Popular Post Jiano_Vera
Platinum 93: Mortal Kombat 11 I thought this was a good game, by far the easiest Mortal Kombat game to platinum. The story was not as good as past entries, and it felt like the characters had a little less personality than MKX (For example, Cassie Cage doesn’t have the same kind of snarkiness than before) NRS definitely did a good job in changing up the meter system and added more defensive options therefore expanding on the metagame. I’m glad they took away the run feature from MKX because you would constantly be rushed down by pressure characters, here in MK11 it is slower paced, allowing for a more methodical approach. I really enjoyed playing 50 casual online matches because it reminded me of when I used to play MK9 back in the day. I don’t have the time I used to back then so I don’t see myself dedicating hours to “get good” and enter tournaments, well that and there’s no Character Mastery trophies haha! I’d also much rather spend my time hunting trophies than playing MK11 competitively . Overall, I enjoyed this more than MKX, and it’s definitely a solid fighting game experience! Popular Post AJ_Radio
Going to skim through these next few since I don't think too many people care about what I did over a month ago, mostly the most recent game I've completed. But... I do want to cover them, albeit quickly. Platinum #193: Bastion (April 22nd, 2019) Difficulty: 6/10 Excitement Rating: 8/10 Estimated Time to Platinum: 10 - 11 Hours Hardest Trophy: About the Author (Complete the Stranger's Dream with all ten Shrine Idols invoked) Fun game from Supergiant Games. Didn't quite enjoy this as much as Transistor. The setting and the characters didn't appeal to me as much in Bastion, although the world itself is quite interesting. The story was alright and the gameplay was somewhat decent. Controls were responsive. Bastion was a fairly short game for me even with two playthroughs (one Score Attack playthrough). Invoking all 10 Shrines and playing through most dreams is the most difficult portion of the platinum. I basically struggled in the early going until I did some research and found that the Mortar was the all around best weapon to use. The last dream was still difficult because of how lengthy it was. The game has the same sort of trophy list as Transistor. Both have trophies involving penalizing the player and benefiting the enemy AI, in this case it is Shrines. Thankfully they are not needed at all for the story, just the dream sequences that you have to partake in. Bastion is a good game if you want something more than simple platformers and Metroidvanias. While it is a little old by now, it's still worth experiencing and playing if you are into the indie game market. It's definitely not a bad purchase. Platinum #194: Titan Souls (April 28th, 2019) Difficulty: 9/10 Excitement Rating: 7/10 Estimated Time to Platinum: 16 - 18 Hours Hardest Trophy: Iron Titan (Beat the game in Iron Mode with Hard Mode active) Definitely one of the more difficult games I've done, and easily one of the more aggravating. The story is rather abstract and it doesn't quite make a lot of sense if you're into traditional storytelling such as God of War and Spider-Man. Controls are good and the graphics, while not overly impressive, get the job done. Titan Souls all comes down to skill and you are going to need skill for the platinum. I ended up playing this game at least four times through because of the trophies involved. I have died over 700 times going for the platinum and I expect the average player to die that many times on their runs. Some of the Titans are not easy and others are just annoying to deal with. No Roll Mode was most certainly the most aggravating playthrough because of the lack of rolling and running, making a few Titans a real pain in the ass. The last two titans you need to beat in order to finish the game are extremely annoying and frustrating in No Roll Mode, because there is a very specific movement pattern you have to follow if you don't want to get killed. The last boss was infuriating until I looked for some help on Google search and found that he mimics your movements, mirrored. I still ended up spending 30 - 40 minutes before I finally killed him on No Roll Mode. Iron Mode adds more salt to the wound because one death means you start from the very beginning. Which means.... lots of cloud saving and USB stick transferring. I died around 100 - 200 times on Iron Mode alone, and doing the Hard Iron Mode added even more deaths to the counter. At this point I knew what to expect from all the titans, but all it takes is one mistake and you're dead. More cloud saving and downloading. Titan Souls is a bit of a unique game. The soundtrack is soothing and good quality. This is definitely one of the more varied indie games you will find on PSN. I had a lot of frustration with this game, but it was ultimately rewarding and seeing that platinum trophy pop was extremely satisfying. This is definitely a challenge that is hugely dependent on skill. Titan Souls is overall a good game, if you don't mind taking punishment then I recommend picking it up. Platinums #195 - #196: Saints Row IV & Saints Row IV: Re-elected (May 8th, 2019 - May 20th, 2019) Difficulty: 3/10 Excitement Rating: 7.5/10 Estimated Time to Platinum: 40+ Hours Each Hardest Trophy: Fourth and Forty (Spend over 40 hours in the Simulation) A fun open world sandbox. I bought both versions because I thought the online servers were going to close, making one online trophy unobtainable. Turns out there is a workaround, though it takes a bit of setup and I'm glad I don't have to use it. Saints Row IV continues where Saints Row: The Third left off. An alien race prepares to destroy Earth and enslave humanity for all eternity. You are President of the United States, though that is short lived. Upon your initial encounter with the alien race and it's leader Zinyak, you soon find yourself inside a 1950s era sitcom. You find that all of your Saints are missing, and with the help of Kinzie, you slowly rebuild your force of Saints to enact vengeance on Zinyak. Saints Row IV is even goofier and wackier than it's predecessor. The game uses much of the same from the previous title, including the same game engine. This time around you have access to superpowers, which make trans versing the city of Steelport that much more fun and thrilling. There is plenty of humor in the game. There are many pop culture references, including a Streets of Rage beat-em-up and even references to past games. Much of the game unfortunately is composed of side quests, which are the same activities over and over. There are nine Saints you have to do side missions for, which eventually give you favor and enable the Saints themselves to have superpowers like you. A few activities, such as the Genki Bowl, were quite fun. I did both stacks one after another and both times I had to leave my consoles running for the Fourth and Forty trophy. I did everything in around 25 - 30 hours including both DLC packs, so I ended up have to idle for quite a long time. While not bad games, I was glad to get these done. Saints Row IV nowadays is very cheap to buy, so if you want an open world game with a sense of humor, this wouldn't be a bad game to get. Popular Post DamagingRob
#399- Jak X: Combat Racing King of the Road Unlock all trophies. There is only one good game in this series, and it sure as hell isn't this one. The rest should be placed in an underground vault, never to see the light of day. Anytime you manage to get in first place, the A.I. will magically get every kind of powerup to blast you out of it. It's actually better to hang back, and try to pass them near the end (keeping a shield powerup for this moment helps immensely). But sometimes, catching up to them is impossible.. But they can sure ride your ass every second of every race. Remove the actual races, and it would be an all right game. The other types of events were not nearly as aggravating. Winning every race isn't necessary to beat the game, though. Another example of trophies making something harder than it needs to be.. Platinum image: Spoiler Hooray, a black screen for a terrible game. ?
DiegoMolinams
#98 - Lego Avengers Peace In Our Time It took me way longer than expected. This is my 4th or 5th Lego platinum, when I played a couple of levels I was like "omg what have I gotten myself into", it was so boring that I was avoiding playing it. The last couple of days I went all in though because I wanted to finish it asap. I think this is my last Lego game, they have good humor and all but the gameplay and grind are too boring to keep me interested.
Popular Post Leon Castle
#143 Tales of Vesperia: Definitive Edition 8th Jun 2019 At first I wanted to get a Xbox 360 to play this game(That version has less stuff then the Japan only PS3 version). I liked this tales of a lot(I ultra rarely dislike Tales of games), While Yuri is the common swordsman MC like most Tales of games have, he was different from the other swordsmen MCs as he's not a goodie two-shoes type. my Favorite ost was "Fury Sparks" and "Undying Resolve" the Tales of Waifus in this one was Judith and Rita (I watched the prequel movie before starting the game) Edited June 8, 2019 by Leon Castle

Popular Post Stormverse
Picked it up in the recent sale. It has been a very long time since I played the original, back on the 360. The PS4 version has a great framerate which is one of the most important things to me. I haven't really delved into the DLC content too much yet except for armory, though I'm dreading Moxxi's because I remember how annoying that was back when I did it.

Popular Post Eyjabria
Minit (PS4) LEGEND UNLOCK ALL OTHER TROPHIES Minit throws you into a strange adventure where you have 60 seconds to explore before you die and are reborn in your home. In this time you need to carry out tasks such as find an item that will help you advance in the game. An NPC tells you to hurry and go to the factory, but what is this factory and where is it? You need to find out how to get there and how to get rid of your 60 second curse. The gameplay was solid and fun even though I was worried about groundhog day type repetition. The game advances fast because the tasks are very quick to achieve so you never have to repeat long sessions of gameplay. There are fun discoveries to be made and the game rewards you with different ending screens for each game mode. The visual style is quite charming with minimalistic black and white pixel graphics and I liked the retroish music too. Minit is a very short game but it felt complete. My first playthrough without a guide took only 130 minutes. The "Second Run" game mode challenges you by reducing your available time to 40 seconds per run. The collectibles you need for platinum are easy to find with the great trophy guide here on PSNProfiles and completing the game in under 25 runs was easily achieved using "Mary's Mode" which removes the time limits completely. Minit was a very pleasant experience and I got my money's worth regardless the game's short length.

Popular Post Slava
#6 - RATCHET & CLANK: A CRACK IN TIME The Lombax Triumphant A fun game and a good platinum. A Crack in Time is now my 2nd favourite Ratchet & Clank game behind R&C 3. It feels like they had learned a lot after Tools of Destruction and slightly improved in every aspect which is enough for it to be great. This game has a better story, better gameplay mechanics, more places to explore. I liked the jokes and referenses, the Clank levels, the new weapons. And overall just enjoyed my time with the game. One thing to point out about the trophy list - you have to beat the game on hard and do a Challenge Mode playthrough which are two different things. It means that if you start your first playthrough on medium difficulty you have to beat the game 3 times. I didn't read the guide (it says it is recommended to start on hard), so i had to do exactly that. Still had fun all three times, though. And you can complete the Challenge Mode in about 6 hours. Next up: Ratchet & Clank: Nexus. Edited June 9, 2019 by Alderriz

Popular Post TraumaticChain6
#54: The Book of Unwritten Tales 2 (ps4) Difficulty: 2/10 Enjoyment: 8/10 Rarity: 31,21% Before you play this game I recommend to play the first one to have a better experience. I could follow the story but their are a lot of references to the first one. I enjoyed this game, the backgrounds look fantastic, the OST is great and their are a lot of lovable characters. I also laughed at a few jokes and references to other games and movies. I felt accomplished after most of the puzzles although they are not very hard. The hidden trophies are also easy to know how to unlock them. The biggest flaw of this game is that the pacing in the beginning is really slow. The game is split in 4 characters and at the start of the game their is constantly switching between them. That makes their stories hard to connect. But when everything starts connecting the story get interesting in my opinion. Till the middle of the game your also at the same few scenes and that gets old really fast. Their are also two really stupid puzzles. One is starting a machine but it's just trail and error and the other is an optional, but still needed for the platinum, puzzle where you need to navigate a dark labyrinth with sound cues where the music is to loud to hear something. You can also not restart the labyrinth and the auto saves screws you over so many times in that puzzle. I would recommend to play this game with all it's flaws but only after you've played Grim Fandango on the PS4.

Popular Post Maxximum
#30 Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas (PS3) The Key to San Andreas Unlock all trophies. A classic from Rockstar. I first played it on PS2, but don't remember making a lot of progress as I was pretty much invested in the cheats, same thing on PC. I eventually managed to finish the story, courtesy of "BAGUVIX" & "HESOYAM" mostly (if you know what I mean ). Glad to make this a milestone since I'm a fan of the Grand Theft Auto series all together and this one is amazingly reminiscent of the blast I had in the past. I beat this game legitimately, no cheats, and I'm so proud of myself for that. It wasn't too hard after all. Not sure if I can go through the PS4 version again, but I assume that's the original port of PS2 and I admit that this PS3 version rocks. I would like to play Vice City and III, though. So many memorable elements and easily picked up memes from San Andreas. The logic is quite hilarious, though, such as the one where you order your food from any restaurant and eat it up right at that spot, and not at the seats. Big Smoke brought the energy and made the atmosphere alive. His order during the "Drive-By" mission and his famous quote line "All you had to do, was follow the damn train, CJ!" Ryder was the real voice of the voiceless, bugging poor old Carl with his driving skills, being nothing but a busta. I enjoyed having to chase him with the boat and kill him in the "Pier 69" mission, only to have Cesar call and say he watched us using binoculars (no binocular can see nor visualize that far, lol). The list goes on, I'll never finish. One thing you can catch up with, though, is the fact that this game is flooded with 69s everywhere (Area 69, the mission "Pier 69", the San Fierro Airport runway "69", and many more). I'll be looking up for some easter eggs and secrets on YouTube whenever I have the free time. I remember reading somewhere in the status updates that "Do not confuse fun for nostalgia!" - That is kinda true. The gameplay felt strange, but I still had fun regardless.
Popular Post FinalFan
#84 Road Redemption (PS4) -4% PSNP (-1% ALL): Ultra Rare. Started this one just after the disappointing Road Rage, a quick, easy and (nearly) forgettable . But fortunately, Road Redemption is what I wanted, an authentic tribute to Road Rash (I lost all millenials here ?) a series that disappeared too many years ago just after trying to switch to 3D in early 2000's on PS1. Another great kill by EA ? While the game is not perfect (I mean annoying, nearly fatal bugs can occur), you can notice the devs did their best to recreate what made Road Rash unique while adding some fresh blood (should I say gaz? ?). The game can be unfair and frustrating at times, especially when you're learning it, but it's still very addictive. The campaign itself can be short (-1 hour), but it's still challenging because there are +15 riders with special rules (or handicap) for most of them. You have to deal with it and try your best to survive and beat the game! If you never heard of this game before (no physical release, PS store only) and you're old enough to be nostalgic of Road Rash, then just buy and play this one! ?

Popular Post Dragon-Archon
#203: Fallen Legion Flames of Rebellion The story is a bit confusing at first, because there are a few events that are revealed later on. In this game players assume the role of Laendur, a general in the Fenumia army. There's a lot of lore to be read in the History section that gives background information about terms and names. The emperor has passed away and his daughter, Cecile, is next in line to inherit the throne. Due to some events Laendur decides to become emperor too and part of the story revolves around his motives and reasons, which even he confesses might not be solely righteous. There's another game (Fallen Legion Sins of the Empire) where players see Cecile's side of the story, meaning most of her motives and events are unknown. At some points during the story Laendur and Cecile cross paths, but 95% of the story is separate. The combat was a lot of fun during the first 1-1.5 playthroughs, but became very repetitive afterwards. Laendur can summon 3 Exemplars (physical embodiment of legendary weapons) to fight for him, while Laendur himself uses magic (healing, revive, offensive, and buffs). He can only equip 3 spells at a time and only use 3 Exemplars in battle. Examplars evolve into a Chaos form and Order form, which greatly boosts their stats and unlocks new passive abilities. From the second playthrough on it's possible to have both a Chaos and an Order form of the same Examplar in the party. During the levels, players need to make choices that permanently affect morale and how events unfold. This is also how optional bosses and levels are unlocked. Some of these unlock new ultimate attacks for Exemplars.
