Popular Post parkerdip
Platinum #63 - Assassin's Creed Odyssey Another Assassin's Creed platinum to add to my list and this is probably the best one. There is so much to do and I took my time with it doing as many side quests as possible with the platinum alone taking around 100 hours of play time. Today I have just got the platinum and now I am going to work on the 100% which currently has another 43 trophies available.
Popular Post IntroPhenom
Platinum #49 Game of Thrones (PS3) Lord of Ironrath Current rarity: 39.75% Enjoyment: 9/10 My second time through this game, and I do like it, but that's not to say it isn't without fault. The approach to the story is clever; the game positions the player outside of events that happened in the show, like the Spoiler red wedding and Joffrey's poisoning , and instead of witnessing them firsthand, you hear the commotion and react from afar. If you're familiar with the show, it's neat to know what's going on inside despite no visual clues, and works well to introduce the playable characters. What doesn't really work so well is the hazy, oil painting like art style. Much of the outline of everything appears as though its under water. It's just weird and distracting. I had no issues running the game, though many seem to have. Everything went smoothly until chapter six, when mouths moved but no words came out, everything froze after the platinum trophy popped, leading to a manual rebooting of my PS3. Thankfully whatever was wrong was minor, and it rebooted quickly. Kind of an open ending, too. A sequel would feel late, given the show's run being complete, but who knows? The books aren't done, after all. Edited September 5, 2019 by IntroPhenom
GraniteSnake
Playing catch up once again. Feeling lazy so I've just copy/pasted most of what I've said during the summer backlog event. Nice to have these games done and dusted. #157/158: Claire (PS4 + VITA) I started Claire on the PS4 first as I knew it would only require one play through. The EU version didn't receive the latest patch which meant I could simply load my last save and in return the game automatically switches the save file to the highest difficulty (Nightmare), saving me a play through. I thought the story was great, and I wasn't able to figure out what was actually going on until it was revealed during the final scene. Definitely worth reading through all the dialogue, it would be a shame to skip it all for the sake of a quicker play through. I followed the excellent text guide on here and I got my platinum in just over three hours. I finished the VITA stack shortly afterwards. I started off with the 'Nightmare' play through which wasn't bad at all. A few sections required more than a couple attempts, but it was smooth sailing for the majority of the run. I then ran through the game again on 'Story' difficulty while focusing on the collectables and achieving the good ending. Glad I gave this game a go, was worth it for the story alone. Not a game I could've enjoyed/finished without a text guide, just simply too many doors/different routes to take. #159: Forma.8 I decided to play Forma.8 on the Vita although in hindsight I wish I didn't bother. The game was poorly optimised for the Vita. My game crashed around 5 times total, and the frame rate drops were frequent and very noticeable. Sometimes the game would feel like it's about to come to a complete stop, and this really took away from the overall experience. Do yourself a favour and play the PS4 version if you have any interest in this game, it's simply not worth playing on the Vita. The game itself was pretty average, nothing special. It mainly consists of a whole lot of exploration and a few puzzles here and there. It never got too difficult though and was actually quite relaxing to play most of the time. The soundtrack was nice and so too was the art style. #160: Rocketbirds 2: Evolution The game was okay I guess, again nothing special. It was filled with humour though, I'll give it that. The story consists of six chapters which feel like a bit of a drag in the beginning, but actually became a lot more enjoyable as the game progresses. The second part of the game consists of a rescue mode, which is made pretty trivial thanks to the free DLC that was made available for this game. Installing this apparently causes one of the trophies to glitch for some people, but luckily for me everything popped when it was supposed to. There wasn't a difficult trophy and it was all pretty straight forward from start to finish. Yet another game that suffered from constant FPS drops on the Vita, when as little as 3 or 4 enemies entered the screen at once. Really noticeable and quite annoying, I think it may have made the UFO Hit and Run trophy easier though, so I won't complain too much.
Cmoud13
Days Gone. Just because it was easy platinum, but at the end of day I am glad its over. Overrated game, boring. Popular Post Dr_Mayus
Alpha Plat Rain - JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Eyes of Heaven I don't know what to say about this game. I started off hating it but then grew to not completely hate it...I guess that's a compliment. It was a Namco game so I was expecting it to play a little like Soul Calibur but instead it played like a beat 'em up but confined to a very tiny spot that was ironically also too large for a fighting game . The camera also was freaking out all over the place. So often the camera would go into the wall and I couldn't see who was beating me up. I never felt like I got better at the game...just my characters got stronger. I don't know it was just a weird fighting game that wasn't really fun and I think would have done a lot better in a proper fighting arena with 1 on 1 fighting and a lot less characters (as most of them were completely useless). So yeah...not what I was expecting but just 6 letters left DEFIQX
mackenzie129
#63 I'm always just too lazy to do the grind on mp (looking at you hardline) The only true difficulty is the dang 10 planes 30 seconds which I had to do 2 times thanks to my circuit popping Would recommend to bf fans and WW1 fans
Popular Post HailHale81
Platinum #500 Grand Theft Auto 4 Difficulty 5/10 Enjoyment 7/10 Time 54 hours This game was a good amount of fun and playing GTA 5 first I can definitely see where they got most of the changes from. This game is no where near a 10/10 difficulty like the guides say especially if you boost the mp. Sp is really like a 3/10. The only thing I hated was that there wasn't a silencer for a gun. Got really tired of shooting a collectible and having the cops chase you. I want to thank @ProfBambam55 for making such a great mp guide. He made it a piece of cake to follow and have everything pop when it should. Also want to thank @Mapa for all the mp and co-op help. Now I just need to play the older games. Seems like I'm playing the whole series backwards haha. Edited September 6, 2019 by HailHale81

The new one is a mario run clone. Which I didn't realize until I booted it up.
Popular Post FluffyAssassin64
#116 - Detroit: Become Human "DETROIT MASTER" Collected all trophies! It's hard to review / comment on this game without spoiling anything, so I'll do my best Detroit is the latest in David Cage and Quantic Dream's "interactive story" saga (for want of a better word), and - in my opinion - is the best of the bunch. I loved Heavy Rain, enjoyed Beyond: Two Souls (thought not as much), but Detroit was incredible. Why, you ask? The production value on display here is top notch. From graphics (lighting, weather effects, environments), to facial capture, voice work and music, story and character development... I'm hard-pressed to think of anything about this game that wasn't super polished or well-designed. Gameplay is a similar fare to past games - generally comprised of exploration, and QTE's for action sequences - but it's all mixed together in such a away that it (nearly) always felt appropriate for the scene. You play as 3 different android characters across the game, with very different stores; presenting both up-front and more personal aspects of the android-human situation. Even the menu screen is an android None of this would matter if you (the player) didn't care about the characters / story, and oh boy; you're in for a treat. Important 'partners' to the major characters are introduced early, and they all go a long way to helping them - Connor, Markus and Kara - develop across the story. I really, REALLY don't want to spoil anything, but I think it's safe to say that there are several emotional scenes here that stand among the best in the medium. Some of the (over 50?!) endings are a real sucker-punch, while others are beautiful and inspiring. Choices you make along the stories - and the interactions you have - actually do have quite a large impact on the story as well. Repeat playthroughs are a bit of a pain due to the relatively uniform opening missions, but there are absolutely some early missions that have a variety of different outcomes. Later missions though.... that's a whole different story. It is truly incredible just how many ways the story can branch, and how so few people will even manage to see many of them! Not all is perfect here though; some scenes are a bit disjointed and the story sometimes feels a bit rushed / forced (such as how quickly Marcus rises in his organisation - not really a spoiler btw). Some choices also seem to have relatively little impact; but again, considering just how many ways the later missions can play out, this isn't really that much of an issue later on. However, the fact that any of your 3 main characters can die in multiple different ways throughout adds some extra tension, which was great. DON'T restart / reload if something that you didn't intend happens though... seriously, trust me The 'flowchart' system is also fantastic for the most part; showing you how many other options there are, and presenting an option for replay to get 100% and unlock things in the main menu. Re: trophies, there are some frustrating ones for sure (magazines and another one I won't spoil) that require quite a few chapters to be played back-to-back if you missed any, but otherwise they're all pretty much based on choices you make. They are all secret from the start too, and for a very good reason. More than many other games, this is absolutely a game to play through blind - at least once - without re-doing / re-trying to change decisions!!! There are a few late-game decisions I made which I regretted, and my endings were bittersweet because of that, but I wouldn't have changed it for the world. In a game built this much around character and story, you're doing yourself a disservice by revealing everything to yourself. As I said, a majority of the trophies are easy enough to get anyway! Overall, do I think Detroit will change people's opinions about this style of game? Honestly? Yeah, I do. There is so much to love here, that I truly believe that this is a game for basically anyone (as long as they're not too young, of course; there are lots of mature themes!). Like the very best story-driven games, Detroit really makes you feel something, and reflect on your own life and choices. There are numerous gut-wrenching decisions that have to be made here, and it's all wrapped up in such a well-developed and interesting world. Very, very highly recommended. Game rating: 9/10 Plat difficulty: 2.5/10 (some difficult QTE's if you're not familiar, but the game can also be played on an 'easy' setting, so there's that :P)
DivineDad89
Platinum #20 Control. Decent game I suppose, wasn't as good as I had hoped but not bad either. I think this game just made me realize how bad I would love to see a sequel to Alan Wake. Overall the combat was good but didn't really care for the story. Game rating 7/10 Platinum Difficulty - 3.5/10 Nothing overly difficult, a few bosses I had to retry but overall an easy platinum.

Popular Post Kishnabe
Platinum #350: Tokyo Xanadu (Vita) Nihon Falcom games are a consideration for a Milestone. This is one got me to LVL 63 and is my 350th Platinum. I preferred Cold Steel and YS series over Xanadu. It a mix of the Action elements from YS and the Social elements of Cold Steel. Took around 2 Plays and around 60-80 hours to plat.

Popular Post ArmoredSnowman
Assassin's Creed Odyssey Epic Cycle Earn every trophy Platinum in 77 hours, 54 minutes. Including 100% on Legacy of the First Blade Ch. 1 - 3 So, where to begin... This game definitely has a easier trophylist than Origins. You don't have to visit all the tombs, forts, or camps, or open all the chests. You literally only have to find every undiscovered landmass, which should only take about 10-12 hours, depending on how you go about it. Unfortunately no trophy guides really tell you that fact, making one think they would have to go through every collectible location. That said, this game has a lot of pros, and a lot of cons. I'll divide them up now: Pros: Nice combat (though I prefer Origins more), especially with Rush Assassination. But...you'll hardly be using any other weapon besides your sword. Intriguing storyline. You can play as either the brother or sister (I chose Kassandra, cuz she's the best), but only one side is canon. That said, if you play as Alexios, some parts will not make sense, like him being with the Daughters of Artemis. Kassandra is the ancestor of Aya...so who led to Bayek then? Short story, but very easy to level up (especially if using the xp boosters from Uplay, or the PSNStore) You fight Medusa, a few Cyclopes, even a minotaur. Don't expect epic battles like in God of War, but still a fun ride. (Haven't faced Atlantis Bosses yet) Less trophy grinding than in Origins. Cons: Markos is boring. Phoibe story tip still showing after her death. Aspacia getting her husband killed. Kassandra leaving her baby with Darius, knowing full well that he's already had all his other children die, as well as him being old. The baby would be no safer with him, than with her. Unnecessary side quests, some that are only meant for romancing (Xenia, for example...had to use PowerPyx's guide, because fuck that mess) Save states. If you die, you're likely going to have to reinvade the fortress, or restart the mission. Really pissed me off when I was fighting Amorges, and had to start right back at the bottom of the cliff. Amorges' shield doesn't break, yet Inu peoples' do. No second arrow combos wheel. The supposedly "immortal" horses still die from fall damage... Game crashes sometimes It sucks playing as Layla, because she's a one-hit kill. I hate the crate-moving puzzles, especially in Atlantis. Swimming fucking sucks. Sharks suck. Snakes suck. (3 hits, you're dead, no matter your level) Fires suck. (Yes, you can dodge roll, but if you're in combat...) No flying horses. Can't sell all non-Legendary weapons at once. (One at a time sucks) Pop up window, when upgrading weapon... Lot of support characters are very boring. You get bounties on you no matter what you do. One of the cultists is so far into the ocean, that you're spending 10+ mins sailing to get to them... No way to track what regions you haven't discovered. The good ending can be fucked off by the slightest wrong prompt (I did everything well, but ended up with only Wolf and Stenton living...pissed me off) Overall, it's a decent game. Very long to plat, Nice combat, though you'll undoubtedly be using your bow and rush assassination for most battles. A lot of things could've been improved, but I notice that it felt a lot like Shadow of Mordor. Definitely give the game a try, but you'll likely be skipping through dialogue, because who cares? But seriously, they should improve auto-saves on this game, and make the sharks easier to deal with. Right now, I'm working on the Fate of Atlantis DLCs. Hopefully I can get those 100% soon, and get back to my backlog.

Popular Post voodoo_eyes
#391 - My Big Sister (Vita) Quite enjoyed this little horror game. Sort of a simplified version of Claire, if it was in isometric view. Popular Post El Duderino
Well, I haven't played this one in way over a decade, but I immediately felt home. A very straight forward open world-ish action adventure with a ton of great humour and precise controls. Playing this game on hardest difficulty wasn't as hard as I expected it to be, even though I had to restart the final battle six times. I definitely remember worse things. The game is still available on PS Store for around 13€ and I recommend it to players who miss those kinda games from the early 2000s. Spinosaurus Rex
#125 - LEGEND OF KAY: ANNIVERSARY Difficulty: 5/10 | Platinum enjoyment: 4/10 | Game enjoyment: 7/10 | Plat rarity: 6.20% Somewhat crappy game from the PS2 era mixing Zelda and typical 3D platformer, but fun nonetheless, especially if you like games with "funny animals". Game also has surprisingly excellent OST with japanese vibe. Easy/normal difficulty was enjoyable and while it offer only simple story and gameplay (it's game for a kids anyway), it kept me entertained until the credits. However, second playthrough on nightmare difficulty and a guide (no chapter select possibility) was a gigantic chore and I don't know how I managed to pull it off (actually I had to abandon game for 2 years to have enough sanity to finish it). Every bad aspect of the game you could turn a blind eye to, here will come back to haunt you, like bad camera, lame dialogues or very patience-demanding fights where button mashing takes you nowhere as almost every enemy blocks your attack and requires tricky approach. Still not the nightmare, as the name could imply, but can make you shout from frustration. This is the platinum which I wouldn't want to approach again. I completely understand platinum rarity as the game doesn't look appealing, has missable trophies and shitty hardest difficulty. From the PS2 platformers which lingered in shadow of Sly, Ratchet and Jak, I'd choose Ty the Tasmanian Tiger over Legend of Kay.
