Popular Post StilRh
Plat #150 Dragon Quest Builders 2 Fun: 8/10 until endgame grind then 5/10 Time: 60 hours, some of those were afk for end game trophies Really charming, fun, polished game. It builds on the strengths of the first one, my only gripe is pacing, some things could have been streamlined a bit.
Popular Post RedRodriguez87
#243: Does whatever a spider can! I'm on sort of Spidey game binge right now, and after answering someones' thread about other good Spider-man games, I figured I might as well go back to this one. This was once my first Spider-man platinum from my very first account from 8 years ago (time flies, don't it?), so it feels nice to have it again. Clocking in 3 days in completion time, I can't rightfully say this was a taxing platinum, a tricky moment here and there, but nothing smart playing can't solve. There variety in locals and enemies are still unmatched, and I can easily pick out a high point from each dimension. There is wide variety of flashy attacks to unlock and use, and as a step up from the Amazing series, involve player input (well, more than a button press anyways). The four characters' basics manage to be familiar to where you can seamlessly switch between them, while having enough individual flair to keep it from being boring. The Web of Destiny is a great little activity book of sorts, asking you to really explore different ways of playing the game. The game has shown it's age though; There are common video game things, like only 5 enemy types (window-dressed to fight their universes), combat being in conflict with the interactive environment to where your moves and actions in general can be interrupted by a piece of terrain, an absolutely terrible lock-on system that would rather target the throw-able trashcan outside the camera's view rather than the enemy right in front of you currently kicking your face in, and a camera that's tries to be dynamic and epic in-game, but ultimately always gets in the way and interferes with what you the player are trying to focus on. But to me the worst ones were ironically the ones meant to be unique to this game. This game was the first that introduced what it unoffically calls "stick-em powers" where Spiderman will gravity to ANY perch or railing to prevent falling off. While I thought it was cool and fitting at the time (8 years ago), it really REALLY feels rough and unpolished in hindsight. Unlike in Amazing, where he will only attach himself to a narrow place when the button press, in Shattered Dimension he will do it ALL THE TIME, LIKE IT OR NOT; there were too many times when my forward jump momentum was destroyed because the game thought it be better to plant me on top of a light-post when I was trying to jump past it. We also got these REALLY stupid POV moments during cut-scenes and boss-fights, the former of which feels awkward and unbelievable due to the complete lack of momentum and gravity as you fly through the air like a paper plane, and the latter which end serving NO PURPOSE outside of wasting time to pad out boss-fights in a game of punch out. And I mean wasting time; all they are is punch punch dodge affairs, the same punch animations, the same enemy attack animations, over and over and over until the game decides its OK for you to move on. But if I were to list one unforgivable sin, it would the games' refusal to shut the hell up for one minute. Whether it's the enemies calling you out because you haven't hit them yet, Madame Web giving out advice that you already know (or even an idiot can figure out) and berating you for standing still more than 5 seconds, or Spidey stating the obvious on his current situation and cracking the same fucking joke 5 fucking times in a row in the same fucking fight, The game is a constant unending stream of noise noise noise. And what, you think because a level's tone is now suddenly more serious, it'll stop? lol no, now instead of the same dumbass joke parroted across all Spideys, now it's just one (or two) OMG SRS quote over and over and over again! And, at the risk of being mean, Dan Gilvezan was the worst casting choice for any of the Spidermen, fanservice be damned. *sigh* And still, I wonder what could have been if fate had more kinder to Beenox. The game mechanics didn't all pan out, but I could tell where they were coming. The game is filled to brim with fan-service, references, easter eggs, and a Spidey voice-acting veterans returning to be apart of the experience; it is, by all accounts, a love-letter to the series. I gave this game alot of spider-shit, but I know for a fact that there was just so much love and care put into it AND all of their other games. It's why I'm still kinda bummed out by Beenox not being the makers anymore. I'm willing to bet actually money many of their games' faults where NOT directly by their own doing *cough*Activision*couch*. I really do hope that somewhere down the road, they come back just one more time to make that Shattered Dimensions 2 they wanted. lucky0ne16
The sinking city. Was not too happy on how the game was displayed. A lot of backtracking and was hard to get into the story and understand what was going on.
Popular Post eigen-space
Platinum #76 - The Liar Princess and the Blind Prince My Truest Self, 50.66% Rarity Difficulty - 2.5/10 , Time Spent - ~8 Hours , Enjoyment 8/10 The Liar Princess and the Blind Prince is a puzzle-platformer meant for children, but that doesn't mean that adults can't get some enjoyment out of it as well. This game does an excellent job of storytelling in a very fairy tale/storybook-esque way. It tells the story of a wolf whose beautiful singing voice is admired by a prince. One night, the wolf accidentally blinds the prince; in order to help the prince regain his eyesight, she gives up her singing voice (to a witch, Little Mermaid style) in order to be able to transform into a princess as the prince would be terrified by her wolf form. The game's mechanics are pretty simple: the princess form has one set of commands she can use-- holding the prince's hand to guide him, jumping-- and her wolf form has another set-- jumping higher, ability to attack enemies. You are also able to give the prince commands to pick up and carry certain items. All of these actions allow you to make your way through relatively simple platforming puzzles-- triggers to open up walls, moving platforms, trampolines, etc. Things never manage to get boring despite being relatively easy as every chapter seems to offer 1 or 2 new mechanics that keep you on your toes. The game has an interesting trophy list as well; you've got typical story trophies, collectibles, finding a "hidden" spot in a certain level, speedrunning levels, and beating levels without killing any enemies. Keeping in mind that this is a game meant for children, the collectibles are done really well in the game by having you a little off the beaten path, and the game keeps track of all the collectibles you've obtained (and how many you've missed). The speedruns are actually quite fun, unlike most games where I want to pull out my hair during them; so long as you actually complete all the puzzles correctly, you'll have plenty of time to get through even if you aren't running the entire time. The only ones I wasn't a fan of were the ones that requires you to let the prince die... I don't like trophies that make you fail. My only complaint is that there was only one boss fight in the entire game. I think even for a children's game there should have been more than just one boss fight. Oh well... Overall, pretty easy and fun game. Don't expect a whole lot-- this game is meant for children! But everything the game does, it does really well-- soundtrack, artwork, puzzles, story. I would recommend it if you're looking for something short, cute, and done really well. Also-- a tip if you do play-- pay attention to the credits, read the story that goes along with the collectible flowers... this game does a good job with storytelling! Second tip-- maybe have some tissues handy. Not saying I cried during the ending, but not saying I didn't cry...

This game is really fun, the graphics are original, JoJo Bizarre references If you're not used to fighting games, this platinium will be a pure pain cause you will have to do all the trials (56 trials) and some of them requires a decent timing. The other hard part of this platinium is Marie 300%, you will have to beat her a** via time out Personal Difficulty : 4/10 Fun: 10/10 Time to 100%: 10 hours, 35 minutes (#3 Fastest Achiever) PSNP Rarity: 0.89% #41: Dead or Alive 5 Ultimate I did it with the PSnow, so it's the PS3 version. Popular Post TraumaticChain6
#55: Men in Black: Alien Crisis Difficulty: 3/10 Enjoyment: 5,5/10 Rarity: 35,36% So I'm going to be honest here. I have never seen a Men in Black movie and only played this game because I wanted to play a short and easy game. This game is an on-rail third person shooter that is not that good. Cover does'nt really help to protect you and at the end of the game I was just not using it anymore. Also the enemies think they are in COD: WaW veteran because they are spamming grenades that are hard to dodge. Enemies blend in with the envoriment so they are sometimes hard to see. Also there is a chance that they get behind you and can still shoot at you and throw grenades and there is nothing you can do if that happens. The story of the game is not good and I was loosing interest very quick. There are also no subtitles which I find really stupid in a game from 2012. Visually the characters look really bad and I'm not someone who is going to critique graphics quickly. Some good things the game did was that there is some variety. Like flying with a car and shooting at aliens (which is not that fun because their is so much stuff going on and they placed objects in your way that are impossible to dodge), some interrogation sections and even a sort of point and click section (where you move really slow that it's not even funny). But I need to be honest that some of the levels were fun to play and the second time I played the game it was'nt that much of a chore anymore, but still nothing amazing. Yes you read it right, I played it a second time. You need to unlock the highest difficulty by completing the game once. That's a way to make your customer the game longer. The game itself is really short, I beat it the first time in 4,5 hours and the second time in like 2 hours (skipping the cutscenes), but some parts feel like an eternity. The final boss is a real mess to. Spawning little enemies that you can't see, healing 3 times to like half her health. This makes the final boss take longer then it should be. Trophy wise it's really easy but there is one trophy that can just die in a fire. You need to dodge mines in the flying car but the hitboxes are really bad. I got hit multiple times when I wasn't near them and there was one mine where you could just fly through. All in all this game can be a little fun but my advise is to just not bother at all.
Popular Post Copanele
No. 61 : Injustice 2 +100% completion Platinum name :World Destroyer Completion time : 1 year, 10 months, 6 days Rarity : 2.57% (ultra rare) Difficulty rate : 6.5/10 Fun rate : 8.5/10 Hardest trophies : Winning is fun! - win 10 ranked matches Cat fight - Catwoman must defeat Cheetah with the final hit coming from Cat Call Finally managed to finish another fighting game. Injustice 2, while not as good as Injustice Gods Among Us in terms of story, it definetly surpassed its predecessor gameplaywise and content. I believe this is my favourite Netherrealm game, if not one of the best fighting games I have ever played. I definetly would pick up this game over any other mortal kombats. Nothing much to say about this game, I thoroughly enjoyed it but it's basically DC superheroes whacking each other out for ...reasons, the platinum was a wild ride though, I have to admit. Not only you have to actually learn this game , the grinding itself for the platinum is insane. What I liked : -Combat is fluid with sick combos. As mentioned, probably the best Netherrealm game out there. -Each character has one swell personality, it's obvious that the devs did their DC homework( just considering the items, descriptions and references, nothing is random in this game). -The Multiverse system (basically living towers from MK) is hella fun ,each with weird constraints and whacky modifiers. -The ability to upgrade and tweak your chars as you desire -The guest characters!!! Darkseid, The Ninja Turtles, Starfire, HELLBOY!!!!! I LOVED THE GUEST CHARACTERS. So fun and enjoyable to play as them. What I didn't like: - Too many motherboxes. Everything gives you motherboxes. I felt overwhelmed. Like ok, sure, thanks I guess... at least they don't force you to buy them with real money. - The story was unsatisfying. I didn't like it. Injustice 1 and the comics were great. Injustice 2 story was...eh , reason to whoop each other asses. Pleasanties aside, the trophies were both satisfying and a major pain. While boosting the traditional trophies (win a perfect match online, win with 10% HP while opponent has 90% etc) , the 10 wins in ranked cannot be boosted unless you are extremely lucky. Honestly, game being fun as it is, boosting the regular online trophies just subtracts from the fun. Ranked forced me to "git gud" because noone there was a beginner , you had to learn the combos. The online portion was very solid. The less fun part... levelling each char to lvl 20 and winning as catwoman with cat call. while levelling up chars can be done, getting cat call for catwoman was one of the most infuriating trophies I have ever had to deal with, mainly because I had to praise to the almighty RNGesus for a drop. I went for the Legendary Multiverse which guaranteed the catcall drop but the conditions for activating it were atrocious. In conclusion, I recommend this game as a solid fighting game, but be prepared for a long grind if you decide to platinum it
Popular Post madbuk
#327 - Tales of Hearts R This was fun. I'd say it's the weakest Tales game that I've finished, but there's still some enjoyment to be had. The characters were quite forgettable besides, arguably, Beryl, Gall and Ines who at least have some interesting traits. The overarcing plot was pretty generic and by the end I just didn't care anymore about anything that was happening. Combat was fun though, pretty fast paced compared to Vesperia which I recently started (and now that this is done I can continue without feeling bad about neglecting this), although I barely experimented with the different artes. I also didn't really bother playing other characters because Kor (the main guy) was quite strong to begin with. I hate the random battles in this. They're so intrusive and get in the way of exploring and puzzle solving. It's the same issue I have with the Final Fantasy games, it's just tedious. I'm so glad that other Tales games let you see the enemies and choose to engage them. I usually kill everything on screen anyway for the XP, but at least then I dont have to worry about being interrupted when I'm trying to solve a puzzle or find chests. Another thing that was very disappointing is the lack of a dub. Every other Tales game I've played has had one and to go from those to this was rather disappointing, I'm always a dub > sub guy. Despite my grievances with this one it was a fun 50 hour romp that didn't ever feel too grindy or tedious (if you can look past the random battles like most JRPG players probably can.) It was nice to see the Vita be supported with a Tales title and it's a shame we never got Innocence R over here too, but oh well. Plenty of other Tales games still to play.

Popular Post panikooooos
Call of Duty: Black Ops III (Ps3) Difficulty: 7/10 Enjoyment: 3/10 Yeah where do I begin with this one. It's basically a game for the Ps3 that shouldn't have been made for the Ps3. Everything about this sucked. I was intrigued when I saw the low completion rate cause I thought this would be a challenge. To my surprise only like 1 or two trophies were kind of difficult, the rest is just multiplayer grind upon grind upon grind. The Ps3 version doesn't even have a campaign so they went all out with the multi trophies making you complete whole challenge sections etc. The multiplayer of this game is infested with hackers, aimbot, god mode, hacked lobbies with advertisements I've seen it all. Everything is dead except Team Deathmatch so good luck boosting the other game modes. Servers are p2p so every game is completely infested with lag, host migrations, connection interrupted almost every single game, I'm not being hyperbolic here. The "people" playing this game are literally all <90 IQ, you can expect the typical cringy [WEED], [GIRL] clan tags finishing games with 0.2 kds as your teammates, inaudible screeching while music is blasting from their $5 mics etc, I was easily the top scorer in 90% of the games but it didn't even make me feel that good considering how bad everyone playing this game is. Also why is every lobby infested with french kids calling my name shouting "Allo" and "Salut" again? I don't even live in Western Europe. Zombies are also complete shit, they managed to ruin the one good thing this series had for it. They changed the A.I. and made all the zombies way more aggressive for no reason at all, zombies used to be the gamemode for people who wanna relax and have fun with friends now it's become this monstrosity of 2 dozen steps just to unlock pack a punch while zombies and zombie bosses chase you at extremely high speeds. p2w gobblegums etc.. Who enjoys this, seriously? I still play Black Ops 1, kino, ascension, moon etc with friends but Bo3 zombies? No thanks, never touching it again (maybe if I decide to get the dlc) (fuck) Oh yeah and some honorable mentions, 3 minute delay for every trophy (last one took 6 minutes no I'm not kidding), constant friend requests from people with level 1 profiles, 15 fps slideshow of a menu, maps with under the map glitches which are not patched 4 years after release (people love to pick that map), let's see what else.... Oh right, one time I got kicked for inactivity because I was controlling a killstreak (Cerberus) for too long, think about that one. Campers everywhere, I basically played hide and seek most of the games.... Yeah I think that's it, there's more but I don't wanna think about this game for too long or I'll get brain damage. Sadly I will have to see this plat every day since it is now my rarest lol. Why this is such a rare plat I do not know. Sure there's trophies that need boosting but hell Max Payne 3 needs boosting and is also 10 times harder yet isn't as rare as this one ?. Probably all the lag? Who knows boys. Off to the next one.
Popular Post supercanaries
Horizon: Zero Dawn Difficulty: 3/10Enjoyment: 9/10 This was such an incredible game to me. It spoke to me since I first saw it, and when I bought it and played it, I was blown away by everything about it. I enjoy the mix of strategy and action in the gameplay, I loved the story (in fact, I cried more than once while telling my friends about it), I loved the characters. Part of me thinks I took so long to plat it because I wanted an excuse to go back it, which I now largely have with the Ultra Hard Mode and the DLC. To be honest though, I think I would still play it even without those and with 100% completion. It's just been one of my favorite games on Playstation. Hadn't felt that way about a new title for a very long time.

I liked the added story with Fetch and how her past was touched upon. It does a great job setting up the events of Second Son.
Popular Post Conor
#35- GOD OF WAR III (PS3) King of the Hill Enjoyment: 9/10 Difficulty: 4/10 Time Taken: 6 Days, 23 Hours, 48 Minutes (20 hours in-game) Rarity: 2.6% Ultra Rare (PSN) / 16.28% Rare (PSNProfiles) Hardest Trophy: Unhuman (Gold)- Beat Titan Mode "Hope is what makes us strong! It is why we are here! It is what we fight with when all else is lost..." Although I was big into the God of War series on PS2 and PSP, because I never had a PS3 I never got to see how Kratos got his revenge on Zeus after the events of God of War II. Now that I have gotten the platinums for the original trilogy, I can safely say that this series deserves its place not only among PS exclusives, but franchises in general. Although the story is typical GoW fare, it is still interesting to see this interpretation of Greek mythology playing out. As Kratos, you massacre your way through the Olympian pantheon in order to exact revenge upon the gods for their betrayal of you in the previous game. In terms of gameplay, not a whole lot is changed from the previous entry. You retain items such as the Golden Fleece and the Icarus Wings but you gain some sweet new weapons like the Claws of Hades and the Nemean Cestus. Whatever weapon you equip also determines what magic you can use at any given time, although it is very easy to switch about. A little disappointing to not have a means of petrifying enemies as you please but that is a minor complaint. Otherwise, the combat is as visceral and gory as ever, though the improved engine and hardware means more enemies can be onscreen at one time, making for even more gory goodness. Never has it been so satisfying to tear through countless hapless hordes, spilling their insides on top of yourself. Graphically, the game is very impressive, and holds up against some early to mid-life PS4/Xbox One releases. It just really looks that good, although there are some background textures (such as those eagle statues as you climb up the chain) that look pretty ugly, but you're not supposed to be focusing on them! In all, another excellent entry in the series that isn't running stale for me as of yet! While I intend to work on The Last of Us multiplayer for now before the servers go down, I am also looking to the future, as I still have Ghost of Sparta and Ascension to plat, then perhaps the PS Vita and GoW III Remastered before hitting the latest masterpiece.

I have now platinumed all current SAO games (Well, the Vita one doesn't count because the PS4 version is the superior version imo). The thought of playing as your own character other than the beloved (imo again) Black Swordsman himself, Kirito was amazing. But you can still play as him in Kirito Mode. So now all I have to do is get the DLC trophies and then eagerly await the next SAO game which will be based on the Alinzation Arc. Until then, I need to rest.

Popular Post Masamune
Master Unlock all trophies. Difficulty: 3.5/10 Enjoyment: 7/10 Playtime: 13:04:44 (3 days, 6 hours, 8 minutes, 45 seconds) It wasn't half bad, not sure why it gets so much hate. I kinda enjoyed the pure platforming with just some boss fights (if you can call them that ?) in-between the levels, & I really loved the art style they used for it too, it reminded me of Gravity Rush... or maybe Okami? I did find it a little weird that this game didn't have a single thing to do with time travel though (considering the other game all focused on it), & that ending... seriously? The trophies are pretty easy, as long as you check & work on them starting from the very beginning. The hardest ones would probably be the combo-based trophies (14 hit combo, & all combos), & even I managed to get them pretty easily. Now I did use the patch glitch which let my get the 12 hour, & under 100 deaths trophies extremely easy... beating the game in 12 hours would've been easy though, mine took 13, & I know I wasted 1-2 hours trying to find some of the more well hidden light seeds. As for the 100 deaths... I'm quite certain I went over that limit, so thankfully that saved me a lot of saving/reloading. ? Sure, the campaign was pretty short and the story was left kind of open-ended, but that didn't lessen the enjoyment for me at all. The combat was fun and the weapons were pretty unique and interesting. I loved the setting of the game too, which just added to the fun. I'm sure this game could've been completed a lot faster for me, but I spent extra time searching every area fully, as I did not use a guide for the collectibles, of which there are 77! I can understand why people who bought this game for full price weren't too happy, but i picked it up on sale for around $5, and it was worth every penny!
