Popular Post MatCauthon
#87 Tearaway Perfectionist 20.31% - Uncommon I bought this game on a whim during the PSN Flash Sale last weekend in order to meet my 2013 goal of 30 platinums. Wow, I'm happy I made that decision. This game is excellent. The world is beautiful, the gameplay is fresh and fun, and it will truly bring a smile to your face! (It better, since you'll be seeing your face a lot throughout your adventure!) Tearaway uses all of the Vita functionality, and unlike many games, it didn't feel gimmicky. Quite the opposite, since you're technically a part of the game and the world, the Vita mechanics fit right into the gameplay. The platinum is fairly simple. Even though there are plenty of collectibles, I do not recommend using a guide the first time through. Instead, explore the amazing world and find what you can on your own. It's simple to then use a guide and replay chapters to find what you are missing. I'm really hoping for some DLC to be added later! Popular Post Bullstomp
Platinum #85 - Battlefield 4 Wow, this was a hella easier platinum than BF3. Good ride, especially liked the chaos of "Obliteration" mode. I would recommend to people who are new to FPS and want a game that they can platinum with minimal difficutly. So that is it, I made my platinum goal for 2013. Was originally 75 but I modified it to 85 in August. I just got the last one on Christmas Day. Couldn't plan it much better Edited December 26, 2013 by Bullstomp

Popular Post Dr_Mayus
#118-Soul Calibur 2 When me and my friends got together for a videogame night this was one of the staples we would pull out. I played this game so much during the gamecube days that I was afraid this version wouldn't hold up (especially after how bad 5 was). Nope I had a blast playing through this game and am glad I was able to pick it up during the sale (thanks again to wdjat for pointing that out to me ). I can only think of two complaints about this fantastic game. 1. I had a little trouble connecting with my friend for online play. It was nothing major but it is worth mentioning. 2. Spawn and Heihachi both make it in the game (the xbox/ps2 characters) but Nintendo won't let Link join in the fray, fuck you once again Nintendo (I know Nintendo would never let Link be on Playstation and Xbox but wouldn't that have been awesome if Namco could have swung it ) If you like fighters and were on the fence about this remake pick it up it is a lot of fun.
Popular Post broy300
#26 Ratchet & Clank: Into The Nexus. A typical R & C game, but I'm glad I only paid $15 for it. First play through will take about 6 hours. Grinding bolts for the final armor and leveling all 12 weapons to max can be a drag. Great story, Insomniac redeemed itself with this one.
Popular Post amebapiko
Perfectionist Tearaway This game probably sits in my top 3 favourite vita games for obvious reasons. You could say the Platinum is short and sweet but definitely way too easy although that can be nice too. Highly enjoyable.

Popular Post Dragon-Archon
#79 Remember Me The game has a interesting story: it takes place in the future where technology has made it possible for memories to be removed, deleted, altered, stored and even bought or sold. The M3morize Company (who created the technology and just happens to control law enforcement) promotes the advantages while not mentioning the disadvantages. You play as Nillin, a member or the Errorsist Movement: a resistance group fighting M3morize. At the start of the game Nillin's memories are removed. That forces you to rely on strangers who say they know you and you have no choice, you just have to take their word for it. At first the game portrays things as black and white, while later things become very grey. Some characters aren't as good/bad as you thought, while others are just evil. That's what I liked about this game: some characters do bad things, but once you see their side of the story you realize why they did certain things (cryptic I know, because it's a major spoiler). The combat system takes w hile to get used to. You can change combo's by altering the type of attacks. Besides that you'll unlock special attacks during the story. These special attacks are very powerfull and requires focus (special energy) to perform and they have a cooldown period. The game is quite doable on hard difficulty, some fights may take a few tries. One major thing I disliked was the fact you lose all your focus when you die. Making retries after that even harder, because you have to refill the focus gauge by either dealing or receiving damage.
