Popular Post Elvick_
Platinum #181 Brave Platinum Earn all other Trophies. Mediocre, but pretty fun time. Other than the need to farm money to upgrade everything. That was super tedious. Nowhere near as bad as some other games (Disney Universe...) though. Basically tells an inaccurate summary of the movie's plot for it's plot. The puzzles are okay, and thankfully this game is smart enough to let you skip them upon replaying a level. Yet, they didn't have the foresight to let you skip ingame cutscenes which made doing the final level over and over more tedious than it had to be. I basically never used the sword combat lol. Brave difficulty wasn't too bad overall, other than some areas that were annoying with tons of big enemies. And the final boss' fire stage was a nightmare. The collectables were easy to find, didn't even have to look up a guide for it. Sometimes the camera is a huge problem, particularly bosses or those enemies that run at you since they get off screen a lot. Oh and when you fight as the Mom as a bear you control like crap and it sucks. It's not hard thankfully, but it's just annoying. And you always have the same animation afterwards to see her run off and Merida tumble on screen to go "mum!" and it gets annoying after the first 3 times it's reused. It's in almost every level, if not all of them. Just bugged me a bit. Some framerate problems and stuttering if you move too quickly through a transition while it's autosaving. And it froze once. The main menu screen is surprisingly beautiful. It's a shame something like that wasn't used for the trophy icons instead. The cutscenes in the game are more like a painting, so they could've repurposed that stuff. Rather than all those ugly ass medals. Oh well. Played on PS Now.

Don_carlito94
#50 Platinum trophy Redout Redout Master Thanks for Playing! 5.83% Saved my 50th plat for Redout because I love this game and the genre in general - futuristic arcade racers ish. Plat was somewhat challenging too especially getting a platinum medal since the devs made the platinum times much harder, but I realized there were easier events after I got the trophy. No matter though, it was fun nonetheless. Such an underrated game! Edited August 25, 2019 by Don_carlito94
Popular Post Eyjabria
Dead or Alive 6 (PS4) DEAD OR ALIVE 6 Master Unlocked all trophies. Funny story behind choosing to play this game. I was playing Project Zero: Maiden of Black Water (aka Fatal Frame: Maiden of Black Water) on Wii U and Ayane was a playable guest character. I realized I had never played any Dead or Alive games despite having played a lot of fighting games. I remembered DOA6 had looked interesting and conveniently it happened to be on sale. Noticed the plat rarity was something around 20% so I figured it can't be that difficult so I should be able to plat it too. Hadn't played any fighting games in years really and it took a while to get used to the mechanics and controls of DOA for someone who is most familiar with Tekken's control scheme. The tutorial lessons gave a good introduction so I didn't have to button mash my way through the whole game. Quarter circles and half circles are the bane of my existence and Dualshock 4 didn't seem like the best option for diagonal movements. Got a sore thumb from D-pad. The first thing I noticed is that the visual presentation is really nice. Characters, costumes and environments are nicely designed, modeled and animated. There are cool details like sweat dripping down the characters' faces and bodies, clothes getting wet or sandy when falling down, bruises and scratches appearing on characters' faces or their clothing getting damaged when hit by powerful moves. Accessories fly off and hair gets untied too when the going gets rough. Stages are destructible and they expand as barriers get shattered. Didn't expect to see so much humor in the game. Stage hazards like flying dinosaurs and krakens snatching the players were delightfully silly and the story mode had some parts that raised a smile. The characters are likeable and interesting. There’s a couple of new characters in the game and I was surprised to learn the new tiny blue-haired scientist girl is from Finland. I see the developers haven’t been to Finland. Otherwise they’d have known Finns are giants. Like amazons that tolerate sub zero temperatures. I mean, the average height of a female here is 165 cm, so NiCO being 149 cm seems a bit unrealistic. Maybe she hasn't been fed as a child. I’m almost 30 cm taller than her. But I admit I like joulutorttus too which are NiCO's favorite food. There's a good amount of single player content which seems rare in fighting games these days. I liked the branching story mode and DOA Quest where you need to clear certain objectives during the match. Audio department is handled well. Sound effects and music make combat a pumping experience and there are some catchy pieces on the soundtrack. You can choose between Japanese and English voices. Now to the bad points. Loading times seem pretty long even when I’ve just had a match in the same stage with the same characters. When a match takes like 30 - 90 seconds it’s not fun to be sitting around and waiting for the stage to load for 30 - 45 seconds. The costume unlocking system is grindy and annoying. By playing certain game modes you get points towards unlocking a random costume. You might get 133 points but the costume needs 1000 points before you can purchase it from the wardrobe. And the next points are awarded for a totally different costume so you end up playing for 2 hours and may not have gotten any costumes at all. In addition to this the clunky interface won’t even let you see which costumes (and for which character) have been unlocked for purchase at a glance when you head to the wardrobe - you need to inspect each of them separately to see if you have fulfilled the required points… The UI shows all DLC costumes in the same list, making sure you won’t forget them. I can imagine how annoying it is for a completionist seeing how something “hasn’t been unlocked” yet because you haven’t purchased something with real money. DLC pricing is atrocious. Season pass costs more than the game. And there are two of them. For some reason the DLC characters cost twice as much on PS4 compared to Steam and on Steam you can apparently buy just one costume for one character but that isn’t an option on PS4 because they are sold in bundles. If you wanted a wedding costume for the girls only, you’d have to buy two bundles… yikes. DOA6 is a fun package and as a filthy casual I was satisfied with my purchase. There’s eye candy and humor to make time fly by when kicking derrieres. As Marie Rose would say, “I believe I shall take out the garbage”.

Popular Post Ala-Arska
Dead Nation: Apocalypse Edition (PS4) Romero Would Be Proud Collect All Trophies I'm on the way to the promised land. I'm on the Highway to Hell. Not that long ago I completed this on PS3. And loved it. Instead of repeating myself, I'll tell you a story about Jack. Jack is in his late thirties. Jack is alone. Mostly because he's the only human around. The rest are zombies. But he was alone before. Before the outbreak. Before everybody was eaten. Alone. But never lonely. See, Jack loved TV. A cold beer and reality shows was all he ever needed. That's all gone now. No more Heineken. No more Jon and Kate +8. No more Love Island. No more Honey Boo Boo. Just zombies. As far as the eye can see. And that pisses Jack off. They took Bear Grylls away from him. No Survivors left. Except him. He will survive. Now Jack hunts. With guns. With explosives. With shock cannons. With me. Join the hunt. No rest for the undead

Popular Post GarciaFever
#194 Tekken 7 I can't begin to describe how awesome it was for me to play this game. It is a shame that I never grew up with this series, and that my only previous Tekken experience was that of Tekken Revolution. So when I saw the gameplay for this, I knew I had to get it eventually. The one thing I like is that every character has an equal opportunity to be good in their own way, which is almost very rare to see in a lot of fighting games. Yes, you can get a general idea on which characters are considered "high-tier" if one were to watch a lot of fighting game tournaments (some consider Devil Jin really OP, but I never touched that character, nor do I plan to), but nobody can argue that Tekken is one of the best games to watch during said tournaments. The story mode is pretty much non-existent, but I liked how they introduced Akuma. That said, Akuma is an asshole during the special chapter fight. On 3-star difficulty, I can't even land one attack since he is always teleporting away just like how Goku uses instant transmission. Had to revert to the easiest difficulty, and even then it took me a long time before I finished that chapter. I wish that every developer would take notes from this game in regards to the trophy list. With only a small amount of online trophies that require very little effort to achieve (win one ranked match, one tournament battle, and rank up), it is nice that I can be able to focus all of the time on the offline portion of it. Nothing is deemed too difficult, so a player with zero fighting experience can be able to pick up this game and become relatively good at it within a short amount of time. I can't wait to try out the new DLC characters that will be coming in the next several months.

Popular Post The_ThunderIord
#46: SUPER STREET FIGHTER IV (PS3 Version) I've played this game since day 1, and all I can say is that i'll never play this again, cause it was just a pain to play this game that I loved so much in the past... After 3000H of gameplay this game feels so boring and the trophies for me were just an ez boring grind. This platinium has an only one difficult task if you're not a good VSF player, you have to do all the 840 trials and some of them requires some good execution (Fuerte,Viper,Guile) After that, you have to play all 35 base char arcade mode in max difficulty, if you struggle just lost and pick zangief to spam Lariat The online mode is the most repetitive part (Luckily, I have a Yun on master rank on my previous account so my online portion was 3x faster ) Next Platinium: The Metronomicon: Slay the Dance Floor Personal Difficulty : 3/10 Fun: 2/10 Time to 100%: 2 Days, 23 Hours (#1 Fastest Achiever) PSNP Rarity (Platinium): 0.68% PSNP Rarity (100%): 0.24%

Popular Post sasu_naru
#9: Took me longer than expected, because I fucked up a little bit with the endings. I'm happy I got it done, eventually. I didn't expect much with this "game" tbh, but I ended up liking it! I think it has a solid price/performance ratio. (10€ on EU PS-Store) It has a high replayability for those that aren't aiming for the platinum because of various endings and dialogue options. If you're interested in interactive games & like thrillers then give this one a shot. Edited August 25, 2019 by Kitsune

It is an ultra rare, even more rare than Rayman Legends, which was 'harder'. Had a blast playing it, would recommend it if you like old school graphics and like the prison theme. Will 100% this later, dlc wasn't expensive. Good game for (couch) co-op too. Next up: Steins;Gate I think.

Popular Post Viper
#170 Spyro 3: Year of the Dragon Party Like it's 2024 Well that's the Spyro trilogy done. Made Plat 150 the first game, 160 was the second...so naturally you see where 3 needed to land. Honestly, I don't know if it's just because I wasn't really in the mood to play this game (I did so because it was time for Plat 170), or because I just don't care about any other game right now, I'm so beyond ready to play Borderlands 3. But I didn't like this game much. The first game was a nice treat. I never played these on PS1, so I didn't have nostalgia bias...so going in completely fresh I liked the collectathon platformer aspect. Then the second game stepped it up a notch, it had a little variety better world layouts, the story was more engaging. But this game...I don't know, I was bored most of the time. It really felt like every world was just the same blueprint over and over. The side characters missions were a nice idea, but fell flat for me. The skateboarding was annoying. Sparx's missions were even more annoying. They tried to make everything so....uniform, and I feel like it hurt what they did so well in Spyro 2. Though when it comes down to it...I'm having the most fun when it's JUST a collectathon platformer. I don't need all the fluff that tries to make it into something than more than it
Popular Post IntroPhenom
Platinum #48 Dragon Quest XI: Echoes of an Elusive Age Living Legend Current rarity: 22.21% Enjoyment: 8/10 Time played: Just under 150 hours I read that some people consider DQXI the best Dragon Quest game. I can't comment on that, since I haven't played any others, but I will say it is great, once it gets going. For the first 40 hours (no exaggeration) I was somewhat bored - bored with the enormity of the RPG cliches (too many to recall), bored with Erik's 'captain obvious' dialogue, bored with how new attire didn't change my character's appearance, etc. Slow beginnings in games never bother me, so long as they're interesting, but that's one thing DQXI can't boast: an interesting beginning. However, right after you meet the baddie for the first time, things pick up. The graphics are gorgeous, with the best looking parts of the game being the cut scenes and pep power animations, which are a sight to behold. Combat is good, turn based, fighting, which I like. I happily ran around doing quests, talking to NPCs, clobbering every monster I saw. Like many RPGs, the shops are pretty useless, spare one or two key items not easily obtained elsewhere. Any armor you can buy in a shop you can make on your own, or sometimes find in a treasure chest. Same goes for weapons. I quickly learned that a shop in a newly entered town may have things I hadn't yet seen, but the recipe book for crafting my own wouldn't be far away. The characters are all enjoyable. Gemma is a pathetic creature who's existence depends utterly on what her man is doing, spending her day waiting for the Hero to return. Kind of sad in this day and age to see such a weak female character. Thank goodness for the party members, who are well developed and stand on their own. The trophies don't make you do every little thing, aside from craft all of the appearance altering attire. I didn't have to win every horse race (mercifully), didn't have to slay every kind of monster (though I would have been happy to), and didn't even have to do every quest. One quest was skipped, I think. Weird use of the concept of post game, too. The game isn't really over until for the first time until you do all of the 'post game' stuff. The credits don't even roll until then, unlike other games. Great credits, too. I won't spoil anything, but they're fun to watch. All in all, if a special version of DQXI game out with a new trophy list, I'd play through it again.
