Popular Post bbaauuiiss97
#374 Bravo Team I was looking forward to playing this, but it ended up disappointing me quite a bit. It was fun for the first chapter, but after that I found it very repetitive and bland. Generic, dumb enemies just spawn in endlessly as you slowly move from cover to cover, that's the entire game. The movement is also really awkward since every time you move, the camera stays behind until you've reached your destination, can be really disorienting. Would be so much better if the camera followed you and you were able to shoot while moving. I also encountered some bugs, several times I got killed by an enemy who was behind a wall, I could see his shotgun clipping through the wall and it killed me in one shot with no way of fighting back, and other times when I'm sure I'm completely behind cover I still get hit somehow, very annoying to deal with. Also one time my AI partner just completely froze up when I was in need of a revive, he didn't shoot or move at all while I slowly bled out. Thankfully the game was short so it was good for a 5-hour plat ? Edited July 31, 2019 by bbaauuiiss666

Popular Post Zach
#135 Kingdom Hearts Enjoyment: 9.5/10 Difficulty: 6/10 Time: 70hrs After playing this game, I'm so sad that my parents got me the Gamecube and original Xbox (Although I'd never give up the memories of Halo and Mario games) and not the PS2. This game is purely magical and I enjoyed almost every single second of it. Even with some of the grindy trophies, I never found myself bored with it. I'd say my top 3 worlds are Aladdin, Hollow Bastion, and the Coliseum. Aladdin is in my top 3 because I'm biased since Aladdin is my favorite Disney movie of all time. Hollow Bastion is beautiful and the level designs are super creative in my opinion. The Coliseum is challenging and really fun in my opinion. The coliseum challenges remind me of the God of War challenges. I know this game came out a couple years before God of War, but I played it first so that's why. What a magical journey. If you like Disney and Final Fantasy then this game is the perfect game for you. I enjoyed this game so much that I may even get a Keyblade as my second tattoo. ?

I love this franchise (glad it's back!), but the third game doesn't quite live up to the originals. Unoriginal alternate skins (they're all recolors and everyone except Deadpool only gets one...), zero exp gain for undeployed roster members (thanks for the usual grind, Team Ninja), that weird Star-Lord hair, dodging/blocking/extreme attack being mapped on the same buttons, very few interesting collectibles (and far too many ISOs), and a limited ability upgrade system are just some of the bad differences in this new Nintendo-exclusive sequel. It's still a fun game with a decent story and some great playable characters (both new and old), plenty of franchise-new bosses and NPCs (even if it's weird to hear Black Widow voicing Hela), some fun infinity rifts, and a nice but grindy alliance upgrade system. At least it has no glitched trophies (MUA2's PS4 version had the Undefeated Heroes trophy glitch on me, delaying the platinum by a day xD). Popular Post starcrunch061
10 years in the making... Plat #346: Star Ocean: The Last Hope STAR OCEAN THE LAST HOPE -INTERNATIONAL- Platinum trophy Congratulations! You've collected every last STAR OCEAN THE LAST HOPE -INTERNATIONAL- trophy! I'm gonna rant here a bit. Star Ocean 4 is a pretty good game. It's not the best Star Ocean, but it's more than playable. But the platinum is a joke. And worse, the plat really magnifies the myriad design flaws in the game. While killing Gabriel Celeste 14 times for a single BT, you begin to wonder why the shortcuts you open in the Seven Star Dungeon don't stay open. While defeating the Ethereal Queen 5 times to make every item, you start to wonder why you have to climb the same 20 floors of the Wandering Dungeon again and again. Was it really that much of a betrayal of their difficulty/integrity to allow some shortcuts to persist? How many of you missed a treasure chest? I did. What about a quest? Yep, that's me, too. How many times did the game crash while you were grinding out 30000 kills for Arumat? Or Edge? Or looking for 255 anthropology drops for Bacchus, Meracle, Myuria? Did you get blindsided by a crash...while grinding out 1000 blindsides for Edge, or Arumat, or Meracle? What about a crash while you were jumping 10000 or so times for Sarah? Or getting Lymle to die, over and over? What a pile of crap this quest was. Am I happy that I got the plat? Yeah, sure, but more than anything, it's a (rather lackluster) reminder of the hours I spent wasted on this game. The only positive for some of the BTs was that I exercised a TON while doing them. God bless my stationary bike. And finally, I don't know how to create a copyright symbol on the site, but the plat name and description actually have 4(!) of them embedded in the text. Further, for the PS4, all of those copyrights turned to trademarks. I don't understand how Square can trademark the phrase "The Last Hope" anyway.

Popular Post Spinosaurus Rex
#121 - INFAMOUS: FIRST LIGHT Difficulty: 3/10 | Enjoyment: 7/10 | Plat rarity: 22.36% Short, but sweet latest Infamous title. Not too story focused, a pity because Fetch could be more interesting character than Delsin Rowe. The main dish here however is not the story, but the arena mode where you fight for your life in Infamous' style. There was a bit of a grind, but not enough to be bored. Platinum rarity is lower than Second Son's, but I wouldn't say it requires more effort. Surviving 30 waves in 2 arenas was easier feat than completing SS's expert IMO.

Popular Post Ala-Arska
Dragon Age: Inquisition (PS3) (Platinum #500!) Dragon Age(TM): Inquisition Platinum Trophy Collect all the Dragon Age(TM): Inquisition trophies Please don't let it be Green Lantern please don't let it be Green Lantern... I can still remember that feeling when I had zero Platinums and getting even one seemed insurmountable. But I got the ball rolling with Final Fantasy XIII-2, and 499 Plats later I stand at cool five-o-o with this masterwork DA: Inquisition was not a clear choice to celebrate this milestone with, other sequels were eager to fill that spot too. Dragon Quest XI, Final Fantasy IX and Persona 5 all called out to me, but eventually I let the randomness of dice decide I already had this on PS4, so I knew what excellence was waiting for me. Minus some DLC's, sadly. Graphically, it's not as impressive as its big brother (especially with face animations), but it's still easy on the eyes. Music is awesome. It's grandiose, orchestral and gets my blood pumping in every big monster encounter. Die, dragon, die! I liked the whole "marked for greatness"- story, except I would've used a more impressive final boss. This felt...recycled. I made my Chosen One as nice as possible, always choosing the most positive options in every dialogue wheel, a real Captain America! Romancing your trusted ones was cool and funny as well, from romantic Josephine to...erm, more rough Iron Bull. I still can't believe Iron Bull is voiced by Freddie Prince Jr.! Especially when I think about the things we did together...trust me, it wasn't pretty Landscapes are varied and plenty to choose from, from swampy Fallow Mire to vast and furious Hissing Wastes. Pretty and deadly. Even when I was ready to finish the game, there was still SO much left undone. I could've easily spent 50+ more hours into exploring. Now I used "just" 80 hrs for my first, easy and missables playthrough, and another 60+ for my Nightmare Farmthrough Extra hours were spent for the one extremely negative aspect in Inquisition's PS3 version: loading times and numerous freezes. Technically the whole package was very unstable, so random crashes waited around every corner. And sneak-f**ked me 'bout 15 times... The only way to "counter" this was to stop moving AT ALL when the game auto-saved... (Great when it does so every 5 minutes and lasts for a minute, I got really gud with picking my nose...with toes ) Despite this nuisance sucking all kinds of balls (monkey, elephant, rhino, Iron Bull), I didn't let it stop me from having a jolly good time. Dragon Age: Inquisition is greatness in all forms, as is the whole franchise. Perhaps the next one is ready for my 1000th? Popular Post voodoo_eyes
#382 - Horizon Zero Dawn Had a good time with it overall. A somewhat refreshing open-world experience with some interesting mechanics. Was a bit disappointed that you couldn't ride every machine and that the upgrade system/weapon selection was a bit lackluster. Still considering buying the DLC as well, if it's on sale again in the near future. Enjoyment: 8 Difficulty: 4 (on normal difficulty)
Popular Post kaluna1
#42 Watch Dogs 2 Probably the best of the Ubisoft Sandbox™ games I've played. They're generally the same thing with a new hat, but this is probably the coolest hat. Fun environment and some cool gameplay mechanics. Jumper, drone, car disruption and calling gangs/police on people are all very fun. Trophy wise it was mostly simple. No missable trophies and the collectibles could all be found without an external map, which I always appreciate. If I have to laboriously use an external guide to find/do things that always increases the chance I'll cbf with plat even if it's easy. And the list encouraged you to try pretty much every aspect of the game, down to the sail races and putting a false APB on a donut man. But I had the most bizarre roadblock to play of any game I can think of. My final trophy (like 4 hours of play between 2nd last and last) "Complete 5 Dedsec events". Innocuous description and pretty common (42% achieved on this site, 28% on general PSN which is especially common by general PSN standards). There's a bunch of rarer trophies in this game, to say nothing of the 1000s of simple trophies that are rarer than 42% on this site/28% on general PSN in other games. But those damn events just refused to pop for the entirety of my playthrough and then some time after. Eventually got them doing co-op, but even that didn't go smoothly due to some unhelpful online partners and bad RNG (can only assume it's RNG based). The events themselves were easy to beat, if only there was a more reliable way to attempt them. Oh well, it's done now. But I can't think of another game I've played where my final trophy/roadblock was a such a middle of the road trophy. Popular Post Masamune
Platinum Trophy Get all Trophies. Difficulty: 4/10 Enjoyment: 8/10 Playtime: N/A (2 days, 12 hours, 2 minutes) Screenshot: careful where you open this, it has a stripper in it! Spoiler Probably one of my favorite plat shots to date though, it has a bad-ass sniper rifle in it (which I positioned to look like smoke was coming out of the barrel), a good view of my watch (has the correct time, it even matched my timestamp of the plat), & as mentioned above... a sexy lady. I'm glad I decided to play this again before Exodus, I don't know how much of the story is connected to it, but I definitely needed a refresher course on it. ? As fun as ever though, I'm interested to see what changes Exodus has in it, I know it's more of an open-world game, but that's about it.
Popular Post ahmedelebiary
#122 Under Defeat HD Deluxe Edition Fun 7/10 Diff 1/10 (with infinite credits and a second controller ), (8/10 without). This was the first time I played a game of this genre (Shmups?), the game was really hardcore at first for a noob like me but after sometime you get used to controls and gameplay.. you still die from one shot though. Six playthroughs are needed for plat, each one takes less than an hour and a little bit over thirty minutes. What I enjoyed most about this game was the soundtracks.. they were amazing and well made.
