Popular Post Katt
Detroit: Become Human DETROIT MASTER Collected all trophies! To sum it up: Bad endings: good. Good endings: bad. I know, it's weird. The good endings are kinda incomplete. Well, the bad ones too, but the sadness is a plus that gives the ending something else. Ah yes, the latinamerican dub is flawless: great voice actors from a lot of legendary shows and movies. Just know this: the VA for Hank is the same for Buzz Lightyear and Lord Voldemort, kek. I want more games with latinamerican dubs.
Popular Post IesuHado
Platinium: 136 Boderlands The Pre - sequel Well I don't know if maybe I made a mistake going for this one as soon I was ending Bo2 but I did it anyways I gonna say it's still an amazing game. Much short and cut in content than is older brother but still good and in my opinion the story and lore is more interesting than the second one. Still I felt a bit exhausted going for this one at the end maybe to much from the same game in a month but the list are similar to boderlands 2 actually I would say more easy in some ways it's just the fact that playing the two on the same time may get bit boring after a time. Awesome game not hard to get the plat just lot of time consuming and if you like the series and the gameplay you will love it going for it anyways. Popular Post kaluna1
#41 Crash Team Racing: Nitro Fueled I didn't grow up with this game or anything (more of a Mario Kart guy), so I wasn't determined to do this from the start. I was vaguely planning to beat Tropy times and call it a day, continuing my Trials/Trackmania tradition of doing "more than most, but not everything". But as I continued playing the game (not even for trophies really, more to get those sweet wumpa coins and nitro points as I'm a whore for the cosmetics) I started to think about trying the Oxide times. I didn't wanna waste any time so I decided to start with what I thought would be the most annoying, Sewer Speedway (broken shortcut) and Dragon Mines (BS map from start to finish). If I couldn't do those then so be it, at least I didn't get my hopes up by doing the other 20+ tracks and then hitting a roadblock. They lived up to their reputation, Sewer Speedway especially I had at least 2-3 tries where I aced the first 2 laps and was on pace to stroll to the finish line before the broken, borderline RNG shortcut ruined everything on lap 3. But I got them both eventually, and from there I had the confidence to blitz through the rest, those 2 were indeed the hardest. Tiny Arena was also a bit annoying with how perfect Oxide runs through the whole 3 laps, but the track itself at least lacks annoying turns. Aside from a handful of tracks Oxide's a bit of a paper tiger really, I'm not sure why I put him on such a pedestal. Some stages you can literally fall off and still beat him. It's just those handful of stages that have super annoying turns/shortcuts that you need to just brute force your way through. Hard Adventure mode was also a bit annoying, especially Crash Cove. I wonder how many people started adventure on hard and then gave up because the first track was such BS. I'm sure some people assumed it would get even harder from there on in, but it doesn't. Crash Cove is by far the most annoying part of hard adventure mode, so a lot of people that would have given up were probably good enough to beat the rest without even knowing it. I also wonder if I'd have an easier time now that I'm a bit better at the game and have beaten Oxide times, I think I did hard adventure even before Tropy times much less Oxide. I still think Crash Cove would come down to RNG, not enough chances to drift past broken AI, and also a very open field to get railed by everyone's items. Anyways I enjoyed the game, and will continue playing it throughout the events/online/at a friends place. I still prefer Mario Kart, but I liked this more when I got used to it and treated it as 100% its own thing. MK is more about the line you take, in CTR that doesn't really matter. It's much more important to rack up as many boosts for your reserves as possible, even if the way you do it is incredibly crude. The boost system + the really meaty jumps/air control make the game very much its own thing, once you adjust to that it's quite fun. Even though I got plat I'm still pretty bad at at keeping the boost past tight turns, thankfully Oxide also sucks at that. If Oxide was as good as some of the people who have been playing this for 20 years I wouldn't be here making this post lol. Again he's a bit of a paper tiger, I believe anyone can get the plat in this with a little effort. Edited July 16, 2019 by kaluna1

Popular Post LucianaRosethorn
Platinum #12 The Liar Princess and the Blind Prince Enjoyment: 3/10 Difficultly: 2 I've always been interested in this game since it came out and it was on sale last week so I picked it up, since I'm not at home I thought a nice easy game would be great to play. Overall I didn't really enjoy it, the art style was nice, the music was nice but that was pretty much it. The levels were too simple and short and can be annoying more then enjoyable. The plot was okay, I skipped most of it besides the start and the ending which were sweet but nothing interesting. If you enjoy platform games and want something small and simple to play then I recommend the game, otherwise I wouldn't. AC Brotherhood is always a fun game (one of my fav AC) to play and Ezio Trilogy one of the best in the series. Now Revelations' turn then i'll move to Origins. Popular Post AK-1138
Platinum #285: The Assembly Difficulty: 2/10 (with guide) Playtime: 2 hours, 52 minutes Enjoyment: 5/10 Just your average first person interactive fiction game here. You know the type. Ambitious but inept. Some interesting stuff about the realities of black op science, but not written well enough to be relatable or engaging to any noteworthy degree. The production values and attention to detail when it comes to graphical worldbuilding deserves an up, though. Graphics look crisp and detailed, lighting adds to the mood, and its rock-solid 60 FPS is appreciated. Probably loses something when played outside of VR, but what can you do. Just another day at the office. A painless platinum, if nothing else.
Popular Post madbuk
#325 - Team Sonic Racing Unfortunately, this was pretty disappointing compared to Sonic & SEGA All-Stars/Sonic & All-Stars Transformed. For some reason they decided it would be a good idea to slow everything down to a complete snails pace on every difficulty below expert - and expert isn't unlocked from the start. If expert had been unlocked from the start I think I may have enjoyed it more, but even then the team mechanics get in the way a bit - it's a pretty common occurrence to finish first place and still lose because your teammates were too far behind. I do like that this game had an actual story attached to it, unlike the previous two, and it's not just boss introductions like in Crash Team Racing... The problem is, the story wasn't very good. It was predictable and the voice acting was horrible. Especially Big and Shadow, but honestly the whole cast was pretty lackluster in this besides Sonic who's on par with the other games. I'm also not a huge fan of some of the remixes the soundtrack uses, but that's not a big issue. Track design is decent and there's a good number of tracks available. Crash Team Racing is the better team racing game by far, but on expert mode this game is still worth a play I'd say. It's just a shame you have to slog through hard mode, in which you drive way too slow, to unlock it.
Popular Post DPthe32man
#61 Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled I always wished in my heart for a remake of the original CTR, but never thought it would actually be possible, even after playing it since the launch, I still can´t believe we got one! As for the platinum itself, when I was a kid, I played the original till death and back then I managed to get all Oxide trials except for sewer speedway and dragon mines. But in this remake I got in trouble with a few more tracks to get that perfect time, I thought I didn´t play so well as before, but I never gave up, and started training until I dominated SF and USF even in the tightest corners while pressing Square and R1 at the same time, I thought it would be a matter of time, dedication and patience till I got all the Oxide times. Even sewer speedway and dragon mines I didin´t leave them to the end, because If I did them sooner I taught I could do all the tracks and obtain the so wished platinum. Other than the Oxide Trials, the hard mode was just difficult at the beginning, because I didin´t think the IA would be so much more difficult than the original game. I got a blast with this remake, Im gonna play this a lot for the months to come, im loving every second of the game. Thank you Beenox.

This is President Harling of the Osean Federation. Attention, all Osean and Yuktobanian officers and soldiers currently on the battlefield. Let us put down our guns and come out of the trenches. The Osean capital of Oured has been freed of the people who took advantage of my abscence to usurp control of the country. Once robbed of my freedom, and of my ability to do the right thing, I now stand again under the light of the golden sun, and I do so with the honorable Yuktobanian Prime Minister Nikanor by my side. We have resolve our terrible and unfortunate misunderstandings, and the war is now over. This is Prime Minister Nikanor, head of government for the Union of Yuktobanian Republics. Attention, all officers and soldiers of Osea and Yuktobania currently on the battlefield. Please watch as President Harling and I stand shoulder to shoulder, hand in hand. President Harling's words are true. The war is over, but there is one more battle that still needs to be fought. We believe that those who have tried to stir hatred between us, are now preparing a weapon that could wipe out half of all metropolitan areas in either one of our countries. Our comrades are in flight as I speak, determined to stop this plan dead in its tracks. Which country is under the threat mass destruction? That we do not know. However, that is no longer important. No matter which country is hit, it would be a severe blow to all of us. So now I ask you, members of the military; If you see it in your hearts, please utilize the resources available to you and help out our brave pilots. Right now they are flying east, to meet the enemy. To those who still dare to hide behind the power of their hateful weapons: Bring yourself before the light of peace, and harmony!
Popular Post voodoo_eyes
#379 - Game of Thrones (RPG) Wasn't great, but wasn't bad either. It reminds me of a downgraded version of Dragon Age Origins. The combat is similar, but slower and the invenotry also has some similarities. Story was interesting enough, as were the characters. It doesn't look great though and it feels a tad clunky in general. Enjoyment: 6 Difficulty: 3.5
Popular Post GraniteSnake
#150: Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain (PS3) This is the only game I've ever bought as a 'Day One' edition. It's been quite some time since I've watched/listened to the story, but I remember it being quite the let down overall. The lack of any real boss fights was a major disappointment, and resulted in very few memorable moments throughout the campaign. I also didn't like how a lot of the story was stored on cassette tapes, which were boring to listen to and difficult to remember. The repetitive nature of the side ops were an absolute pain and were the main reason why I got burned out with the game almost three years ago. The unskippable mini-cutscenes every time you entered the field to start a mission were stupid as well, and got tiring after a while. There was also the unfinished story line... the cut content (mission 51) that would've at least given us some closure on some of the newly introduced characters... and all of the rehashed missions littered throughout 'Chapter 2'. Honestly I have no idea how this game got such amazing reviews. Even though I did have a lot of problems with it, I still managed to enjoy this game. The game-play for the most part was excellent, and is miles ahead of the rest of the series. The campaign was a difficult one to get through, especially seeing as I didn't bother looking at any guides on my original run, but it was fun trying to work out a good way to approach each mission. I ended up with 140 hours on my save file, but I was in no way efficient and spent a lot of time listening to cassette tapes and struggling through the missions on my first play through. Glad to tick this off the backlog, and will probably replay the PS4 version at some stage in the future. Not sure what MGS game I'll put as my next milestone, but that is a long ways off.

Popular Post Redgrave
#153: Father and Son - God of War A bit late to this one but I finally decided to get it and play it. I had expected to not really like it or it to bother me a lot due to how different it is to the previous God of War games but it didn't really bother me that much. I only really wish the combat was like the previous games or if they really wanted the camera to be the way it was, make it like the Arkham games where it zooms out while in combat since I didn't feel like the close to the shoulder style camera really complimented the combat all that well. It's fine for exploration and puzzle solving but for combat it was just hard for me to adjust to especially having down on the d-pad to do a 180 to the point where I just never really used it since it's just something I've never done in other games. It certainly wasn't great for the Valkyrie fights especially the one that would spam their charging grab attack move constantly. Some more weapon variety would have also been nice since after getting a certain weapon halfway through the story the axe just became more of a convenient tool for solving puzzles than a weapon. But other than those I thought it was just fine. Not bad but also not really something I would say was mindblowing or amazing. There were a couple boss fights that I actually liked because of the spectacle and it felt like something that would have been in a previous game. And I liked the interactions between Kratos and Atreus more than I thought I would save for one moment that they don't really explain much of but I'm sure that and hopefully other issues I had will be addressed in the inevitable sequel.

Boy did I miss out not playing the game until now.
