Popular Post Rick_Sanchez
Platinum # 234 Fun: 6/10 Difficulty: 8/10 with additional Luck / not likely in your favor Holy cow now what a game to play. It's an objective based FPS where you commit heist from robbing a bank to pulling off a back stab of a drug trade for a huge money vault that you actually lift the room it's in out of the building and even a prisoner rescue. What makes this game difficult is the randomness of most of the levels which all need to be completed on the hardest difficulty without anyone being traded back from custody. Sometimes a level gives you the objectives and you just follow them, other times a monkey wrench is thrown in and you have to do other objectives or some things that you can complete are not there when it's there other times. I highly advise getting a good team and learning how to pull off the bag glitch where you place a bag a particular way where it's hanging off the side of something and you crouch or stand in it if possible and you can't be killed by anything unless a cloacker can get up close and super kick you. There's 4 special enemies to watch out for. A shield guy that has a huge shield to block your gun fire for others, taser which shocks you and makes you lose ammo but you can fire on him with very poor accuracy to try to break his hold on you, cloacker which sneaks around and can down an entire team instantly if no one is paying attention, and the big guy called a bulldozer who wields a powerful shotgun and wears super thick armor and is basically a bullet sponge. The trophies all have a similar requirement that you have to be in the heist at the very start of the lobby starting so while you can drop in mid game you won't get trophies. There's a few trophies that is easier with 4 people but possible with 3 with one trophy requiring 4 people. Huge shout out to my buddy Gejr7 and Nikolam for being the best heist co-op partners around and a smaller shout out to Niko's friend, Maggot, for joining us for our 4th for the 4 player trophy.
Popular Post DeathNyx
SoulCalibur VI Platinum N°80: A New Story of Swords and Souls Obtain all trophies. Game enjoyment: 8 Trophies enjoyment: 6 Trophies difficulty: 4.5 - 5 Comment: As a long time fan of the series i pretty enjoyed the game. Trophies are relatively easy especially if you're knowledgeable about past games mechanics. My Platinum #80 should have been Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen but i changed my mind later, considering my long time history with the SoulCalibur series.
Popular Post erwint0920
#35 - Batman: The Enemy Within I Am the Night Completed Batman: The Enemy Within. I Bought this one at the beginning of the year but never played it because I had gotten bored of hunting. But now I have played and I liked it, I did think they rushed the last 2/3 chapters and that catwoman didn't show up in the last chapters (with me at least) or maybe I missed a reason for why she didn't show up.
Popular Post madbuk
#321 - LEGO DC Super-Villains As a fan of the LEGO Batman games in particular, I was excited for this game. It's pretty good although I do think the Batman games themselves were better overall. For the most part the levels here were a decent length, although like in most of the modern LEGO games, a few of them were a bit overly long. The open world wasn't as tedious as I expected, it didn't take long and all the different regions were pretty distinct in design. The 'create your own main character' gimmick ended up feeling pretty pointless, but the story itself was a bit above average for a LEGO game tbh, not that that's saying too much. I had fun with this, and look forward to, at some point, starting one of the many other LEGO games I already own lol (Avengers, Incredibles, Star Wars, Jurassic, Indiana Jones)
Popular Post EmaCroft
#77 Horizon Zero Dawn: Complete Edition #78 Bleach: Soul Ignition #79 L.A. Noire: Complete Edition #80 Crash Team Racing: Nitro-Fueled Woah! After being quite busy with school and work I finally catch up with these games. HZD and its expansion was one of the most addictive game I've ever played, with its majestic setting, characters and gameplay. I loved everything about it, especially Aloy which reminded me A LOT of the ol' Core Design's Lara Croft! Such a badass. The DLC expansion was great as well, and it definitely made the difficulty jump very high. Bleach was fun, a bit repetitive when it came to level grinding. However if you're a fan (as I am!) you should enjoy your time with it. L.A. Noire is such an underrated game, and I couldn't say how much I liked solving every case, witnessing how Cole Phelp's detective life escalated in the damned City of Angels. If you like those old noire movies, and in general a solid R* game, give this game a chance - have a wee look at the PS4 remastered version! AND NOW... THE REAL KING. Oh how much I wanted to play THIS GAME! I'm so proud of getting the platinum for this remaster, I've literally played hundreds of hours when I was little, and re-doing the Adventure mode (that HARD difficulty tho.) and every Oxide trials was challenging as I remembered back in the days. It could be frustating a times, however you will love it if you already played the original ND game. Now, let's wait for the Grand Prix!

Popular Post Zach
#133 Far Cry 5 Enjoyment: 6/10 Difficulty: 3/10 Time: 25hrs Eh.... Not that good of a Far Cry game in my opinion. Boring story and the villains were average at best. Faith was probably the best villain in this game. I really wanted to like Jacob but he was average as well. I'd say 70% of the story missions were garbage. The story felt more like a grind than actually being fun. This is really sad because I'm a big Far Cry fan. I heard mix reviews about this game prior to playing but I never thought I could dislike a Far Cry game. I guess Far Cry 3, 4, and Primal will remain the Holy Trinity of Far Cry. I tried so hard to like this game but just couldn't get into it or like it...I just can't give it a good rating.

Popular Post vampiresarego
#59 - Days Gone (PS4) 28th June 2019 One Percenter 2 months, 4 hours This won't be a glowing review like most of the reviews I usually post... be warned. I started playing this on Launch Day, 2 months ago, and I tell you this game had a lot of issues. I know this game has been a few years in the making, but it feels like this has been rushed out the door to meet a "deadline" that no one cared about. Studio Bend, I am sure, meant well and was trying desperately to create the best game that they could, but this game had too many flaws in it. This is actually pretty surprising, especially seeing the plethora of exclusive hits that Playstation has been releasing that last couple of years, and the quality of those games. To tell you the truth, that was probably the most disappointing part. I was expecting this game to hit a home run, much like GoW or Spiderman before it, a beautiful game with a great story and great game play. Days Gone was not one of those games. The world is beautiful, the story is so-so, and the game play is mediocre. I am sure I could come up with a laundry list of excuses for why this game was so broken, but I have heard them all before and I know Studio Bend could have done better. But, this game isn't totally without merit and as time has gone on the software updates have addressed a lot of the early bugs. So, even with this game constantly crashing, randomly spawning zombie hordes, and game breaking bugs, I still had fun riding my motorcycle around Oregon. When it is working, this game looks beautiful. Living in BC, we are only a few hundred miles away from that beautiful state, and you can tell that Studio Bend is definitely proud of the state they are in. Riding across this map from mission to mission almost always had me floored by how beautiful the environments were. It reminds me, that I need to go to Portland for a weekend. The story for this game could have been great, but I think the acting was a little wooden and when it mattered the, the climactic moments were a little bit of a let down. I did feel that as the story progressed it did get a little better, but it never really moved the needle emotionally for me. Finally, the game play, this game is just another open world 3rd Person shooter. Nothing here was really new or innovative, if you played Last of Us, you have already played a better version of this game. The open world environment is really the only difference in game play and I think the open world hindered this game more than it helped. For the trophy hunters out there, the platinum is pretty easy to get. There is a little post game grinding, but even that doesn't take too long, maybe an extra 2 to 3 hours of play. That was definitely a huge plus for this game and easily one of the motivating factors to finish this one. For Days Gone, my final verdict is: This game may not be the Last of Us, but it definitely is a good way to fill that gap until LoU2 comes out. Also, let's just say that running around mowing zombies down is always a really good time. BOOZEMAN!!!

Popular Post Copanele
No. 56 : Samurai Shodown Platinum name : Samurai Shodown Completion time : 3 days, 21 hours, 15 minutes Rarity : 12.96% (rare) Difficulty rate : 2,5/10 Fun rate : 8/10 Samurai Shodown 2019 is the latest iteration of the age old SNK fighting series, now resurrected and remade, better than ever. You can choose from a roster of 16 fighters varying from the classic ronin samurai Haohmaru and Genjuro to ninja wannabe Galford and his pet dog Poppy, French fencing master Charlotte and a.... fat ninja bandit with kusarigama called Earthquake. Yeah...quite the few samurai around the game . Graphics and sound are top notch. SNK really did a great job by choosing the art style that resembles street fighter 4 , since a realistic artstyle wouldn't fit the series. Sounds and ambient music are traditional japanese strings just like the previous iterations . Gameplaywise , I believe this is the most defensive based fighting game ever ( or at least a known fighting game). Mashing buttons and trying to pull combos or special moves would almost guarantee a defeat. For example, if you counter the opponent with your heavy slash you can take up to 50% of his HP bar. If games like killer instinct and guiltygear/blazblue/skullgirls are offensive and combobased, samurai shodown is at the other end of the spectrum. What I didn't like... the story mode was barebones. Really didn't care who did what and why. Most of the characters were " eh i stumbled across this mystical land of Japan and i need to slash the baddie" . I kinda wished for a more fleshed out story mode. The ghost system is good in theory but kinda dumb in practice. It was initially advertised that a "ghost" will learn your moveset and you can fight it so you see your own flaws. Well most of the ghosts i encountered (mine included) just kept jumping around or spammed light attack. So...the system doesn't work ,I hope they will improve it. Also the biggest issue are the loading times. I had to wait up to 15 seconds between battles. It really feels cumbersome and cuts from the experience. Again , I hope they fix this with a patch. Trophies are really easy to obtain, this is one of the easiest plats I ever got. The only trophy abit tricky was the Gauntlet Mode trophy ,where you had to defeat all 16 characters and the final boss, but there are several exploits that could ease up the difficulty to that trophy too( big shoutout to @ShonenCat for sharing a badass tip, pick up Galford and spam projectiles for days). All in all,a very fun game, really enjoyed it. I can't wait to get the newest DLC chars, definetly gonna whack around in Ranked when I get a break from other games.
Popular Post Viper
#163 The Saboteur Complete All Other Trophies Well mark another off the PS3 backlog. This game was certainly fun...but VERY dated at this point. A lot of the game mechanics have been improved by leaps and bounds over the years and it just made things like climbing buildings or even simple gunplay tedious at times. The story was decent, Sean was a fun protagonist, and the whole black and white aesthetic in areas overrun with Nazi's, and having to liberate them to bring color back to the world was an awesome touch and I can't believe more games haven't utilized that. Having over 1300 Ambient Freeplays to complete was ridiculously unnecessary though, there absolute no need to have that many...they could have cut down 2/3 of that and it still would have been a lot. If Pandemic didn't go under...I think they could have franchised the hell out of this series we'd probably be waiting on The Saboteur 5 right now. If you haven't played it and want something to try on the PS3...give it a shot. It'd probably be considered a hidden gem to most people. Popular Post sasu_naru
#7: Digimon Story Cyber Sleuth _________________ Perfect Sleuth Okay, I really, really love Digimon. It used to be a very big part of my childhood along with a couple of other 90's anime. I just HAD to 100% this game. And oh boy, this was fun. And addictive. Especially the digivolution mechanics. I'm not sure if I understood 100% of the story but I absolutely loved how dark it was and yet, the game managed to have some very funny scenes from time to time. (Also some dialogues are hilarious) Side-quests were okay, some were a bit annoying. Loved the Great Challenges as well as the boss fights against the Demon Lords. =) I was struggling with choosing a team of Digimon since there were quite a few I liked. I'm overall satisfied with the amount of Digimon available. The most grinding this game had was probably collecting all 500 Digimon medals but I did it while (re)watching Digimon Adventures so it wasn't as boring. It took me exactly 78 hours to finish this. Enjoyment: 10/10 Difficulty: 3.5/10 (played mostly on normal mode, some boss fights on hard to make it more challenging)

Popular Post Nostalgy_Flow
#75: Raiden IV: OverKillDifficulty: 10/10It's happened. FINALLY!Game was fun, it's a nice shmup! I enjoyed it until I had to do the 1ccs runs though. Even though I used pause-exploit, it's been truly hard and I'm giving it a 10 anyway. The 1ccs with the pause are like an endurance test. You need to play 2h+ (depending on how much you pause) and you have to stay really focused until the end. If I remember well, I took about 2 hours and 10 minutes for Normal and Hard, and 2 hours and 40 minutes for Very Hard and Ultimate.I was doing fine until I had to do Very Hard, then I don't know... I got lost. I thought to give up several times but in the end I didn't (thankfully). There's a big gap between Hard and Very Hard, it's just crazy. The hardest 1ccs were Very Hard indeed, and Normal, because you're learning to master the pause trick and the game in general. Then Hard, which is pretty much like Normal, also after the first 1cc, you got used to the thing and it becomes easier than the first time, and Ultimate. Yes, I said Ultimate. It's supposed to be the highest difficulty, but I did it in less than a day after Very Hard (with three total lifes left! xD). This shows how important mentality is. If you think you can't do it, you won't make it. After doing Very Hard I realized that it was possible, and I did Ultimate right away. IMO if you can do Normal you can do Hard, and if you can do Very Hard you can do Ultimate as well. The problem is just between Hard and Very Hard indeed, as I said because of the gap there is. Then Double Play (two ships at one time). Luckily you can play on Normal and you just have to do the first loop. I underestimated it though, it's been actually quite difficult. It's hard to use the pause here, but I managed to use it anyway. While pauseing, sometimes I moved just one ship at time, and others I moved the sticks togheter with the left hand, with the right thumb fixed on Options (I used DS4 for all the 1ccs because I had issues with my DS3s). I saved the replay for the Ultimate and Double Play runs. If I can make a video with my phone, I'll upload the runs on YT, for those interested. Absolutely one of the games I'm most proud of. Really glad it's over. Edited June 29, 2019 by Nostalgy_Flow
