Maybe we have hope of an official trnaslation of Crossbell games since Falcom wanna realese both games on PS4. I mean we can play until now almost all except Crossbell with an official translation. Is very interesting because you can find something very similar between Trails in the Sky and CS... but of course you must play first Sky to see it (: you should do it, the first chapter is only 40 hours and the second chapter around 60 h I've already played sky and crossbell on PC, i'd love for PS4/5 re-releases in English though is what i was saying. I can't read a lick of japanese so i don't really feel like following guides just to navigate menus and the like.

Maybe Crossbell has more chance than Sora no kiseki for an official english translation, and it's a shame because the EVO version is absolutely splendid and it has full voice (even the subquest)

Popular Post Khain24
Most Recent Plat for me is Shenmue 2. Difficulty: 2/10 Enjoyment: 6/10 for most of the game. 1/10 for the Yellow Head Building/Guilin part (rant below). I have mixed feelings on this game. It was entertaining for the most part but the controls don't age well and there is a lot of un-needed gameplay interruptions. And now a time for a mini-rant: Also, while I don't hate QTEs, this game is excessive with them. Between the Yellow Head building and the forest part at the end of the game, I don't think I've ever experienced a more tedious stint of game play in my life...and this is coming from someone who took the time to Plat RDR2. By the time I got to Guilin, I was just skipping as much conversation/cut scenes as I could just to end the game. Also, not entirely sure why the creators felt the need to interrupt gameplay with annoying mini conversations everytime I found the stairs leading to the next floor or everytime we snuck past a few enemies. What I was expecting to be maybe a 1-2 hours to finish (from start of Yellow Head Building) took like 6. The exact same floor layout for 17 floors with like 3 or 4 guard ambush QTEs for the first few floors each...followed by the same exact chase sequence QTE 4x on the same floor repeated on 2 or 3 other floors, followed by a quasi-stealth sequence that they felt compelled to make you do 4x on the same floor....its just artificially prolonging the game. Then the "2 day walk" to the village felt quite literally like 2 days with probably 8 versions of the same running through the woods sequences. /end rant Now having played the first 2, I'll feel compelled to continue the story in Shenmue 3 at some point but it will likely be a bargain bin buy or a PS+ freebie. As a final note... It bothers me when games can't stand by themselves. I'm a believer that each game should be able to be a self-encased story in the event the next game doesn't get made or people just never play it. Shenmue series is a perfect example IMO of poor story telling since you get no real conclusion at the end of either game.

Popular Post ahmedelebiary
#125 Alice: Madness Returns Fun 9/10 Diff 4/10 What a fantastic underrated game this was! Ideally I am not an Alice can by any means but I really enjoyed this game for many reasons. The story was interesting; dark, disturbing and depressing. The level design was amazing. The characters and voice acting were too notch.. Music was quite good and fitting and finally the costumes and Alice's dresses were really beautiful. My only complaint was that the chapters sometimes felt repetitive and unnecessarily long.. Also the ridiculous amount of collectibles but other than that it is a magnificent gem I'd happily recommend. Used the nightmare difficulty trick to save myself some time and effort then a little chapter clean up for the collectibles I missed in my main playthrough. Such a fun enjoyable platinum overall.
Popular Post StilRh
plat #155: Control Fun: 8/10 really fun combat, exploration and discovering "paranatural" lore was really my jam. Difficulty 5/10 was fair, a few bosses caused me to die once or twice but I didn't feel like I ever got stuck. Nice enemy and environment variety, back tracking for missions was not a bother. The story was interesting but I feel they could have had a more interesting ending and there was a lot they could have tinkered with to improve the story telling. Popular Post D-Square23
Dishonored: Definitive Edition. Not a hard game and I really enjoy the story and dynamic of both the Ghost/low choas and high chaos murder spree story variations. I'll probably try to 100% the DLCs now but after this i'm headed to complete Dishonored 2

Popular Post Stormverse
Remnant: From the Ashes What a fantastic game. The gameplay is extremely smooth and I didn't really encounter any issues with the latest patch. My only gripe is that the randomness of the worlds can make getting the last few trophies a bit of an annoyance. I had to do 4.5 playthroughs to get everything done. I definitely recommend if you like shooters or souls games, or if you played Immortal Unchained.

Popular Post Zircon_Lotus
Platinum #68 Warriors Orochi 4 I enjoy the Warriors games very much. I dont even know how many hours I put in Samurai Warriors 2 back on the PS2 days. They werent as much, but I also ostensively played the Xtreme Legends and Empires versions. Couldnt play SW3 because I never had a Wii, but some years ago had a blast playing SW4, and the experience with 4-II, Empires and Spirit of Sanada were as good. Even though to this day I still havent played a Dynasty Warriors game, I also enjoyed both Orochi Warriors back on the PS2. Both games were harder than SW2, and although it was a crossover, it was like the characters had gained another identity, which is good, since they're in another world, it fits the theme. Each mission felt unique. And although it is on my backlog, I decided to skip 3 and play 4, expecting it to be as good as the latest SW games and the first two Orochi Warriors. But I was wrong. Instead of developing smaller groups of characters like on the first two, they decided to mash them all together and use the idea of a colossal and ever expading army of the finest Warring States chinese and japanese officers. But what could be interesting turn out to be boring, because the relationship between the characters doesnt get enough development. At a time a group of officers get more spotlight, and then, suddenly, they disappear, and only appear many chapters later. It's like almost every character doesnt matter. If they used the same formula of the first games, I think the characters would get more interesting, since they could explored outside theris historical contexts. Now talking about the gameplay, it is also disappointing. The characters play like in theirs respective games, but the game is just too easy. Even in the chaotic run I didnt die once. If you pay minimal attettion you just breeze through the game, with isnt a good thing. The missions only have three objectives, and they many times are too similar. The fact that there arent many maps, in addition to the lack of objective diversity, doesnt help in making the missions interesting. The presentation of the game is good. The menus are well thought, and everything is easy to find. The OST, at least to me, is good. Still talking about audio, if you like japanese voice acting you're in for a feast. If you prefer english dub, you will be left disappointed, since the game doesnt have one. The graphics are on par with the others Warriors games. My conclusion is that Warriors Orochi 4 games is a average game. If you're a fan of the genre, you may come to like it, even with is blatant flaws, like ended up happening to me, even though I left it for a few weeks before coming back. But if this is your first Warriors game, you will probably feel disappointed, and I strongly advise you to play SW4 and its expasions. Cant recommend any DW, since I never played one.
Popular Post CabDK
Wolfenstein 2: The New Colossus Dificulty 9/10 Enjoymemt 10/10 Wolfenstein 2 is an amazing game. The "Mein Leben" trophy is in my opinion, what places the game at the very top of great shooters. The tension of a Mein Leben playthrough is something I never experienced with a game before, and because of it the platinum has become one of the great ones. The game itself is a lot of fun, great gunplay, story and characters.
Popular Post ShonenCat
Platinum #38 - Soul Calibur VI Difficulty Rating 4/10 Enjoyment Rating 7/10 Very Rare - 9.49% Fastest Achievers - #6 Anyone here old enough to remember what it was that made a Soul Calibur game so great back in the day? It wasn’t the guest characters. It wasn’t the fact you were playing a faster paced Tekken with swords. It was the amount of content you got for your money. I can recall spending countless hours in front of my CRT unlocking a buttload of characters, stages, weapons and gallery items for Soul Calibur 1, 2 and 3. Fast forward nearly two decades later, you would think the sixth installment would have more to offer than it’s predecessors, but fails to even match those in comparison. For example, all these season pass shenanigans give developers an excuse to hide additional content behind paywalls. Soul Calibur 6 has 21 characters and 11 stages in it’s base game. Let’s compare that to it’s predecessor Soul Calibur 5 which has 28 characters and 27 stages. What happened, Namco? Were you taking a piss when you chose to develop this in the Unreal Engine and have all the 3D female models have such manly shaped faces? Anyway, onto the platinum. It’s much easier and simpler than Soul Calibur 5, that much is for certain. You’ll spend most of your time playing Libra of Soul. This is the pseudo RPG mission mode (why do developers think these are always a good idea for fighting games?) where you take a created character across Europe, reading unvoiced dialogue that you’ll be skipping before your first hour is over. What’s worse is that they expect you to do two playthroughs of this crap. One time for the good ending, the other time for the evil ending. I say screw that and try to keep your alignment as neutral as possible till you hit chapter 5. Once you reach that far, back up for your save file and go for the ending your alignment is stuck on. When you pop the trophy, reload the save file and go about doing your 30 Astral Fissure Sealing missions to get your alignment to the other side. This could take a long while, but just keep at it... I can confirm it worked for me. Doing other side missions might help too. I believe the Nightmare fight sets your alignment really far to one side, so be aware of that. You can do everything else in Libra of Soul once both endings have been achieved. Everything else is pretty self explanatory. You’ll do some arcade runs, some character story modes and online matches. Winning 5 ranked matches is probably the trickiest for most people, but if you block low and sweep low you should have little to no trouble. Use Inferno after he’s been unlocked to cheese most of these tasks, including Arcade mode on Very Hard Soul Calibur VI is a fine game on it’s own with some awesome guest stars like Geralt, 2B and Haohmaru, but it’s base game leaves you with very little unless you plan on buying $30 season passes. Tekken 7 suffers from the same practice, but gives you more in it’s base game, so I would have to recommend that instead. Tiresome DLC practices or not, the legend will never die ?
Popular Post The_ThunderIord
#47: Injustice: Gods Among Us Ultimate Edition (EU) OMG this platinium is boring, the Star Labs missions are EZ but repetitive and clearly useless... Otherwise, the main (and only) difficult task here is to beat "The Max" arcade mode, hopefully the trophy guide on this site is perfect and will help to do this with the beautiful Solomon Grundy . You must avoid Batgirl, if you see that you will have to face her just leave and retry cause she is near impossible to beat with this method. The online portion is boostable in private match with turbo controllers, as well as the LV100. Popular Post voodoo_eyes
#390 - Pillars of Eternity Loved (almost) everything about this game. Gameplay, story, characters, quests, game world, soudntrack, voice acting, all of it was fantastic. Then there are the technical issues, a lot of loading screens (whatever you think is a lot, multiply it by 10), occasionaly freezes are a bit rough to deal with. There are also a ocuple of annoying bugs and a trophy that's completely down to luck. I however played the old school CRPGs (Baldur's Gate, Icewind Dale, Neverwinter Nights, etc...) to death when they released. As such I ended up getting exactly what I wanted out of Pillars of Eternity. Enjoyment: 9 (would've been a 10 without the technical issues) Difficulty: 4.5

Popular Post Viper
#171 Final Fantasy XV The World Wanderer Well...this was my first real dive into a Final Fantasy game. I played one when I was like 4 or 5 years old on the NES, never had a clue what I was doing at the time, and played VII for like an hour on PC back in the year 2000 at a friends house...but I hardly count those. So I decided my first REAL taste of the series might as well start with the latest installment. I heard the outcry of negativity and disappointment over the last few years...but sometimes you just have to see for yourself. And...everyone was right. This was a game I was okay with when I started it...and the more I played the more and more disappointed with it, I got. There's nothing really redeeming about this game outside of some cool combat moments and a nice soundtrack. The characters, outside maybe Noctis, are extremely annoying (I hate Prompto!), the voice acting sounds like the worst anime dubs you can think of...as a matter of fact, the voice acting for the NPC's is borderline offensive. Everyone's made to sound like a white trash redneck...and it really makes no sense why. The overworld game mechanics...felt like Square Enix wanted to make this epic open world game...but chose all of the WORST open world mechanics to use. Such as the entire exploration is very "go around your ass, to get to you elbow". That your mission marker right there? Well too bad, there's this fence here and you have to walk for 15 minutes in the other direction to get back to this same point on the other side....this was the WHOLE game! The driving is either you driving manually completely on rails, or watching the car drive itself on screen for however long it might take to get your destination. There's fast travel...but you have to pay for it! The day/night (or should I say night/barely ever day light) cycle has something to do with the story...but but it's very annoying early on when you feel like you get 5 minutes of play time then have to camp because Daemons are too much for you to handle and pop up every 30 seconds. The story is also a clusterfuck, a lot of it is you having to fill in the blanks, because shit just happens for the hell of it...or is told more in the Episode DLC. They basically made it so you have to pay for parts of the story that should have been there. If I can give this game ONE major kudos. Best hair physics in the industry! Wooo hooo! Overall...I wasn't impressed. This isn't going to make me jump for joy when Final Fantasy XVI is announced. Maybe the Remake of VII will change my mind. I was an idiot and wasted money on the season pass...and I don't even think I want to bother with the DLC.
Popular Post panikooooos
Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater Difficulty: 4/10 Enjoyment: 8.5/10 Yet another masterpiece by Kojima's team, if you're a Metal Gear fan you will not be disappointed. A great storyline with all its intricacies which keeps you constantly thinking and trying to figure stuff out, revolutionary stealth mechanics, memorable boss fights (although bit too easy for a MG game), insane amount of details (flora, fauna, codecs, physics), the chemistry between fictional characters, it all checks out. The ending is up there with some of the greatest cinematic moments in gaming and rightly places the game among the greatest videogames ever made. Play this, if you haven't already. ~So this is the legendary Boss? We meet at last.~ Edited September 5, 2019 by panikooooos
