#78: Wolfenstein: The Old Blood
I preferred New Order by far. Didn't like too much the story and in some sections of the game I got a bit bored. Still a pretty good game though.
Platinum talking, as with New Order it's possible to get the Über trophy simply by completing the last chapter.
In addition to this, there's also challenge mode, where you have to play at least on "I am death incarnate!" difficulty in order to get the gold on all the ten levels. However it's still very doable and apart from a couple of maps I did almost everything with no problem.
Platinum #4 Detroit Become Human
I never actually played any Quantic Dream game so this was my first experience. With the game being free with PS+ this was the perfect oportunity to try it out! Overall it was an enjoyable experience, at first I was amazed by the amazing graphics and the little details. Even the startscreen that talks to you and sometimes feels right creepy when she is saying thing that apply to you at that very moment.
The first playthrough was definitely the most enjoyable for me. I went in blind without knowing anything, I haven't seen any spoilers somehow throughout the years. I was decently satisfied with my first playthrough except some regretable mistakes I made near the end. On the bright side this only made me want to replay it! This time I decided to follow the guide here on PSN. I already collected quite a few magazines and trophies on my first run but the guide was perfection for the magazines that I have missed. After the pacifist playthrough I jumped into the violent playthrough, the choices for this playthrough were quite fun to see. I wouldn't have made it without a guide, the Connor related trophy would be hard to miss on my own.
After the 3th playthrough I only had a few cleanup trophies done by chapter select. Overall it was a great experience especially the first playthrough. The beginning is a little boring after the first playthrough, that is the reason I gave it an 8 out of 10. If you are in the same position as me and never have tried a Quantic Dream game now with both Heavy Rain and Detroit being free I can only recommend it! Bioshock which I started before detroit will probably be my next game to platinum. With Rayman Legends on the side, doing the daily challenges for approximately 2 more weeks or so.

Platinum #86 - NORN9 Var Commons
Took me a while to finish this one in between packing and other games, but I finally finished it. I thought it was an interesting idea that it had three protagonists to pick from instead of one, but after playing it I feel like it would have been better if they had just stuck to one. (Mikoto) There's also 9 different routes to choose from, but since there's so many they tended to be less detailed than some other visual novels. You also ended up with some routes that were really interesting to play and added a lot to the game, and others that were just trash and a pain to get through.
Even in spite of some of its short comings I did like it enough that I'm interested in playing the side games. Have to see if I can get them at a decent price sometime.

#151: Uncharted: Golden Abyss
My first Vita exclusive platinum and I'm glad that it's come from one of my favourite video game series. Definitely a solid entry in the series, with the only real let down being it's sub par story. The new characters introduced weren't too interesting, and if it weren't for Sully being introduced halfway through the campaign I don't think I'd have laughed once at the dialogue. There is also an over-abundance of collectables scattered throughout this game, which forces you into following a video guide to guarantee you find them all. This made the second play through on Crushing rather tedious, given the stop-start nature of following a video guide.
Visually this game is pretty impressive, especially the character models. Platforming was typical of the Uncharted series, and I really liked the touch-screen feature allowing you to navigate Drake with the swipe of your finger. Weapon combat took a little bit of getting used to, but pin-pointing your shots using the Vita's motion sensor was a refreshing take on aiming/shooting. The touch-screen sequence for the 'boss' fights was quirky, and added some much needed difficulty to the Crushing run. You essentially couldn't make a mistake, so these sections ended up needing pretty quick reactions to get through.
Regarding the trophy list itself, it's very straight-forward and features no difficult trophies. Some kill-grinding is necessary in order to pick up every Bounty, but nothing too extreme. Overall a relatively enjoyable game, but not one that I'd lose sleep over missing if you are a big fan of the series and don't own a Vita.

God of War - PS4 (#225)
"Father and Son"
Just stunning. I saved the final portion of the story to get the platinum and it was just amazing. Glad I saved it for a milestone.
Having recently played the first 6 games from the series, I found this game to a nearly flawless evolution in almost every possible way. The game updates the fighting mechanics to be more dynamic and active, the puzzles with the assist, the epic boss battles, challenges in the form of multiple realms, and a more fleshed out, grounded story.
The biggest drawback I found, and really the game's quality and presentation quickly dismissed this issue: the open-world RPG-ness of the game. At the very beginning, the tiny menus and UI plus the large world to explore were a big departure from the first 6 which were straight forward hack-and-slash adventures. But as the story progressed and the world's depth became apparent, that drawback became an asset, by increasing the challenges and the lore in the world.
The Valkyries were a serious challenge and the Queen is likely the most challenging boss across all of the God of War games. I played the entire game in Normal difficulty and it was very tough to get past her. I am very glad to see the the Challenge Rooms were not brought back formally, although Muspelheim's trials were their analog. They were way easier than any of the prior Challenges in the earlier games.
I can't wait to see Santa Monica Studio's follow up to this masterpiece.

#146 - Call of Duty: Ghosts Federated
Earn all available Trophies for Call of Duty® Ghosts
I was looking forward to playing this, but it ended up disappointing me quite a bit. It was fun for the first chapter, but after that I found it very repetitive and bland.
Generic, dumb enemies just spawn in endlessly as you slowly move from cover to cover, that's the entire game. The movement is also really awkward since every time you move, the camera stays behind until you've reached your destination, can be really disorienting. Would be so much better if the camera followed you and you were able to shoot while moving.
I also encountered some bugs, several times I got killed by an enemy who was behind a wall, I could see his shotgun clipping through the wall and it killed me in one shot with no way of fighting back, and other times when I'm sure I'm completely behind cover I still get hit somehow, very annoying to deal with.
Also one time my AI partner just completely froze up when I was in need of a revive, he didn't shoot or move at all while I slowly bled out.
Thankfully the game was short so it was good for a 5-hour plat 😆

#419 Vita version of Super Wiloo Demake
After playing this game, I'm so sad that my parents got me the Gamecube and original Xbox (Although I'd never give up the memories of Halo and Mario games) and not the PS2. This game is purely magical and I enjoyed almost every single second of it. Even with some of the grindy trophies, I never found myself bored with it. I'd say my top 3 worlds are Aladdin, Hollow Bastion, and the Coliseum. Aladdin is in my top 3 because I'm biased since Aladdin is my favorite Disney movie of all time. Hollow Bastion is beautiful and the level designs are super creative in my opinion. The Coliseum is challenging and really fun in my opinion. The coliseum challenges remind me of the God of War challenges. I know this game came out a couple years before God of War, but I played it first so that's why. What a magical journey. If you like Disney and Final Fantasy then this game is the perfect game for you. I enjoyed this game so much that I may even get a Keyblade as my second tattoo. 😍
What most annoying about this is that it's free this month on PSN.

#7: Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2 (PS3)
Decided to finish getting the platinums for these in local co-op with my brother (just like how we played through the original on Xbox, the sequel on PS3, and now the third game on Switch) after finishing the first two playthroughs of Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3. I love this franchise (glad it's back!), but the third game doesn't quite live up to the originals. Unoriginal alternate skins (they're all recolors and everyone except Deadpool only gets one...), zero exp gain for undeployed roster members (thanks for the usual grind, Team Ninja), that weird Star-Lord hair, dodging/blocking/extreme attack being mapped on the same buttons, very few interesting collectibles (and far too many ISOs), and a limited ability upgrade system are just some of the bad differences in this new Nintendo-exclusive sequel. It's still a fun game with a decent story and some great playable characters (both new and old), plenty of franchise-new bosses and NPCs (even if it's weird to hear Black Widow voicing Hela), some fun infinity rifts, and a nice but grindy alliance upgrade system.
At least it has no glitched trophies (MUA2's PS4 version had the Undefeated Heroes trophy glitch on me, delaying the platinum by a day xD).
