Popular Post freddie1989
#142 Batman: The Enemy Within Not too bad this one although I cant remember the previous game to do a comparison. Harley Quinn is adorable for a psychopath though I will say that!! Not too sure whats next on the agenda. Have the backlog challenge and gaming by numbers to work towards though so likely something for those.
Popular Post starcrunch061
Plat #340: Tokyo Xanadu EX+ The Legend of the X.R.C. Obtain all trophies. The story was pure sap, and the localization was pure shit. But I nonetheless enjoyed both of my playthroughs on this title. Normally, I would pass on a second playthrough, but Calamity+Infinity tempted me, and it was fun. Except for the final boss. Who was total, unadulterated BS. I recommend this title nonetheless. Good stuff. It's remarkable that there is a family tree leading from Faxanadu on the NES to this game. Plat #341: Revenant Dogma Aldora Meister Obtain all the trophies. I have been a Kemco apologist in the past, but honestly, it's hard to defend this crap. This is my fifth Kemco RPG, all developed by exe.create, and this is by far the worst one. It's well known that Kemco mails these things in, but the level of laziness here is legendary. The story is about 9 hours long. The rest are silly random dungeons, leading to the worst superboss fight I've ever seen. Like most, I cheesed him (is there any game where gold toss was the best attack? There is now!). Popular Post Hanstarkiller17
Platinum #32 100% #38 Ratchet and Clank I finally got around to finishing this game after trying the Rilgar racing trophy again. I really don't know why I was having so much trouble the first time around, but I was successful on the third try this time. After knocking that one out, the rest of the leveling up weapons and everything only took a couple hours. I loved this game though. It was super nostalgic for me, as I played a lot of Ratchet and Clank in my younger days. I hope they make/remake another one on the PS4 soon!
Popular Post Juzota
#119 - Days Gone One Percenter Go above and BEYOND, unlocking every trophy in Days Gone I had a rough start with this game. I played for an hour or so and thought the game was alright. After that first session I had a 2 week break before coming back, but after that I played it almost every day. It took me awhile to get into this one, but I'm glad I did. To me his game is on the same level of enjoyment with games like Horizon: Zero Dawn and Spider-Man. Days Gone is yet another open-world game where you do lots of repetitive stuff, but yet I had lots of fun in the zombie filled world. Yeah, they are zombies. Don't try to trick me. Too bad there was lots, and I mean lots, of framerate issues and objects popping outta nowhere when ridin' around full speed on my motorcycle. Without these technical issues this could've been 9 or 10 out of 10 for me. Now I only give it 8 out of 10 which is still really good score in my opinion. Same score that I gave to Horizon and Spider-man (if I recall correctly). Definitely gonna check out any story based DLC if there's going to be any. Or a sequel. Does Yojimbo from Final Fantasy X count? Players can summon him and pay in-game money. Paying over 1 million usually results in him doing an insta-kill move that even defeats the game's superboss.
Popular Post Dokusha
#99: Aragami Every so often a humble little indie game will come up, smile at you and just... impress you. Aragami isn't perfect, but it's a clear labour of love and a damn fine stealth game. I loved the idea of playing as a shadow-spirit shinobi with Dishonoured-esque powers - teleporting powers will never, ever bore me in a game - and whilst the story isn't especially intricate, it's interesting nonetheless. The weird pseudo-Japanese voice acting (as in, they all speak a made-up language that sounds vaguely Japanesey) is a bit offputting, but fortunately you can just turn the dialogue volume down. Problem solved. I should emphasise, though, that this really is a stealth game through-and-through. If you get spotted, you're probably going to be dead. There's a tiny fight-or-flight window if a single enemy sees you, but even so, you're probably dead anyway. The aragami is a fragile protagonist and it won't survive full-blown melees, so you'll have to be sneaky and make good use of your supernatural powers. The levels are nicely designed, with secret routes and multiple ways to reach your objective, and the art style is very pleasing to the eye. Game performance is a little unstable on my standard PS4, though, with a framerate that fluctuates between 60 and sub-30 if things get hectic. You'll definitely have to be decent at stealth if you want to grab most of the trophies in Aragami. Each level has three medals to unlock: Yurei, for completing a level without being detected. Kami, for completing a level without killing anyone, and Oni, for completing a level having killed -everyone-. Surprisingly, the Oni medals gave me the most trouble, as it's annoyingly easy to miss a guard or two, and the game won't have mercy on you then. Choosing the blood-spattered path of the demon is not a forgiving enterprise, after all... Sadly, the Nightfall DLC is rather underwhelming. Its four chapters are short, and the new powers are effectively reskinned versions of the base game's power set. It's also not quite fun having to kill each and every guard in a mission where you're forced to tail a guy, the developers didn't seem to think that one through as well as they should've. Ah well. I would definitely recommend the base game to people interested in a good third person stealth romp, but the DLC isn't worth it unless you're a completionist intent on getting that 100% like myself.

Popular Post AJ_Radio
Platinum #197: The Mummy Demastered (May 23rd, 2019) Difficulty: 3/10 Excitement Rating: 8/10 Estimated Time to Platinum: 5 - 6 Hours Hardest Trophy: Undead Agent (Beat the game without dying) Going to keep this one simple. This game is perhaps the weakest Metroidvania I have played thus far. It does nothing significant on it's own and it can't be considered something special since the story is well, rather cliche. I typically look at licensed games as bad because they either deviate too far from the movie or they try to implement mechanics that often fail. The Mummy Demastered does neither of these, and while I don't think it's anywhere as good as Axiom Verge or Guacamelee, it delivers in gameplay mechanics well. Everyone who follows my posts probably knows what I've said regarding Metroidvanias so I'll skip most of the dialogue. This game is short but provides somewhat of a fun experience. The only real downside and what lead to my frustration is the fact there is no real tracker for collectibles. There's no way to really tell if you've 100 percented an area, including exploring every room and finding every room. So you're left with running around like a chicken until you find that last collectible. I ended up printing out a map of the game with all the collectibles and watching a Youtube video guide, crossing out every collectible that I already found and confirmed. Not much else I can say. If you enjoy Metroidvanias, then this game does a fairly decent job at keeping to the tradition. If you don't enjoy these type of games, then you're better off just skipping this and finding something else that you'll enjoy more.
Popular Post sephiroth4424
#154 Mind Zero Omniscience Enjoyment: 6/10 Difficulty: 4/10 I bought this game because i read it's like Persona games. Certainly it's not. At least nothing like P4 or P5 since they are the only ones i've played so far. That being said, it's not a terrible game either. The story was short and it ended in a cliffhanger. It's obvious that they were planning for a sequel. As for the difficulty, if you play on the hardest mode in your first pt, the bosses midway through the game are quite challenging since you don't have the necessary skill cards yet. The last bosses are the easiest. Worst trophy is the one you have to reach level 99, it took me several hours to go from level 80 to 99, after i've done everything else
Popular Post sasu_naru
______________________________________________________ Video Game Bender Okay. This game was SO much fun Unfortunately, the game got delisted I think in December last year? I loved Avatar: The Last Airbender and the first two seasons of Korra and when I saw there was a game made by PG I had to play it. I definitely was not disappointed. Very happy I decided to buy it when it was still available, for me - it definitely paid off. The game features story mode, pro bending mode and in some chapters a Naga running stage. Pro bending was definitely THE BEST. I love, love, LOVE this mode. Man, how I wished there was a Pro-bending multiplayer game lol The story was rather meh, but I didn't expect much from it since it's focus is the gameplay and combat system. Even on extreme difficulty, with the right items equipped, it wasn't too hard to beat and platinum it. (except for one boss battle at the end of chapter 5 on extreme) Took me almost 18 hours to complete Edited June 20, 2019 by nymphia97 typo

Popular Post madbuk
#320 - Snake Pass Pretty disappointing game, honestly. I liked the concept, but in practice the controls feel way too loose and despite only being 15 levels long, it still ends up feeling repetitive by the end. Add into that the fact that some of the trophies can be buggy and I even had to delete my 100% save and start again to get the final one to pop, No Diving. Which is especially irritating, as No Diving is not only the buggiest trophy in the game, but also by far the hardest, so to accomplish it multiple times and not get the trophy was very frustrating. It is a pretty game, however, and the every 4 levels the theme changes to at least keep the scenery fresh even if the gameplay barely changes (second area added water, which doesn't change much, third area added fire, which is basically just spikes but not insta-death, and the final area introduced wind which actually offered some unique challenges.) I'd be interested to see what they do with a sequel, if they make a sequel, but I'd probably shy away from it regardless. The hunt for a good new 3D platforming IP in current gen continues. Yooka Laylee wasnt terrible, but it wasn't too great either, and this... meh.

Popular Post Zircon_Lotus
Platinum #67: Devil May Cry 5 It was a while since I last played a game so satisfying. I am a huge DMC fan since I played the 3rd game on the PS2. Last year I decided to replay and plat DmC for the PS4. Years after the heated discussions about the game, I came to enjoy it, although it didnt feel like the others in the franchise. But this one is different. This game has the "DMC DNA" in it. The characters are vibrant, funny and full of personality. They dont feel edgy like in DmC. The soundtrack is amazing. Even after replaying the missions countless times, I never felt tired of them. And since rock nowadays is far from it's former glory, they made a very good job composing the battle themes for Nero and V, and the bosses, with others genres. The gameplay is fantastic. Dante and Nero have an wide array of weapons and styles that add depth to the game. Even if V has less movements, they made a really good job translating his "weak man" archetype into a unique battle style. But I have some complaints. The game feels short, you can clear the game really quick, even if you're not too good. There are no puzzles, with makes the missions very linear. The combat is intense and funny, mianly if you're aiming to increase your style rank, but I really like some good puzzles here and there. And the visual aspect is lacking. The game is not ugly, nor it looks outdated, but there's little to the eyes. The places in certain missions are too similar, and some people may feel bored with them. Since I was too busy with the combat, I had little time to ponder about the visuals, but the game could be prettier. About the platinum, it was much easier than I thought. S ranking in Human and Demon Hunter is far from hard. Son of Sparda, the hard mode, requires you to increase your standard a little, but you get the hang really quick. Many of the missions I got it first try. Dante Must Die and Hell and Hell are where the real challenge lies. Some enemies are a pain do deal with when they devil trigger, and some rooms feel impossible before many retries. The bosses, that are usually not too hard, become a pacience test when they devil trigger. Hell and Hell is a different kind of challenge. Some missions you will need to aim for a high style rank, because you will certainly die. On the majority you will have to use a hit and run style. To the people who may feel discouraged to try the platinum, dont care about the low percentage or the comments on the internet. The trophy is highly doable if you have patience. And even if you dont want the trouble, dont sleep on this game, it's really good. And if you havent already, play the others ones, they're worth it. Even DmC is good. Not DMC good, but better than many others in the market.
Popular Post Icebrand1270
Platinum 100 (as OohYeah127) Vegas Party (PS4 Version) June 18 2019 at 7:23 AM And so my comeback is complete! And yes, that is the Platinum image for this game. My gaming life got turned upside down when I lost my original PSN ID (Icebrand1270) to a bank card hack back in September of 2017. Now, after 21 months and a ton of shameful Plats (I joke that my 3 middle names are Ratalaika, Lightwood and Sometimes You... if you get the joke), I celebrate with a Plat you certainly don't see every day for Platinum 100! This was a port of a Wii party game of years past... and a very poor port at that. Some of the tilting features of the PS4 controller are used to mimic the Wii's motion controller of yesteryear... which does not translate well... at all. If that isn't bad enough, 2 trophies had requirements that were impossible and had to be altered, making this Plat unobtainable for 12 months into the game's history. By impossible I mean circumstances that would NEVER happen during gameplay (ex. One trophy called for bankrupting a player when players got loans before they got a chance to be bankrupted so that had to be altered). Crazy dumb but at least it was fixed. The "payoff" for getting this? It's my first Ultra Rare as OohYeah127! Just 16 people listed here have it with a 4.16% "success rate". Given that I am not a "traditional" trophy hunter (ex. graphics mean absolutely nothing to me, no fear of grinding trophies, and so on), I guess it was meant to be that I would have an extremely rare yet obscure Platinum for Plat 100. Amazing! Comeback Complete! OOOOHHH YEAH!!!
Popular Post Jelloycat
Platinum #82: Digimon World: Next Order What a grind! I wasn't too sure about this game when I first started playing it. It's pretty overwhelming at first, trying to figure out just what exactly the game wants out of you. (I wasn't even sure if I would bother finishing chapter 1). Once I started playing more and got the hang of it, however, it was a lot of fun! It felt great when you actually make progress in this game, and even though it's a lot different than the play style of Cyber Sleuth, I really enjoyed it. The fact that your Digimon die can be a bit off-putting at first, but it gives you a chance to raise a lot of different Digimon, and since they inherit some stats it's honestly not that bad. (This was my first Digimon World game so I wasn't used to this mechanic.) Anyways, time to wait for Digimon Survive to come out!

Popular Post erwint0920
#34 - The Witness Platinum Get every trophy I didn't really like the game kinda boring and not much fun for me at least. I did the areas in 2 days, but then game the challenge trophy at that one was absolute hell. I failed constantly but finally today I got after again 45 tries (yes I am terrible at this) I got it at probably the last moment as the music was coming to the end. But thankfully I got it and now I am finally done with this game. It is the first platinum trophy I got this year as I got exactly zero trophies the last five months. I decided to make the platinum my 50th because of a couple reasons and the main one being the L=50 in roman numerals. I had a lot of fun even with all the grind I had to do for the platinum and now it's the rarest platinum trophy in my collection!
