Popular Post Copanele
No. 60 : Apotheon Platinum name : Omnipotence Completion time : 1 week, 12 hours, 40 minutes Rarity : 6.26% (very rare) Difficulty rate : 4/10 Fun rate : 9.3/10 Hardest trophy : A hero's due - open all lockboxes THIS IS HOW YOU DO GREEK GODS IN VIDEOGAMES! Apotheon is a 2D sidescroller indie action game where you control Nikandreos, one of the survivors of a sieged village. The greek gods have abandoned the humans and it's up to your task to go and "convince "them to give back the godly gifts so that mankind can survive. The whole game is set like a greek tragedy. The graphics are quite unique ( each setting looks like an amphora painting) accompanied by a specific soundtrack that works well with the setting. Gameplay is simple and to the point : you collect weapons from boxes/crates/whatever is smashable and use them until they break. Boring review aside ... I loved this game. I have quite a passion for history and mythology ( given I keep finishing all them dumb assassin's creed games) however I was feeling the urge to play a game set properly in the greek mythology realm (god of war doesn't count. Great game but it is inaccurate as hell). Apotheon really filled that desire. Developers really did their homework and all of the 12 gods are behaving according to their mythos. Some gods aren't even "fightable " , you just have to solve their various puzzles ( leaving you to guess which god would throw a puzzle at you ). Some negative issues : targeting system is iffy and doesn't always work, the voice actors while well intended ,have the most perfect english out there ,kinda pulled me out from the greek setting. Also some key items have the bad habit to glitch through the walls forcing me to reload the game. But these are minor inconveniences (heard the initial release was a buggy mess). All in all , a beautiful game, wished there were more like it. Guess I will have to be happy with this one and Titan Quest..

The story is not bad and is well told, and I found the gameplay very rewarding, it was fun! Simple platinum if you use the trick of doing just the last chapter on Über. The rest of the trophies are related to collectibles and perks, nothing complicated. Great game I still have old blood to do, but like the Lego. And assassins creed games there making to many of these games they will become stale unfortunately, but great work dude, gave you rep

Popular Post Hanstarkiller17
Platinum #47 100% #58 Life is Strange: Before the Storm I was and am a HUGE fan of the Life is Strange games, and I've been wanting to play this for a long time. I was not at all disappointed! No games have ever made me feel as much as these games have, and the added knowledge of what happens in the original game made this one that much more bittersweet for me. While it didn't have the time manipulating features of the original Life is Strange, this prequel game held it's own very well, to the point that it's on par in my opinion with it's predecessor. I REALLY hope they make a second Before the Storm game, even though that is highly doubtful, at least until Life is Strange 2 is over, but I'm hoping nonetheless! Next up is either another Assassin's Creed game, or Day of the Tentacle Remastered!

Popular Post Hayke7
#45 -THE LEGEND OF HEROES: TRAILS OF COLD STEEL Cold Steel Conqueror Mastered Trails of Cold Steel and earned every trophy. After having earned the platinum for the sequel it was a no-brainer to come back and get this one. The games offer some really enjoyable platinums to hunt so it was once again really worth the time getting this one. Getting to re-visit the characters that made me fall for this series and see things in a new light is always a fun experience. The platinum don't really have any make or break trophies. Proper planning and some vigilance and the platinum is as doable as any out there. With this platinum I am now completely ready and waiting for Cold Steel 3 to get over here. Until then, time to never stop listening to the OST!

Popular Post eigen-space
Platinum #75 - Atelier Lulua: The Scion of Arland Atelier Lulua, 25.23% Rarity Difficulty - 4/10 , Time Spent - ~70 Hours , Enjoyment 8.5/10 Atelier Lulua is the 4th title in the popular Arland arc of the Atelier series. It follows the Lulua, a young girl that is obsessed with curry and aspires to be as good of an alchemist as her mother, Rorona. One day, she is hit in the head with an alchemy book that only she can read, the AlchemyRiddle. From that point on, she begins to rapidly increase in her abilities. Atelier Lulua is a great Atelier game. Though it does have a lot of references to the past Arland games, it can stand on its own as a great Atelier title. I believe that even people who are new to the Atelier series-- or those who haven't played the original Arland games-- would have a good time with this game. I can't say for sure if the regular references to past games would make the game less enjoyable as I've played all the Arland games before this one, but the references don't seem terribly intrusive or a hindrance to understanding what goes on in the game. The game draws from the Mysterious trilogy's way of learning recipes. Unlike the older Arland games where you-- for the most part-- just receive recipe books, the majority of your recipes will come from deciphering the AlchemyRiddle's clues. These can be anything from finding a particular material, defeating a certain monster, to synthesizing an item. The actual alchemy is very much like the Arland trilogy's synthesis process, with slight tweaks to make it better; instead of being allowed to synthesize whatever you want and see if it works out, you aren't allowed to synthesize items that are below your alchemy level. You'll also be told if you're using inappropriate items for a synthesis before you fail it (but there are benefits to failing the syntheses on occasion). You will be utilizing elemental types to gain certain effects on your items, and just like every other title, you can transfer traits to your items to your synthesis materials. Though the alchemy process isn't as mind-bending as the Mysterious trilogy, it still presents a nice challenge. Additionally, the battle in this game is FUN. This is a true lesson on how to do turn-based combat in a modern gaming society. You've got the standard turn-based inputs when it comes your character's time to fight, but you also have "interrupt skills" which your party's alchemists can use when their gauges are full; this allows you to use items that you've synthesized in battle in addition to just using them from your item basket during your regular turn. There are also 3 main characters in your front line who get to use regular attacks, but depending on which skills you use or how you get attacked, you also have two backline characters-- who can't be the target of attacks-- that will have actions they take based on those skills. For example, if you get hit with a status-inflicting attack and have a particular backline character in your party, one of your characters will get their HP healed. These sorts of things make the battle dynamic one of the best turn-based forms of combat that I've seen in a long time. Unlike some other Atelier titles, this one does require you to have a mastery of the battle system AND alchemy in order to defeat the storyline bosses whereas other Atelier titles have wimpy storyline fights and really difficult hidden bosses. There were three disappointments with this game, though. The first was with the game freezing, the second is with the game's super bosses, and the last is some parts of the story. As far as freezing goes, I had it glitch on me 3 different times, and they were all under the same circumstances. Sometimes the AlchemyRiddle will want you to synthesize a certain item in order to unlock a recipe; my game would run into an error after synthesizing the necessary item and boot me from the game. The first time this happened, I lost about 5 hours of gameplay as this game does not have an auto-save (and I'm really used to auto-saves). The game also has a couple super bosses that you will run into when you accept requests to vanquish them. There are 4 trophies related to these super bosses, and they just aren't the same caliber as the super bosses in other Atelier games (in fact, these super bosses weren't even as challenging as some of the mainline bosses). However, there was ONE super boss that you find kind of on accident, and this one does NOT have a trophy associated with it; that was a disappointment for sure. Lastly, the story... without going too much into it, you basically get tasked to "save" a certain character. The only reason Lulua wishes to save this character is because she wants to save a really good friend, but the story does not build up this friendship; the character basically pops into the story out of nowhere, you don't interact with the character much, and all of a sudden you're given the option to either save your hometown, where you've spent the last 13-16 years of your life (Lulua's age is somewhere in there) or save this person you've known for only a couple months without having any super meaningful interaction. Was a bit odd, but there are odder things that happen in JRPGs. Oh, and, this game doesn't have a time limit like the rest of the Arland games. However, this is NOT a detriment. At least I don't think so. Though some of the more hardcore fans won't agree with this statement. Overall, great game! Highly recommend playing it even if you're new to the series. It's in my top 5 Atelier games, possibly even top 3.

Popular Post Hanstarkiller17
Platinum #48 100% #59 Day of the Tentacle Remastered I haven't really played many point-and-click adventures in the past, so this one was a relatively new experience for me, and it didn't disappoint! I especially enjoyed the inclusion of the historical figures, such as Spoiler George Washington, Benjamin Franklin, and Betsy Ross. The whole idea behind the game was fun, and it didn't try too hard with time-travel, instead making it simple and straightforward. This was a pretty quick platinum, but one I completely enjoyed! Next, a couple quick 100%'s, and then The Order: 1886. Edited July 29, 2019 by Hanstarkiller17
Popular Post Viper
#166 Dishonored 2DUNWALL DAYS AND KARNACA NIGHTS Awesome game! I think the first game had a MUCH better story, but the gameplay was for more fluid and smooth in this one, with more ways to tackle missions, really making it so no two people would have the same playthrough. I still need to play Death of the Outsider eventually...but I'd definitely be down for Dishonored 3. Edited July 27, 2019 by Viper

Getting for all characters all rare weapons/all skills/lvl 30. 100% objectives in all levels in story mode. Im a huge fan of the dynasty games so i had to plat the samurai warriors games as well. Kunochi is the best character to get the 100 floors done in survival tower imo, cuz with her r1 move shes invincible for few seconds. Popular Post Phoenix_argentea
Platinum trophies Nos. 129 & 130! Bloodstained ~Ritual of the Night~ Overlord I've never played a Castlevania game (well, there's Iconoclasts which is similar) and I read that is was made by the same creator (actually it's a Castlevania with a different name...?). It was very fun! I finished the main story (reaching the true final boss) after 20 hours, because I like exploring and filling the map, but also because I got the way to the final boss blocked by O.D., so I spent some time grinding, finding better equipments and levelling up a lot of shards (by the way, I found by accident that maxing out the yellow shards you obtain permanently that ability. If only I had known it earlier... ). After beating O.D. I came back to the library to find him again... Masked in a stupid way... The castle has a lot of different areas (water channel, desert, fire or ice caver, cathedral, sorcery labs, train station, towers. Seriously, this is a world, not a castle! ), but my favourite was the Twin Dragons Tower (which had also my favourite boss), probably because the music of this area reminded me MediEvil (and I still don't know why...). And your character acquire a lot of abilities, like double (and triple) jump, reflecting beam, dimensional shift, and swimming (but this last one is really horrible. Casting water magic through water is not swimming! And dodging those stupid spikes is really annoying in this way...) Then you have the grinding part, since you have to acquire every single item, and you need gold, which you can obtain dismantling a drop weapon using a liquid called Alkahest (which is drop by painting, but better by the ghost of the desert), so you need to grind the weapon and the Alkahest. And also grind other drop, like orichalcum. This grinding reminded me NieR, since you need a lot of stuff, but it's not brutal as NieR, since the drops are quite generous (for example the flying beef has a 1% drop, but I obtained what I needed in a very short time). Maybe the demon shards have a lower drop %, but when you raise your luck and equip the proper rings also this grinding is relatively easy. So I ended up with 27 hours I put the Final Fantasy XV soundtrack while I was grinding, and I was looking for the lily's tails in the train station, then I noticed I was hearing Cartanica (the calm and soft piano music of the station in FF XV after the disaster in Altissia). Perfect time! Of course it wasn't the same situation, but it suited the train station! Probably there are also a lot of easter eggs from the previous series, like the Celeste's room (with ghosts and carillon), the painting with the moving eye or the piano in the silent garden (the place where I decided to earn the platinum) and a 8-bit level (probably referring to the previous game, which I'll surely play!). There are also a lot of chairs, but some of them are jumping stairs! And also a jumpscare on the train... Finally, the platinum screenshot. I didn't customize Miriam, I'm not a huge fan of free customization, since I usually like what the developers create, so my Miriam ourfit could be boring. I simply put her hair completely black, removing the red shade, nothing more! And good equipments, like the rainbow scarf. I really love it! LEGO Legends of Chima Triple CHI Legend Nothing to say, another LEGO game. And with this I've officially cleaned my LEGO PS Vita games backlog. This is the first LEGO game which doesn't require a 100 % for the platinum. Yes, you don't need all the characters token or the collectibles pages in the different hub areas. And maybe it's not so bad, because this game isn't really friendly about the collectibles. Only 10 levels, which are long (for a LEGO standard), you can't select a mid section of the levels and the collectibles detectors only work when you are close to the token or treasure, so you can miss some of them (and you need to replay the level from the beggining), but luckily, once you find it, you can quit the level and save it. I know nothing about the Chima series: it was interesting, but the ending of the game seems unfinished. Probably is related to the animated series... Anyway, another platinum screeshot with a Raven Tribe member: And now I can finally start Atelier Shallie Plus! ? Popular Post MidnightDragon
#46 Dragon Sinker A quick, easy, fun RPG. Nothing can be missed and everything is pretty straightforward. It's a nice throwback to NES era RPGs. You will have to grind a lot in the postgame for one of the trophies, but the dungeon leading up to that is a good place to do so. Before you essentially fight an endurance boss, there's a boss you can fight over and over and it's a good place to level up. There is a lot of backtracking for the sidequests, so be warned. Still, since you need to level up a bunch anyway, it's not really a problem. Definitely worth a look!
