Popular Post IzTriicky__
#56- Nex Machina Yay!!! My first Ultra Rare Platinum! After not playing it in over a year, decided to pick it back up for the Summer Backlog Challenge and i'm glad I did. Very fun to play. The only thing I had difficulty with is the Veteran run on Arcade mode thanks to the Architect boss but other than that, it wasn't too bad. Kinda makes me want to go and try to get the plat on Resogun now lol. HouseMarque definitely made a great game and if you haven't played this, I would give it a try!

Popular Post RuNNinG-sCaRe_D
#118 - Midnight Deluxe Short and easy... #119 - Assassin's Creed: Syndicate As the other titles from this series: easy, repetitive and many collectibles... I only played to a 85%-synchronization, because it got too boring for me. For the most collectibles you can buy maps ingame. But for the "secrets" (Godlike-trophy) you need a collectible guide or you can buy a map with real money (lol) from Ubi-Store Story was ok. #119 - Assassin's Creed: Syndicate - Jack the Ripper Liked that DLC. It introduces a "fear-system". You are able to frighten the enemies with a qte or gadgets, what shortens the fights. Panicked enemies will run away.

Popular Post Captain_Bone_666
#50 - Platinum: Rayman Legends Legendary Win all trophies in the game! I am not a genius at platformers, but I still enjoy playing them and I really like Rayman. But making the online challenges a daily routine to get this trophy made me doubt my sanity. Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed the challenges, but doing this for several months just because you can only do two challenges per day (plus two per week)? I made this my number 50 platinum and it was supposed to be a real milestone. I am happy to have it, but to be honest I do not feel a real sense of accomplishment. I mean, this is not difficult. It just takes a very long time to get it (at least if you are not good enough for those diamond cups). So if you have completionist tendencies, be sure you know what you are up to before you start this.? But on the other hand, for me, it killed any completionist thinking I might have had. That's a good thing! I will now happily jump into any game that comes my way, ignoring trophies and statistics and just focus on them in the games were I really really want to earn them. To each his own, but I am already feeling better.?
Popular Post MakotoKaCun
Platinum # 75 God Eater 3 It All Comes Together Finally Finish God Eater 3. Is much simple that the previous God eater and not as broken as the previous. Like you die again after being revive. I like the new weapon and how is very fun. I enjoy the gameplay alot. God eater 3 also have limit to how much custom bullet you can bring per fight, so that also something i dislike. Their also have less aragami compare to the previous so that kinda sad. Anyway i enjoy the game nice to play with friends~~~~
Popular Post sephiroth4424
#153 Final Fantasy XV The World Wanderer Enjoyment: 4/10 Difficulty: 4/10 Now that i finally completed it, all i can say is that i am disappointed. It had interesting characters, a so-so story which from one point became an unnecessary forced drama and the worst story-telling i've seen in a game. Almost everything happens off-screen and you are traversing through the main game without understanding fully what's going on. The game doesn't have dlcs. The dlcs are main game content that was taken out and was served later. There should be a law against this shit. Main game isn't hard. You can't really die and there are no hard battles, only battles that take longer time to complete. The mp3 player where you could play OSTs from other FF games was a nice touch. Music was good. Some trophies in the dlcs where a little tricky therefore the 4/10 difficulty. Since Nomura is busy with FF7 remake, i think it's best to give the next FF project to Yoko Taro. He's weird but he might put FF but to track Edited June 10, 2019 by sephiroth4424

Popular Post B1rvine
#125 : Final Words Nier Automata Yeah, I cheesed it and went to the NPC's item shop that sells trophies and spent $1,000,000 in game money. Anyway, this game had an amazing plot, story elements, beautiful music, and I loved the dev's sense of humor. If you're a fan of Sci-Fi, JRPG's, and hack-n-slash style games, you'll very likely enjoy this game. Popular Post Dokusha
#98: Blue Reflection I can sum up my feelings on this game with two words: lost potential. Blue Reflection could've been something special, a blending of Persona-like gameplay (can we consider Persona-like a subgenre at this point? I propose we call it "supernatural teen RPG"!) and magical girl conventions. Now, I don't know what went wrong here, exactly, but the execution falls disappointingly flat. Yes, the game has a nice clean menu style, the character designs are as lovely as I've come to expect from Gust, and... I suppose that's all the positive stuff I can say without adding "buuuut..." For a game that focuses so much on emotional growth and bonding amongst high school girls, the relationships felt shallow and disconnected. Outside of character-specific bonding events, protagonist Hinako spends the majority of her time with Yuzu and Lime, who are - in my personal opinion - much less compelling company than the supporting cast. Lime in particular often came across as a total bastard, to the point where I wondered why exactly Hinako is such great friends with her again. It would've been nice if the other girls - with Shihori, Yuri and Fumio as my personal favourites - spent much more time in the limelight. There was also a strangely significant amount of fanservice for a game that seems to be meant to appeal to a more feminine audience. Jiggle physics, wet school uniforms in the rain, lovingly rendered underwear scenes, Hinako regularly getting the option to have a bath... I don't usually frown at fanservice, but it felt inappropriate in this game, to me. Combat is mechanically solid, but due to one of many strange design decisions, you get no EXP from defeating monsters. Instead, you level up after doing an arbitrary amount of fetch quests. I get the idea, it could've worked if the execution was better, but as it stands, it makes fighting random mobs feel unsatisfying, like a waste of time. It also doesn't help that at least on my standard PS4, performance was bafflingly bad. Regular frame drops and stuttering, as well as some pretty gnarly aliasing and embarrassingly bad texture work. Add a highly wonky localisation on top and you get why this is such a saddening overall experience. Also, I know people laud the soundtrack, but I personally found the combination between classical instrumentation and dubstep-style wub-wub-wubbing jarring. Such a bizarre musical combination. Anyway. As far as JRPGs go, the platinum was remarkably easy and not especially time-consuming either. The main obstacles are two specific trophies, one requiring you to craft every craftable item, and the other asking you to raise a very specific, rare, RNG-dependent monster in a tamagotchi-esque minigame. That latter trophy was unnecessarily opaque, and I really could've done without the stress it gave me, hoping that this time I'd done everything right and that my monster would evolve correctly. Honestly, I hope there will eventually be a Blue Reflection 2 that fixes all the issues, as there definitely is a lot of potential here. Just... Gust, please, do me a favour and don't include an RNG-dependent tamagotchi trophy in this hypothetical sequel, would you? Thanks.

Popular Post Desmuria
#182 - Modern Tales: Age of Invention Platinum Unlock every Trophy. Enjoyment: 7/10 Difficulty: 2/10 After playing Heaven's Vault, I decided to take a break from gaming to pursue other things (mostly sleeping). I had this sat on my dash waiting for me when I returned, so I'm a little late jumping into this Artifex Mundi offering. They've decided to add a new trophy Triple Luck, where you have to complete three HOPs in 10 minutes. It daunted me a little but it's so easily done that I didn't even think about it. The story is alright, the voice acting is a little iffy at times. I'm not a fan of their "updated" animations for the characters. However, the scenes are beautifully drawn, the puzzles were relatively easy and the collectables weren't a chore. Definitely not my favourite, but it's not the worst one I've played. #183 & #184 - Word Wheel by POWGI The Wheel McCoy Collect all the trophies Enjoyment: 6/10 Difficulty: 2/10 The sixth POWGI game I've played and stacked on PS4 and PS Vita. One Word will apparently always be my favourite because this didn't trump it. The platinum is pretty straight forward: find 500 words, complete all the nine-letter words, complete 100 words in one puzzle, etc. Oh and let's not forget the classic POWGI trophy for being "immature" and making naughty words, which I admit I had fun with. It's a little more long-winded than the others, but not nearly as time consuming (and soul crushing) as Word Search. The Reinventing the Wheel trophy glitched when I played it on the Vita. I just quit the game, found a new bonus word and it popped. If you like these games, I recommend it. #185 & #186 - Warlock's Tower Platinum mailman Get all the trophies Enjoyment: 8/10 Difficulty: 2/10 Oof, I am a major sucker for puzzles games and this was no exception. I actually really enjoyed this! It's super simple to start off with but, without a guide, I would ramp the difficulty up to about 6-7. It'll take a lot longer to complete without a trusty guide to hand too. Some of the puzzles are long-winded and tedious to complete towards the end, so I gave in and got some help. @IBadDriverI did a fantastic video guide that you can follow here. Completed the Chambers is currently glitched on PS4/PS Vita. Quitting the game and reloading worked for me on both versions. Love a good puzzle game that stacks and is cheap? Look no further. #187 - Queen's Quest 3: The End of Dawn Platinum Unlock every Trophy. Enjoyment: 5/10 Difficulty: 3/10 After giving Queen's Quest 2: Stories of Forgotten Past a positive review, I must say I'm so disappointed with this one. There is one particular mini game (the balloon one) that pissed me off so much that I almost broke my controller. In order to get the platinum, you can't skip any of the mini games which made it even more maddening. The controls are obviously designed for PC players and they do not translate well on console. There was another Artifex Mundi game with a similar mini game that drove me crazy and I thought I'd never have to do it again. My enjoyment of the game was tarnished after that, I'm afraid. Not only that, but you have to collect three types of collectables, rather than the usual one and they brought back the Triple Luck trophy. Not my best experience with an Artifex Mundi game, in all honesty, and it saddens me that I didn't enjoy it. If you're using a guide, it's a straight-forward platinum, as long as you master the dodgy controls on that one stupid mini game. RANDOM RAMBLINGS My last post in this thread was when I earned the platinum for Heaven's Vault. I had such an awesome time playing that game, I actually created my first ever guide. If you own the game and are struggling, or you're thinking of picking it up, feel free to take a look at my guide. Be careful about potential spoilers. I recommend you play the game blind first! If you use the guide, I would really appreciate any feedback on it. It's such a beautiful game and it deserves a lot more recognition. ♥ Edited June 12, 2019 by Desmuria
Popular Post Bairuto
Plat No. 98 Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice I really enjoyed this game over a couple nights, very atmospheric and anxiety inducing haha. Ninja Theory did a fantastic job. I'm very close getting 100 plats now, I think assuming all goes well Crash Team Racing will be my #100! I'm not very consistent or interested in planning milestones but 100 is a big one, and I think an awesome childhood game remastered for today to finally play again is a worthy candidate.
Popular Post blu3st4rdust305
God of War: Ghost of Sparta - PS3 (#210) "The Ghost with the Most" Finally got around to getting this 6th platinum in the series. Already have the new one lined up for a potential milestone. After playing the numbered entries first, all of the remaining games felt derivative and thrown together. For a PSP port, this game looks and plays quite nicely, just like Chains of Olympus before it. The parrying and blocking work better than in Ascension. The game is pretty easy and straight forward with few challenging areas or bosses. Even the Challenges of the Gods are pretty easy in comparison with the rest of the games. The magic and alternative weapons are not needed and often interrupt the flow of combat. The story was effectively nonsense. Where did this brother come from? Why is Thanatos the lord of the underworld? Why do the wraiths cause soooooo much trouble??? So many questions unanswered by this game. The final boss with the secondary assistance was neat and probably a jumping point for the father and son fighting dynamic the new game seems to have. Overall painless platinum and straight forward game, if unremarkable, when compared against its franchise counterparts.
Popular Post ahmedelebiary
#115 Dead Rising 2: Off the Record fun 8/10 diff 4/10 This was almost identical to DR2 except a few changes like new areas or bosses and a story twist, still tons of fun. If you played DR2 you will have a great advantage over this one. Plat was more of grindy than hard as you will need to complete 60 repetitive SP and Coop challenges and get 100k zombie kills, luckily there is Sandbox mode that had no time constraints or story cases so you can farm your kills easily. I was familiar with the game as I have played DR2 years ago so that made the plat much easier for me, although a couple of challenges were tricky and required a bit of luck and few tries. Nothing too bad overall. Edited June 12, 2019 by ahmedelebiary
