Popular Post Dr_Mayus
Valkyria Chronicles Well that is 15/26 letters Plat Ready This was a great game and glad I finally got around to finishing it. If I had to pick a slight nit-pick it is once you figure out how to make Alicia into Rambo the game is completely broken. I was really enjoying planning my strategies out and working my way down the battlefield...but then you can turn Alicia into a God and that became the way to play the game. Seriously take a look at this picture and tell me this doesn't sum up the entire play style on how to get A Ranks It is just Welkin yelling at Alicia to "not get hit by enemy fire" and Alicia going in guns-a-blazin' \ Anyways fantastic game and if you haven't played it then do yourself a favour and check it out. Also if you want to see my progress for the Plat Rain Alphabet check it out here
Popular Post Desmuria
#188 - Thimbleweed Park Player of the Year Collect all trophies. Enjoyment: 9/10 Difficulty: 2/10 I LOVE point-and-click adventure games and this one has been on my radar for a while. I finally caught it on sale and I was lightning fast at purchasing it. I absolutely loved it. I actually felt immersed and invested in the characters, which is a massive plus. I particularly enjoyed Ransome the *beephole* Clown. He was definitely my favourite character. One of the trophies asks you to get his bad ending and I did actually feel really sorry for him. Initially, looking at the trophy list I saw a few that I knew were going to be grindy, particularly Book Worm, No One Is Home and Dust Hoarder. The "No One Is Home" trophy was actually a lot of fun for me! I dialled a random number that asked me to dial another if I wanted to find out the Secret of Monkey Island, and on and on it went. Being a massive Monkey Island fan, I quickly got absorbed into dialling a bunch of numbers and the trophy popped in no time. The Dust collection trophies, I won't lie, I used the glitch by finding one, saving the game, picking it up, reloading and repeat. I wanted to enjoy the game without having to worry too much about the dust, so I got that out of the way pretty fast at the start. The difficulty trophies do not stack, so you have to play the game twice. The hard and casual difficulty playthroughs felt like two totally different experiences, despite the same result at the end. HIGHLY recommended! #189 - Bird Game + Platinum Bird Get all the trophies Enjoyment: 1/10 Difficulty: 3/10 Ugh, this game. I picked it up because it was £1.99 in the sale and I wanted something easy to play. I couldn't sleep, so I was looking for a smooth and easy experience to send me off to sleep. My God... this game is a mess. It didn't soothe me. It enraged me. The controls are janky and the levels are just ridiculous. You're constantly being batted around by scenery that (for me) was hard to make out sometimes because of the art style. The boss fight on the first level was my main issue. I knew what I had to do, but the bee and the dragonfly owned me time and time again. Let's just say, I'm glad that this one wasn't stackable on PS Vita or it would've been twice the rage, twice the disappointment. #190 - Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Trilogy Ace Attorney Trilogy Get every trophy. Enjoyment: 8/10 Difficulty: 2/10 I freely admit that I have never played a Phoenix Wright game until now and, in all honesty, I wish I'd played these sooner. Going in completely blind was a fun experience, as I knew nothing about the characters, the story or the cases. Spoiler Mia's death right at the very start shocked me, but it was cool that she was still able to help Phoenix out through channelling. Out of all three games, I would say that Justice For All was probably my favourite. I particularly enjoyed Turnabout Big Top. Franziska von Karma was my favourite attorney to battle against, probably because of the constant whipping... By the time I got around to Trials and Tribulations, I felt the game get slightly repetitive (investigation, trial, investigation, trial, done). They all had pretty much the same format, but I appreciate that the games tried to mix things up with the different game mechanics, like the Psyche Locks. All in all, it was an enjoyable experience. If you're like me and you've never played these before, I recommend you do. RANDOM RAMBLINGS I'm now officially on the road to 200 platinums! I think I'm going to make Until Dawn my 200th. I got it free with PS+ what seems like ages ago... I've been too much of a wuss to play it, because I'm actually scared. I don't do horror games at all. As per usual, going to keep plugging Heaven's Vault. If you haven't checked it out yet, it's such a good game and it deserves more recognition. If you're playing and some of the trophies are bugging you, I wrote a guide which you can find here. Be careful about potential spoilers. I recommend you play the game blind first! If you use my guide, I would really appreciate any feedback you have. ♥ Edited June 27, 2019 by Desmuria

Popular Post Cave Johnson
Shining Resonance Refrain Shining Resonance Refrain Obtained all trophies. A "shining" example of mediocrity. I think half my motivation for platinuming this game was so that I could make that awful pun. Did I need to platinum it to do that? No, but I just hate myself, I guess. I wanted to like Shining Resonance, but there's too much dragging it down; not even the 11/10 voice cast (that's probably where much of the budget went) could save it. That made it far more bearable, though. Mizuki Nana is not only in my top five seiyuu, but also one of my favorite singers. When I finally got Excella's ending, it made it all feel worth it… kind of. The worst part of Shining Resonance is probably the combat system. It's slow, boring, and simply a mess of unbalanced bullshit. Unlike Tales, there is no cool down after using an item. Skills seem to barely do more damage than regular attacks — making them basically worthless. Aspects were a good idea, but are mostly unhelpful. For example, raising attack by 10% doesn't make much of a difference. Most of the good aspects aren't available until late in the game, and will likely require rare drops to make. It doesn't help that the drop rates in this game are ass. All of this is only the beginning; I didn't mention the dumb as rocks AI, cheap boss fights, and inactive party members get 0 exp. And of course, there's a part that requires two specific party members. Didn't level those two guys? You're fucked. Have fun grinding, which of course, is also shit. Now I feel like I'm reliving some of it by writing this, so I'll stop. I don't really care to say more; I'm done with Shining Resonance, I've shelved it, and I'm glad it's over. The platinum screenshot is just a black screen, so instead, here's the most beautiful thing that can be seen in the game(Excella's smile): Spoiler Edited June 25, 2019 by Cave_Johnson_

Popular Post HotxPot
#3 Blue Reflection Brilliant Etoile Congratulations! You collected all the trophies. Enjoyment: 3/10 Difficulty: 2/10 Time: 18h This is basically Magical Girl the RPG. Gameplay is pretty simple also. You have a story segment, followed by free period segments where you complete side quests until the next story section unlocks. Unfortunately since the game takes place in pretty much one location, and there are only a few different dungeons to go through, i felt that it got really repetitive after the first few chapters. This is also when I felt that the story started getting a bit side tracked, though it pulled itself together near the end and i ended up quite liking the last couple of finishing chapters. The game in generally is quite pretty, the UI is sleak and clean, and the artwork is also well done, but the graphics in certain parts really look dated, particularly the free action options after a school day. The soundtrack is absolutely ballin' though, and probably the best part of the game. The platinum itself isn't hard to get. Nothing is difficulty related and the most annoying part is farming for materials, which if you play on a higher difficulty early on, won't be much.

Words cannot express how many hours I've put into the game in my life and I regret none of them. Replaying this game just remember me how great this game is, it will always be a big part about me. It maybe a huge mess in crashing and glitches, but if you can overlook that you'll have a amazing experience.

Popular Post IntroPhenom
Platinum #47 (PS4) Minecraft: Story Mode Season 2 Jesse Victorious Current rarity: 67.82% Enjoyment: 10/10 I made sure to download all of the episodes before the deadline, just in case, but still managed to finish up last night. Both seasons (played back-to-back) were full of everything fans of Telltale would want - quick time events, quirky comments, the option to be either a saint or a jackass...great stuff. And Paul Reubens voiced a character named Ivor! (Paul Reubens is Pee-Wee Herman, kids.) The final boss fight is done in classic Telltale style -- much action with minimal controls -- and continually clocking the final boss in this one was a fun and satisfying conclusion to the series, and honestly a bit tougher than previous TT boss fights I've had. Season 3 would be inevitable, I feel, had the company not gone under. Damn shame.
Popular Post Hanstarkiller17
Platinum #34 100% #41 Burly Men at Sea This game has been sitting in my library since it was free with PS Plus almost a year ago, but I finally got around to playing it! And man, I was not disappointed! The art style was cute and simple, and honestly made the game very enjoyable. The soundtrack was even better, and I found myself tempted to buy it from the store once I finished the game. This was a very short and easy plat, but I had fun playing to find each ending and complete my bookshelf. Now on to Assassin's Creed Unity!

Popular Post Ala-Arska
Black Mirror Every Trophy accomplished Accomplish all Trophies and complete the game "There's always a lighthouse", they said. Bunch of liars. *Snore*...*Zzzzz*...*Hrrrhh*...*Thisgameissoboringhfff*... I thought this was going to be like an updated version of 1992's classic Alone in the Dark. Horror, mansion and cheap deaths, like. Nope. What I got was 2008's Alone in the Dark. Glitchy, ugly, uncontrollable and not scary at all (it's still better than this) Black Mirror, not to be confused with the splendid TV series of same name, is a supernatural mystery set in a Scottish castle. Imagine the very first Resident Evil, with tank controls and camera angle changes that'll screw you over constantly. It's like that (and that's the way it is...huh!), but with less zombies, marginally better graphics and main focus of "Examining" stuff. Loading times take forever and they are aplenty even after patch, characters glitch in and out of their places, freezes, crashes...it's endless Story sucks. I've seen this plot a million times before, but hey, what's one more turd in a pile of garbage? Voice acting sucks. Main character especially, looking like a Game of Thrones reject and acting like one, too. Atmosphere sucks. I wanted tension and jump scares, goddammit! I haven't felt this sleepy since I saw the second Highlander. What doesn't suck, blows. That's Black Mirror for ya, trash compressed and decompressed at the same time

Having read all the reports beforehand about how awful it was I was almost scared to play it. Really enjoyable game, straightofrward enough. Maybe the co-op elements could have had a bit more about them but they were minimal in the context of it all. Would recommend for sure!
