Popular Post Brawler
Platinum #124: Gaia's Guardian (Final Fantasy VII) This was a trip. I hadn't played the game in it's entirety on PS1 so I didn't have the nostalgia factor going in but I sure can see why people did. The game has aged poorly in some regards but the overall gameplay and story are solid. I also think playing through this will help me appreciate the things they do with the remake a bit more as there were definitely some memorable moments I'm looking forward to seeing again.
Adras_Nightmare
#35 - Tom Clancy's The Division 2 Platinum Agent (9.62%) Time to platinum: 52 hours (replaying all missions in Hard & collecting all the cards in a set are the reasons for such a length) Time to 100%: Still not achieved (waiting for the raid Discovery mode & matchmaking) Personal game score: 7.5/10 (loved the atmosphere even more than its predecessor. Dark zones really felt like 'urban jungle') Personal platinum difficulty: 6/10 (a bit lower if you have friends to play with)
Popular Post Viscera1900
#223 - God of War III Remastered King of the Hill "Unlock all trophies" Enjoyment: 10/10 Difficulty: 4/10 Actually it was interesting to revisit this game after playing the newest God of War (2018). Seeing Kratos being so rageful all the time and screaming every 10 seconds made me think that he has changed quite a bit in the newest game. Haven't played this for very long time (9 years) and I had a blast to revisit this game after so many years. The gameplay is still very fun and it was a decent challenge, since I decided to play the game on Titan mode from the get go. The game still looks very beautiful being 9 years old game This is a beautiful story about Lord Kratos the GOD OF WAR when he was still a BOI!

Does it have a good selection of songs as I am mainly a classic rock/metal fan? Yes plenty of songs to choose from and a huge amount of DLC aswell if you want to find your favourite band. #2 Ratchet & Clank The Hero of Heroes Enjoyment: 9/10 Difficulty: 2/10 My first played game on the PS4 and a great one! This one was enjoyable from start to end. The trophies were really easy which is nice once in a while. Grinding the weapons to max level was the only thing I disliked about this game, but even that only took 2 hours so it wasn't so bad. Next up CTRNF I am fairly close to that one, only the time trials so lets see how long that will take.
Popular Post DF007gamer
DARK SOULS II: SCHOLAR OF THE FIRST SIN The Dark Soul Acquire all trophies ENJOYMENT 9/10 DIFFICULTY 5/10 My 3rd FROM SOFTWARE platinum and 2nd Dark Souls plat. A few months ago I was not into any of these games from FS. Told myself I have nothing to play then started playing Bloodborne and from there onwards I instantly fell in love with the SOULSBORNE games. I've made an effort to go research some Dark Souls lore and youtube because this shit is all to confusing sometimes. Dark Souls 1 was way easier then 2. I feel that gamers that had a hard time with 2 maybe rushed the game and didn't level up properly. Some bosses I got first time but the one that really gave me rage was FUME KNIGHT. I actually enjoyed DS2 even with the complaints that alot of gamers had about it. Never regret starting this souls genre and I should be finishing my DS3 plat this weekend. My advice to anyone who thinks they have to "get gud" to play this is bullshit. Just take your time. Get the right items and upgrade the right weapons and you good to go. Yes you'll die a few times but you'll laugh at the enemies once you know the weakness. Anyways hope everyone has a great week and I'm off onto the NG+ on DS3
Popular Post Withanx
#50 - Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night Overlord Game Enjoyment: 8/10 Platinum enjoyment: 5/10 Difficulty 4/10 I enjoyed this game as a whole, but the platinum would up being a pretty insane grind. I think I beat the game at about 15 hours, and got the platinum at about 30 hours. Most of those extra hours were spent on one trophy which was getting every item in the game. Most of them need to be crafted, which means you need certain crafting items from specific enemies or chests in an area, and some of them have really low drop rates. This wouldn't have been so bad if not for the sheer ridiculous number of weapons in the game. That's great for play variety and aiming for a specific powerful weapon for your combat style, but for a trophy it was pretty tedious and unrewarding. It also made some of the technical issues with the game much more apparent, such as pretty obnxious loading times between screens after warping between fast travel points. But the game itself was really fun and I enjoyed my time with it.
Popular Post zizimonster
#70 Marvel's Spider-Man As a gameplay-is-king type of gamer, Marvel's Spider-Man is a joy to play. From web-swinging to web-throwing, the Insomniac Games-produced title excels at almost every single thing. Yup, almost! The only criticism I can throw at the game is that the puzzles suck. So bad. And there are far too many QTEs to complete. Fortunately, you have the super power to disable both of them via in-game settings. Then, what about the story? Well, the plot is a rollercoaster. I even cried during the ending -- and, honestly, I haven't cried while playing a game since The Last of Us. ?

The Platinum wasn't difficult so much as random, i.e. RNG sucked! For me at least. But i had fun with it right up to the end, save for the Designer's Delight Trophy which drove me up the wall... Again, RNG was a mother! I still have the 2 DLCs to go and will smash them when i can afford them. At the time, R&C trilogy was on sale, so i bought it as well in order to enjoy three relaxing platform-shooters. How relaxing are those games on vita? Well today i was trying to get the last platinum bolts in RC2. I was inside a room with an air conditioner, at 22 celsius, and i was sweating like a pig in heat. The ring races in RC2 and the Twisty Mcsomething move in RC1 are the most infuriating experience i had in years while playing games. Popular Post OobiGod
Platinum #15 inFamous Second Son Enjoy Your Powers Collect all trophies I remember when I was going to pick this game up with my ps4 the day it came out... that didn't happen. I got it during days of play and have been playing it for about 2 weeks now. It's pretty good. I preferred Infamous 2 personally but I still really liked this game. The story wasn't great but I enjoyed the 3 main power sets (I still don't really get the purpose of the concrete power set you only have it for one boss fight). I don't know what to play after this but I'm personally thinking something like Horizon Zero Dawn or maybe a smaller game. I'll figure it out later.

Popular Post Jiano_Vera
#94 Stardew Valley is one of those games that just needs to be played. The world is yours when you first get out of the farm, you wanna clear out all the weeds and establish your farm? Do it. You wanna go fishing? Do it. You wanna go mining? Do it. You wanna go find the love of your life? Do it. The game lets you figure it out on your own, and that's the beauty of it. The 16-bit graphics are vibrant with color in all of the seasons, making each season feel unique. I was surprised at the depth of the social aspect of the game, and even more surprised of some of the character development that touch on more mature themes like depression. The combat of the game is heavily reminiscent of the old top-down Zelda games which is always a good thing. I played this on the PS Vita and when I first started, I played a few days here and there, really taking my time with it, and playing other games in conjunction. However, once I got into a routine, I was hooked, and I always told myself "one more day" (one day in SV = about 20 min), and before I knew it, I was way past my bed time. Overall, the core experience of Stardew Valley is a relaxing, fun, and rewarding experience! Now, to address the elephant in the room. Fector's motherfuckin, goddamn Challenge. Where Stardew Valley is very chill, this is the complete fucking opposite. Having to complete it without dying is insanely difficult but like all things, if you put your mind into it, you will get it done! It took me roughly 20 hours to complete this, I beat it with deaths around the 10 hour mark, and got to the final boss without dying at 13 hours, only to get extremely nervous and die. At that point I knew, I could do it if I kept going at it. A complete run will go for about 20 minutes, that is a long time to keep focused. Luck is a huge factor in this game as if you don't have enough coins to buy the power ups for World 3, you will definitely die. If you can get to a point in playing the game, and not get overwhelmed when you see floods of enemies, you're in a good position to beat it, but that'll take some practice. I personally tried Fector's Challenge on both PS4 and PS Vita, and I felt that your avatar has a slightly larger hitbox on the PS4; for some reason, I got out of more tight situations on the PS Vita, where I would've died on the PS4. I tried Fector's Challenge on PS4 after beating it on the Vita, I couldn't even get past World 1. So I would suggest playing on the Vita if you have the option. The feeling of completing this challenge is immense, so good luck to any of you trying to beat this. This ranks pretty high up there as one of my favorite platinums of the year. I'd recommend this to anyone up for a challenge, was a huge fan of Harvest Moon, or anyone who just wants to farm crops on the side. This truly is the dawn of a new world! I've heard nothing but negative opinions about this game for years, so I had no real expectation going into this Tales game, and that made it all the sweeter when I found out that this game was nowhere near as bad as people said it was. In fact, I would consider very good. Now I understand why this game is perceived so negatively since it's a sequel to many people's favourite entry in the series and I'm certainly not going to suggest that it comes close to that game's greatness. I'm sympathetic to the argument that the original Symphonia ended perfectly and didn't need a sequel as it just muddied the plot, but taken by itself, Dawn of the New World is a solid game. I'll fight anyone who disagrees. I often heard people talk about how awful the protagonist of this game is, and I get why considering how much of a wimp he is at the beginning of the game, but he doesn't stay like that throughout the adventure. I actually found his character arc quite endearing along with his relationship with Marta. Speaking of, she's a real sweetie. This game introduces a monster capturing mechanic that allows you to bring them into your party, evolve them into better forms, etc. I thought it was pretty neat. The platinum was very time-consuming and my final playtime was around 150 hours. It's not hard, but you can kind of screw yourself if you're not properly keeping track of monster evolutions and skits you've seen because the game doesn't keep track of that in an effective way. You have to do it all manually, otherwise good luck searching for the ones you missed. I definitely added quite a few hours onto my playtime because I wasn't doing that from the start, but it could have been worse. It's a big relief to get this plat done. My quest to platinum all the Tales games continues. Up next is most likely going to be Vesperia. Congratulations! I keep meaning to do all of the Tales games...but I can't bring myself to finish Graces or Dawn of the New World. I really don't feel the story for either of these. I hope to do them before 2020 but I doubt it. Tales of Arise looks promising so far though, so that's something to look forward to
Popular Post jaehyun1009
#138: Horizon Zero Dawn Difficulty 3/10 Enjoyment 10/10 There is this one overused phrase "better late than never" and this game really captures the essence of this quote because I found this to be the best game I played in quite a while. I would even go so far as to say this game gives Persona 4/5 and Witcher 3 a run for its money (all games that I rate extremely highly). The story is incredibly interesting although I will not spoil anything about it. Just play this game if you haven't already. The open world is incredibly vast and feels very alive. Combat is very fluid as well, and the controls are easy to get hang of. I would say this game does have a bit of an odd difficulty curve, but that's not really a knock against this game. Currently finished with Frozen Wilds DLC story which I really liked as well, although a bit tragic at the end. Again no other spoilers. Will get all the Frozen Wilds trophies but leave NG+ UH playthrough for later.
