfect run. I completed in two days but I needed over 20 attempts to save everyone without getting downed by the fire. On my second run everything was perfect.. but I forgot to rescue one cat... Enjoyment: 8/10 Difficulty: 9/10 Luckfactor: 20/10
