Popular Post Elvick_
Platinum #183 Pac-Man and the Ghostly Adventures 2 Over Pac-ed Earn every Trophy in the game I liked the first game better... it was a proper 3D platform where you could control the camera. While this one has a set camera you can't move, which works fine but just... isn't as fun to me. But it has been 5 years since I played the first one so maybe my memory is better than the reality. Coincidentally, I got both the plats in September. 7th for the first game, 13th for the second. Had I known I would've wrapped this up by the 7th to have a neat story on it. Oh well. It's more fun when it's unintentional anyway. The controls can be a bit hinky at times, particularly when trying to platform using the lizard/tongue. Sometimes it just doesn't want to attach to where you're supposed to be able to. Or trying to suck enemies with the magnet and instead picking up a huge orb thing flying in the sky instead. Once you hit space there are a lot of levels with pretty severe framerate drops, which is a shame. It really made going through a pain in the ass. The plat isn't too bad, but trying to get gold on every level just gets tedious. It's not hard per say, but how easy or hard it is seems completely random. Some levels you can get nearly all the points needed from the first group of enemies, while others you barely squeak by with the 2x bonus (requiring all 3 fruits of the level to get) by the end. It's odd. And just not fun to have to focus on ensuring your points are right before you finish or continue to a new checkpoint. The fact the dots collected serve no function beyond getting 10 points (nothing) or an extra level at 100 of them is lame. I remember them having more purpose in the first one, unlocking minigames? idk... but it's just kind of stupid. Especially with the bonus areas having so many in them when there's no need. Every level has like 5+ extra life items in it anyway. And the hub has 2 per area, and when you load into a different area of the hub and back into the previous one then it's all reset so you can farm them there if you somehow need them. I rarely had less than 99 (sometimes it displayed as 100 but... idk) I really like the music. I'm probably one of the few who has watched the show and played the games, I like the show itself even if it's a bit juvenile. So I was used to the characters, but this game doesn't have the same voice actors which throws me off particularly the side characters. Not sure if Pac is the same tbh, but everyone else is definitely wrong. Oh and one other glitch I had a problem with is getting stuck on a ice slide. I went to freeze some water that would turn into ice that you jump on and slide on. But I was too close when I jumped and I attached to a low end part of the slide where it came upwards. So I was sliding on the air basically and stuck there. I couldn't get out and the water never unfreezes if you're near it (that I noticed, though it would unfreeze if you walked away which I couldn't). So I had to replay the level which was really annoying since I had the gold score already for it... It was overall fun though, just a bit bland.

I still miss the old NFS games from the PS2 like Most Wanted, Undergrounds and Carbon. The trophies are very straight forward and no collectibles, never struggled with any events either. Popular Post Viper
#174 Goodbye Deponia Platinum Chalice Mainly played these to pass time until Borderlands 3. It was a decent trilogy of games...probably made more awkward by the fact that this felt like the end and they went ahead and made a fourth game (which I'll play eventually). If you're in to point and click adventure games...give this series a go. However, when it comes to trophies you WILL need a guide. I don't understand how people figure these games out in a timely manner considering the descriptions for the trophies are just jokes, they give you nothing in terms of what to do, and a lot of the puzzles would require so much trial and error that doing this legit would be an epic chore. Popular Post StilRh
Plat #156 Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc Fun 7 Would be 8 but the grind at the end severely ruins the platinum experience. Difficulty 5/10 You can turn down the difficulty and brute force your way through the puzzles but your first time if you're really trying to do it the honest way, is a nice brain stretching game without anything too impossible Time 45 hours played over 5 years lol. I had bad luck with school mode and the slot machine, can be completed quicker if you know what you're doing!

Popular Post Zach
#142 Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas Enjoyment: 9/10 Difficulty: 4/10 Time: 35hrs This game was definitely better on the second playthrough. There are so many things I didn't understand as a kid, that made me laugh out loud as an adult. The story and characters here are legendary. For example, Big Smoke is UNFORGETTABLE. I'll have 2 number 9s in honor of Big Smoke. Man this game is truly legendary. The guide here has this game set to a 3/10 difficulty and 40hrs time. Which is fair for sure. For me (as stated above) it is a 4/10 and 35hrs. I probably find the game slightly harder because of the highly outdated "Rockstar controls". I say Rockstar controls because all their "shooter' games are very similar. RDR2, GTA 5 and even RDR1 and L.A. Noire shit all over this game control wise. With all that being said, GTA San Andreas is easily in my top 3 Rockstar games. See ranking below. Top 3 Rockstar games: 1) Red Dead Redemption 1 2) GTA San Andreas 3) L.A. Noire

Popular Post Elvick_
Platinum #184 LEGO Ninjago: Nindroids Master of Ninjago! Collect every trophy 13th LEGO plat. This one took nearly 5 years to get around to finishing. I remembered why when I picked it back up this time... which I'm sure when I last picked it back up I also was reminded why. It's not so much the base gameplay, it's nothing special - what LEGO game is? - but it's this mobile structure to certain handheld LEGO games that really make it a slog to get 100%/plat in. I hate needing to replay levels a billion times in order to do challenges. Worst of all, is you can't even choose characters after seeing what the challenges are and the game never assigns one of each or what you need when you replay a level. So you have to make sure you pick the right ones or you have to load back into the hub world, go back to where you get to the level select, wait for that to load, then try it again. It's a pain in the ass obviously. And it's hard to know what characters are which "class" (for lack of a better word) while in the game itself. Thankfully it's not as shitty as the Marvel one like this, that one you couldn't even die in the levels without having to redo the entire level. I hope this is the last one structured like this I have to play on Vita... it's just not as fun to have to replay for all the challenges. It's pushing it for the collectables in the core games on console (or the full fledged games on handheld). I don't remember the story since it's been forever, iirc it's based on specific moments one of the seasons goes through in the show. Given I was up to S4 (having watched up to S3) it was probably S2 or S3. I've been having S1 in the background while doing all the leftover crap I had to do.) Much like the LEGO Movie Game on handheld, the menu music was a piss poor choice. The song itself isn't the worst ever, (it's everything is awesome on LEGO Movie) but the repetitiveness of the beginning and the fact it starts over every time you return to the menu is really obnoxious. Sometimes jumping on ropes was harder than it should be and you'd misjudge the jump and fall to your death. Which is always fun on a no death challenge run. :'3 I'm happy it's over. It was fun to play the first go through [at least from memory]. But getting the plat really was annoying. Only a few challenges were somewhat challenging, but overall it was easy as most LEGO games are.
Popular Post eigen-space
Platinum #80 - The Witch and the Hundred Knight (PS3) Grande Finale, 10.91% Rarity Difficulty - 6/10 , Time Spent - ~50 Hours , Enjoyment 5/10 The Witch and the Hundred Knight is a hack'n'slash JRPG that has you playing as The Hundred Knight, an extraordinary familiar to the Swamp Witch Metallia. Your main goal in the game is to beat up tons of baddies as you move through maps in order to unlock pillars that release the swamp's power, extending Metallia's reach beyond just her small swamp. As far as game play goes, this game doesn't offer a whole lot. Most of the game is just dodging and hacking away at opponents without much thought to what you're doing. Boss fights are rather trivial, with bosses having rather predictable attack patterns and, most of the time, can just be attacked without worrying much about what's going on with your HP due to a VERY broken super attack system that buffs both attack and defense to insane levels. You get to equip various weapons and armors depending on what you pick up from chests or enemy drops, and there are different configurations (called facets) that make certain weapons/skills more powerful. There are also summons (called tochka) that can help in certain cases, but are only necessary if you want to beat a boss "elegantly". The repetitiveness of the game play made me feel the need to only play this for an hour or two at a time. And now take what I said about everything being easy and trivial and throw it in the trash once you get to the final couple chapters because things get HARD there. You'll actually have to start using items, paying attention to attack patterns, utilizing tochka, everything. And even then, you might have to go out and grind levels or try your hardest to get stronger dropped gear. And even then, you may only beat a boss by the skin of your teeth. It gets pretty intense, which is why I rated this game a 6/10 difficulty. The art in this game is alright. The 3D models are nothing fantastic, and the maps are decent enough for a PS3 game, but the dialogue anime-style artwork is pretty great. Good character design IMO. The voice acting is also pretty good-- it really matches the characters well. And the soundtrack is pretty solid as well... despite some of the game play feeling repetitive and the maps being long, the music never got boring. The one thing that I didn't like about the game was the humor it uses. Metallia is an evil character, and the scenarios that come up in the early game really weren't in line with what I think is funny. I'm the kind of person who, if I can avoid it, plays games like a "good" person... will help out the NPCs, won't steal from poor characters' houses, won't make "evil" choices if I can avoid it.... so this game really wasn't great for me considering that one of the things it teaches you is how to raid people's houses (and you have really sad characters living in the house like "boy with broken leg" begging for mercy the entire time you're ransacking the houses). After a while I became desensitized to it, but it was upsetting for me at first. Another thing that I thought was just OK was the story. You go through some trivial plot lines for the first few chapters that establish the various characters, but you get hit with some massive plot points during probably the last 20% of the game. I dislike when games, shows, movies, books, etc try to put so much of the plot in the last little bit... much prefer when things are peppered throughout. Overall, decent game. I would recommend it if you're looking for something that is a little mindless and you're good at hack-and-slash games (I have a feeling it would be easier for people who are better at those types than me). But it does take a while... I feel like I beat the game pretty quickly, and I still put in just over 50 hours for this platinum.

Platinum Grind: 1/10 ? Difficulty: 3/10 Time: Months.... The main game is one of the best Jump'n'Runs I ever played. The music levels are one of a kind and I really love the flow. But getting the plat and grinding the multiplayer for months was one of the worst experiences I had in my gaming history. Playing the same level over and over and over and over again and knowing that it will take months to get the requirements has demotivated me many times and I had to force myself very often to get it done.

Popular Post ZoutjeNL
Platinum #11 Oddworld New 'n' Tasty Enjoyment: 8 Difficulty: 5 Oddworld, such a great franchise and a bit of an underated one if you ask me. I already completed this game on the PC so this was the second time I went through the game. It was a couple years ago since I last played it so it was nice to play through it again. The first playthrough on hard, getting all mudokons. With an easy playthrough on the side. Straight after completing the level on hard I went to my easy profile to get a good time for the speed n hasty trophy. Overall smooth sailing with the great guides out there. The last playthrough on easy killing Mudokons (I feel so guilty, I am sorry I only did it for the trophy!). Overall an enjoyable platinum, would recommend! The controls might need some time getting used to but once you are familiar it feels like second nature. After so many platinums lately I am probably going to slow down a little bit in terms of speed. Next one will probably be Bloodborne as I started it because I wanted the Platinum to be my 500th trophy.

It requires a deep knowledge of each chapter, a right strategy in most difficult parts and, like every permadeath mode, luck. For Insane mode + no battery recharge I basically followed 3 strategies, trying to mix and adapt them to my playstyle: PS4Trophies Spoiler SquareOneGames Spoiler PersNikity Spoiler During my Insane + no battery recharge run(s) I died 8 times: 1 - Laird & Nick killed me with an arrow in the cliffs section, after the tree/bridge 2 - I screwed up things in the first corn field and missed the final jump on the gate 3 - Laird & Nick killed me with an arrow in the cliffs section, after the tree/bridge 4 - Laird & Nick killed me with an arrow in the cliffs section, after the tree/bridge 5 - Game crash (F**K) 7 - Laird & Nick killed me with an arrow in the cliffs section, after the tree/bridge I was dying everytime with a headshot from Laird & Nick and I realized that no strategy seen in the 3 videos above was fine for me, so I tried to adapt the "cliffs" part to my style. I recorded the whole Insane run with Ps4 SHARE thing and I still have it on Ps4, but the final video length is more than 8 gb and it's impossible to me to upload it because my connection sucks and youtube says "upload estimated time: 4 days ( lol)". 8 - Run out battery in the mines (F**K) 9 - Completed! Popular Post Undead Wolf
#281 - Killer Is Dead Perfect Killer Collected all Trophies. I love me some Suda51 games, and this was no exception. While the story wasn't of much interest to me (mostly because I didn't know what the hell was going on), I really liked the gameplay. It's probably my favourite combat system in all of the Grasshopper titles I've played to date. The game is really stylish too, plus it gets bonus points for having some real cuties in it. The platinum wasn't really challenging outside of a mission or two, but there was a fair bit of grinding involved. Nothing too crazy. #282 - Day of the Tentacle Remastered OCD Get all other trophies in the game Ah, another one of the classic LucasArts adventure games is now complete. Nothing much to say about this one except that I really enjoyed the quirky humour. It definitely had me laughing in a few spots. The mechanic of having 3 playable characters in the same location just in different time periods was really well done. Really good game - I enjoyed blasting through it in one session.
Popular Post Dr_Mayus
Alpha Plat Rain - Final Fantasy XII - The Zodiac Age Now I never played FF12 on the PS2 when it first came out so this was a completely new experience for me. I heard how stupid the combat system was and that was about it. When I finally started this game (all those months ago) I was shocked at how much I loved Balthier and that he may be one of my favourite FF characters of all time. I then actually grew to like all the characters in the game quite quickly. There was not one character that I was annoyed by or wanted nothing to do with (which is a rarity in a Final Fantasy game). I was actually hoping for more story with these characters as I felt one of the major problems with the game is we started slow then raced to the ending. I mean the whole story was like a couple of hours long (at least it felt like it) and I really wished we could have had more character building moments to get to know this unique band of heroes. But instead of getting more time to know the characters...WE GOT ONE OF THE STUPIDEST POST GAME GRINDS I HAVE EVER SEEN. Now I will preface this with saying "I know most of these monsters could have been fought in the trials...so this is partially my fault" BUT WHY PUT THE HUNTS IN THE GAME IF THEY DON'T INTEND THE PLAYER TO ACTUALLY DO IT. I hunted down every rare monster except Omega Mark and Yiazmat because by this point I was like "they are floor 98 and 99..fuck it I will just do it in the trial". Now about the hunts...HOW ARE YOU SUPPOSED TO FIGURE ANY OF THAT OUT WITHOUT A GUIDE. For those who have not played the game some of the hunts are like 'come when it is raining and kill 20 fish without killing any other enemies" (or something like that). No one in the game tells you to do that, you just have to know. Or "stand in this particular spot and kill one of your characters" or "this bad guy has a 5% chance of showing up if you enter this level from a particular way" Fuck those hunts. And speaking of the 5% bullshit. I'm sorry, how are you supposed to know that a chest has a 5% chance of spawning in a particular spot. If I enter a room and it is not there...I assume there is no chest there. I don't know to keep going in and out and in and out and in and out hoping a chest appears behind a pillar at the back of a dark room. Right...I supposedly liked this game...OK the characters are great and the sidequests are stupid. If I had played this game back on the Ps2 I would have beat the boss and said "well that is all there is to do" and never looked back. Well I have 5 letters left until the Alpha Plat Rain.
